Anyway, enough with my blabbing, Enjoy!

(Omni's perspective)

I woke up feeling a gritty texture all over the front of my body, and a strange sensation in my left arm. I lifted myself up in my arms. And glanced around at my surroundings.

In front of me was a slightly dense forest, to my right was a peninsula covered in rocky outcroppings, to my left was a small island with a single large rock outcrop and behind me was an endless ocean.

I glanced at my arm and found a strange gem on the inside of my arm just below my wrist. I scratched at it since it was the source of the bothersome sensation. It seemed to be partly inside the skin and stayed there. I stood up and raised my arm to my face to examine the strange diamond-shaped gem. Once I did it flashed to life, and a green smaller diamond shape appeared through the seams in it. It flickered and then a dark blue rectangle appeared above the gem. (1) I jumped back and the box followed at the same distance, It showed a profile of me: I was very short and very thin, I seemed to be a five-foot-tall midget with barely any muscle.

I looked at the box and tapped it with my other hand. I found that I was able to interact with it.

I was able to rotate my 'avatar' for lack of a better word.

I lowered my arm after reading something about my gem taking an hour to connect with something called an 'Obelisk Storage'.

Once it was lowered the blue box disappeared and I made my way to the island and climbed up the big rocks to get a better vantage point.

From there I saw these strange massive floating towers. Near the top of each one was a shape similar to the gem in my arm. Each was a different color. The one to my left was red, the one to my right was green and the one straight ahead is blue.

In the distance, strange roars could be heard through the trees.

Below me, someone came running out of the trees screaming as tiny little dots chased after him.

I quickly rushed down the side and ran to intercept the terrified person. On my way, I grabbed a few rocks littered around the beach and began to throw them at the tiny feathered reptiles chasing the man. I kept one and began to beat the rest with it. Eventually, they were either all dead or unconscious.

"Blunt force trauma…" I joked offhandedly.

"Thanks…OH MY GO- WHAT IS THAT!" the other taller one jumped in fright.

"No problem, I'm Omni," I said as I held out my hand slightly angled upwards so as to reach his.

As he reached out hesitantly to shake my hand he gave his name:

"Care."

"Wait a second yours is green?" he noticed.

"Yours isn't?" I asked.

"No," he answered as he raised his own to show me that it was purple. "I guess they're customizable."

Suddenly, a royal purple figure appeared behind Care.

"OH!" I exclaimed as I jumped backward and fell on my rear in the sand.

Care shot his gaze behind him to see the figure and jumped back.

"You summoned the Ancient One." I joked.

"Hello." The person said, taking off his purple helmet.

"I'm Thug."

"That's your name?" I asked.

"I prefer not to give out my real name… but you never know, Thug could be my real name," he replied vaguely.

"Nah, I'm calling you the Ancient one." Care mused.

"Alright." Thug chuckled.

"I'm Omni, and this is Care." I introduced myself.

"Nice to meet you. Here." He said as he tossed us each a pump-action shotgun and purple armor. Flak for me, and Riot for Care.

"Woah!" Care exclaimed as he rushed to put on the armor.

"Yay no more half nakedness." I joked as I put on my armor.

Once Care and I were clothed, Care whipped out his shotgun and pumped it.

"Awesome." he mused.

"Use those for protection, you will need it." Thug advised.

"Thank you so much," I said as I looked down at my shotgun.

When I looked up, he was gone. I turned to some rustling foliage. I raced into the small forest but found no indication that he'd been here in the last week, let alone the last 5 seconds.

I looked in front of me to see two eggs, one was blue with white spots, and the other was yellow with blue spots.

Care looked closely at them and the blue rectangle appeared over his wrist gem.

"Argentavis egg… Pteranodon egg…"

"What's an Argentavis?" I asked.

"I don't know… but it sounds cool." Care remarked.

He picked up both the eggs and dropped the white and blue one.

"Egg is too hot?" He thought aloud.

"We should build a fort, maybe it will be cooler for the egg," I suggest.

"It's going to be dark soon too, I don't want something to wander over here and murder us." He added.

"Agreed, I'll gather wood and fiber, you gather thatch."

After we did that, we created a small thatch fort at the edge of the forest, facing the beech.

"Welcome to our very humble abode." I present with mock fanfare.

"We are so gonna die." Care mused jokingly.

Once we entered inside, Care took some flint and hide from the Dodos out and made a campfire and two sleeping bags.

He then dropped the blue and white egg. "It's still too hot…"

"We'll figure something out, try the yellow egg."

He picked up the blue and white one and dropped the yellow and blue one.

"It's working! It must be the perfect temperature in here."

"Sweet." I mused.

"Soooo… do we just leave it here?"

"I guess. It should hatch in the morning."

Then he took out the spear I made and propped it up against the door.

"What are you doing?" I ask, confused.

