Maura and Jane were sitting with Angela, Calin and Hope while having dinner. Hope looked up and saw a picture that surprised her a lot.

"Where did you get that, Maura?" Maura tilted her head slightly. "The picture beside the back door."

Maura turned around and looked at the picture. Turning back to her mother, even though the woman didn't know, "My mother gave it to me."

Hope nodded. "Do you know who the artist was?" Maura looked slightly scared to tell her but she looked to Jane who grabbed her hand and nodded.

Maura nodded back and took a deep breath. "My father." Hope looked slightly taken back.

"Who is your father?"

Maura looked the woman in the eyes and replied. "Patty Dole." Hope fainted. "I don't think I should have told her that the love of her life is my father."

Calin looked shocked. "So we're sisters?" Maura nodded. "Cool I have an older sister."

Everyone looked to Jane who was picking up Hope and placing her onto the couch. As Jane walked back over to Maura she pecked her forehead and then her cheek and finally her mouth.

"You're pretty brave." Maura smiled at the detective.

Getting up she and Jane walked over to the living room so they could check on Hope. Angela and Calin followed the two slightly confused that the two kissed. Angela had a slight reason that the two were dating because of how close the two were.

Hope sat up after a few minutes and looked at Maura and everyone else around the room. "You're... You're my... dead... daughter?"

Maura nodded slowly and then started to cry. Jane was holding her before anyone could react. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause you to faint."

The door then suddenly flew open. Everyone's head shot toward the door. "FIX HIM." Demanded the guy with the gun. Jane pulled her own gun on the guy.

"I will shoot you again Patty and whoever that bitch is." Jane yelled as she put herself between everyone and the mob boss.

"Just let Maura... fix... me." He saw Hope there but didn't say anything. Maura then rose and walked up to Jane.

"Then tell him to put his gun down or I'll let Jane kill him." Maura said strongly. Patty nodded and the guy put the gun in the belt of his pants. Jane slowly lowered her own.

Patty was sitting at the counter, shoving her finger into her mob father's bullet wound, causing him to cry out in pain. As she removed the bullet she stitched him up and wrapped it with gauze.

"Why are you here?" Jane asked, bored. Not scared of Patty being there because he gave them, Maura and herself, his blessing and said he would watch over them, when he put them into danger. Jane may have been slightly iffy on the guy with the gun, but other than that, she was fine with what was going on.

"Business. But I also wanted to see my little girl." Maura and Jane smiled leaving the whole entire room confused. They all of a sudden heard a click, looking over to the guy with the gun. By the time they realised what was going on Jane was on the ground. Maura was beside her before she dropped.

Jane had a death grip on the woman holding her. Maura picked up the gun and without a simple thought shot the man in the head. He fell to the ground, and Maura slowly placed the gun down while she checked Jane's leg.

Maura pulled the gloves she wore to fix her mob father's own wound. Moving her hand over Jane's bullet hole and stuck her finger into her leg without thought. Jane cried and pulled herself closer to the girl she loved. Patty then rose and brought his daughter her medical bag so she could fix her lover.

Angela was over near Jane once she realized what had happened. "Janey, this is why I worry!"

"I'm fine, Ma. Maura will take care of me. She always does." Angela smiled through her tears.

"Marua?" Hope asked, confused and frightened at the fact that Patrick was watching them. "You shot him." She went to check the other man. Angela then realized that they had witnessed her killing someone.

"Patty." Marua looked up at her father while throwing the last stitch into Jane's leg. "You should leave. She has to call this in." Patrick nodded and left the house the same way he entered. She turned to look at Calin. "Are you okay?" She nodded. "Hope? Angela?"

Angela chuckled. "Yes I am okay. I am surprised you shot him so quickly." She looked over at Hope who was just staring at the man as though he was the reason the world was the way it was.

"I cannot believe my daughter is alive, and takes after both of her parents." She turned to Maura and Jane. "Are you a dirty cop?"

"Excuse me?" Jane said gruffly. "I am not a dirty cop." She glared at the woman. "I've shot him before." She looked at her. "Because he took Maura, it's what earned his respect and why we both can shake each other's hands and shoot each other in the same breath."

"Are you okay?" Marua finally asked Jane, who nodded and kissed her cheek. "I guess those target practice days are coming in hand?" She jokes to Jane.

"So you're my daughter?" Hope said again, not asking anyone by herself, trying to figure if it was real.

Jane stood up and grabbed Maura's phone off the counter. Dialing Korsak and Frost. "Hey. There is a cop shooting and one of Patty's men is dead in Maura's kitchen." Jane said into the phone, who chuckled while hanging up. Everything else can be handled later. Right now, she needed to protect everyone.

In all honesty, I couldn't think of anything else to add to this so I figured I should just post it and see how it goes.
