Leticia Dracula looked at her self in the mirror, which was situated in the corridor, admiring the maid dress she was wearing, as she smiled and thought, 'At first, I was against the idea of wearing such an outfit…'
She gently lifted her skirt lightly and spun around on the spot like an innocent little girl.
'But I must admit, it has now grown on me.'
She smiled even wider and thought, 'Especially since Izayoi-sama seems to like it.'
Then she felt a flush of embarrassment paint her cheeks red, as she remembered that just a few days ago, she had her lost her first kiss to her Master.
After that day, he had been most open with his teasing, and affection towards her, through compliments and even patting her head, like she was a little girl, all the time leaving her red as a tomato, her only saving grace being the fact that no one was around most of the time, he teased her, and even if someone was around, she was able to control her reactions.
He even kissed her sometimes. Which left he atomic red in the face.
'Is this it is like being in a relationship?'
She was so lost in her thoughts that she did not notice someone had seen her admiring her dress in the mirror.
"Umm.. Leticia, I mean, head maid, what are you doing?"
Leticia froze as she heard the familiar voice of Pest, the Black Percher, enter her ears. Sweat started to form on her face as her ears turned red.
The said demon lord was peeking at her with her head sticking out of the door of her room, blinking in amazement like she had just seen something very unique.
"N-Nothing." She tried to hide her embarrassment.
"Well, it seemed like to me you were preparing yourself to look good for that freak boy." Pest said as a knowing smirk formed on her face.
"EEep." Leticia made a very uncharacteristic sound as her face flushed red, "W-What do mean by th-that?"
It was half true, but there is no way she is going to let Pest find out.
But alas, the damage was already done.
"Well, it seems like I was right after all." Pest smirked even wider. "You are in love with him."
"Where are you getting all this from?" Leticia's face was now surpassing a tomato in redness.
"I heard you trying to convince the bunny that you don't love your 'Master'" the way Pest said 'Master' made her face finally surpass the tomato in red colour.
"At first I thought 'There is no way a millennia old vampire would fall for someone like him.'" If that's even possible the smirk on Pest's face widened even more, "But form both of you interactions in the recent days and you reaction to my light teasing, it would be obvious to anyone now."
Leticia's face was now so red that it felt like all the blood in her body has transferred to her face.
"P-Please, don't tell a-anyone." She begged the Black Percher.
"I won't but everyone in the community probably has an idea already, by now." Percher stated, as she giggled when all the blood now left Leticia's face at that, as the vampire turned pale.
"Why do you care if everyone finds out anyway?" Pest raised an eyebrow, "Do you not like that freak boy."
"That's not it." Leticia quickly responded leveling a glare at Pest, which made even the former demon Lord flinch. "Don't even ever suggest that."
'I need to be careful, if she gets angry I won't be able to take her on as I am right now.' What she was trying to do was to make Leticia realise that there was no need to hide anything from the community, 'But I might have pushed her too far.'
Gulping, Percher gathered her strength and said, "Then what are you afraid of?"
Leticia lost her glare but still frowned and mumbled lightly, but still loud enough for Pest to hear, "I am afraid of how will they react."
Pest sighed, 'So that's it. Geez, for a Vampie, she sure has some low opinion of herself, if she thinks everyone will hate her just for being happy.'
She said, "I don't know your community members as well as you do, but even then I can tell that they will be happy to see you happy. You have nothing to worry about even if they all find out."
At Pest's reassurance, Leticia can't help but smile, "Thank you Pest, and sorry for getting angry at you, when you were just worried about me."
The said former Demon Lord turned her head away to hide her blush of embarrassment, and huffed "Its not like I did it for you or something, I just did it became I didn't want you to be unfocused at you work as a head maid."
Leticia giggled at her response, and before she could tease the Black Percher about it, a familiar voice beat her to it.
"Well, well, it seems like the polka loli Demon Lord has turned tsundere."
"Shut up freak boy." Pest puffed her cheeks as she glared at the new arrival
"Master." Leticia said with a sweet smile.
Izayoi Sakamaki smirked, as he stopped next to Leticia and patted her head, causing the Vampire Lord to blush and Pest to roll her eyes.
"Well if you guys are done talking, go and prepare breakfast, everyone is starving." Izayoi smiled at Leticia and smirked at Pest.
"Ok."
"Tch. Whatever."
Were the responses of Leticia and Pest respectively.
As both maids left for the kitchen to prepare for breakfast, Izayoi smiled softly.
'Its good see Leticia being open with someone aside from myself, even she needs some friend she can talk to after all.' Izayoi thought as he left for the dining table, to wait for the breakfast.
