hello guys and gals, I am back in action once again, and happy anniversary to the Universal knights, it's been my 3rd year of being here but also my 5th year on working on this franchise, so yay me!
I promised I would post this story on this exact date, I know I'm not usually good at keeping promises that I make but this time I won't disappoint any of you
I will admit, despite already writing this story, I still had to overcome a few obstacles when writing this, since me and my family are always so busy it's hard to find the time to write it, and it's been hard on my dad lately, it's not serious but his digestive tract has been messed up after having to eat on his bed for months after having surgery on his leg, but he'll be released tomorrow so thank God for that, but please lend any prayer for a speedy recovery if you can thank you very much.
but enough of me talking, it's time for the show
At a point in time, everything was covered in pitch black darkness, there was nothing but the endless void, a small little blue bird with dark feathers was floating amidst the void, the small bird was frightened by the nothingness that he was surrounded by, he didn't know what to do or where to go but to only cry helplessly.
"Little one" said a female voice from the distance
The little bird was frightened by the voice as his body was shaking to no end while still remaining to where he was as he looked around with his brown eyes.
"Don't be afraid little one, I am here to help you, you're not alone" said the voice in a gentle tone
Out of the darkness came an adult bird that was like the little bird but she had a lighter set of feathers, most of her body was being covered by the endless void that surrounded them both, but even so she approached the little bird who was trembling in fear of her, but she wiped away his tears with her wings.
"I know this is scary, it's hard to be brave when you feel this loneliness, but I know that you can be stronger than I ever was" said the female bird
The female bird then places her wings on her chest, suddenly light begins to come off it, she then reaches out her wings and it was a little ball of light that had an array of multiple colors on it, the little bird stares at it in awe in an almost hypnotic way.
"Please take it...as long as you keep this light close to your heart...you'll remember that you will never be alone...goodbye now...dear child" said the female bird
The female bird then fades into the darkness, the little bird was still looking at the light, feeling a certain warmth coming from it, he grabs hold of the light and puts it in his chest, that light began to spread all around him, each of the colors, blue, green, pink, orange, light blue, yellow, silver, black, white, cyan, violet, and crimson began to form crosses of their own, each of these lights began to light up the void while scattering the darkness all around, and soon enough the scenery changed, the sun was rising off of the distance as it shines its light onto the sparkling waters that the little bird was standing on, he now felt at peace and no longer scared, but off in the distance there was a tree in front of him, and there were multiple individuals that were humans standing by the tree, but the sunlight kept the little bird from seeing them, when the sunlight shines on the leaves of the tree, the tree begins to emit particles of light and that same light began to course through its roots and into the water, the little bird looks down...what lies beneath the water was a multitude of worlds.
Sometime passes, the little bird found himself somehow opening his eyes in a hollow, he looked rather exhausted while he heard mumbling of two adults that were not too far from him, the little bird began to get up and he began to yawn, the two adults immediately turn around and they take notice that he's awake, the female adult began to walk towards him, she lowers herself down to his level, she had a very happy look on her face.
"Hello there sweetie, you're up rather too early, did you have a nightmare?" the female macaw asks in a sweet and kind manner
The little bird then yawns again and so the female macaw picks him up with her wings and puts him close to her chest.
"It's alright now, Mommy's got you, I won't let any harm come to you"
The little bird began to snuggle his head against his mother's feathers as he was comfy, the mother then laughed for a bit as she then placed a kiss on his head, she then walked over towards her mate, the male bird looked down on his son as he rubs his wing on his head.
"It looks like our little guy is already fast asleep, he's a bit of a sleepy head isn't he?" said the male bird
The female bird replies, "well he's your son after all"
The male bird then chuckles for a bit.
"Ya got me there Sarah, ya got me there" said the male bird
The two birds then have a kissed each other, they then go over to the opening of their hollow as they look out into the night sky and see the forest that was around them, off in the distance lied a bustling city full of people and lights, the family stare at the beautiful lights in awe the male macaw wraps his wings around his beloved and his child.
