After a stressful time at the island with the assassination attempt to Koro Sensei that unfortunately failed and the sick act by Takaoka poisoning half of the students only to find out it was a fake virus and more like food poisoning, Class 3-E were able to enjoy the last day on the island with some beach fun, Koro Sensei's Cave Escape, and trying to setup Professor Bitch and together which failed ultimately. However, one chemist girl was in her hotel room looking for the right dress to wear for a special occasion she's planned for the night with a certain red-haired demon. She remembers back in the cave when she was paired with Karma, when she had the courage to ask him out.
*Flashback*
Okuda: H-Hey um..Karma...
Karma: Hm? Wassup Okuda?
He looks back at her after she suddenly stops and is poking her fingers together looking very nervous...and flustered.
Okuda: S-Since today is our last day...u-um...could we go walk by the beach later tonight a-and...maybe for some ice cream?
Karma stays there just staring at her thinking about what she asked him which causes her to panic a bit and take back what she said.
Okuda: Y-You don't have to say yes, I-I'll understand that you don't want to hang out...
Karma: Count Me In! Just tell me what time and where do you wanna meet?
Okuda's entire face turned red as Karma said yes to her idea of hanging out with a smile that makes her heart feel like it's gonna burst. She regains her control and smiles back in excitement.
*End Flashback*
She styled her hair into one braid, applied little bit of makeup, and finally decided what to wear for the special occasion. Meanwhile on the first floor in the lobby room is Karma laying back on a chair with a straw on his mouth waiting for Okuda to arrive. Even though she asked him to hang out, he still wants to give her a great time that if she showed up 8 minutes ago like she said they would meetup.
Okuda: Karma! S-Sorry I'm late, I was having a hard time getting ready hehe...
Karma: No worries Okuda, I didn't...wait...long...
Karma felt his jaw drop when his straw fell off as he saw how beautiful Okuda was looking tonight. Little makeup, her hair braided into one braid, and a beautiful Navy-Blue dress with White Flowers. Of course, he's always seen Okuda as beautiful but the way she looked tonight was something else to him.
Karma: W-Wow...you sure look like a rare pretty flower.
Hearing Karma complimenting her left the chemist girl blushing red as a tomato but she could've also sworn she saw Karma blushing softly when he saw her.
Okuda: T-Thank you Karma! Should we go now?
Karma smiles and proceeds to walk with Okuda to the ice cream shop they found earlier while discussing about the crazy time they had on this island trip.
Okuda: So this whole time it was just extreme food poisoning from expired oysters?
Karma: Yep. Turns out those three men knew Takaoka was dead serious about poisoning us so the bartender switched up the actual virus with just expired oysters. All that rush and panic for some rotten fish, then again Kataoka was here so it's a good thing we finally put an end to him.
Okuda: Would've been nice if that didn't happen, whether our assassination attempt was a success or failure this was also our vacation time but we only had one whole day to actually have fun.
Karma: Hey, look at what we're doing right now. It may be nighttime but we're making the best out of it. We had some beach time earlier, did a cool cave adventure which turned out to be Koro Sensei's shipping game, enjoyed a failed date attempt between our teachers, we're enjoying some nice ice cream, and going to have a nice walk on the beach. If you ask me, I'd say this is the best way to spend our final day of vacation.
Okuda: Yeah, now that you mention that it does sound like we did a lot for vacation in one day.
Karma: Hey, do you think you could wait for our ice creams to be ready while I go do something real quick?
Okuda: O-Oh...sure! I'll wait!
Karma: I won't take long I promise.
Karma waves at Okuda as he leaves the ice cream shop leaving her by herself waiting for their ice creams. A gut feeling in her believes Karma just ditched her since no guy would ever want to hang out with a chemist girl like her. But she knew Karma very well and she trusted him just as he trusts her. And she knew she shouldn't doubt Karma as he does comeback 5 minutes later panting which brings a huge relief to her but also a small concern as to why he was running?
Karma: Sorry...if I...took so long...than what I was expecting...
Okuda: No No, it's fine! You didn't take long actually. Are you okay though?
Karma: Yeah...just came running because I didn't want you to think I ditched you or anything like that hehe.
Okuda giggles at the sight of the troublemaker of the class catching air from running just because he did not want her to be sad. But it warmed her heart to see that he doesn't want her to be sad or believe he ditched her, it just makes her love this goofball even more. If only she had the guts to tell him how she feels but she puts it aside for now and hands him his ice cream.
