JEEZ, I REALLY NEED TO FOCUS ON ONE STORY AT A TIME (but I just finished AOT ep. 9 S1 (I don't want to hear about it, I'll catch up eventually...) and I already love Levi!)! Before anyone says anything, yes, there is an OC in this named Briar Langley. She's 31 (so a year younger than Levi) and the two are friends. She is a captain, like Levi and takes great pride in getting on Levi's (and anyone else's who happens to be near) nerves. All funniness aside, however, she's a skilled fighter and can be serious when she wants to. She's even saved Levi's butt a few times. At any rate, I came up with this at like 4 in the morning, so yeahhh...Enjoy!

Chapter 1: An Affair

Captain Briar Langley opened her green eyes, and flipped onto her back. This palette was so uncomfortable. She hated it. Of course Levi got to have his own bed, but everyone else (including his fellow captains) got palettes with the rest of the soldiers. Well, at least there was an advantage to being a girl. She got a room but with no bed. Just a dang palette. She hoped Levi knew. Hopefully, he would and could do something. Briar snapped out of her trance like state she'd gone into when she heard footsteps outside the door. And...giggling? She heard the door a few doors down open and shut. Out of curiosity, she got up and left the room. She headed down the hallway and pressed her ear against the door. She heard moaning and swearing and they weren't exactly of someone who was in pain.

Crud. Well, time to get Levi. I'm not up to yelling at people tonight.

Levi could be an insomniac sometimes. There was no point in denying that fact. Nightmares. Nightmares were what kept him up, but if anyone asked him why he was out of bed at an ungodly hour, he would simply say that he was on patrol. Tonight, however, he stayed in his room, and actually tried to sleep. But, like already stated, nightmares struck.

Furlan.

Isabel.

Everyone else who died. All because of him.

Levi stood on a hill overlooking a blood stained battlefield. He had the inkling that he was looking for someone. He headed onto the field.

He gasped.

Hanji.

Eren.

Erwin.

All were dead. And around them were the dead bodies of Levi's squad and dead comrades. But what made the captain's breath catch in his throat was the dead body right in front of him.

Briar Langley.

Levi dropped to his knees, his form shaking. He took her body in his arms, lifting her broken frame onto his lap.

"Nonono! Please, no! I-I c-can't lose you t-too!," Levi screamed! Briar's beautiful eyes fluttered open for a second, long enough to communicate with her eyes: I hate you. Suddenly, her arm flew up and caught him in a choke hold!

"Hgh- Bri, pl-please- don't!," Levi pleaded. Half-dead Briar smirked. Then-!

"LEVI WAKE UP!"

Levi sat up so fast, he almost got whip lash! He was breathing hard, but it was also shaky. He turned and saw a living, breathing, concerned looking Briar looking at him.

"C-captain Langley. Please tell me I wasn't talking in my sleep and how long have you been here?," he questioned.

"Just for few seconds. And if you were talking in your sleep, I wasn't in here to hear it. But good thing I got here when I did! You were literally choking yourself! And don't call me 'Captain Langley'. Just Briar, or Bri. You know that, Levi," she replied. Levi nodded, but it was more to himself than her. Then he stiffened.

"Why?"

"Come again?"

"Why were you in here in the first place?"

Briar looked uncomfortable. "There may or may not be people having a 'relationship thing' in the room next to mine." Levi swore and got out of bed. Briar yelped and covered her eyes! "What?," Levi asked, confused. "Put on a shirt!," she yelled, though it sounded strangled, like a laugh had made it's way in at the last second. Levi punched her in the shoulder, then grabbed a shirt and put it on. Just then, they heard a scream from down the hallway. The 2 sighed. Time to go break up some monkey business.

Levi was impatient. That was known by everyone in the Survey Corps. So impatient in fact, he kicked the door into the room where the - um, how do I say this appropriately? Yeah, we'll just stick to monkey business - was going on in. The room was pitch black. In fact, the only give away that there was actually anyone there was a woman's shriek and footsteps running towards the door, towards Levi and Briar. And...muffled sobs...?

Briar reached out and grabbed the woman's wrist, twisting her arm and pinning her to the wall, despite her struggles! Levi eyes had adjusted and he ran over the window and threw the curtains open, moonlight streaming in! What and who Levi and Briar saw on the bed, made them gasp in shock!

Eren Jaeger lay there, a blanket slightly covering him, his eyes and mouth covered with cloths, his wrists bound with rope to the head board, and his ankles bound as well. His legs and chest weren't covered...and they were bare, with no clothes on. The boy had tears running down his cheeks. Clearly, what the woman had done to him had been against his will. Levi immediately started to untie him. Briar knocked the woman out, and went over to help. Once Eren was untied, however, he just wouldn't stop crying and curled into a fetal position.

"Eren, shut up and get up," Levi started to say, but Briar punched him so hard, he actually rubbed his arm from the impact. Then she muttered to him to go tie up the woman, while she ran to get Hange. Levi tried to avoid looking at the woman's naked body as he tied her with some sheets. Then he bent down to make eye contact with the woman. He slapped her in the face to wake her up. Her head rolled and she looked up. And smiled!?

"Well, well, well if it isn't Captain Levi Ackerman," she said...And Levi gasped upon seeing her face.

Briar was back exactly 10 minutes later with Erwin, Hange, Mikasa, and Armin. What they all saw made chaos walking erupt! Hange and Armin rushed to Eren's side, while Mikasa, Erwin, and Briar went over to Levi who had his fists bloody and was holding the woman by the hair. The woman's face was a mess, probably from Levi hitting her. He forced her head up and Erwin gasped! Briar would've gasped as well if she hadn't been holding Mikasa back.