"You know David, I feel like this could work, just you, me, and our son living here" said Sarah with such Hope
David says, "Yeah...me two"
( 10 years later )
Somewhere in florida at nighttime in the middle of nowhere that was surrounded by trees, a 5 year old boy was rocking back and forth on a rocking chair as fast as he could because he was bored, the little had short brown hair and had a pale skin tone, he also had light green eyes and is wearing a black sleeveless shirt with the Miami U symbol on it while also wearing a pair of shorts, but while he was dozing off into space, he starts hearing heavy breathing noises not too far away from him, the little boy got up from the chair he was just on as he was curious from where that heavy breathing was coming from, he looks over to the right and sees someone sitting behind a tree, out of curiosity the little boy began to walk over towards where the person was, he then sees the person who had her face on her knees as she was heavily breathing, the person was a 16 year old girl who was wearing a pair of shoes, jeans, and a white hoodie with the hood over her head, the girl takes notice of the little boy that was approaching but she was still startled by him, she began to wipe her face with the sleeve of her hoodie.
"You scared me there for a second, What are you doing out here? And where are your parents?" The teenaged girl asks with her voice slightly cracked up
The little boy then points directly at the house he was staying in.
"Oh, I see, so you're just hanging out here by yourself?" the teenage girl asks
The little boy didn't answer as he just stood there silently with a curious look in his eyes, the teenage girl then sighs as she knew she wasn't gonna get a response.
"Not much of a talker are you kid? It's fine, you don't have to talk if you don't want to" said the teenage girl
She begins to get up from the spot she was on.
"I'll be on my way now, I don't want to cause any more trouble than I already have" said the teenage girl
But then suddenly she notices something, her chest began to glow a white light, she was definitely surprised by this, but what was more surprising was when she turns next to her and sees that the boy's chest was glowing a blue light as he seemed to be shocked by this, the girl looked in a realization while she approaches the little boy and kneels down to his level, revealing her blond hair and her white eyes.
"I don't believe it, your just like me, I know your too young to understand any of this but you will someday, I promise" said the teenage girl
The teenage girl then grabs something around her neck, it was a necklace that had a silver cross on it, she then places it around the boy's neck.
"Here, keep this, so that it'll help you remember the promise I made on this day, someday I will return and explain everything to you...Please Remember me until then" said the teenage girl
Everything began to feel very hazy and dizzy as the little boy could barely see anymore.
"ISAIAH!" a male voice shouts
Suddenly the little boy snaps out of the trance he was in, he then finds himself on the rocking he was on not too awhile ago but with his dad facing him, his dad had short black hair and darker skin than he did with also stubbles on his face as he was wearing a white tank top with shorts on him, his dad looks down on his son with a rather stern look on his face.
"I've been calling you for 10 minutes now! What have you been doing out here?" the dad asks him
The little boy didn't know how to respond, he immediately forgot what he was doing so he just sat there unable to answer his dad's question, his dad seemed slightly annoyed.
"It's fine, we need to get you in bed, it's past 8:00, come on" said the dad
The little boy got up from the rocking chair and followed his dad into the house.
"...It is now set...their fates have been intertwined...the future has already been written...there is no going back...on what happens next…"
Opening: ( "Identity" by Kiro Akiyama )
( an old man was standing among a field full of flowers with the sun setting on the horizon, glass statues were clinging onto him from every angle on his body, he looked as though he was in pain, he began to receive images into his head of a newborn baby, the deaths of multiple individuals, and a rising of a glowing creature, he then opens his eyes with a fierce look on his face and all the glass statues shatter around him, the shards began to float in the air and they assemble together to form the title )
The Chronicles of the Universal Knights: Re Shattered Memories
( the title then reflects the light from the sun that blinds the field vision, changing the scenery into a white room, a boy and a bird were being surrounded by glass shards )
"I remember It, I remember it..."
