As he was going to deliver another punch, suddenly a blast occurs as someone appeared speeding inside from a small opening in an otherwise dark space as she drew her blade and smile.

He opened his eyes as he looked around, it was a night with a full moon. He looked at his vessel taking him back, a bird or what was close to a bird. A girl was sleeping next to him tied to the net around the bird's back so that she does not fall.

As he started to get out of his slumber, he started to realize that the bird was frequently changing its altitude like it was tired.

He softly punches the bird's nape as he said:" hey land on the ground now, I know you are tired."

The bird continued to fly as the man further said "hey! didn't you heard, I said land. Don't strain yourself we are still very far away from Paradis."

The bird finally landed as the man started to untie the girl. A boy partially came out of nape as the man asked him to wait till he unwraps the net.

The man opened his bag and took out a small coat as he passed it to the boy. "here, it is cold outside." the boy took the coat and wore it as he looked at his back. he sighed as he saw the girl at the back safe. the man took the girl and lay her on the ground as he started to untie the ropes.

The man removes the net and ties it into a bundle as he then climbs on the bird and tries to pull the boy out. "I will pull out myself. I don't need your help." said the boy. "are you ok?" the man said with concern.

" yeah, I am fine. not much happened anyway. just lost my family, friends, humanity outside Paradis is dead and my skin around my eyes is hurting very much. the boy ranted.

"Falco," the man said "I am sorry for first, I can not help in second. as for third you will get used to. it will heal quickly."

The boy pulled out as the bird started to collapse. they both came down on the ground as the bird evaporated in thin air. the man rested near a big rock, he wondered how it remains safe even after being crushed by wall titans the boy sat near the girl.

"Mr Yeager," Falco said.

"what," he asked softly.

"do we have something to eat?"

The man pulled his bag as he tossed a candy bar at him. Falco catches the candy bar and opens the wrapper as he saw at the man who silently sits.

"won't you eat something? I think we have plenty of food, right?"

"no, you and Gabi eat. I will eat at Paradis only. and yeah, call me eren. I don't think I now deserve your respect anymore."

"nay, I have been taught to respect elders. even if they are a mass murderer." as he takes a bite.

"or if they are god to an island" eren chuckled. "you don't seem to be angry with me?"

"I am angry but..."

"but what?"

" you lost your friends too."

"I gave them the freedom to oppose me while I kept mine to move forward. inevitably we collided and they broke."

"but still you miss them. right"

"yes"

A silence came as both stared at each other. Falco thought that how different eren was from what he has seen earlier. at that time, he looked like an old war veteran and now a young man. the marleyean uniform oddly suites him.

He then looked at Gabi who was sleeping peacefully.

"did she wake up?" Falco said.

"I don't think so. why?"

"I just thought how she would react when she will..."

"let's hope she doesn't kill me. you know what keep any weapon away from her."

suddenly Gabi woke as she saw Falco.

"Falco!" she said." are you alright. what happened?"

"relax. I will tell you everything. but first."

" where is everyone. Annie, Pieck, Mr arlet, rei..." she said as she suddenly sees eren. "how. HOW ARE YOU ALIVE."

"Yeah, it's me, eren Yeager in flesh. the enemy of humanity and yeah killer of your friends."

"what"

Gabi remains in shock as she is unable to process everything. The last thing she remembers was that everyone was crying as Falco took off.

"and for now, for your information, we are going to Paradis."

Gabi comes out of her shock as she screams "I will kill you".

She lunges forward but Falco grabs her by arm. "hey! Stop." He said.

"are you mad" she points at eren. "this man killed the entire world and he deserves to die." She tries to jerk her handoff.

"Even I want that but then what." he grabs her by her shoulder " Look around, we have nowhere to go, everything is destroyed and the people of Paradis will not spare us for what we did. Remember you shot Mr braus's daughter, you killed that guard, I stomped those people at port, we killed their best man." Tears start to flow from his eyes as he said "Only he can grant us sanctuary. Only he can ensure that we live safely on that island"

Gabi sits down as she nearly breaks down in tears, lost in her own thoughts.

"Hey boy, now you sleep, tomorrow we have to cover a great distance," Eren said as he opens his bag and brings out a blanket and hand over to him. The boy wraps it around itself as he slowly drifts into sleep.

Gabi starts to stare at him with great hatred in her eyes as eren stare up at the night sky counting stars.