"What if something tries to break in?" He defends.

"The door locks..."

Care examined the door closely, shrugged, and fell onto his bag.

We heard a distant roar, then a scream of what sounded like its prey, and then the sound of eating.

"Sweet nightmares!" Care joked and put out the fire.

The next day we woke to stomping outside our hut.

Care jumped out of his sleeping bag at the speed of light. "What is that..?" He whispered.

"I don't know…" I replied.

I quickly but quietly ran to the door and peeked through the bottom edge of the door.

"Well?" Care asked.

I saw two reptilious feet directly in front of our base, facing us.

Care pushed me aside and looked for himself.

"Remember what I said about us dying?"

"We are not going to die," I said as I grabbed the spear. "Open the door."

Once Care grabbed that handle, I held the spear in a throwing position.

Care whipped the door open and I threw the spear at the creature.

As soon as I threw the spear I had a moment to see what the creature was.

It was a giant black hawk… with a rider.

The human had caught the spear right before it impaled her face.

"This yours?" She asked, dismounting.

Care approached her from behind me with his shotgun aimed at her.

"That's far enough." He said.

"Woah! I'm friendly." She said.

"What do you want?" Care said in the same demanding tone, refusing to drop his gun.

"I want to trade." The rider said with her hands up.

Care dropped his gun and said, "We just woke up here, we don't have anything."

"I need some Dire Bear saddles."

"Dire Bear?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's just a giant bear. Can you guys make me some Bear saddles, please? I can give you some eggs in return."

Care looked at me and I shrugged in response.

"Alright." Care accepted, putting his gun in its holster on his back.

"Great! I'll come back at sunset."

"Wait!" I call out as she mounts her hawk, "how exactly do you craft these saddles?"

"You'll figure it out." She said with a smirk, then she flew off.

Care and myself wandered for a bit, gathering resources and killing Dodos.

"I got a bunch of stone." Care said, slumped over.

"I got some hide and meat for later," I responded.

Once we walk into our hut, we browse our crafting options.

"I'm not seeing Dire Bear saddles anywhere, or any saddles for that matter." Care said.

"Same here… "

"What's a refining forge?" Care asked, "I have just enough stone for it."

"Build it I guess."

Care placed it in the corner of the hut, beside the door on the left side.

"Do you have any wood? This looks like some kind of furnace." Care said.

I gave him some and he put it in. Then he took out some meat and put it in.

"It won't light." He said.

"Try the campfire," I suggested.

Care took some of the wood out and put it into the campfire with the meat on top.

He was able to successfully light it and the meat started to cook.

"Ok so… if only the campfire can cook meat, and this thing is a furnace. Does it only provide heat?" Care asked.

"Well… It's called a refining forge… Is there something we have that we can refine?"

"I've got some metal from mining stone." Care suggested.

"Sure, try that."

Once he put the metal in he was successfully able to light the forge.

"Haha! It worked!"

As we were both celebrating we heard a knock on the door.

Care opened it and we saw that it was Thug at the door.

"Oh hey! It's the Ancient One!" Care joked.

"Hey guys, I've got something for you." Thug said.

Then he stepped away to reveal a giant bear.

"A Dire Bear…" I mused.

"I thought you just woke, how did you know what this was?"

"We struck a deal with a giant hawk rider to make her three dire bear saddles." Care explained.

"Giant hawk? You mean an Argy."

"Argy?" I clarify.

"Yeah, an Argentavis." He explained.

Both me and Care shot our gaze at each other and looked at the white and blue egg.

"Yep. That's an Argy egg." Thug confirmed. "Now do you want the bear?"

"Why are you so nice to us?" Care asked.

"You seemed like decent guys, I've dealt with some real jerks around here. This is just a thanks for being nice."

"Thank you!" I exclaimed as I walked over to the bear.

"It's a female!" Care said, looking at its stats with his gem.

"So? You'll accept?" Thug clarified.

"Yes please!" Care exclaimed.

Thug then pulled up his blue rectangle above his gem and the bear fell unconscious.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"I unclaimed it. It will die from neglect soon, you need to claim it now."

"How do we do that?" Care asked, starting to freak out.

"Use your implant." Thug explained.

I, understanding what he meant by implant, looked to my green gem and claimed the bear.

It woke up and looked to myself and Care.

Care then grabbed some berries from its inventory and started eating them.

"Let's name it… Ursa Major, after the constellation." I announce.

"That sounds awesome." Care mused with his mouth still full.

"Congratulations, that's your very first tame." Thug presented.

Hearing that, Care ran inside very fast.

"You good?" I asked.

"The egg!" He exclaimed. I rushed toward him with the bear following.

The Pteranodon egg! I rushed inside and helped Care look for it.

Then as Care moved some wood out of the way, we saw a small little blue creature hiding in the pile, scared to death.