( the glass shards begin to form a small mirror right next to a boy with a blue hoodie, the mirror shows monsters terrorizing and tormenting innocent people while he looked in anger )
"...The feeling of despair, that comes with just one blink…"
( it then transitions towards the bird who looked sorrowful )
"...Even if we opened our eyes, we kept dreaming of…"
( the glass shards began to form a mirror for the bird, showing a joyful reunion with his wife, children, in laws, and even his parents )
"...A story in which our moment shines…"
( the glass shards began to swarm around them once more, showing children helping each other out through a wasteland of a city )
"...Hey, the hands of the clock!..."
( the glass shards then transform once more to show another group of children braving through the blizzard )
"...please smile at me just a little bit…"
( all of those groups of children were in a dark room together, they were trapped until a door of light appears at the other end )
"...I was always at your mercy…"
( all of them began racing towards that door without a moment of hesitation, the light then shines upon them, the boy with the blue hoodie was carrying a sword, he began cut his way through a horde of giant spiders )
"...I'll go destroy the frozen tomorrow…"
( the scene then changes to another boy with long and crazy black hair as he had a pistol, he began to shoot his way through an army of giant lizard creatures )
"...And yet have many things I don't want to lose…"
( the scene transitions once more to a boy who had dark skin, he was using his fists to smash through guards made out of ice )
"...I found you beyond this cruel destiny…"
( all of three of these worlds merge into one, with the 3 of them getting ready to fight as the boy with the sword imbued his weapon with lightning, the dark skinned boy had flames coming from his hands, and the black haired kid only having his pistol, they charged forward towards humanoid monsters with red eyes )
"...There's no meaning to my tears anymore…"
( the scene then changes into bunches of kids free falling from the sky, the first one to appear was a boy with a green jacket who carries a hammer that manipulates wind, the second one was a blonde girl who seemed strong by herself, and another dark skinned boy who can summon any weapon he wants )
"...in a corner of this bewildering world…"
( the others continue to fall as well with a long haired blonde boy who can create portals, a red head boy who has healing abilities, and a black haired girl with the ability to create and control Ice )
"...You breathe in and out as if you were screaming…"
( the last person that was falling was a girl with a rapier that projects light from it, she continues on falling, the old man from the beginning was falling alongside them and the girl takes notice of it and looks as if she sees a familiar face )
"...If we go beyond the thousands of days and are able to meet again…"
( both the girl and the old man reaches out their hand towards each other as they try to grab a hold on each other )
"...We'll laugh just a further away from despair…"
( the scene then shatters into thousands of glass shards, these glass shards began to make images of the memories of the children, each of these memories containing joy, relief, sorrow, pain, anger, fear, disgust, and determination, all of those memories began to swarm into the blue gem of the necklace with the cross on it, the memories keep on flowing non stop to where the point all of them began to turn into glass themselves, the scene then transitions to a bunch of blue feathers levitating in the air as soon a flock of birds were standing in the white room with glass shards surrounding them )
"...I remember it, I remember it…"
( the glass shards began to form right next to a female bird with light blue feathers with the mirror showing her the city of Rio de Janeiro as she faintly smiles )
"...The scenery I can see, the scenery I like…"
( the glass shards then began to form a larger mirror that every one of them are apart of and then image of the mirror shows the amazon jungle in all of its glory )
"...What I encountered in this world…"
( the Amazon then transitions into a burning landscape caused by a wildfire )
"...It's worth living but also cruel…"
( the scene then transitions to the female bird dwelling on the thoughts of her own family and their state of happiness )
"...We don't even know the meaning of meaninglessness…"
( a bird with long feathers on his head was visiting a gravesite that is filled with flowers )
"...Repeated nights of crying…"
( the birds were in a dark cave by themselves as they had nowhere to go as they only feel miserable )
"...But keep crawling, moving forward, and screaming…"
( the blue bird from the beginning turns around to see his parents looking at him, he began to chase after them with tears in his eyes, his body begins to turn into glass as his body breaks apart into glass shards )
"...To the point of being here is surprising…"
( the scene transitions to both the boy in the blue hoodie and the blue bird maneuvering through the rainforest )
"...Naturally, I'll look forward to dreaming the next night again…"
