AU Goku and Gohan Vs Kefla

The Grand Zenos the 2 omnipotent Gods of all twelve universes grew bored of the games they played, so they decided to have seven of the universes gather 10 warriors and fight for their survival in a 48-minute all-out battle royal. After a while Goku confronted Jiren the strongest warrior in the tournament. Goku obtained the divine power known as Ultra instinct, even still with this new power Goku was met with defeat, exhausted and almost all is power gone Goku was confronted by Caulifla and Kale, 2 saiyans from universe 6 and engaged in battle. As the battle went on Goku's strength was slowly coming back, and he had the girls on the ropes until they used their last-ditch effort and used potara earrings, and fused into Kefla. The fight continues now.

The Arena was filled with a bright white light, the Zenos were full of excitement as another unexpected event has occurred in the tournament. As the light began to fade, Goku looked back into the light and saw that the two girls were no longer there, he saw one female body. Goku was in shock after laying his eyes on the earrings this new girl wore. "No way, are those? Hey just who are you" The new girl turned to confront her opponent, "We are Kale and Cauilfla merged into one body, so I guess that makes me Kefla" Kefla took a moment and gave a glimpse of her new power. "Wow this power, it's really something else it feels like it's endless!" Goku was shocked by Kefla's massive power, she seemed to surpass his current power in the Super Saiyan God state. Kefla wasted no time she made a dash for Goku and made her way behind him, and delivered a quick left hook punch sending Goku flying. Kefla gave chase and followed up with another hard left hook punch launching him further. Goku quickly rebounded and made his way back to Kefla. "Hungry for more? Well come and get it!" the saiyans clash was intense enough to cause everyone in the arena to come to a standstill and awe at the power being displayed. Kefla kept Goku on the defensive and was hammering away at Goku with rapid jabs, and knocked him off his feet. "What happened Goku? Where's all that spunk you had earlier?" Kefla asked as she gabbed Goku by his legs. She began to start spinning but before she could throw Goku, he shifted his weight caused Kefla to lose her balance and flip over face first in the ground. Free from her grasp Goku gained some distance, he had to rethink his whole strategy if he was to beat a foe stronger than him. As Kefla was getting up she brushed the dirt off of herself and noticed Goku used his time to transform Into a Super Saiyan Blue. "So, you finally decided to stop holding back Huh? Ready to fight for real now?" "I was hoping to save my power for later but if I continue to hold back now, I'll be eliminated for sure." Kefla felt insulted that Goku was holding back, so she responds in kind, "Now then let's see what happens when I start to try too!" Kefla's power exploded once more as she turned into a Super Saiyan. "Now we can continue this fight with no regrets" "I have to admit Kefla I'm impressed you and I seem pretty close in power, my Saiyan blood is starting to get warm, I'm getting really excited"

Meanwhile Goku's son Gohan was aiding Piccolo in a fight with universe 6's namekian warriors Saonel and Pilina. Both Gohan and Piccolo managed to gain breathing room after delivering a coronated attack. "Piccolo you felt that massive power too, right?' "From what the gods have been saying, those saiyans from universe 6 your father is fighting fused with those potara earrings" Gohan was just more worried after hearing that, not long after Saonel and Pilina found them again. "Go, go help you father." "But I can't leave you to fight a 2 against 1 Piccolo." "Don't worry about me, if we lose your father this early on in the fight we're done for, I'll lure these guys towards Android 17 I'll get his help." Piccolo took off fighting his way towards android 17, Saonel and Pilina followed in pursuit. "Alright hold on Dad I'm on my way." Gohan made a mad dash to get to his father trying to avoid any further fights until he reached Goku.

Goku and Kefla were clashing blow after blow their level of power were nearly identical, but Goku was still in a fatigued state from fighting Jiren earlier, and was being pushed into a corner. Kefla delivered a hard jab in Goku's jaw, and a side Kick into his gut sending him flying into some of the debris. Goku was having a hard time recovering from that. Kefla jumped and mounted herself on top of a rock. "Looks like you lost your edge Goku, you know what that means," Kefla said with confidence. Her Ki began to sky rocket again and a green aura surrounded her, "It's been fun, but know you'll get to see me win this thing from the bleachers!" Kefla lunged herself at Goku preparing to deliver the final punch, Goku braced himself. However, Kefla was intercepted as Someone delivered series of rapid kicks to her whole body and a final kick to her face sending her flying in to rubble. Goku looked up to see his savor was his own son, Gohan.

