This is why I think it's hilarious whenever Shadow talks to Rogue. Then again, my sense of humor is very twisted. The bolded words are Shadow's words. Enjoy.

Rogue was in his room, bored out of his mind...until Shadow invaded it again.

"Hello there..." Shadow sibilated.

"Oh no!" Rogue shouted. "Not you again!"

"Aren't you glad to talk to me again?" Shadow cackled.

"Rogue," Frosch whimpered from the doorway. "Are you okay?"

"No, I'm really not! At all!" Rogue glared at Shadow, not noticing Frosch's question.

Frosch ran back out to the hall. "Help! Rogue said he wasn't okay!"

"I know, I was just being sarcastic. I already know all your thoughts anyway. I just wanted to talk cause I was bored,"

"Well I don't!" Rogue snarled.

"Help!" Frosch continued to wail. "Rogue's really not okay at all! He might be dying!"

"What?" Sting reacted first. "What happened?"

"Fro asked if Rogue was okay and he said no!" the green exceed cried. "Fro doesn't know what to do!"

"Go away, can't I be bored in peace?" Rogue continued to glare at the floor.

"I can't go away. I follow you everywhere. I'm your shadow. Everyone has a shadow..."

"Yo, Rogue, are you talking to yourself?" Sting frowned, appearing in the doorway.

Rogue didn't notice Sting either, just continued giving the floor a death stare. "You're creepy!"

Sting frowned more. "No, Rogue, people who talk to themselves are creepy. Are you okay?"

"This conversation isn't going very well. But on the bright side, at least we're not bored anymore!"

Rogue snorted. "It's not going well because you're here! I'd rather be bored then deal with you!"

Sting backed away. "I'll take that as a no, and are you sure you want to be bored?"

"You're so fun to mess with," Shadow cackled. "I could do this all day,"

"No, I'm not," the shadow dragon slayer insisted.

"You said you'd rather be bored than deal with me," Sting was so puzzled. "And now you're saying no?"

"I could do this all day, if I wanted, you can't get rid of me after all," Shadow grinned.

"I'd rather not,"

Sting got too annoyed. He shouted, "Rogue! Make up your perplexing mind!"

Rogue finally noticed Sting. "Oh, I didn't notice you there,"

"Is it because you're too busy talking to the floor?"

"I wasn't trying to talk to the floor... Let's just say I was kind of talking to myself,"

"So you're not okay. Okay people don't argue with themselves or shout at the floor,"

"I'm fine, no need to worry about anything..."

"But Frosch said that she asked if you were okay and you said no," Sting insisted.

"Since when?"

"Since you were arguing with yourself, as you claim,"

"I don't know what happened, I'm sure this is just a huge misunderstanding,"

"Between, you, yourself, and the floor?"

"..."

Frosch came back. "Is Rogue okay yet?"

Frosch, to answer your question, I don't know.

I was going to make this a one-shot, but after thinking it over, I decided to post a second chapter soon. See you next time.
