~Prologue~
Jax Teller sat on a lounge chair in his sister in law Tori's, formally Gemma Teller's, backyard. Abel and Thomas were in the pool swimming. Tara was in the kitchen helping her sister get the food ready. All of his brother's were standing around the grill drinking beer as Happy manned it.
He never thought that he would have it all. Tara being able to be who she was and do what she wanted career wise, Jax being able to be who he is and being apart of, and running what his dad started, and having it the way his father originality wanted, and finally him being with Tara with both having all that they wanted.
It was a long hard road to get where they were at now. Jax looked over at his sister in law Tori being the hostes as she had the biggest smile on her face. She was four months pregant and was just beginning to show.
She was engaged to the former Sargent at Arms for SAMTAC, current ER pediatritian at St. Thomas Hospital, and current Secretary, and SAMCRO brother Herman Kozik. Bobby used to be both the Secretary and Treasurer, but it got to be too much for him so Kozik took the Secretary role.
Gemma had moved to Norco with Luicus and Nero and she was very happy on the farm. Though she was back and forth to Charming to see the boys and the boys were back and forth to the farm. Nero was really what Gemma needed and he got her to see the bigger picture.
Gemma had messed up alot over the years, and well moving to Norco with Nero was what needed to be done. Now she had made amends with everyone.
She had her grandsons and her future stepson, and she took on the motherly role to Tori, even though she was still close to her late husband's parents. Nero was the one who sold Tori's father in law his part of Dosia.
Jax was broken out of his thoughts when Gemma asked the current owner of her former home where her fiance was.
"Well Gemma I just got the call. It turns out that two of the ER pediatricians were out of town, and the other two called in sick. So looks like my fiance is the only one able to cover the three till eleven shift. Even though he was scheduled for the four to four shift." said Tori.
Jax smiled. Since the club went legit it allowed Kozik to take those wild shifts because of the lack of shit coming up. Besides he finally convinced Tig that he turned over a new leaf, and he and Kozik squashed their fued because he noticed that not only did Kozik get himself together, but also got himself a day job career in addition to the club.
Jax thought back to Salazar. Alveraz stripped him off his patch, and after that Salazar went after Alveraz's VP, his son Easi. Though that fucking prick broke the cardinal rule of Outlaw bikers. Leave innocents out of it. First of all Hector didn't care that Easi was riding with his eight year old daughter, and shot him causing him to skid and lay his bike down.
Then he, and his girl Luisia kidnapped Tara, and her boss. Tori was Easi's wife and Tiffany was their child. Easi and Tiffany were taken to Saint Thomas and that was were Tori met her current fiance since he was Tiffany's doctor. Shaking his head he thought of the long hard road that got them to this point where everyone was happy and content.
This was the story.
~2008 Tori~
Tori Knowles-Alveraz is the younger sister to Tara Knowles. When Tara was nineteen she took off for college. Tori didn't want to live with their drunkard father anymore so she emancipated herself and left.
At sixteen she ended up getting with and then eventually marrying Easi Alveraz. In 2000 the couple gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Tiffany Diana Alveraz. The couple had a happy life until it all went down hill.
Easi was a member of his father's club and well Tori was just the most beautiful girl that he had ever met. He knew she was broken, but he vowed to fix her and he did. Though one thing that he never understood was the fact that she was willing to give him a blowjob whenever he wanted, and even more, but never allowed him to return the favor.
Beside's that setback the two of them made it work and they had a little girl in 2000. Lori lied about her age and ran away after her older sister left, but her dad was too drunk to know what was going on. She loved Marcus, Diana, and Easi. She was safe and loved.
Tori for years worked as a hair dresser for Colletti's in Charming. Okay it was a drive, but she got on with her boss Precious, and she could do everything that people asked for. Tori rode a motorcycle also.
Her husband had an ape hanger Harley and Tori had a Dyna Street Glide that she loved. If she had to take Tiffany to school or if Easi had to, they would borrow Marcus's blue Dodge Ram. Another reason that Tori rode was because her car got totaled when lightening struck a tree during a thunderstorm and it landed on her 2006 Tahoe.
