Chapter 3: An Unexpected Search
It has been 20 minutes since Ash left the cabin. So Brock suggested that he should go find Ash and make sure he is alright. As Brock walked out the cabin, Misty was unsure about whether she should go with him. But by the time she tried to follow, Brock was already gone.
Brock felt like he had been walking for miles. Suddenly, he stopped when he heard a whirring sound from the sky. The whirring sound was getting stronger and stronger. It was a helicopter approaching past him. Could it be Jessie, James, and Meowth? That means that Ash could be in trouble. There was one way to find out.
Brock went to follow the helicopter and find out who was in it. Suddenly, he was ambushed by a group of Rhyhorn. He ran as fast as he could until he managed to hide in a small cave as they charged past him. Brock sighed with relief until he fell down a dark tunnel and landed outside. As soon as he got up, Brock was covered with cuts and bruises. He could barely walk.
Brock had only enough energy to walk into the woods. While he was there, he heard something fall from the sky. It was Jessie and James from afar as they landed on the hard ground. A few moments later, he saw Ash and Meowth head towards the bodies. Brock could not comprehend what they where saying. All he could hear was that Ash killed Jessie and James.
Brock was stunned to see what he was just experiencing. He saw Ash on his knees with anguish. He tried to remain as still as he could, but Brock made a sudden sound within the woods. It got Ash and Meowth's attention as Meowth walked further into the distance. Brock wanted to get a little closer to help Ash. But as he came to try to talk to him, Ash was gone. He and his Pikachu seemed to have run off. All that remained were the two dead bodies of Jessie and James lying on the ground.
Brock, finally passed out next to the bodies. He felt himself unable to move for quite awhile. Then he heard a familiar voice. "Freeze!" The next thing he knew he saw Office Jenny with a gun and handcuffs in her hands. "I said freeze!" "What", Brock asked with confusion. He was still next to the two bodies covered in bruises and blood. "Young man, you are under arrest for murder", Jenny exclaimed. "No, no, no, no, no, no" Brock shouted nervously. "I didn't kill them! I didn't kill them! I didn't kill them!" " Shut up, shut up" Jenny shouted. " You have the right to remain silence!" Jenny handcuffed Brock, and drastically pushed him in the backseat of the police car. "I didn't do it" Brock shouted as the car slowly drove away.
