Okay guys, so I came up with his cool idea for a celebrity/billionare au, if that's what you wanna call it, and I've started writing one-shots for it. Before you read this, let me tell you about this au:

Bill Cipher - Billionaire, and one of the most famous men in the world.

Will Cipher - Lawyer. His girlfriend is Arianna Honeycomb, who later cheats on him. His hair is died light blue, like how he is blue in Reverse Falls.

Tad Strange - Therapist/Psychologist. Helps Bill, Will, and other friends with issues. He's a great friend that you can easily get along with.

Tre'Vaun 'Tri'Vaun' Spark (OC) - Used to have a girlfriend named Charlotte Brandy. Lived in poverty, but became successful when Bill helped him out. Became the CFO of Cipher Industries by handling financials.

Mabel Pines - Bill's secretary. Later is sent to spy on Pacifica's company.

Mason 'Dipper' Pines - Your average citizen. His ex is Ricky Mahogany. Works at a consultant company. Later meets Bill. (No Billdip, I want others to be able to read this story too).

Ricky Mahogany (OC) - Dipper's ex.

Arianna 'Ari' Honeycomb (OC) - Will's girlfriend. Later cheats on Will for a guy named Ryan, and is forced to leave her own apartment.

Charlotte Brandy (OC) - Tri'Vaun's girlfriend. Died in a car crash shortly before Tri graduated from college.

Pacifica Northwest - Owns a popular fashion business. Rich.

Pyronica - A co-worker at Will's job. Helps him along Will's journey of recovering from the heartbreak of Ari cheating on him. Friends with Bill and Kryptos as well.

Kryptos - Works at Pacifica's company as a designer. Friends with Pyronica.

WARNING: Tons of cussing in this, you have been warned. This might get emotional. Let me know if I should mark this Rated M.

Enjoy!

Mabel shut her laptop frustratingly and halfheartedly set it on the luxurious wooden table (but not enough to break it), and sank into the couch, letting it's cushions consume her. She'd been thinking about Pacifica-this and Pacifica-that all day long, and she was going to have to tell her the truth about how she worked for Bill eventually. She hated lying to her just so she could keep her other job. She loved Pacifica - she really did, and if she didn't she would've left the company by now and given Bill the files that he wanted. But she couldn't keep this relationship up anymore, she couldn't keep hiding things from her, she couldn't keep having secrets and making promises that she knew she couldn't keep.

That's when she heard the front door creak open - the jingling of keys for the car, house and whatnot, the ruffle of a purple purse swaying back and forth with each swift movement that she stepped into the room, the clicks and clacks of those high heels walking on the clean and smooth floorboards.

"Mabel, I'm-" she stopped yelling when she turned her head to see her girlfriend sitting on the couch looking distressed. "Oh, didn't expect to see you there. Did you finish the new design concepts?"

Maybe she could hold it off for a while. Take her mind off of it by engaging in Paz's small-talk.

"Yeah. Hans is going over them."

She nodded. "How's Kyr-"

Mabel's phone started ringing. She took it out her pocket to see who it was, expecting an unknown number or something. Nobody usually called her at this time, unless it was-

Call from...

Bill Cipher

Accept - Deny

At that she felt the smallest bit of dread and panic filling her, wondering what her boss would be calling her about at this hour. He rarely called late at night. "Excuse me for a moment." she said, rushing up the stairs and going to the furthest guest bedroom that she could find in Pacifica's enormous house. The phone could only ring more, (and was it just her, or was it getting louder each second, increasing the sense of urgency?) and she quickly answered it.

"Hello?"

"Mabel," her attention grew at the use of her name, instead of the usual Shooting Star, and worry glazed her eyes as she lurched up from the bed she was leaning on, ears listening carefully. "I need you to leave the company now. If we don't hurry, Py's gonna find out and kick our asses. I'll be waiting for you down near 578 North Road, can you do that for me?"

She let out a relieved sigh that she didn't know she was holding in. "Yeah sure. I'll be there in fifteen minutes."

"Thanks."

He hung up, and the line went dead.

Then she realized what she'd have to do.

She started packing her suitcase back up, zipping it and leaving it in the hallway after walking back downstairs.

"Is everything alright?" the blonde girl asked with light concern, but nothing dramatic.

