"Ah!" Lex-A screamed. "Get him away from me!"

As if Kat was a disease, she avoided him and ran almost as fast as Cheetara to get away from him and his deadly touch.

"You said you'll kiss me if we got out of El Dara alive! And we did…" Kat grinned evilly, his eyes narrowed and the corners of his grin shooting up. "So pucker up!"

He puckered his lips out for a kiss. She threw her fist for a punch and ran off.

"Well, you got a kiss, kid." Panthro deadpanned, looking down on the young male.

"I want one from her lips, not her fist!" Kat scrambled onto his feet and resumed chasing the lynx girl. "Lex-A!"

"He's never gonna get a kiss acting like that." Cheetara remarked as she and the other ThunderCats watching the kits run around.

After the fall of El Dara, the ThunderCats returned to the Elephant Village to rest and renew their strength. The doomed city's natives settled with the elephants, the various species making themselves at home by building homes and working on fields. A new life dawned. The only ones who stayed with ThunderCats were four prominent characters. Leopera and Ocelota were mates with Lion-O and Panthro, Lex-A was the granddaughter of a Thunderian general and Dobby was her best friend, besides he had a crush on one of the ThunderCat kittens. Dobby was a sweet gentleman towards Kit, giving her flowers. On the other hand, Kit's twin brother was relentless in pursuing his crush, chasing her all over. Lex-A hid behind Ocelota, the older female laughing as Kat and Lex-A ran around her before taking off in another direction. Ocelota winked at Panthro and he grinned back.

Eventually, Kat cornered Lex-A, smiling as if he caught a canary in his teeth, those sharp fangs displayed in his devious grin until he puckered up again, learning in.

"Kinda reminds me of my first kiss." Tygra mused just as Kit leapt in with a froog in her hands, Kat kissing the slimy creature in Lex-A's place, in payment for what he did to her before. Kat's eyes flew open, crying out and flapping his hands madly at his mouth. Lex-A cackled at his reaction with Kit crying 'Serves you right!' with glee.

Cheetara glanced to her mate, a teasing smile playing on her lips. "When was that? You kissed more women than I could count."

Tygra, smirking, looped a hand around her waist, pulling her in against him. "Let me help you remember."

He planted a firm kiss which she returned with eagerness. Once they pulled away, Cheetara looked around her.

"Where's Lion-O and Leopera?"

"They're new mates in their 20s. They need the privacy."

A passionate fight between two cats.

Sweating bodies hidden behind a strong big tree, secretly getting part in an intimate moment. Hands clawing the earth and groping flesh. Fur and skin glistening. Lips snuck together in wild kisses, the female's hair curtained both their faces. The sounds they made together were both loud and hushed.

Soon the female rolled off the red-haired male, leaving him near breathless, his hands slipping off her hips.

"That…was…vigorous." He gasped, heavy breathing.

"You look like the sort of male who could handle it." She giggled with her hair in her face.

Lion-O chuckled and hoisted himself into his side, getting a better look at Leopera. His mate. "Now I understand why you're so desirable."

"Even though you're my first?" Leopera giggled.

They kissed and laughed together. Then Lion-O's smile fell. He stroked the side of his lover's voluptuous body.

"I would've taken you to the palace if I still have it." He said softly.

Leopera reached out to stroke the side of his face. "Anywhere is perfect with me as long as you're there, even in a wasteland."

His smile returned. "We better get back before a search party finds us half-naked."

The new mates got up and got dressed.

"Lion-O, have you seen my dress?" Without her cyan dress, her body showed a black bandeau across her chest.

"I see it, here it is."

Lion-O picked up her dress from the ground, tossed a good feet from their 'session.' But when he lifted the garment, something fell from it. Lion-O picked it, inspecting it closely. It was a flat and round crest, a black side of some kind of a lizard's head with fork-tongue sticking out on a purple surface.

"Hey, Leop, what is this?"

He turned to her, holding out the crest. Leopera suddenly went quiet. Then she snatched the object from Lion-O and just stared at it in her hands.

"Leopera?"

Leopera's lips slowly moved, words coming out. "It's the crest of Lizadro's tribe, Drago. He said that his ancestors descended from great lizards who can fly and breath fire." Tears begun to fell. "He gave it to me…before he…"

Before he died shortly after the battle in El Dara.

Lizadro was like a father to her and he considered her as his daughter. He protected her from danger and the lust of almost every man in El Dara, especially Muta.

"I just wish he was here now."

The memories of El Dara washed over her. Tears leaked down her cheeks.

Lion-O laid his hands on her arms, gently bringing her to cry against him.

"He would've wanted you safe. And happy." He told her sincerely.

She looked up to him, smiling through her tears. "We'll beat Mumm-Ra. I don't need a vision to see that."

Her lover returned her smile, and they kissed.

Unknown to the lovers, their touching scene was viewed in a crystal ball for an audience of one. Mumm-Ra stroked his chin, staring intensely at the couple.

Especially Leopera.

A puma she-cat stepped out of the shadows, approaching Mumm-Ra

"Master, we already know that the lynx child is with the ThunderCats and they now have the Soul Stone. What more can they offer?"

Mumm-Ra only said one word in response.

"Leroarda…"

Curious, she glanced to the crystal ball, Lion-O and Leopera still locked in their kiss.

"So Lion-O finally found a girl to fawn over?" She said in a bored tone.

"We move forward, Pumyra." Mumm-Ra finally said, standing up.

Although Pumyra had no feelings for the lion king, she felt a great wave of anger and jealousy when she saw him kissing that pretty leopardess.

Back at the Elephants' home, armies of the ThunderCats allies assembled in a camp. A camp that Kit, Kat, Lex-A and Dobby were running around in.

"Kat loves the froog! Kat loves the froog! Kat loves the froog! Kat loves the froog!"