Okuda: Here you go, maybe some ice cream can help you.
Karma: Thanks. I really need one right now...maybe two.
Okuda giggles more as she and Karma head out to the beach while enjoying their ice creams and chatting more. They chatted about school, more assassination attempts for Koro Sensei, chemicals for Karma's pranks, life outside of school, and more things. Both were having a fun time until Okuda stops to take a look at the beautiful view of the ocean in the nighttime alongside the sight of the moon. Karma notices her falling for the beautiful trance of the ocean and looks down at his pocket before being caught off guard by her.
Okuda: Such a beautiful scene, the ocean waves, the moon shining on the water...really makes us believe there are beautiful things in life...
Karma: Yeah...it really is beautiful. Every time I look at it, I can't stop thinking about it nor its beauty.
Okuda felt it so heartwarming to know what Karma thinks about the view since he usually isn't too open. That's what she thought as she doesn't notice Karma said that looking at her and not the ocean. She sighs as she looks down to her hands knowing that if they fail to kill their teacher...she won't be able to see more beautiful things in life especially with him.
Okuda: It's a shame really...that if we can't kill Koro Sensei, he'll blow this place up including us...we won't be able to see more or grow up like we wish to...
Karma: Don't say that. Remember what I said back in the cave, we will find a way to kill our teacher and I'll be the one to give the final bl-
Okuda: AND IF WE FAIL?!...What happens if we fail Karma...I-I'm scared and I'm not ready...Can we not for once fantasize what we want but instead accept the reality...FACE IT! WE ARE THE WORST OF THE WORST! THAT'S WHY WE ARE ASSIGNED TO KILL KORO SENSEI!
Karma was surprised by the sudden outburst from Okuda but instantly could tell she's scared and hurt. He knew he had to calm her down before it would get worse.
Karma: Okuda..please calm down. We are not gonna fail, we will succeed and I Pro-
Okuda: KARMA STOP!
There was only silence after that between the two. Karma left shocked while Okuda was regaining control but realized how she screamed at Karma. She covers her mouth and looks down avoiding him and hoping he wouldn't see her cry. But the sniffs were enough for Karma to hear and knew she was struggling.
Okuda: I-I'm sorry...I shouldn't have never shouted at you like that. W-We're a bunch of failed students who are going to fail at killing our teacher and saving this world. W-We thought we had it this time but it failed as well...not to mention we were all put in danger...I'm never going to grow up, I'll never get to reach my dream,…. I won't be able to spend enough time with my friends and f-family...I'll never be able to find love...I-
Okuda was suddenly interrupted by Karma hugging her and holding her very close. All she could to was hug him back and release the tears she tried to hide. The moment was once again silent as the moon shined on the duo. Karma kept hugging her and was not thinking of letting her go.
Karma: Don't say that! Don't ever say that! I know the odds are against us especially with a Mach 20 superbeing. But I promise you Okuda, we will do everything to kill our teacher and still keep going. Take my word for it, we are not quitters nor failures. We are Class 3-E and we are gonna succeed.
Okuda was slowly calming holding onto Karma as she stopped trembling and began to take deep breaths to relax herself. Karma didn't even bothered letting go of her, he wished it could go on like this forever but he knew he had to let go of her once she's calm. Okuda took another deep breath and began to talk calmly again.
Okuda: I-I'm...S-Sorry Karma...I let my emotions get the best of me...I-I understand if you're angry me...I ruined this night for the both of us...
Karma: You didn't. You just needed some comfort and reassurance. That's why I acted fast in keeping you close.
Okuda: T-Thank You Karma...I'm okay now.
They both deeply inside wanted to keep hugging each other but knew they had to let go and eventually they do. However, when they do let go Okuda notices something around her neck and when she notices she couldn't believe her eyes.
Okuda: K-Karma...
Karma: You remember when I said I had to go do something real quick, it was for that. I remember when we got to the island, I overheard you telling Kayano and Kanzaki how you loved that necklace and wish you could have it. So, I decided to stop by quickly to the jewelry shop and buy it for you. It really does match your eyes you know.
Okuda blushed at Karma's compliment but couldn't believe Karma got her the Angel Wing Necklace Devil Wing with Purple Heart Garnet Inlaid. She wanted to cry again but this time tears of joy. Without thinking, she jumps onto Karma hugging him again.