"Gohan? But I thought you were with Piccolo." Goku said with a shocked face. "Piccolo is teaming up with Android 17, I came here to back you up." Gohan said as he turned to his father and smiled. Goku gave a big smile in return and powered back down to his base state. "Man, she really wiped to floor with me I'm beat." Goku struggled to say. Just then a big green burst of energy blew the rubble away and Kefla lunged back to Goku and Gohan and leered at Gohan. "Hey you bastard this fight is between me and Goku stay out of it" Kefla shouted. Gohan turned to face her, "Sorry but you're fighting me now, I won't let you touch my father again." Gohan said with sternness in his voice. "Gohan, she's just as powerful as a Super Saiyan Blue, you sure you can handle this?" Goku asked. Gohan remained motionless and said "I'll buy you as much time to recover as I can afterwards you and me will finish this fight together as a team." Gohan turned back to give his dad a thumbs up. Goku returned in kind and gave a thumbs up to his son, "Go for it Gohan I know you got this." Goku then took off into hiding to recover his strength. Kefla started to give chase, but was intercepted by Gohan as he sent her flying back to the ground with a double axe handle. "Like I said, you're fighting me now." Kefla got back up and wiped off some blood from her lip. "Well, if you're his son then I suppose you're just as much fun as he was, so let's get started go on and transform." Gohan gave Kefla. A little chuckle, "Transform? I don't need to do that this power alone is enough for me." Kefla was shocked and insulted, "you know you and your father really know how to piss me off," Kefla charged towards Gohan, Gohan did the same as their arms clashed together, a powerful breeze was carried throughout the whole arena. The two Saiyans wasted no time and they both started exchanging blows.

Goku got to a higher elevation away from most other fights, and began to watch the fight between Gohan and Kefla unfold. Gohan was being put on the defensive, he wasn't able to get many attacks in at Kefla. "What's wrong is this all ya got, and you call yourself the son of Goku?" Gohan grew angry at that remark, then he saw his opening. "I bet that old geezer is disappointed in having a wimp like you for a S-" Kefla was cut off as Gohan delivered a hard Punch to her gut, Gohan Followed it up with a hard Uppercut to the bottom of her chin, knocking her off her feet. Taking full advantage of this opportunity Gohan Followed Kefla up in the air and proceeded to unleash a series Hard hitting blows, he sent her flying again and knocked her back down with a back fist. As Kefla got back up she gave a good laugh, "Looks like I struck a nerve, good maybe now you'll actually fight back more." Gohan put one hand over the other lifted them over his head as a bright light started to form over it. "Masenko!" A big yellow beam shot from his hands as he whipped them back down in front of him. Kefla looked to be caught in the blast but as the dust settles, she's nowhere to be found. "Eyes on me pretty boy." Kefla said as she delivered her elbow into Gohan's back she followed up with a sweep kick knocking Gohan off his feet and knocked up high in the air with an uppercut, "This one will definitely hurt" Kefla said as she formed 5 red balls of Ki in each and threw them towards Gohan. Gohan fell from the black cloud of smoke, but rebounded and landed back on his feet. Kefla Stood there with a smirk on her face chuckling, "Maybe you'll stop underestimating me now, and take this more seriously." Gohan started stretching out his body as he said "you thought I was trying? I'm nowhere near serious yet." Kefla's look of disbelief, turned back into a cocky smile, "Good cause this is far from what I can really do too." Gohan then made another quick approach on Kefla she was shocked at his speed, it was nearly as good as hers, Gohan threw out a punch but Kefla being quick on her feet flipped herself over in a hand stand and locked Gohan's arm with her legs and flung him back, she got back her feet and jumped back in a back flip and slammed him down to the ground standing on his chest. Gohan knew he was in trouble but he was impressed by her skills and quick thinking. "I have to admit Kefla you're really good," Kefla looked down to him with a smile on her face "Don't go trying to flatter me tough guy, flattery will get you nowhere," Gohan took this opportunity and grabbed her ankles, Gohan swept her off her feet and started swinging her around after he released his grip and sent her flying Gohan fired another power full Maskeno making sure this one connected this time. Kefla got back up a shook it off like it was nothing, "Say you're pretty good you're self, I like you, it's a shame we had to fight under these conditions though." Gohan was a little shocked that she was being modest but Gohan respected it too," yeah I have to say this is the most fun I've had in a while, you're quite the pair of warriors you two." Gohan had to be more careful, if he's not more careful he'll be knocked out for sure he needed a strategy and time to think. Just then Kefla made her way towards Gohan again at high speed and was ready for attack. However, before either one of them could react, Kefla's chest was meat with a pair of fingers. Gohan was Shocked when he finally saw who was Infront of him, and so was Kefla. It's was Goku and he was back in in his Super Saiyan Blue state and without hesitation Goku's fingers were balled up in a fist and hit Kefla's chest hard. Kefla was sent through rock after rock and ended up buried under more rubble. "That should leave her winded for a while, so let's use this time wisely Gohan." Goku told his son. Gohan finally shook off the shock "Dad how are you feeling?" Gohan asked with concern in his voice. "I'm doing fine son, but right now there's something I gotta say to you." Gohan looked towards his father with a confused look, before he could ask Goku stared up again. "Since the universe is on the line this might be the last opportunity I have to say this," Goku said with a grim looks in his eyes, "Dad what are you-" before Gohan could Finish, Goku stated up again "I'm sorry that I wasn't a better Father to you," Gohan's confused look turned into Shocked, Goku went on "I've died in a selfish act against Raditz, and spent year in the other world, then when I come back I only see you briefly, then you got sent off into space and I almost let you die countless times on Namek." Gohan stared to notice tears forming in his father's eyes, "Dad stop you don't have t- "but Goku couldn't hear his sons' words he kept going on, "I spent a year in space, and was on my death bed making you and Chichi worry about me, even when we spent the year in the time chamber all I cared about was making you stronger than me, then I went and died again anyways, and miss out on the rest of your child hood." Tears kept flowing from Goku's eyes and wouldn't stop, Gohan then pull his father in for an embrace, "Wipe away those tears dad, I don't know what made you think any of this but you're far from a bad father." Goku was about to cut in again but Gohan continued, "Most fathers would die for their kids anytime, you did it twice and came back ready to do it again a 3rd time, if need be, if it weren't for you dad, I wouldn't be the man I am today, I've always been proud dad, and I always will be, I'm proud to be Son Gohan son of Son Goku." Goku was left utterly speechless, the only thing he could do was return the embrace his son had him in. "Thank you Gohan and I'm Proud to have you and Goten has my sons, no dragon in the whole multiverse could give me a better pair of sons."

