So this story is a rewrite of a now, deleted fanfiction written originaly by Aaron Kasarion called Power of Chaos in which it shipped Sonic with Lilac, Knuckles with Carol and Milla with Tails. (sorta)
Here's a quick reminder of the chapters from my memories.
Chapter 1: Chaos Control, Sonic and co. end up on earth again after Sonic canalized too much energy for his spindash during a fight with Eggman (The big arms V.2).
Lilac, Carol and Milla were on a picnic at that moment and ended up teleported through a black hole. (Generations style B))
Lilac end up on earth, meet the earthlings that are not too surprised after Sonic appearance seven years ago, quickly meet Rouge's partner on a bench and get knocked out by Sonic, that pick her up and bring her to Chris who grew up to become a scientist, Eggman decide to attack the city and chapter end.
This chapter is the only one that is properly archived on.
Chapter 2: Eggman attack the city with a huge ass Chaos, Sonic and Lilac take it out with electricity I think and they both become hot topic again!
Sonic is back! With his new dragon gf, joke but the fanfiction at the beginning does poke at the idea. have i ever said i love sonic x lilac
Chapter 3:This is a recreation of the Sonic OVA/OAV, adapted to Sonic X cast, Sonic and Lilac is called over to the white house by the president, turns out it was Eggman himself that initiated the call and took hostage the president and co!
He would like to call a deal, he explains that an invention of his, Metal Robotnik took over his base and the deal is that the president is left unharmed if Sonic destroys Metal Robotnik.
Sonic initially refuses before Lilac yell at him for being so full of himself, after some turn around, he agrees. Sorta forced by Lilac.
Going with the Tornado X, after passing by the land of darkness, Sonic and Lilac end up on Tails and Milla, that were just chilling at the beach while eating those berries they found, Tails talk about an emitter that he has that got a signal of distress from Robotnik that prooves that, there was a part of right in Eggman's saying.
Chapter 4: After a bit of a trip, they end up at Robotnik Land, deserted by everyone, leaving only electricity running through wires. The group eventually encounter Metal Robotnik that woop their ass like in the OVA. Carol and Knuckles turns up later when Sonic is stuck to a pole high in the sky and get Metal Robotnik before daytime.
Chapter 5: Metal Sonic, the group heads to the old facility Robotnik was working in to check up on his further plans. Sonic get suddenly trapped, as he gets scanned and tested, the thing ends up exploding, leaving the hedgehog behind to face off against their new foe, Metal Sonic.
Sonic eventually gets knocked out and taken away by Metal Sonic to the dismay of Lilac, the fight continues on a mountain and ends as Sonic get knocked off.
Chapter 6: Were coming to the end of the OVA arc
Chapter 7: Sonic lost his memory, he accidentaly hit his head after coming in Lilac room while she was changing by knocking something over.
The rest is Lilac and Sonic, going to places and remniscing memories they made or of his past.
Chapter 8: The obligatory beach episode. After Sonic and co. has been reunited after the fight agaisnt Metal Robotnik, Chris decides with his old man that a well rested trip is deserved, and they decide to go to the beach.
Sonic at first is against the idea of the beach due to him being scared of the water, but they forcefully take him leaving him no real choice.
They reserved a hotel for the day and get to spend the day on a private beach, they play some volleyball and after the Sonic team wins, Lilac remember she forgot something (a bag i think) in her room and go pick it up, before remembering the key to their room is at the beach, meanwhile, Eggman attacked the group with a robot that ressemble a tank and as Sonic landed the final strike, the blow of the explosion send him flying very far away to the ocean. When Lilac notices it, she goes to his rescue as he was drowning, he gets brung up back to the beach unconscious and manage to get saved as everybody thought it was over.
The beach never again.
A bonus chapter: The sleepover, a minor chapter, all I can say for sure is more minor shipping tension between Sonic and Lilac, and Carol makes Knuckles kiss a fish in a spin the bottle.
Chapter 9: The date between Sonic and Lilac Amy. This chapter is more or less archived by the creator himself, you can go check that version out.
