Author's note: This story will mainly be narrated by Jason and Reyna.

Reyna:

Reyna shivered. Her cabin was cold even though she had piled hundreds of blankets on top of her. She turned over again and again, trying to sleep but Somnus must have been annoyed at her or something. She ran a hand through her long, dark hair wishing that her sister, Hylla, were here. She'd probably say something like

'Toughen up daughter of Bellona! Roman warriors are supposed to be tough not snivelling at a bit of cold weather!'

She chuckled quietly at the idea even though she knew her sister was miles away, ruling the Amazons.

Reyna changed a lot since they'd escaped from those wretched pirates, physically and mentally. She'd become less scared, more aware of her surroundings. She'd become more muscular and less Barbie-like. And most importantly, she had friends, real friends. When Apollo's current oracle, Rebecca-or something like that- had prophesized that eight (Yeah, yeah, I know it's seven, but this is Fanfiction right?) demigods would bring down Gaia, she knew she was one of them-Jason too- but then he'd disappeared. Reyna had been devastated. She'd searched everywhere to find him but the closest she came to finding him was when a son of Neptune -Percy- had come to Camp Jupiter only remembering one name; Annabeth. She'd blatantly asked him out, but he'd refused. Obviously, this Annabeth girl was everything to him. When he'd gone on a crazy quest and Greek warships had turned up at the docks, Annabeth had run up to Percy, Jason running behind him. Jason had tackled Reyna with a hug. Then he'd introduced him to Piper, a daughter of Venus. Piper was the most beautiful girl Reyna had ever seen and instantly she'd known, she couldn't compete with her. She was immediately jealous. But during the party, Jason had pulled her aside and to her surprise, told her that Reyna was the only person he loved. Hers was the name he remembered during his "memory blackout". Reyna nearly fainted on the spot. Then she almost did again as Jason kissed her. Then, Leo had fired on Camp Jupiter and things had gone sideways. And if her day could've gotten any worse, it did, and she'd got hit in the head by a brick. A BRICK! SERIOUSLY?! Next thing she remembered, she woken up on this ship, and had been in bed for two days straight, recovering from her head wound.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a light knock on the door. Reyna said," Come in," surprised by how weak her voice was. The door swung open, revealing Jason, who shut the door behind him, walked in and sat down on the end of her bed.

"Hey," he said

"Hi,"

"How's your head?" he asked softly.

"It's been better," replied Reyna. They chatted like this for about five minutes until Jason said he had to go, or Coach Hedge was going to come and shout at him.

"Love you," Reyna whispered as he walked to the door.

"Love you too," was his reply.

"Y'know, you're almost as beautiful as you're mom," grinned Jason embarrassedly.

"You've met Bellona? You've never told me that!" cried Reyna indignantly.

"What? No! I meant Aphrodite. What do you mean Bellona?" asked Jason, clearly confused. Reyna shook her head in annoyance.

"My mom is Bellona. Are you confusing me with Piper or something?"

Reyna was wounded. She knew that while Jason was missing, something had gone on between him and Piper, but she hadn't realised that he was careless enough to confuse them. Jason's confused frown deepened.

"Piper, what are you on about? Your mom is Aphrodite? Do you have a concussion or something?"

All the blood drained from Reyna's face. Piper. No, please no. She ran to the mirror staring into it at the face of her nightmares. The girl in the mirror was not Reyna. It was Piper Mclean. And Jason loved her. Reyna woke up screaming.