The moment was again interrupted by Kefla who managed to dig herself out of the rubble, she started to make her way back to The Son family, Goku and Gohan broke their embrace, and stood tall ready to confront Kefla. "So, you decided you both want a piece of me, well fine I'll take you both on and send you right to the bleachers!"Kefla shouted. Kefla started walking towards the Duo, "So Gohan did find any kind of weakness on her at all?" Gohan looked back on his fight and gave it hard thought, "She prefers close combat opposed to using energy, she saves her energy moves as finishers, so my suggested plan is to attack as group, hit hard, and move fast, she can't keep up with both of us." Goku turned to Gohan and nodded as they both got into their fighting stance, they both made their move and went on the offensive. They closed the gap between them and Kefla quickly, Kefla braced herself for an attack, However Goku and Gohan split up and vanished from Kefla's sight, Goku and Gohan made constant quick attacks on Kefla then retreating away to wear her out. Kefla let out a big roar and burst of energy that caused a shockwave that caused Goku and Gohan to lose their momentum. Kefla took this opportunity and conjured up ten more Balls of red ki in her hands and threw them out, Goku having no time to react got hit by five of the blast, Gohan being quicker to recover started running and jumping off of the rocks and rubble around him to try and shake the ki blast. "Ha, try to run all you like they'll catch you eventually." Suddenly out of know where, Kefla was caught and grabbed by Goku in a bearhug, "What the? Where the he'll do you come from? I saw you get blown up." Goku chuckled as he replied, "Instant transmission, if you weren't so caught up in bragging, you would've seen me coming." Kefla gave Goku a glare and a growl, then returned her concentration on getting out of Goku's grip. She tried to move his arms with her hands, however her arm movement was next to none, she then tried struggling to try and shake Goku off, but to no avail. Gohan caught sight of the hold his father caught her in and seized the opportunity, and rushed towards Kefla and Goku. Kefla saw Gohan rushing in and tried even harder to break free. Gohan landed right in Kefla's face and gave her a cocky smirk and leapt straight up in the air. Goku then released his grip and kicked Kefla straight into her own ki blast, Goku quickly followed in pursuit and fired a Kamehameha into the cloud of smoke and sent Kefla flying back to the ground.

