Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Valkyria Chronicles, enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own VK, Sega, Ryutaro Nonaka and Shuntaro Tanaka do.

The boy was knocked to the ground before grabbing his arm and then kicking him. If this was anywhere else but the empire? It'd be seen as inhumane, cruel…To the empire? Those who had no place within the empire… No families?

They were just fuel for the empire's war machine. Why care about those who wouldn't be seen as anything less?

"Test for the undying soldier… Test complete." He heard before another shock went through his neck. It caused him to crash to the ground. "The healing serum seems to be working, scars are at 0%. That will be great news to tell them." He heard while pain coursed through his muscles.

It hurt, man did it hurt. He could barely feel anything at the moment. His body felt on fire, it felt like all that danced through it was pain and agony. The boy tried to stand only to realize that he couldn't even move a muscle.

He knew for a fact that the empire was treating him like a Guinea pig. It hurt, but it still wasn't unusual. The empire treated anyone who wasn't part of the military as one of their soldiers.

Still? They were treating the 12-year-old differently. He and a young girl were the cream of the crop in the armies' crop. But he still didn't know what use the empire had for himself.

"Hmm…" He stated to himself while looking around as he grunted in pain. "Damn, that hurt…" He muttered to himself and slowly tried to climb to his feet.

Another zap sent him to the ground. The pain faded as soon as the shocks did. Whatever the imperials had tried on him? It was working, and that scared him far more then it usually would. The empire didn't play things gently. They took and controlled, for them to not treat him like a mere puppet? It meant that need something from him.

"You can't do this." He heard as he slowly crawled to a standing position. "I will not allow it! Their children! You've already taken them from their homes!" He heard before leaning against a pillar.

"Project Esir belongs to the empire…" The boy heard as he turned and looked around. "He is the newest breed of Supersoldier. Something that will make our soldiers immortal, impossible to kill! You will deny the empire their perfect soldier?" The boy heard from the commander of the project.

"They are 12 and 11!" He heard which caused a snort from the mouth of commander. "You don't treat them like soldiers, you treat them like meat on a science table. What do you need them for?! We have an army that can destroy even the federation. You aren't even considering allowing them rest!" He also heard which was true.

"I cannot believe you are this week willed, doctor." He heard while looking for the figures. "You are about to see a new empire gaze upon our splendor, something that requires sacrifice! This mere child is going to be something that will break the entire world in half! Nothing will be able to stop him… And you would rather he denied his destiny!" The doctor yelled to which he growled with amusement.

He still didn't know what was going to happen next. He could feel the pain once more as he struggled to climb up. The agony he felt was quite annoying, at least since it was ALL he seemed to feel at the moment. The boy knew he couldn't stay. He had to get free, he wanted to get free… And right now? That overrode any small sense of pain or suffering he felt.

"Damn child, know when you are beaten!" He heard before the boy brought a hand up to his neck. "You and the Valkyria are the gods I have waited for! I will not let you take away my moment!" He heard as he turned to look around the room.

He brought up a hand as he hummed and tore the control collar out. It continued to shock him, causing him to roar before he tore it from his aching skin.

"NO!" He heard as he turned and shook his head in amusement as he walked to the exit.

Phew. First chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be a little delayed and such. Next chapter will be in 2-12 weeks and will show the boy meeting Aliasse and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Minerva will have a weird update schedule and such and might be less words, next chapter will be 900-1200 words at the moment.