Tori enjoyed riding her bike, but wanted to wait until her daughter was older before riding with her.
Though one beautiful day Easi decided that he would let Tiffany ride with him for the first time. He had no idea that he would be attacked by Salazar.
Hector Salazar wanted to get back at both the Sons and the Mayans for ruining his life. He didn't care anymore. Jax and Alveraz were going down. Seeing the opportunity he saw the Vice President of the Mayans riding. Grabbing his gun he shot Easi causing him to lay his bike down.
Salazar laughed. One down, and now he was going after the Mayan President and the Sons. They ruined his life also. He tried to get Hale to help him out, but all Hale cared about was his own gain on getting every shop in mainstreet.
Tori was washing a client's hair and was getting ready to color and perm her hair when her boss handed her the phone. "Your husband and daughter were in an accident. You need to take this." said Precious.
Tori was thankful she had such an understanding boss as she picked up the phone. "This is Mrs. Alveraz. What's happening between my daughter and husband."
"Hello I'm Dr. K. You need to come to Saint Thomas. Your daughter is in critical condition, and well your husband is not in any better shape. Though you'll have to ask the ER doctor. I'm just the ER. Pediatrician." he said.
"Thanks doctor." said Tori wiping her eyes. "I'm on my way." Hanging up the phone she looked toward her boss. "Precious I'm sorry I gotta go. My husband and daughter were in an accident and both are at Saint Thomas hospital." she said.
"Go, I'll cover you." said Precious since she was a mother herself and understood. Tori raced out of there and got into her father in law's truck and made a beeline for the hospital.
Tara Knowles had a lot on her mind. Gemma told her to just wait and look into Abel's eyes and tell Jax before she did anything rash. Though she was considerably thinking about getting an abortion. She was broken out of her thoughts when she was told to scrub in for surgery. Dr. Kozik recommended it. A little girl was brought in after a motorcycle accident and it didn't look good for the girl or her father.
Tara looked at the sheets. Tammy Alveraz and Easi Alveraz. She about stumbled seeing the spouse and the mother's name. Tori Knowles- Alveraz. It seemed like all at once it was hitting her. Boom boom boom. Jax shutting her out and then cheating on her with that porn slut, finding out she was pregnant, and finally finding out that her little sister might loose her daughter and husband.
Tara felt the tears fall down and she accidentally ran into Dr. K. Okay if she had not been with Jax she would have appreciated his good looks, beach boy looks, and laid back attitude.
"Tara what's wrong?" Dr. K asked.
"Okay I know all about doctor patient privileges, but I looked at the sheets. That little girl Tammy is my niece. Tori is my little sister. What's going on and will she make it?" Tara asked.
"I cannot speak for the father since it's a different department, but, shit this just makes me want to use again. I don't see the girl making it. I'm sorry." said Dr. K.
"Hey Herman I'm relieving you. You have been through the ringer and it's not worth falling off the wagon again and losing your career or you club." said a young doctor.
"Your dad hates me though because I messed up and now his dog got hit by a car." said Dr. K aka Herman.
"Dad is a douchbag and doesn't know when to let the minor shit go and move on." said Doctor Fawn Trager. She moved up in life and was a pediatrician like Herman was. "Listen I will do everything I can for Doctor Knowle's niece to survive. The husband died so I am going to do whatever I can so mother and daughter can be reunited. Go home and get some rest." said Dr. Trager.
Tori broke many speeding laws, but she was determined as she pulled the Navy Blue Dodge Ram into the parking lot at Saint Thomas. She saw her father in law's ape hanger and she knew that he and Diana were there.
Running inside she let it all out. "I need information for my husband Easi Alveraz and my daughter Tammy Alveraz. I'm Tori Alveraz the wife and mother." she said.
"Hello I'm Dr. Thomas and I hate to inform you, but your husband didn't make it." Tori just sat down. She could no longer stand. She lost her husband who she loved with everything in her.