"Paz, there's something I need to tell you." Mabel responded, nervously toying with her pink sweater.

"Well, what is it?"

"Uh…"

C'mon, Mabel. Just spill it. Get it over with! Just be honest with her! If you don't do this now then you're going to regret staying with her and not being honest with your boss for the rest of your life! You can't be the downfall of Bill's company, you're his secretary for Pete's safe!

What?! You're blaming this on yourself? Fuck Bill, he's just a normal citizen who happens to be rich. He'll forgive you. And if he doesn't, sure, it'll cost you your dream job of being his secretary, but-

Are you an idiot?! Are you a damn narcissist? You know you can't be with her. She may be a bitch and may be trying to plot the end of his business, but she's still his half-cousin - technically - even though she doesn't give a shit about him!

She may not care about him anymore, but she cares about me!

Bullshit! Dammit, just spill it and everything will be-

"I work for Bill."

Pacifica's jaw was wide open, she was so shocked, so disoriented at those four words she spoke, that it took her a minute to realize and comprehend what she was saying. But Mabel continued before Paz could start yelling at her.

"I'm Bill's secretary. I was sent here to spy on your company. So I gave you that fake resume; I have no experience. I became your top-notch designer regardless. I was at the top of the board. You swayed me off my feet. You fell in love with me…" she paused for a moment, looking to the side.

"... I fell in love with you."

"But now, I can't keep doing this anymore. I have to leave you, Pacifica. I have to go back to where I belong."

"But Mabel. Bill doesn't matter. You could stay with me and we could be happy together. You could continue to be my top designer. We could get married. We could-"

"Just- just- SHUT UP!" Mabel yelled in anger, slamming her hands on the table as tears streamed down her face. Pacifica cringed at her sudden outrage, seeming hurt by it. Mabel wiped her face off with a few tissues, getting rid of some of the smeared makeup, and threw them in the trash. She picked up her things - she grabbed her laptop, the files Bill needed, her belongings, her suitcase, and walked towards the door. She reached for the doorknob and was about to leave when-

"I've kept secrets from you, too."

She froze, slowly turning to look back at Paz, whose head was hanging down in shame.

"Arianna… She... "

Did she know about Will's ex? That was the only Arianna she knew.

"I made her do it."

"Do what?" Mabel asked.

"I made her leave Will. I forced her too. I told her she needed to. And she listened to me."

"You selfish bitch!" she yelled, tone filled with harshness and hate she didn't know she had, adrenaline filling her, anger the only thing known to her right now. "Is that all you're here to do?! Ruin all the good lives that are left in this world? You ruin a perfectly good man's life - Will could've changed the world! He was a kind and confident person, and he could've helped this city. But look at him now! He's taking fucking drugs and drinking whiskey everyday! And you fuck it up - all for what? Your own personal gain? How can you say you love me - or love anyone - when all you want to do is be rich, stay rich, and be the only person who's rich?! You think success is being perfect and being the one who's number one, and the only one who's standing on top, huh? I'll tell you what success is. Success isn't being somebody like you. Success isn't when you have everything you could possibly ever want because you're living in some big-ass mansion with all these servants and maids. Success doesn't take into account when or where you are, or what state you're in. Success is when - even in hard times, when you're poor and desperate, and barely surviving each day - that you realize that you're still living the good life, because you're still alive, because all that matters is seeing the smile on your family and friends' face everyday. That's what matters! That's what success is all about! When you finally realize that the only thing you need are the people close to you!"

Pacifica stood shell-shocked, running to the door to stop her, and Mabel didn't waste her time to turn the knob this time and walk out the door. She flipped the bird at the flustered blonde before slamming the door in her face and running to where Bill said he was going to pick her up at. With the adrenaline still going through her veins, she made it there pretty quickly, opening the door to the black car that'd been waiting there and getting in.

"Are you alright?" Bill asked. It didn't take a genius to know that she was an emotional train wreck.

"I'll be fine." she said.

He sighed, and put his foot on the gas pedal anyway, driving off as the rain started to fall from the sky in tiny droplets. Despite all the tears Mabel had let out, she found it beautiful.

Because everything was beautiful in it's own way.

Even the broken. And damaged. And lifeless.

Even her.