"I DO NOT!"

Kit laughed as she ran ahead of her brother who was chasing her for making him kiss the froog.

"I wanted to kiss Lex-A!"

"I don't want you to kiss me! That's harassment!"

"Hey guys, wait up- Omph!"

Dobby collided with a solid force that knocked him on his back. The young pup stared up at the intimidating form of Dobo, leader of the dogs.

"Sorry, sir!" Dobby yelped.

Dobo stared at the pup unimpressed, not even changing his stoic face. But then his eyes twitched. And then he hoisted Dobo up by the right arm, holding him up in the air with incredible strength.

"Wow, you're strong, sir!"

Dobo moved one of his hands to fiddle with the glove on Dobby's hand, which snapped the sweet pup into a feisty frenzy.

"Hey, that's my glove! My mom gave it to me before she died!"

Dobo glanced to his left arm, wearing the same glove on his hand.

"Hey, put my best friend down!" Lex-A shouted.

"He's a friend of yours, kits?" Dobo asked the Thunderkittens, ignoring Lex-A.

"He's one of us! A ThunderCat!" Kit said.

"Wouldn't he be a ThunderDog?" Kat questioned.

"Uh, guys?" Dobby said, still hanging in Dobo's grasp. "A little help?"

"I said put him down!" Lex-A demanded.

"Hey!" Ocelota appeared, approaching the kittens and dogs with an angry look on her face. "Put the pup down!"

"Oh, he will listen to her!" Lex-A exclaimed. "Tell him, Ocelota!"

"Panthro, tell your friend to let go of Dobby!"

"Easy, love." Panthro said, trying to sooth a possible fight between his friend and mate.

However, Dobo wasn't angry.

He was curious.

"Dobby?"

He lifted the pup to eye level.

"Your name is Dobby?"

The pup of the name gulped when meeting eyes with the fearsome dog leader. "Mom named me for my father."

"Your father? What was your mother's name?"

"Roxane."

"Roxane…"

A beautiful Rottweiler vaguely entered Dobo's mind. He remembered gifting her one of his prized gloves just before she put on a cloak and ran for freedom…

"I gave this to her." Dobo set his misty eyes on Dobby. "And she was your mother."

Dobby stared back. "You're…my dad?"

A wave of emotion washed over Dobo. His mouth curled up in a true, genuine smile, and then he let go of the dog only to wrap him up in a tight hug.

At first, Dobby was shocked. But eventually he smiled, wrapping his around his longlost father's neck and hugging him back.

Until Dobo hoisted him on his shoulders, shouting for all's attention.

"I have a son! My son's a ThunderCat! My son is the first ThunderDog!"

His dog army surrounded them, cheering their leader on, just as overjoyed as him.

But Dobby wasn't so happy.

"Hey, Dad, put me down! Hey, guys! GUYS!"

The dogs carried Dobby away, still chanting, leaving the pup's friends stunned by the sudden event.

"What did we miss?" Lion-O asked as he showed up, hand in hand with Leopera.

"Little Dobby turned out to be Dobo's son." Panthro explained.

"That's wonderful!"Smiling, Leopera rest her head on Lion-O's shoulder. "He always said he never knew his father."

Lion-O smiled at her and kissed the peak of her luscious hair.

Tygra frowned at them. "Now that you're finally satisfied, Lion-O, we need to discuss our plans for our next step."

Lion-O pouted. "I didn't say anything when you and Cheetara leave for your rendezvouses."

"We can't be blindsided, not now when everyone's here or caught up in their own drama. Even Snarf is too busy with his little mate."

Tygra pointed to Snarf jumping around with Flou, the female flying with the help of her butterfly wings.

Leopera pouted at Tygra, hugging her friend-turned-lover by the arm, just as needy as him and showing her feistiness to Tygra.

Tygra growled and turned to his own mate. "Cheetara, can you distract Leopera for a few hours? If I take him from her, she'll fight me."

"And she'll beat you, just like she did last time." Lion-O smirked smugly.

"Last time, we were cubs and she used a busy street to her advantage!"

Lion-O snorted and resumed acting lovey-dovey with Leopera.

Tygra growled, literally turning red in the face.

"She's gonna break his heart again. I know it." He snarled, still suspicious of the fair leopardess.

"Has she ever broken his heart?" Cheetara inquired, folding her arms.

"Once, by leaving."

"She didn't leave. You scared her off!"

"And now she's back. She's like a boomerang. Of all the women in the world, he picked that one!"

"What's wrong with her, besides being a seer born in the slums and possessing the remarkable ability of defeating you?"

"Eh…"

"Admit it, you like her even a little bit. I like her as well. She's different from me and Pumyra. She's still so shy about her attraction to him towards anyone but you. She even tried to deny it to me with a fluster! She's so sweet, kind, gentle yet I'd seen how fierce she can be. Without a doubt, Leopera is the perfect queen for our king."

"Queen?!"

Never in a million years Tygra thought that the mad-eyed street-cat would be queen of Thundera, not if him, his father and people had anything to say about it.

Maybe that was the problem.

Everyone was set in the old ways, too stubborn to move forward.

Lion-O wasn't like that. Maybe that was why he was king.

To truly bright Thundera out of the darkness to the light.

"Just get her away! Please? If I did it, Lion-O and Leopera will take turns killing me!"

Cheetara giggled. To his amazement, she simply reached out, gently took Leopera's arm and pulled out from Lion-O's embrace.

"Come on, Leopera. I need a sparring partner that will not ogle me."

Cheetara easily led Leopera away. Lion-O tried to follow them, but Tygra grabbed hold of his collar.

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder, little brother." Tygra dragged his lovelorn brother away to a tent to discuss battle plans. "Now come on, I have a few ideas…"
