Hey, y'all! Welcome to the one shot book! For those that don't know (or just want to be reminded), this book is going to be full of disconnected one shots that I consider to be canonical in my fics (The Don't Die Series). All of these little one shots were things that I would have LOVED to put directly into the fics, but they just didn't fit in with the story at the time or didn't fit with the plot or whatever. Most of them are fluffy and/or smutty lol. Writing these one shots is going to serve as my reprieve from all the angst and stress of the actual fics lol. But, like I said, I consider all of these things to have actually happened, they just didn't make it into the fics! The one shots will be coming from all over the timeline. They could take place during Don't Die, Stay Alive, etc. But, I'll always put a little blurb at the beginning of the one shots that tells you when it takes place (ex. This one shot takes place during Don't Die about two weeks after Aubrey and Levi move in together). That sort of thing. Just so y'all can visualize it 3 Most of the one shot titles should be pretty self-explanatory, but I'll still put a sentence or two of a description as well as the genre (fluff/smut/angst) just so everyone knows.
As always, I'll include any warnings as needed. And, again, as always, PLEASE take care of yourself first! If anything makes you uncomfortable, PLEASE stop reading and focus on your own well-being! These one shots will contain sexual content, swearing, blood, and, since some of these pieces take place during the Don't Die era, an underage relationship. If any of these things make you uncomfortable or upset, I would encourage you to simply move on. Including things like underage relationships and violence in my fics DOES NOT MEAN I APPROVE OF THEM IN REAL LIFE. This is a fictional universe and these characters are not real people, so please respect this writing for what it is… writing. It's fictional and if a topic makes you uncomfortable, I would appreciate it if you would take care of yourself and stop reading!
This leads me to my final note. PLEASE BE NICE. I constantly ask for comments and I do love almost every single one of them. However, I do get the occasional hate comment. This is a case where I firmly believe in the "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all" concept. If you don't like my stories or my characters, you are free to stop reading at any point without leaving a comment that may hurt my feelings! And, for me, this also extends to what could be called "constructive criticism". I would love to say that I'm willing to take criticism, but I'm quite the perfectionist in real life and any form of criticism tends to hurt. Writing these fics is a way for me to simply relax and enjoy and create a work that I can celebrate and appreciate with other people. I would very much like for this to be a STRESS-FREE ZONE. So, only nice comments, please! Obviously, like 99% of you are absolute angels and I love you! But, I wanted to include this part (though I'm not sure it would actually stop anyone who's actually looking to leave a hate comment lol) just in case.