Okuda: Thank you Karma! Thank You! Thank You!
Karma blushed softly by this sudden move by Okuda but instantly hugs her back. This is the Okuda he always to see, protect, and always make her happy. Karma loves Okuda and he wouldn't change it for anything. He feels ready to tell her that he sees her more than friend but decides not to ruin the moment and keeps hugging her. Few minutes later, they let go and continued on their beach walk still chatting and having some good laughs until they head back inside to the hotel as it's getting late. Despite the breakdown Okuda released, both her and Karma agreed that they still had a blast and it was a great way to end their vacation. As they head back inside, Karma decides to take Okuda back to her hotel room which she agrees with and both enter the elevator. As they begin to go up it's quiet between the two until Okuda breaks the silence with a question.
Okuda: So, what happens now? Do we...
Karma: Let's just keep this between us for now, if we tell the class there's no telling, they'll stop annoying us about it. Not to mention the Octopus would be freaking out.
Okuda: Yeah, you're probably right. Not to mention most of the girls wouldn't leave me alone about it.
Karma and Okuda laugh about it as they approach the fifth floor of the hotel holding hands the entire time. They arrive at Okuda's room as they are ready to call it a night and head back home tomorrow.
Karma: You got the key card?
Okuda: Yep! First thing I packed before we hung out. Thanks again Karma...for tonight, I really had a fun time with you besides what happened. And thank you again for the necklace, it's really beautiful.
Karma: I'm glad we had a great time as well. And I'm happy we got to spend more time together. Maybe tomorrow after school, we could go for some ice cream again.
Okuda: I'd love that.
The two stay quiet for a bit hoping one of them would make the first move but it was also getting late for the both of them, perhaps for another time.
Karma: I'm gonna head back now, get some sleep Okuda I'll see you in the morning, Goodnight.
Okuda: Goodnight Karma!

Both wave at each other as Karma heads back to the elevator and Okuda opens the door to her room. However, she stands there thinking about something rather than going inside. It was her chance and she knew her heart was telling her to go for it. She drops her bag between the door and runs to Karma as he's entering the elevator not knowing she's heading to him. She speeds up as much as she can before it's too late.
Okuda: Karma!
Karma hears his name called out by her and turns around to see Okuda surprise him with something as the elevator closes. Once inside the elevator, Karma couldn't believe his eyes, Okuda was kissing him on the lips. Caught off by surprise at first Karma didn't know how to react but quickly gained his senses, wrapping his arms around the chemist girl, and kissing her back. Their first kiss that'll be remembered forever, a soft passionate kiss releasing both their feelings for each other. They kept sharing their kiss for a few more seconds before they break apart for air. Karma blushing at what just happens looks over at Okuda who's also blushing deeply by her actions. They look at each other once again as they feel the time around them stop and without a second wasted, they both smile and share another soft, passionate kiss. This is the moment they have been waiting for and it was truly special as keep sharing that special moment until the elevator opens in which Okuda pulls away satisfied and happy before waving at her now boyfriend for the night. Karma waves back at his now girlfriend as the elevator door closes and once he arrives in his room, he sits on the floor thinking about that special moment. But he isn't the only one having trouble sleeping, on the floor above him, Okuda is also on the floor of her room thinking about it and giggling at some points. Eventually, both were able to sleep but that thought wouldn't just leave them alone.
Karma and Okuda: "I love her/him."

The bell has rung and school was officially over for the day. Class 3-E were ready to get back to work, prepare for exams once again, and the most important: Kill Koro-Sensei. However, that wasn't the case for Okuda since all day she's been thinking about last night. She knew for sure it was not a dream: The Hangout, The Comfort, The Gift, and The Kiss. After grabbing her school bag, she heads out as most of the class is already gone except for one person she notices waiting for her. She couldn't help but blush and smile at the same time knowing who was waiting for her. She runs towards him as Karma notices her coming and smiles back at her.
Karma: Did you really think I was going to let you walk home by yourself?
Okuda: No, I knew you were gonna be there waiting for me.
Karma: Ready to get some ice cream together?
Okuda: Mhm! Definitely.
Karma and Okuda head on out while chatting more sharing laughs and smiles all while holding hands together. And until the class finds out, they're gonna enjoy their time together all peaceful and romantic.
Karma: Hey Okuda?
Okuda: Hm?
Karma: I love you.
Okuda: !...Hehe, I love you too Karma.