Chapter 10: The mountain trip, Sonic and friends go to the mountain in a camping car to change their minds, and as Lilac feels flustered to be in a relationship with the hedgehog, everything gets in her way to tell Sonic her feelings, in the end, at Badnick attack the group and Sonic unwillingly hurts Lilac, he leave off to his side as Lilac regained consciousness, she find him sitted on a tree, feeling a bit low and yell at him for not being up to the challenge without knowing what happened.
When she hears why Sonic feels so low, she goes to find him again, despite the snow storm breaking out, they both eventually find each other in a cave where they both spend the night.
Chapter 11: Revenge of Metallix, is a chapter that is also archived and compiled entirely, the only thing missing is the ending.
Now you got catched up on this abomination of a fanfiction timeline, I can start...
Reminder: This is a rewrite of Power of Chaos, a remake if you will. I will take liberty over the original piece of work so please, this is not the same story in it's entirety, it's a new piece. Thanks for your understanding.
Chapter 1: Beginning, power of chaos!?
In a nice dim valley, on a planet named Avalice, three young girls were preparing their camping equipments for tonight.
The first one was a purple dragon named Lilac, she's a fast fighter that is mostly notorious for having held off against a galactic emperor named Brevon some months ago.
The second one was a stray green cat with black stripes named Carol, she participated in the battle against Brevon and is Lilac's best friend, they both take care of their last friend, Milla, a beige dog that got abandonned by her parents, also she has the power to produce some blocks.
The three were settling to go camping in the woods and watch some of the falling stars if there was any.
"Milla! please be careful!" said Lilac worringly.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine!" Milla replied.
"Mmh..." Carol said, with a choice in front of her, the marshmallows or the chocolate marshmallows. A very important deal indeed.
After a lot of thinking, she decided to just take both, "Enough room in the bag!" she thought as she were walking outside to see Lilac watching with a worried frown Milla.
"Carol! Good timing, mind accompagning Milla to find some wood?" Lilac turned and asked as Carol was trying to get away sneakily. "No problem on that." she said with the marshmallows bags in hand.
"Also drop the marshmallows."
"Aw..." The stray cat thought as she did and went after Milla.
Carol came in shortly after Milla and found the young puppy picking stuff on the ground, rock, sticks, anything it seems. "Hey Milla!"
"Oh hey Carol, I'm picking up Wood because Lilac asked for it." The dog greeted, "She did?" Carol asked surprised, "Nah I overheard you asking to go find some."
Meanwhile, on an another planet.
"Gnngh.." Grunted a man that was currently in an... Egg mobile.
"Hey Eggman! Isn't that thing a bit 'has been' now?" Called out a blue hedgehog with red sneakers, that hedgehog is Sonic, super speedy and energetic.
The other man that just got nicknamed "Eggman" is the low and behold, famous three hundred IQ scientist, Doctor Robotnik. A mad lad that want to take over Mobius and other to fullfil his dream of making RobotnikLand!
For now, we are very far from having that happen. Atleast in bigger sizes.
Right now, the blue hedgehog is having a fight with the Eggman! In a pretty updated but 'has been' robot, the Big Arms V2.
"Hah, too easy!" Sonic smirked as Eggman crashed into a wall, "Don't get too cocky Sonic!" retorted the scientist as he spinned his machine in circle with his arms side to side, delivering a powerful blow to the hedgehog.
He fell to the ground, rolling in a ball for a sec as he ache in pain. "Ack, huff you'll pay for that!" the hedgehog said between coughs.
He started spinning in place, performing a move that is iconic to the character, the spin dash.
Eggman cracked a laugh "Hahah! You're efforts are pointless, there is no way you will manage to take out my robot with such a simple old mov-No!" he ended as he got struck by the blue hedgehog. "Not acting so cocky now Eggman?"
"Ah, that was barely a scratch!" Eggman answered back, despite his machine looking like a dumpster fire.
"A scratch hey?" Sonic asked, feeling this was a challenge. He performed the spindash again but loaded up more energy then usual, spinning longer and faster
"W-What are you doing Sonic!? You're going to blow everything at this rate!" The scientist screamed out panicked, Sonic was canalizing too much power due to his spindash, he started glowing to a strange shade of blue as the chaos emeralds started to glow around him.
