kurt hummel stared at his empty sketch pad. he'd been awake for hours but he couldn't think of any designs at all. in frustration, he threw his pencil down on the paper. "giving up already?" a voice said from behind him. kurt spun round to see the person addressing him. "hey q, i have no ideas at all!" quinn pulled up a chair and at beside him; "seems like you have artists block, kurt. you need to get out of this study!" she stood up and drew the curtains, flooding the room with light. kurt rolled his eyes, "i'm fine in here. it's where everything i need is." he gestured to all of the materials in his neatly labelled drawers. "how long has it been since you've successfully completed a design?" she asked her friend softly. "3 weeks! 3 weeks quinn! isabelle's gonna fire me." he let his head drop onto the paper. "okay kurt, isabelle loves you she's not gonna fire you. second, you need to get back out there! remember you always had your best ideas when you were living your life! now you're in here 24 hours a day." kurt looked up at her, "what are you getting me into?" quinn smiled, "you, me, rachel. we're gonna go get our party on in a bar i know." kurt shook his head, "no. i'm not gonna sit and third wheel while you get drunk and make out with your girlfriend!" she slapped him playfully, "c'mon kurtie! when was the last time you went to a good party?" kurt thought for a second. "exactly!" quinn exclaimed. "7:30 tonight." she scribbled an address down on a piece of paper. "be there, okay?" kurt nodded and sighed, going back to staring at his paper as quinn left.
