A/N: Please note that I will use both Legends and Cannon in this fanfiction. So charchters like Mara Jade and Winter will be in this story.
I've been thinking about writing a story with the Original Trilogy charchters for a while now. And since I'm starting to get into the comics I thought it would be fun. I just started reading the Star Wars comics and the ones I have read so far are Skywalker Strikes and Smugglers on the moon. Volume one and two. And I also just recently got Darth Vader volume 1 and Darth Vader Valume 2. So I might references the comics from then to time. And I highly recommend the comics to for anyone who wants to read them!

Chapter 1: Leia
Leia was sometimes not fond of some senators. Though she does know if she wants to become a Senator of Alderaan she would have to get used to some Senators.
The only good thing about this is that she would see Luke. Luke Amidala was a friend of hers. She knew that he didn't have a lot of friends because he was Darth Vader's son but she saw otherwise. Even her sister Winter was afraid of him at times. Though Leia didn't care. He was kind to her and was a nice boy. She didn't see any reason to dislike him.
Sometimes Leia would wonder why Luke was perfectly fine with Vader. Was Vader even his real father? His last name was Amidala and the only person who Leia could think of had the last name Amidala was Padmé Amidala. The former Queen and Senator of Naboo. Though from what she knew of Padmé Amidala was that she died on the day the Empire was form.
"Leia." She heard a voice as she was taken out of her thoughts.
"Luke, hi." Leia greeted the Imperial Prince.
"Lovely day isn't it?" Luke asked her.
"Yes it is." Leia said.
"Luke!" Leia heard a voice. She turned around and saw Pooja Naberrie, Senator of Naboo come forward.
"Pooja." Luke said with a nod.
"Good to see you again, cusion." Pooja greeted. "I see you and the Princess of Alderaan are hanging out with each other."
"You two are cusion's" Leia asked. She wasn't aware of Luke's family besides from Darth Vader. She thought that they were all dead or something.
"From my mother's side." Luke said. He then turned to Pooja. "But yes we are, hanging out together."
"Very well I suppose I should go." Pooja said. "I just wanted to say hi and to tell mom how you are doing."
"Love you two cus." Luke said as Pooja left him with Leia.
The two of them then decided to go somewhere quiet than the room with the Senators. Surprisingly they found a nice white place outside.
"I'm sorry this comes as a shock to me. It's just that I never knew of your family other than your father." Leia asked Luke.
"Well they simply raised me." Luke said. "It wasn't until years later father found me one day on patrol when Pooja was in a senate meeting. Both me and my Aunt Sola were attending. After a while both Aunt Sola and my father decided it would be best if I spent some time with my father and half of the year with my Aunt."
"Aren't you mad at Vader?" Leia question. "By splitting you up with your family."
"I will be lying to you if I said I wasn't confused and my aunt did raise me ever since my mother died." Luke said. "Then I heard Vader's side of things and his story and I just knew that I had to be with him. So no I'm not mad at him."
"Oh." Leia said. She didn't know much about Vader besides him being the Emperor.
"So can you tell me about your family?" Luke asked.
"Well first off I'm adopted." Leia said. "Though I've always felt that Bail and Breha Organa were family that it never really mattered to me."
"You were adopt?" Luke asked. "I never knew that about you."
"Well it was because my mom couldn't give birth directly. So some time around when the clone wars ended and the empire was formed they took me in." Leia said.
"Do you remember anything about your birth parents?" Luke asked. "I don't want to sound rude or anything."
"No it's fine." Leia said. "I do remember my mother a little. Not my father. My mother was sad but beautiful."
"I'm sorry to hear." Luke said.
"It's ok. My mother died in childbirth." Leia said.
"Same with my mother actually." Luke said.
"I'm sorry." Leia said.
"My father has told me story's about her. Said I had her personality and that's why I'm not like him. Because I'm too kind. I am one of the only people that see good in him. He said that my mother would say something like that. Other than that I look how my father used to look like. Before he got the suit and all." Luke said.
"Should we go back or not?" Leia asked Luke. "I mean Palpatine we'll be doing his big speech any time soon."
"You're probably right." Luke said.
Leia wondered if Luke was a fan of Palpatine or not. His father did work for Palpatine after all but Luke sounded not that fond of him. Making Leia wonder if she should tell him about the secret rebellion. Though she chose not to because she thought that Luke would probably tell Vader.
The walk back wasn't that long. It only took a short walk until they made it back as Palpatine started his speech. Leia saw that Luke went to where Darth Vader was and she shivered at just the thought of Vader. She was fine with Luke and all but just the thought bod Vader will always make her shiver. She wonders how Luke deals with him. Especially live with him.
She turned next to her and saw Winter. Winter smiled at Leia after Palpatine had finished his speech.
"Well Leia we should head home now." Winter said. "I wonder where father went."
"He should be here somewhere." Leia said. She spotted Bail Organa talking to Mon Mothma, one of the leaders in the rebellion. Bail smiled at Leia and Winter.
"Well I have to go, Mon." Bail said.
"I see." Mon said as she acknowledged Leia and Winter's presence. "Have a good evening."
"You two." Bail said. He than turn to Leia and Winter. "Well than, let's go home shall we?"
At that Leia and Winter nodded and they than left.
Leia slowly ate her food at dinner. Winter seemed to be silent while Bail and Berha where talking back and forward.
"Leia I've been talking to your father a lot so how was your day?" Berha asked her.
"It was fine." Leia said.
"I saw you and Luke Amidala together." Bail Organa said. "What was that all about?"
"Nothing." Leia said. "Luke's just a friend."
"Leia you are hanging out with the enemy." Winter said.
"Well Luke is not an enemy." Leia said. "He's nice."
"Well you shouldn't do any funny business." Bail Organa said.
"Oh and why do you care what I do with Luke?" Leia asked.
"Well what Winter said is true." Bail said.
"Well he can't help about who he was born to, Father." Leia said. "Now if you don't mind I'm going to bed."
With that Leia got up and walked to her room and closed the door not wanting to talk to any of them her family for a while.
Later on Leia heard the door knock. "Go away." She said with a huff.
"Leia I want to apologize." She heard her father's voice. She than open the door and nodded.
"What is it?" She asked her father.
"I'm sorry about what I said about you and Luke." Bail said.
"It's fine." Leia said. "Now can you go."
"I just want to give you this." Bail said as he handed her a projector. "Watch this in your most desperate time. In case anything happens."
"Thank you." Leia said.
"Your welcome, Leia." Bail said. He than left the room leaving Leia alone with the projector.
It wouldn't hurt to see what's in it right? Leia wondered. What was even in here. She knew she shouldn't do anything with it right now but she wanted to know.
What could possibly be the harm? Leia wondered as she slowly opened the projector.
"My dearest Leia, I made this for you so that you know the truth in case the worst happens." Bail Organa said "I at least want you to know the truth. The truth about your family. You know how your adopted. Well your birth mother was Senator Amidala. I watch her give birth to you. Along with that Luke Amidala is your brother. Making Darth Vader formerly Anakin Skywalker your father. I wanted to tell you so you can know. Also so you can know why you and Luke Amidala can't do...stuff. I love you Leia and you will always be a princess of Alderaan at heart."
That left Leia shocked. So she and Luke where brother and sister. Did that mean she had the force. She knew that Luke had it as he told her about it before. So does that mean she has it? Why hadn't she known about having the force. Leia also wondered if she should tell Luke about her and him being twins. Leia knew that her and Luke's birthday were on the same day but she didn't think anything of it. She just thought that it was a coincidence. Nothing that is like them being twins or anything.
Whatever Leia decided to do was her choice. And her choice alone.