"Oh my god-!" as the place get filled with light, the only thing most could do was watch as the emaning fog took them away, far far away.
Back to Avalice, we go back to the girls setting up their camp, Milla ran back to the camping site with a bunch of wood in her hand while Carol is listening to her music.
As the puppy was running back to the camp, a strange light seemed to come from somewhere on her left, a strange white light... Was there a lamp around here?
"Carol, hey Carol come check this out!" Carol was way too busy with her music to hear the puppy that outrunned her, the only thing the dog could do, was either leave it or approach it.
But nevermind that, since suddenly, it seemed like it grew size!
"Aah! Carol!"
The white light glowed through the trees as Carol and the others got struck by this sudden change of brightness.
As Lilac was setting up the wood to light into flames, the white light struck her by surprise as everything turned to white and vanished from her field of view...
...
"What?" was the first thing that came out of the hedgehog mouth as everything seemed to have dissapeared around him.
"Oh gosh, have I iniated a chaos control by accident again?" wondered Sonic as the black fog surrounding started to dissipate to reveal a beach.
There was some humans laying on the beach under their parasol, the sun was shining bright despite the few clouds in the sky. "Hey mom look, it's Sonic!" at this remark, some humans turned to the blue hedgehog who looked lost, "Hey it's Sonic!" "He looks lost, is he okay?" marmonned some of them. "Seems I got teleported back to that world, gotta pay a little visit to someone then!" the hegehog took off at high velocity, off to the city!
Meanwhile
"Agh! Stupid robots, put some spirit into it!" "But you never programmed us to have a spirit-Ow!" argued the yellow golden robot before getting banged on the head. "Fools! I programmed you to have a conscience, do you realize that!?" said the man in red and black as he was ordering two robots of his crew to lift his Egg-mobile.
Further away...
In the hazy forest, a purple dragon was sleeping on the wet ground, birds were singing and the sun was shining bright through the leaves.
A leaves fell on her, tickling her a bit, "Achoo!".
Lilac stood up while scrubbing her nose, she hardly could open her eyes due to the sudden light that took her in a flash but with some time, she managed to open both of them. She noticed she seems to be in a forest but not her kind... It was more brown then purple and everything seemed the same apart of some little differences.
"W-where am I!?" she asked to herself in panic, she was lost, lost in an unfamiliar place, very far away of wherever she was.
"...I should get something, some food and a place to stay. With a bit of hope some friendly folks will find me here?" she took off to find something to eat and some wood to warm herself since it's chilly around here...
Back to our hedgehog, on his way to the city, he realized something mid-route is that he was lost, or atleast, he bypassed lots of little towns, "Well this ain't my day, I get lost in this world again and plus I end up at the most random of all places. Signs don't really help around here." said the blue hedgehog, as he bypassed another little town, he stopped to ask some of the town folks directions. He stopped next to a grocery store before getting noticed by some people "Oh woah, it's Sonic!" pointed out a villager, "Hello, excuse me to bother but do you have any idea where is the city, where's Chris Thorndyke lived?" asked the blue hedgehog, "Holy crap it's Sonic! Ah the city? Uh, well it's a bit far from here but go through the forest of Belmont, pass through the tunnel that goes through a mountain and after some miles, you should get a glimpse of the city." informed one of the villagers.
"Thanks!" "Wait! Would you like some food before going?" Proposed a mam that barged in from the store, handing out a pack of chips. "Ah, you're so kind!" thanked the hedgehog grabbing the bag. As he opened it and took some into his mouth, some people gathered around him, asking him various questions "How did you get here?" "What is your world like?" "How do you go so fast?", Sonic answered to most of time while eating his bag of chips "Well, I spindashed very quick with a chaos emerald somewhere near and I got teleported back! Uh it's the same really and I have super shoes!" he winked for the last answer.
Sonic came over to his last chip, as the bag was empty, someone took it from him and threw it in the trash, "Ah thank you...? the person seemed familiar to Sonic but he could hardly put his finger on it, it was a young adult with peach skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. "Hello Sonic." "Hellen?" the blue hedgehog was astoundished by the appearance of his friend, she welcomed him with a warm hug "I'm glad to see you again Sonic." "I'm glad to see you too."
