"This is so exciting! A tour of a real life history museum." Eevee cheered as she travelled with Pikachu and Piplup to the Central City Museum.
"Yeah...well it is part of the job. To take the demo tour of the new Pokemon Fossil Exhibit that'll be displayed across multiple worlds." Pikachu said. "Still...to be back in the human world...as a pokemon. Kinda wild."
"Well I hope everyone is ready cause I'll lead the best tour I can." Piplup declared proudly.
"While tripping on your feet?" Eevee asked as she and Pikachu laughed.
"Hey!" Piplup fumed as they arrived at the museum.
"Ah...you must be in the demo too." said a fox like Pokemon with a branch in her tail.
Braixen, the Fox Pokemon and the evolved form of Fennekin. A Fire Type.
It has a twig stuck in its tail. With friction from its tail fur, it sets the twig on fire and launches into battle.
"You're...Braixen from the Fire Kingdom of Ignis. What's a celebrity like you doing here?" Eevee asked.
"I'm taking time off from my princess duties to find myself and a purpose." Braixen said.
"Ah...ze tour. How wonderful. Good to see it has not started." a voice said as they saw a small hippo like creature approach.
Hippopotas, the Hippo Pokemon. A Ground Type.
It moves through the sands with its mouth open, swallowing sand along with its prey. It gets rid of the sand by spouting it from its nose.
"Wow...you must be a history lover or something." Piplup said.
"Not really but I heard history can take you places." Hippopotas said.
A rumbling soon spooked the pokemon as they saw a large bag approaching. And carrying it was a small pokemon with a green spiky head. "Here!" he said cheerfully.
Chespin, the Spiky Nut Pokemon. A Grass Type
Such a thick shell of wood covers its head and back that even a direct hit from a truck wouldn't faze it.
"That's a lot of stuff for a little guy like you." Pikachu said.
"Nah. Not really. Besides, I always say its best to be prepared for anything." Chespin said as he pulled an apple from the pack as he ate it.
"Good, everyone is here." a voice said as marching out was a large rock like creature with a big red nose. "Welcome to the tour. I'm Nosepass. I'll be your tour leader."
Nosepass, the Compass Pokemon. A Rock Type
It uses powerful magnetism to drag its prey toward it. It's also been known to pull in metal, which it collects and uses to protect itself.
"Lead the way, sir." Pikachu said as the seven of them entered the museum, unaware of some shadowed figures watching from the darkness.
"Whoa...so cool!" Chespin said as they looked at three large skeletons.
"Now the actual exhibits are still being constructed. Showing comparisons to ancient species to the fossil pokemon we know today." Nosepass said. "So for now, we will only be gazing upon three of them, well skeletons anyway. The Despot Pokemon, Tyrantrum. The Shield Pokemon, Bastiodon. And the Fossil Pokemon, Aerodactyl."
"Incredible. It is as if they are staring down on me." Hippopotas said.
"But they're just skeletons. They aren't alive anymore." Piplup said.
"Oh that can be arranged." a voice cackled as a figure stood there. It was a young girl dressed in a revealing outfit outfitted with clocks on it.
"And...are you with the tour?" Nosepass asked.
"What? Don't you know who I am? I am a new recruit for the New Universal Villains. Rejuvie!" she said as a few ghost like creatures were around her.
"Sableye!" Pikachu said. "A whole bunch of them too."
"Also recruits for the NUV." Rejuvie said.
"NUV?" Piplup asked before he started laughing.
"Hey, its cool!" she called out. "Whatever. Now...watch as my ability breaths new life into these old fossils." she said raising her hands as the three fossils were slowly becoming more living. "I can rewind things to a previous state. It doesn't work on living things but using it on bones that were dead...its kinda a grey area. Doesn't matter, I got dinos at my beck and call!" she said as the skeletons now stood as living breathing Pokemon. "With them...I shall take this city! Attack!"
"Wow...someone's being a little too bold." Nosepass said. "Now...we fight. Stone Edge!" Nosepass called out as several pointed stones fired at Aerodactyl, knocking it down to the ground.
"Bubblebeam!" Piplup said firing a beam of bubbles right at Bastiodon.
"Oh this looks like fun!" Chespin said as he leapt into the air. "Wood...Hammer!" he said striking Tyrantrum, taking it down in one hit.
"What is with these losers? Sableye Squad! Strike!" Rejuvie said as the Sableye made their move.
"Not so fast! Sand Tomb!" Hippopotas said, trapping the villainess and the Sableye in a sand twister.
"Nice work. Now we can work on taming these savage beasts." Braixen said as she drew a circle with her stick. "Flame Wheel!" she said hitting Bastiodon with a wheel of flames.
"Quick Attack." Eevee said ramming into Aerodactyl.
"Thunderbolt!" Pikachu cried out as he zapped Aerodactyl with a thunderbolt, taking it down.
"Looks like that's all of them." Nosepass said as the sands cleared around Rejuvie only to show that the Sableye were gone. "Seems your minions have abandoned you."
"Well uh…" Rejuvie said as she turned to run only to be stopped by some members of the Universal Police. "Aw man." she said before being arrested and escorted out.
"Hmm...what a nut." Piplup said as the ancient pokemon they defeated soon reverted into normal bones. "Huh...looks like the ability was temporary."
"Shame. To have their lives back for a short moment only to have it taken away." Hippopotas said.
"Well...looks like we certainly have our work cut out for us. But nothing our team can handle." Eevee said.
"Yeah." Pikachu said.
"Oh...you head up that rescue/exploration team, don't you?" Braixen asked. "Do you always look for new members? Cause if you do, I wouldn't mind joining your side."
"Same here. Its always good to have a master packer." Chespin said.
"And I...would just prefer a nice place." Hippopotas said.
"I cannot forgive those who mess with history. So I shall lend my aide to the cause." Nosepass said.
"Well...not what we were expecting but...welcome to the team." Pikachu said.
Braixen, Chespin, Hippopotas and Nosepass have joined Ginhana Sky
Meanwhile, in a hidden location, a number of the Sableye were complaining to DaDan and Techno.
"I get it, I get it. Don't talk all at once." DaDan growled.
"That makes three failures." Techno said. "I regret having to send so many soldiers out to cause random crimes but this is the best way to ensure our private project is working."
"But it shows that it works. Giving powers to those who want it." DaDan said. "We just need a way to make the heroes look bad. After we failed in Paris, not sure how…"
"Hold that thought. I think I may have discovered a possible solution." Techno said looking at a newspaper. "Pack your bags...we're going to New York."
Elsewhere…
"Hmm...three random villain attacks in the past week. All small and petty but proclaiming themselves as members of the New Universal Villains." said Ishimaru.
"Well...what's the call?" Quake asked.
"Hmm...we'll have to look into this. Contact Ghost Spider and Ms. Marvel. We're going to investigate these New Universal Villains. But we do have a responsibility to that event. We're going to New York. Hero Foundations Honor." he said.
