Nathalie Sancoeur was currently at an airport thankful to having Adrien's bodyguard for taking her there, she was standing in the baggage claim repeatedly checking her watch, "his flight should have arrived by now," she started tapping her foot and the person that she was waiting was none other than her own nephew who was arriving in Paris, France from America, she just got custody over him only because she was his remaining family.

"Aunt Nathalie!" she turns around seeing a dark-haired boy at the age of fifteen wearing black sneakers, simple blue jeans, long sleeve gray hoodie shirt.

"I can't believe how much you've grown, how long has it been since I saw you, Nix," she gently pulls him into a hug.

"Seven or eight years, I believe," he told her while staring at her brooch that is the Peacock Miraculous, she let go of him seeing that he didn't have any luggage other than his backpack so she led him back to the car getting in the backseat with her nephew while Adrien's bodyguard drives the car.

"You'll be attending classes at Collège Françoise Dupont it a local high school, and I also arranged for you to be in the same class as Adrien Agreste."

He looks at his aunt then lets out a sigh, "straight to the point as usual as though her death didn't even affect you."

"I am sorry for what happened to your mother and there won't be a day that I will regret not seeing my sister more often but my work is important and it keeps me busy."

He glares at her as he sits up straight, "working for Gabriel Agreste, I've done some researched my dear aunt, you're an assistant for a fashion designer…" he leans forward, "yeah your job keeps you real busy," he then points to her Miraculous.

"You even have that mystical trinket you could have been there to save her but instead you decided that your career is more important than your own family probably sucking your bosses di..."

Before he could keep speaking she slapped him hard enough across the face making him look toward the window and she gave her nephew a hard look choosing to ignore that he had brought up her Miraculous.

"Nix Sancoeur, well I understand you're grieving for your mother but don't ever speak to me like that again and if you must know family is important to me, looking at you now I am reminded of my sister and you take a lot after her so maybe one day I'll tell you stories about her."

"Yes, aunt Nathalie."

The car pulled up to Agreste mansion, Nix was surprised by the size of the home, the gate opened up allowing them to enter the estate, "this is Gabriel Agreste's home, he has provided me and Adrien's bodyguard accommodations here, so you'll be living here as well also I want to introduce you to my boss so please be respectful."

Once inside they were greeted by Gabriel Agreste, he looks at Nix eyeing the young boy, and can see the potential this boy could process and a promising future ahead of him as well, Gabriel held his hand out to the boy, "Hello my name is Gabriel Agreste, Nathalie has told me a lot about you young man also I am sorry about what happen to your mother."

Nix felt something was off about the fashion designer given that he could feel a mystical item on him like he did on his aunt, "I only hope that they find her killer," he shook hands with Gabriel.

Adrien then came through the main entrance of the home seeing them, Nathalie look at him and smile softly, "welcome home Adrien this is my nephew Nix, he just arrived here from America and he going to be living with me as well attending the same school and classes with him."

Adrien and Nix shook hands, "great to meet you and it awesome that you're joining my class, life here never gets dull."

"I'll take your word for it, Adrien."

"Well if you excuse us, Nathalie and I have some work to get back to, Adrien why don't you show young Sancoeur here around the city."

Gabriel led Nathalie to his office then to his secret lair, Adrien looks at Nix and pulls him out of the mansion as he shows him around the city.

Nathalie looked at her boss who was currently Hawk Moth, "Gabriel I know that Nix is feeling a lot of negative emotions and we don't know what he could do with whatever power you might give him and there is the fact that you have lost control of those you have akumatized so what to say that you could control my nephew."

"Nathalie, trust me he'll be fine."

A butterfly flies into his hand then he places his other hand over it infusing energy into it turning it into an Akuma, it flies out of his hand then out of the window.

Adrien had brought Nix to Place des Vosges which is a park across the street from The Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie, Nix was sitting on a bench enjoying the fresh air glad that there was some small patches of nature left in the world and Adrien seem to notice that Nix was a bit more relaxed here than anywhere else he had brought him.

"You seem more relax here than the other places we have gone to."

"Well my mother loved to travel and explore ancient ruins, she would bring me with her on her expeditions," he covered his face with his hand as he leans forward, "there was one expedition she had brought me to when I was six."

Adrien look at him, "what had happened?"

"well she had found these ancient ruins that were heavily foxed theme, I felt some deep connection to it as if it were calling out to me but my mother told me to stay away from it and remain at the camp…" neither of them notices the Akuma flying towards them and within Adrien's shirt, a little black Kwami with an appearance of a cat was listening to them, something about Nix that didn't sit well with him.

"That night I didn't listen and snuck out of our camp going into the ruin when inside I felt charged, I don't know how to describe it but anyway while exploring the ruins I didn't realize how deep I had gone in," he reaches into his shirt pulling a fox pendant, "but whatever it was that I was feeling had led me to this."