The crowd observing the scene awwed to the wholesome scene, "Sorry cut it short, but I should get going. I'll check up on you later!" apologized the blue hedgehog but he was in a hurry, "Of course Sonic, gotta go fast heh?" joked Hellen as Sonic took off quickly to the Belmont woods.
Sonic was coming rapidly to the Belmont Woods, by passing lot of trees and ditch until suddenly, he saw a purple blur coming rapidly towards him!
"Gah-!" was the only thing he spitted out before tripping over this ominous blur. A voice could be heard during his fall, a sudden "Aïe!" was emitted.
The hedgehog was suddenly confused, did he stumble upon someone? Hope he isn't hurt.
Sonic receptioned his fall, standing on his two feet as he slid on the ground. As for the purple blur, nothing more to say, she mostly stayed on the floor, slightly knocked over.
He approached her, asking with worried tone, "Hey! Are you okay there?" after a little while, he finally got an answer. "Yes.. I'm fine."
"Ah, sorry about that. I was in a hurry and I didn't notice you soon enough. Yeah... Sorry about that." Sonic once again apologized, rubbing his head.
The blue blur lended out a hand to the other, presenting himself. "I'm Sonic, Sonic the hedgehog! And you are?"
Sonic started to notice some detail on that person, she seemed to have horns and scales around her. Kind of like a dragon.. The blue clothing she wore, a bit brown due to the mud.
The purple dragon stood up, accepting the offer of the hedgehog. "I'm Lilac. Lilac the... Well nevermind."
An awkward silence was settling between the two, just looking at each other, "Um, say were you lost?" asked the blue blur.
"Um- what makes you say that?" retorted the dragon, "The mud and you laying on the ground when stumbled up on you makes me say that." he answered with an amused look.
"Ah yeah, I'm not really from your world you see?" "I see!" he exclaimed "So you also got brought up by that chaos control!"
The purple dragon was confused but slightly relieved, guess the first person she stumble upon is in the same situation, in some way. "Chaos control" she asks, "It's gonna take a while to explain, I'll do it later. Oh say, need a ride? I'm going to go check up on an old friend that is fine with us Mobius."
"Mobius? I'm from Avalice." Lilac said as the blue blur got a slightly confused look on his face. "Ah, oh well. I'll see you later!" Sonic said as he started dashing to Chris's place again.
"Wait!" the hedgehog stopped dead in his track again and looked back to Lilac, "What's up?" "... I'm interested in this ride."
Back to Eggman, he was preparing his next biggest plan, even more big then any other plan he done before.
A massive flow of water was canalizing from the sewers that he was in, unlike before. The chaos emerald were in his possesion, and as massive pond of water, he could only scream "Rise up Chaos! We have a world to conquer, yet again!"
Sonic was heading to Chris's house with Lilac in his arms, bypassing any car or bystander on his path in a blue trail.
As he approached the mansion of the Thorndykes. A young boy named Chris Thorndyke, Sonic's friend that saved him from mere drowning long ago.
"Hah, I missed this house." Sonic commented as he jumped over the fence.
"Hm.. Mister Sonic!?" the butler gasped, shocked to see Sonic again. "Who is that in your arms?"
"No time to explain, she's injured and in a dire need of cleaning!" Lilac was mostly tired and very dirty, the butler, seeing the dragon's conditions, lead them together inside the mansion without another word.
Sonic dashed inside the mansion to Chris's room, or atleast older. As he opened it, he got greeted to an empty room, voided of posters and or any furnitures.
"Oh my, that's quite the surprise." Greeted a man, behind him. He found a young man with brown-orange hair dressed in a lab coat, slightly dirty.
"Who... Who are you?" asked Sonic, surprised. The man letted out a chuckle before answering "Don't you recognize me? It was weird seeing you in the theater but I can definitly say, you looked similar."
"What are you babbling about?" asked Sonic slightly disturbed, "You don't know me? Guess!"
Sonic paused for a thought, last time he saw Chris was about 3 months ago. "Sorry, I give up!"
"Come on, it's me.. Chris!" the young man announced, Sonic's eyes went wide when seeing the younger boy, growned up. 'Of course.. I did see Hellen after all.'