( the scene transitions with the boy with long black hair and an older male blue bird running from the horde of lizards )
"...Please don't hide your loneliness from me…"
( the scene transitions once more to the dark skinned boy holding a male toucan in his hand as he was keeping him warm with his flame powers while powering through a blizzard )
"...I found you beyond this cruel destiny…"
( all of these worlds merge into one as they run forward and reach out their hands/wings towards the exit of their nightmares )
"...There's no meaning to my tears anymore…"
( it changes once more to show the boy with the green jacket paired up with the female light blue bird, the blonde girl paired up with an older female blue bird )
"...To be able to live with someone more than anything else…"
( the other dark skinned boy paired up with the male blue bird with long feathers, the blonde haired boy paired up with an adolescent blue bird )
"...carve marks on the road and laugh…"
( the black haired girl being by herself, the red haired boy being paired with a chubby adolescent female blue bird )
"...As I've kept my love for you, It'll be my own life…"
( the last one was the girl with the rapier paired up with another adolescent female bluebird, as all of them find themselves in a maze filled with mirrors )
"...Because I can live with my own reflection…"
( they began running through what seems to be an endless run with no end in sight, all they feel was confusion and hopelessness, but while on the run they found themselves fighting through a horde of monsters from the hooded boy's image, they tried their best to fend them off, but as they keep fighting only more came and came to where the point they were overwhelmed by the numbers, all they could do was scream and fight for their lives, while a mysterious figure was watching from the distances as they thought that he was the enemy behind all this, but as the madness continues, everything turns white, the children find themselves covered in white clothes, all of their scars, old age, and feelings of pain fade away, they look beyond the horizon and see the loved ones they had lost before )
"...The dead will rise again…"
( standing at the center was the king of all creations, they reach out their limbs as they dreamed of going to where they were at )
"...The dead will rise again…"
( suddenly they wake up from that dream of theirs beaten, battered, and covered in their own blood )
"...I know it, but I can't say it…"
( the boy in the blue hood charges towards the mysterious figure with his sword in his hands with the figure had his/her glass rapier, both of them clash their blades against each other )
"...I'll go and destroy the frozen tomorrow.."
( the boy with the long black hair began firing his rounds at the mysterious figure while the figure began reflecting those rounds with his/her rapier )
"...A distant, distant memory has awakened…"
( the dark skinned boy inflamed his fists and began to rush in while the mysterious figure creates a glass barrier to shield him/herself from the barrage of attacks )
"...I found you beyond this cruel destiny…"
( all of them rush in at the mysterious figure but turns his body into glass and warps to somewhere else )
"...there's no meaning in my tears anymore…"
( the mysterious figure began to make an army of past enemies of before out of their memories )
"...Even though I tried to breath out with everything…"
( despite being exhausted and on the verge of collapsing they still cling onto their determination )
"...It was still very, very painful…"
( suddenly one of the birds were transforming as they were all in shock including the mysterious figure, as the bird was giant and was glowing a golden light as it roars throughout the battlefield )
"...I'll live the way I want, I'll live the way that's right…"
( the group of children and the flock of birds felt reassured as they charge into battle without hesitation and the two armies clash against each other )
"...because I can smile at the future I chose…"
( the battle fades out, only showing them resting near the statue of christ as the human children were eating ice cream sandwiches while having a good time with each other, the flock of birds joined in with them as they gaze at the sun setting as they wait for the new day to come )
whew, that opening took a lot of effort for me to do, but I hope you guys enjoy it.
so some of you are wondering of how often I'll be posting these chapters on this particular story, well it'll be every 2 weeks, sorry I know it's a bit long but I'll also be working on the "Fate of Worlds" story I said I'd be working on, so it'll be in a pattern, so for this week I'll be working on "Fate of worlds", and within the next week I'll be working on this one, I know I'm asking a lot but it's an upgrade then from waiting a month or 2 just for a chapter.
I would also appreciate it if you guys could follow and review on this story, that sounds greedy of me but I would appreciate the support from all of you, also be sure to share this story to some of authors that you guys know of, the more the merrier am I right?
