This story doesn't take place in any of my universes, it's just for fun, to give Gabriel a beating, and to have an excuse for the girls to get Miraculous transformations. This story takes place in season 4 of ML and after WITCH issue 139(this WITCH universe is an AU where Cornelia and Caleb are together and he gave her sword-fighting lessons so I have an excuse to give Cornelia the Dragon Miraculous, which comes with a sword). The other girls had combat lessons with Matt, and Will gets the Turtle Miraculous so I can make a "too bad it's not the Frog Miraculous" joke. In the WITCH comics, it's not clear how many years passed, but judging from things like summer vacations, at least 5 years passed, making them adults at 18 and 19, so they should be able to use the special Miraculous powers more than once. It seems that adult Miraculous users don't need to talk to activate their special power. It also seems that the insect-themed heroes didn't get antennae or wings but they probably could if they wanted them, and the wings will probably work. I tried making their costumes fit their individual styles and that they were unique and not just palette-swapped jumpsuits or versions of their Guardian outfits, and I'd love to hear how you would style their Miraculous costumes and who you would give what.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng was stressed, to put it mildly. On top of everything else, Hawk Moth had fixed the Peacock Miraculous, and she still didn't know who he was. So when she, the Miracle Box, and the Kwamis were suddenly transported to a strange place, she was on alert. In front of her,she saw an elderly Chinese woman, five girls in costumes and wings, and… Adrien Agreste?
"Welcome to Kandrakar, Marinette," the woman who was standing there said. "My name is Yan Lin and I'm the Oracle. And there's no need to transform," she added as Marinette opened her mouth. "Now, let me introduce myself. My name is Yan Lin and I'm the Oracle. These girls," she said as she pointed to WITCH, who were standing near her, "are the Guardians of Kandrakar, Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin. You know Adrien, and he is here because he's Chat Noir."
As Marinette gasped and tried to process that, the woman explained what the Oracle and the Guardians did, and that Hawk Moth was Gabriel Agreste, Mayura was his assistant Nathalie, and that he wanted their Miraculouses to save his wife.
"Okay," Yan Lin said after she finished explaining, "I'm sure you, Marinette, want to know why I told Adrien separately, and that's because I wanted to give him time to adjust. Now, although Gabriel has a noble reason for what he's doing, he's going about it in entirely the wrong way, and might not stop if we asked him nicely. I've filled in the Guardians already, and now that Marinette and the Kwamis are up to speed, let's talk strategy. I think the Guardians should go with you two to confront Gabriel. Can you handle that, Adrien?"
"I'm not sure," he said softly.
"Well, in any case, I see that later you and Marinette will cause Kagami and Luka to be Akumatized because of your constant disappearances, so I recommend that you temporarily give a Miraculous to each Guardian so they can take care of business, and you take the day off," Yan Lin said.
That got the Kwamis' attention. They zipped around the girls, begging to be chosen.
"That does sound nice," Marinette said, "but surely they don't need them? And why didn't you do anything about him until now?"
"They probably don't, but their costumes don't protect them like yours do, and yours will give them greater speed and agility. As much as I wanted to do something about Gabriel, the girls were busy fighting other evils and I wanted to give them a break when they were done. You also were doing a great job, but now that it has become much harder for you, I decided to step in."
"Should I and Adrien give them our Miraculouses?"
"That's not necessary," Yan Lin told her. "I think Taranee should wear the Mouse Miraculous, Will should wear the Turtle Miraculous, Irma should wear the Bee Miraculous, Cornelia the Dragon Miraculous, and Hay Lin the Rabbit Miraculous. And girls," she told the Guardians, "I think you should change back to your regular selves before putting on the Miraculouses. I'm not sure if it's good to mix the two transformations. You should be able to use your elemental powers if you need to, but I don't think you'll need to use them."
"Too bad there's no Frog Miraculous. Will would love that," Irma joked. After changing to their regular selves and getting the necessary commands, they transformed.
Will's dark green hoodie, flared pants, combat boots, and mask were outlined in black. Her mask had a light green hexagon in the center, with another one on each corner. There was a thick metal hexagon on the back of each of her black gloves, and more were all over her the rest of her costume as armor. Her belt was made of smaller interlocking ones, and the two braids that peeked out of her hood were green and tied with a hexagon.
Irma had on a yellow tank top with black vertical stripes over a long-sleeved, fringed, black shirt that covered her hands, and her fringed black skirt was like her Guardian one but without the slits, and with vertical yellow stripes like her black steel toe boots and tights. She also had antennae and a pair of giant yellow wings, and her hair was streaked with black and in two long pigtails that were each held with a black barrette. A yellow bandana with black vertical stripes covered the lower half of her face.
Taranee had on a gray, knee-length, halter dress over a black turtleneck, She also had pink fingerless gloves outlined in gray, and pink leggings and shoes like her first Guardian form. She had gray mouse ears outlined in black and with pink inside, a long pink tail, and her hair was in a long braid with pink and gray beads. Her mask was gray and mouse-shaped and outlined in pink.
Cornelia had on a red skater dress with a plunging neckline over a semi-sheer yellow jumpsuit with long sleeves and a square neckline. A black dragon's tail outlined in yellow went from her right ankle to and over the elemental symbols on her chest. She also had red lace gloves outlined in yellow, red streaks in her braided bun, yellow sunglasses, and black rollerskates. Four horns like Ryuko's and a red dragon tail completed the look.
Hay Lin had on a strapless blue jumpsuit that was outlined in black and covered in white cotton balls so you only saw hints of blue. Under it, she wore a white shirt like Yan Lin's Guardian one, and over it, she wore a black skirt that was like her first Guardian one and which was tied with blue cords. Her black shoes and gloves were like her present Guardian ones but outlined in blue, and her hairdo was like her present one but the buns were tied with blue ribbons and the ends of her hair were blue. A rabbit tail, white rabbit ears outlined in black and with blue inside, and a blue scarf that was outlined in white and over the lower half of her face completed the look.
Yan Lin teleported them to Gabriel Agreste's room where he was waiting in his Hawk Moth costume, surprising him greatly.
"Who are you, and how did you get here?" he asked.
"That doesn't matter. What matters is that we're going to take you down!" Will declared, and then they attacked him.
Gabriel was a challenge, but they soon had him paralyzed with Venom, and they were teleported back to Kandrakar.
Yan Lin explained who she was, and that since she couldn't let him terrorize Paris, she would heal his wife as long as he gave his Miraculouses to Marinette.
After he did so and was reunited with a healed Emilie, the girls gave their Miraculouses back.
"Is there any chance we can borrow these the next time we fight evil?" Irma asked wistfully.
"Maybe, maybe not," Marinette said teasingly.
"Marinette and Adrien, before you go, we have to tell you that you each have a magical ability that makes people like you and want to befriend you. However, it is rather weak and only works on people who already like you at least a little bit. Lila has a much stronger vesrion of that power, along with the ability to make people believe whatever she says," Will said.
"And speaking of Lila, surely a Lucky Charm will help you with that," Yan Lin said with a smile. The girls hugged, and then were returned to their homes.
Marinette smiled as she sat on her bed; things were looking much better!
I'm sorry for not describing how they fought Gabriel, but this story was taking me long enough to write. Has anyone else wondered why Marinette didn't use a Lucky Charm to solve her problems? Since there are magical people on WITCH's Earth, this was the perfect way to explain how people instantly became stupid when Lila opened her mouth. Cornelia's look was inspired by Tynix, and Taranee's and Hay Lin's looks were inspired by their Power Girl outfits, which was a transformation exclusive to that doll line.
