A stranger riding a motorcycle stop short in front of Yumeko and the group.He draw a gun and pointed it toward Yumeko.It happen fast and gun shot sounds loudly,making their ears ringing.

All eyes were shut and when Yumeko open her eyes expecting to be bleeding from gun shot.There is nothing happen to her.

When she look in front,there is Midari and she turn around and smirked.She look downs and Yumeko's eyes followed.

The blood slowly seeping through Midari's cloth.

"Ah-",Midari slipped to the side losing consciousness,while Yumeko stand still and just watch.

[At the hospital]

"Doctor what happen to her,will she be okay?!",asked Suzui.

"She is still in the ICU and they are trying to stabilized her.We will try our best!!"

Yumeko sit silently at the corner of the bench.Mary sit at the opposite side and Ririka beside Mary.

"Why?!,why she do that? Why she saved me?!!!.I have been nothing but acting like she never exist,over and over again.Why would she take a bullet for me?!.It doesn't make any sense.Why she didn't just hate me?"

Yumeko question herself over and over again.For all the things she said to Midari,all the things she do to her,act toward her.Anyone else would just move on and left her with a bitterness in their heart with that kind of treatment but not her.

"Is that how you really feels toward me,Midari."She said to herself.

[Yumeko in her room]

The day after the gun shot.Yumeko calls the doctor regarding Midari's condition.She still in the ICU and need constant watch.

She sobbing and try to contains that feels of regret and anguish.She cried nonetheless.

[3 months later]

Midari laying in her bed,hospital's bed that is.Looking outside the windows,small birds coming in and out of the view.The tress and the leafs wiggles and the winds blow them left and then right.

"I will just go for a walk down the corner."

As she walk around the hospital and passing one of the corridor.She stop and smile.

"What are you doing here,Yumeko?"

"I- I want to check on you!" replied Yumeko.

"Ahh...I'm fine really,no need for that."

"Aren't you hating me,Yumeko? Do I even exist in your view?"

"I-"

"Before you answer that.Let me say this; I guess,I had it coming with the way I act with our 'game of gamble'.As a result...no a consequence of that you hate me,truly."

"Yumeko,I took a bullet for you,how dumb can I be?!"

"All for wanting you to like me back, wanting your attention...I want you,Yumeko!!!"

Midari look downward and took a deep breath and she looking at Yumeko once again.

"And all I got is hatred.No need to come here and see me,I will be quiting the school."