'Is that a Miraculous?' thought Adrien.

"The moment that I had to pick this up there was a cave in and I became…" he took a deep breath then exhale, "I became trap under all of the rubble for weeks, during that time it never occurred to me that I wasn't injured despite that I was buried alive feeling the rubble dig into my skin but for some reason, I never realized it was because of the fear was setting in that I would never see my mother again."

The Akuma flew into his fox pendant as Nix enter a trance hearing Hawk Moth's voice in his head, Adrien seems to notice, "Nix, I need you to listen to me, you need to let go of any negative emotion that you're feeling and replace it with something positive."

Nix suddenly push Adrien away as he stood up while going through the Akumatization.

Hawk Moth look to Nathalie unsure how to tell her that he wasn't able to control her akumatized nephew, she could tell by the look that he was giving her, "his negative emotions seem to be a lot stronger than I had previously thought, we can only hope that Ladybug and Cat Noir can stop him before he could do serious harm."

Nathalie looks at him before quickly leaving hoping to talk some sense into her nephew.

Adrien's eyes widen when the transformation had finished there was a large monstrous fox with three tails, he had never seen anything like this before when an Akuma corrupts its victim, and this normally some kind of Sentimonster caused by one of Mayura's Amok.

He tenses up when the monster set its eyes on him so he quickly got up and ran off as the monstrous fox chases after him, he couldn't change into Cat Noir not wanting to give his secret identity away, just as the monstrous fox was about to tackle him but Ladybug swings in kicking the monster away.

"Get to safety!"

Adrien nods his head and leave to hide so he can change, Ladybug looks at the monster as it stares at her which made her nervous, "just what are you?" the monster tackles her into the ground then she kicks it off of herself and uses her yo-yo swinging it as it wraps around the monster followed by slamming him into a tree.

Cat Noir dropped down next to Ladybug, "hello Bugaboo," "stop calling me Bugaboo," they look at the monster as it struggles to get free, it looks at them as it fired an energy blast from its mouth causing Cat Noir to pushed Ladybug out of the way as the rope loosens allowing it to get free.

"Just what is that thing?" she questions her partner.

"I had run into Adrien on my way here, he said that this thing is another victim of Hawk Moth's, just a kid that had recently move to Paris and he mentions that the Akuma went into his fox pendant."

Ladybug just nods her head while pulling back her yo-yo, "ok, I'll draw his attention while you try to get that pendant," Cat Noir agreed with her as she runs towards the monster gaining his attention while Cat Noir tries to get the fox pendant from around his neck.

"Lucky Charm!" she yelled tossing her yo-yo into the air as it gives her a reflective shield which she quickly uses as the monster fox rapidly fired energy blast after energy blast at her and she uses the reflective plating of the shield to send the energy blasts back at him.

He notices the black cat theme superhero reaching for his pendant so he uses one of his three tails to smack him away, while distracted with Cat Noir it gave Ladybug an open window to swoop in snatching the fox pendant from around his neck then she tossed it to Cat Noir.

"Cataclysm!" yelled Cat Noir as he caught it in his hand destroying it making the Akuma fly out of it which Ladybug quickly captures and purified it before releasing the butterfly.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" yelled Ladybug as she tossed her lucky charm into the air as it reverts to a swarm of ladybugs to fix any damages that could have happened.

Sitting on the grass was Nix holding his head trying to remember what happens, Ladybug kneels next to him, "hey you're alright it best to not remember what happened."

Cat Noir quickly left as he was about to change back, Nathalie came up to them she eyed Ladybug before placing her hand on Nix's shoulder and look up at her.

"Nix how are you feeling?" Asked Nathalie gaining his attention.

"I can't remember what happened."

"It best you don't," Ladybug told him as she heard a familiar beeping so she gave a quick goodbye as she leaves before her secret identity could be discovered, Adrien showed up running to them.

"It good to see that you're alright," Adrien says to Nix then he noticed Nathalie, "miss Nathalie surprised to see you here,"

"I was concerned for my nephew Adrien," she helps her nephew up to his feet, "come on you two let get home and get some food, you both had quite the day."

They nod their heads agreeing with her allowing her to take them back to the mansion but Adrien couldn't get the image of Nix as that monstrous fox out of his head.

Later that night Adrien can be seen laying in his bed staring at the ceiling, Plagg floated up next to him while eating his Camembert cheese, "you know Adrien that new guy, Nix was it? He gives off a similar vibe to a Kwami which probably explains that transformation we had witnessed."

"You think it possible that he is a Miraculous wearer?"

"I am not sure but you and Ladybug should be careful around this guy seem there is more to him than he lets on."

At Marinette's house a little red Kwami with black spots and big blue eyes known as Tikki was staring out the window while Marinette slept, something about today had bothered her more so the person that got Akumatized and she couldn't figure out it had bothered her more than the others that been a victim to Hawk Moth's Akuma.