Goku and Gohan regrouped, as Kefla stood up she was growing angrier, "No, No, No!" Kefla roared out. "I'm not losing not to you two, if we lose now, even after we fused then it's game over!" Gohan started to get irritated, "Is that what all this is to you? One big game?" Kefla gave Gohan a confused look as he continued. "This is no game Kefla, this is survival, my father and I Have family back home and their very existence is on the line too, if we lose, they'll be gone too, we're prepared to do whatever it takes to win even if it means fighting dirty." Kefla's confused look turned into anger once again. "You think I don't know that? Why do you think we fused huh?" Gohan was taken back a little. "We fused because we got a lot back on Sadala that means a lot to us too, our gang, our friends, my brother, all of them, Sadala is counting on us to win for their survival too ya know." Gohan sank his head a little and felt guilt about assuming that she had no one to save either. "I'm sorry, I wish both of our loved ones could survive today, but we're not letting you win, For Videl, and Pan, Gohan said as a bright white aura burst around him. Goku stepped up, "For Chichi and Goten,' a blue aura burst around him as well. Kefla Stood up straight with determination in her eyes, "For Sadala," Kefla then transformed into a Super Saiyan 2, the three Saiyan warriors took their stances and stared each other down waiting for the first move. Kefla took a big leap back and landed on higher ground, "since you two are so insistent on fighting together, I'll blast a whole through the ring with you two with it!" Kefla then started to charge up power a bright red and green light showered the whole arena with its light. Goku and Gohan stood there unmoved by Kefla's threat, "This is it Dad, this fight ends now," Goku turned and nodded, "it's either her or us now." Goku and Gohan stood apart that their bodies now facing each other, they cupped their hands together and began to charge up the most powerful Kamehameha they could to counter Kefla's blast. Goku and Gohan said in unison "Ka-Me-Ha-Me," a bright blue light also lit up the arena. The bright red and green lights disappeared and the energy formed two big red and green discs, she pulled her hands back and fired the blast. Goku and Gohan then responded in kind, "HA!" A blue beam fired from the duo's hands, as the beams clashed every fighter in the arena froze and marveled at the display of power, even the mighty Jiren woke from his meditation, due to the display of power. The clash went on, all 3 fighters were filled adrenaline, and their minds could only think about what happens if they lose. "Don't worry guys, I didn't forget our promise, I won't lose this tournament, we won't lose," Kefla's mind raced and filled with images of her loved ones. Gohan's mind was only filled with images of Pan and Videl, "I promised to protect you both, and I will I won't lose you two," Goku's mind filled with images of Chichi and Goten as well as many other friends from his youth, "I won't let everyone down, I've protected you all so many times, this time won't change." Kefla's Blast was starting to push forward, Goku and Gohan were losing ground as the started to feel the ground beneath them get weaker. "Gohan you're still holding back, I know you're more powerful than this, remember all that were fighting for, let them be your power," as Gohan struggled to gain more power, everything suddenly went quiet, "I know you can do this Gohan" Gohan was shocked he heard Videl's voice, then he suddenly heard a soft giggle of a baby, calling out to her father. Hearing The voices of his family, Gohan found new strength, and poured even more power into the blast. The clash started to lean more in their favor as Kefla was starting to panic. "No way, how can they still have this much power?" Kefla tried to put more into the blast but just couldn't muster up more power, as the Kamehameha made its way towards her, Kefla finally started to accept defeat. "So, this is it huh, the end of the road, these guys really are something else." The blast broke the ground beneath her and she is met by the receiving end of the blast, "even though I had more power than them I still lost, guess this is just fate, farewell guys, hopefully someday we can throw down again." The Blast pushed Kefla far off the edge of the arena, the force was strong enough to shatter the earrings that kept them fused. As, the beam started to fade away, Cauilfla and Kale could be seen in an unconscious state falling below the stage until their teleported to the bleachers.

Goku fell on his back as he reverted back to his base state struggling to catch his breath, Gohan fell to his knees and did much of the same. "We did it, we really did it" Goku said as he made his way back on his feet. Gohan stood back up to his feet and turned to face the universe 6 bleachers. Goku did as well, they were met with an awake. Caulifla and Kale, they eyes made contact with each other's, the lady Saiyans gave big grins and a huge thumbs up. "Can't wait for the rematch!" Cauilfla shouted out. Goku and Gohan returned the gesture as Goku called out "we'll be waiting for that day to come!" Goku and Gohan made their way back towards the other contenders, the son family duo won a big fight, but this tournament was far from over, there was still one huge challenge to overcome. Jiren the Grey.