"Chris! You've grown up, I didn't recognize you!" Exclaimed Sonic, "Well time goes faster in the human world." Noted Chris, "But anyhow, what happened? Chaos control again?"
"You read me like an open book." pointed out Sonic. "Oh also, who is this? Your girlfriend?" Chris asked, pointing to Lilac. "Someone in need of help! Her name is Lilac!... Lilac?
Guess she fell asleep huh."
"Or fell unconscious from your speed." joked Chris.
They both went to the living room and placed her on the couch, her head rested on an nearby pillow.
Sonic and Chris caught up on old time, Chris became a famous scientist, inspired by his grandfather and insisted by Tails. His grandfather, Chuck, passed away some time ago due to age, Chris learned a lot from him and decided to continue his legacy as a scientist.
Meanwhile, in a forest... Milla woke up from her slumber, "Lilac... Carol... Somebody, help!"
"Hello" a huge cat greeted her. He seemed to be fishing with his frog beside him. "Ah! Um, hello?" the puppy answered as she backed a bit.
"My name is Big! But everybody call me Big, this is froggy." He said as he pointed to his frog.
"Hi... My name is Milla. Well... Can you please help me, where am I and where do I go." asked the puppy, Big just took off his fishing pole of the water and pointed to a nearby city.
"Thank you Mister Cat!" before leaving, flying toward the city thanks to her ears.
"Bye bye!" the cat waved goodbyes. "I hope I see Carol and Lilac again."
"Mmh... What happened again...?"
"Ah, you're finally awakened." the young speedy hedgehog exclaimed as the lilac dragon woke up, "As we were on our way to my friend's house, you passed out in my arms. Heheh.." he snigged, finishing his sentence. Chris was coming into the room when he heard the other girl woke up, Sonic noticed Chris stepping in, "Also this is the friend I was talking about, Chris!"
Chris casually waved toward the resting dragon.
Lilac looked around the room for a slight minute, still dazed with vague memories of what happened, she was in a living room, rested on a couch, the first thing that surprised her was the fact that the couch didn't have an ounce of dirty, nor ripped, it was a very clean, new couch.
The living room itself had a TV, some paintings on the walls and multiple windows, it was pretty cozy around here.
"Hi, I'm Chris, a human. I don't know if you have those in your world." Chris introduced himself, a bit shy. "We don't, and I'm Lilac, a water dragon." Lilac did the same.
"Water!?" Sonic spat out, shocked. "Y-yeah?" Lilac answered back, confused. "Heh, well don't mind him, Sonic is very scared of water." he informed her indifferent.
"Anyway, I know Sonic for a long time, I saved him from drowning when I was just a child. I met his other friends too, they stayed at my house until they could go back home again. We had to gather the seven chaos emeralds, and well the chaos emeralds are like gem stones that contains an immense power that are from Sonic's world.
I'm a scientist, my grandfather was a scientist too and he helped us in finding the emeralds and getting Sonic back to his planet. Well..." Chris noticed that the dragon looked at him, drooling a little with tired eyes.
"Chris, you bombarded her with your exposition." Sonic pointed out jokingly as Chris was rubbing the back of his neck, "Heheh yeah, it's kind of weird when I say it like this."
"Well, I come from Avalice. It's like a country that also has buildings. We got warped by some sort of white fog that hit us, I don't know where my friends are but knowing that someone else is and has experienced the same situation before reassure me..." Lilac said in a sad tone.
"Hey! No worries, I'm sure your friends are okay." Sonic reassured her, unsure of who they are but he was sure they'll be fine.
Then suddenly...
"Chris! Change to the news, Eggman is back!" Ella barged in through the outside door, not noticing Sonic in the instance.
"Eggman!?" Sonic and Chris shouted in unison. "Eggman...?" Lilac whispered to herself.

Not gonna lie, this took a chunk of time to be written, mostly because I didn't knew where to end, I thought originally of stopping when Sonic and Lilac goes to the city but I thought it'd be cooler to introduce Chris and end on a cliffhanger. (with a cameo of Ella)
I now have some idea of how to do the next chapter, originally it was just electricity shenanigans and boom, boss over but I have another idea, a mix of the two but a new idea.
