It began as a whispering in the air. The day had been beautiful and the sky was like a dome of plasma-blue. The clouds had looked like airy anvils drifting under the gleaming disc of sun.
A blonde-haired boy had put our tent up just before the Reaper's moon of autumn appeared over the trees. The moon seemed to turn the leaves into a flaming patchwork of colours: scorching-yellows, lava-reds and burnished-browns. It added an alien glamour to a perfect scene. He heard a greedy thrush, snail a-tapping on rock; he finished his supper before fluttering into the owl-light of the forest. The mournful cry of a lonely fox echoed through the vault-still silence of the trees.
A huffing wind rose up then, stirring the flaps of our tent. A tinkling sound came to his ears as the first pearls of rain dropped onto the leaves.
The sound was like the glassy clinking of a champagne flute, lilting and clear. A sheet of rain passed over him and the sound intensified. The noise on the tent was like the phut-phut-phut that ripened nuts make when they hit the ground. It wasn't the soft, sodden, swollen drops of spring we were hearing; it was like ball-bearings were hitting the canvas roof with force. We could also hear an occasional ker-plunking sound. It was caused by the rainwater gathered on the tent falling to the ground in a great swash of release.
The thermometer plunged as he huddled together and shivered in the tent.
For a brief moment, he thought that he might be doomed , destined to get swept away in a mighty flood. He needn't have worried. The curtain of rain passed over by the time dawn arrived. An explosion of birdsong erupted from the dripping trees and it was if the rain had never been.
The blonde-haired boy and his tent was swept into a dark gloomy ravine by the vigorous winds.
Naruto's perspective
"where in the hell am I?" Naruto spoke.
"Well my child, we are currently in the Abyss," The mysterious woman answered,as the woman spoke Naruto took out his dagger. "My, My child we dont need to be violent," The woman conversed menacingly with killing intent lacing her words. Naruto nodded while trembling. The mysterious woman now went make to her cheerful state.
"M-my n-name is na-ruto uzum-aki..." Naruto mumbled, slightly terrified.
"Oh my, Where are my manners, My name is Ayaka. And why are you here? Where are your parents?" Ayaka asked.
"I was swept here by the wind, well I'm a orphan... and well the other villagers hate me," Naruto said sheepishly while scratching the back of his head. They conversed for hours and hours until Ayaka decided to teach Naruto swordsmanship.
Time skip(3 months)
In those three months, the swordsmanship taught Naruto how to pass through the abyss unhindered, and more importantly, nurtured the ability to stir up endless havoc from within Naruto's trouble-mongering nature.
No one knew what happened within that darkness during those three months, nor would Naruto ever speak of this to anyone, only 3 days had passed in this world, thus did Naruto's first training end, with his now-rusty dagger in hand.
This would mark the end of his youth and the beginning of his days as a warrior...