"What about my daughter Tammy?" Tori asked.
Before she could say anything else two doctors came over to her. One was young with brown hair, but had the look like she new what she was doing and the second looked like a beach boy and with his hair and tempermant
"Mrs. Alveraz I'm Dr. K and this is Dr. Trager. We are tying to do everything that we can for your daughter to make it." said Kozik. Tori looked at him and she felt broken. Kozik felt attracted to her, but shti not only was she with the Mayans, she might lose her daughter, and finally he was a doctor. Her daughter's doctor and that was unethical.
"Hello you can call me Fawn. Dr. K is about to punch out so I'm taking over. Now it isn't looking good, but we are going to do everything we can to save her." She said as Marcus and Diana ran in.
"What happened?" Marcus asked.
"Easi is dead, and Tammy is critical. It's not looking good. From what the cops told me someone shot him while they were riding and the bike was laid down. Thank you Dr. Trager please save my daughter. She's all I got left," Tori said as tears were falling down like waterfalls.
Both Diana and Marcus embraced their daughter in law as they all grieved for their son and husband. Now they were just hoping their daughter, and granddaughter made it.
Tara was walking down the hall thinking about what she was going to do next. She had finished her shift and was about to head to the garage to help Chucky with some paperwork. She had hoped it would get her mind off of Jax and Ima together, and the fact that she was pregnant.
She should have thought to bring protection before banging in the bathroom of a porn studio, but she was trying to make a point to the bitch Ima. She should have remembered that birth control was ineffective due to antibiotics due to a sinus infection she was fighting.
She was broken out of her thoughts when she saw someone in the arms of an older couple just sobbing away as she passed the ER waiting room. Doing a double take she recognized someone she hadn't seen in years. Her little sister Tori.
"Tori." said Tara.
"Tara. Listen now isn't a good time. I just lost my husband now my baby girl might not make it. I see you made a good life for yourself. Though I will never forgive you for leaving me with that fucking sperm donor of ours Frank Knowles. Shit one night he got drunk and..., well I cannot talk about it, and nobody knows about it. I'll just say that is what prompted me to run away to Oakland, lie about my age, and get married in a hurry. Oh another thing as to what happened, well I'll just say I will never be comfortable with receiving oral." Tori let out.
"Holy shit! Baby girl." Diana gasped.
"If he wasn't already dead he will be after hearing this shit. Oh Mijia." said Marcus hugging her daughter in law.
"Shit I didn't know. I'm sorry. I should have taken you with me. I am so sorry sis. Listen I know you live in Oakland, but it's a bit of a drive from there to here." Tara began.
"I work at Coletti's Salon so I'm used to the commute. Anyway why are you bringing shit up! I just lost my fucking husband, and I have no idea if my daughter is going to make it!" Tori snapped.
"Here are the keys to my boyfriend's house where I'm living. Dad's house is for sale and all of our stuff is in storage. Stay with us so you are not commuting so much while your daughter, my niece, is in the hospital." said Tara.
"And who is your boyfriend?" Tori asked.
"Jax." said Tara.
"Why am I not surprised." said Tori.
"Daughter get some rest. Diana and I will be here. Just rest for tonight at your sisters." said Marcus. "We will be staying here for Tammy." he added.
"Okay thanks so much. If you are staying how about I take Tessa with me. It will help me a bit." said Tori.
"Thanks you are a sweetheart. Now Tessa be good for your sister Tori. She loves you." said Diana.
Tori hugged her inlaws and left the hospital. She knew that she needed rest before she was back again. She had lost her husband and she needed a bit of time. Now her hope was for her daughter to be fine. Keying in her sister's boyfriend's address into the GPS on the truck she hit start.
"Hey I'm going to the garage to help out. I'll be back later. Also I'm staying at Frank's. It's a long story." said Tara.
"Tara I would rather stay at Jax's or a hotel than to ever stay at Franks again. I will see ya sis." said Tori driving off to Jax's.