It trembled as Care slowly picked it up. He tried to feed it some berries but the creature spat them out. He then grabbed some meat and fed it some, it calmed immensely.

"What do you want to name it?" Care asked quietly as he removed some splinters from the creature's skin.

"Survivor," I said with confidence.

Then Care's blue rectangle appeared over his implant with the stats of our new tame.

"Survivor, male, maturation process 23.2%, imprint 10%." Care read aloud.

"Don't forget to turn wander off." Thug said as he walked in.

Care then did that.

"What kind of deal did you make with this rider?" Thug asked.

"Three Dire Bear saddles for some eggs," I explain.

"And you don't even have a smithy?" He said.

"A what?" Care asked, confused.

"Here…" Thug said as he dropped several resources at me.

I collected it and scrolled through the crafting options to find 'smithy'.

I placed it on the other side of the door.

"Now go into its inventory."

I went in and found the blueprints for several different kinds of saddles and structures and even weaponry.

I grabbed some resources from earlier and put them on the smithy.

I then started to sew together the hide and fiber to make a Dire Bear saddle.

"Hold on… I didn't know how to do that before…" I said.

Suddenly, Thug grabbed the saddle and put it on Ursa Major.

"There." He said.

"Cool." Care mused.

Then we heard stomping from afar, and then a roar. I rushed toward the sound to see what it was.

It was a very large bipedal reptile, and it was charging straight for me.

Care just pumped his shotgun and stood his ground. I did the same and stood behind Ursa Major.

As soon as the creature came in for a chomp, Ursa jumped forward and we jumped behind onto our backs, shooting the creature in the face as we slid backward.

It roared in pain and frustration as Ursa took chunks of its flesh off from its legs.

The blood from its face wounds spatters everywhere as it attempted to attack Ursa who was at its feet.

At one point Ursa clawed up the creature's leg and onto its back, taking chunks of its flesh off in the process.

Ursa then puts all her weight onto its head so it loses balance and crashes in front of us.

Once it was pinned Care walked up and aimed his shotgun at its eye, and fired, creating a crater in its head.

Once it was killed, us and Ursa harvested the corpse.

"This is a Rex?" I asked astounded.

I looked behind us to look for Thug, proud of what we accomplished, but he disappeared again.

I then went inside and crafted the other two saddles.

Once I did that, it was sunset, and the rider came in on her Argentavis.

"Hey there!" She said.

Care waved in response.

"Woah! Where'd you get this?" She asked referring to Ursa who was chewing on a piece of prime meat.

"Thug gave it to us."

"Thug huh? Interesting."

"Here's your saddles," I said holding up two of them.

"Not yet, let's go to my base."

"Sweet!" Care exclaimed.

"I can only pick up one of you with Hawks, so the other one has to be on foot," she said referring to her Argy.

"Who said anything about walking?" I said with a smirk.

I dashed along the grass atop Ursa Major, we blasted by trees and predators which had no chance of catching up to us. The rider was flying high above the trees to show me the way.

Eventually, we came to a large stone wall. The rider flew behind the wall as Care was screaming to put him down.

I walked around the outside of the wall to find a large door.

Once I approached the door, it opened with the rider behind it.

"Come in!" She invited me.

I walked in to see several different creatures. Including five Argentavises and a Rex.

I walked up to where Care was, breathing heavily.

"You good?" I ask.

"I *gasp* don't like *gasp* heights." He explained in between breathing.

"Well, here's the saddles," I say giving her the two and began unsaddling Ursa.

"Ah, it's fine." She said stopping me from unsaddling Ursa, "I didn't really need them anyway."

"You what when?" Care asked, "So I almost died for nothing?"

"Not for nothing," she said, giving him another Argentavis egg.

"Uhhh, we can't hatch this." I said, "It's never cold enough."

"You need air conditioners, you can use my hatchery for now if you want." The rider said.

"We never properly introduced ourselves." I start, "I'm Omni, and this is Care."

"Nice to meet you! I'm Mika." Mika said.

Then she started to lead us into a blue building.

Then we encountered another human.

"Who are these people Mika?!" He said.

"Friends." She said calmly.

"Well what are your friends doing here?!" He said mockingly.

"They don't have air conditioners, they're just gonna hatch an egg and then they'll leave." She explained.

"Make your own and get out! This is my base, not yours!" He demanded.

Mika then turned to us and said, "This is Blue, he's kind of a jerk."

"I SAID GET OUT!" He yelled at us.

"Oh shut up. Guys, follow me." Mika said as she walked up a winding staircase.

We followed her to the roof as Blue was still screaming, and once we walked into another room, she locked the door and turned on a machine behind us. This turned on lights and three metal boxes which expelled cold air.

"There you go," she said.

We both placed our eggs and began to admire their base.

There was one large metal base that was blue… so we assumed that was blue's house. Beside it was a similarly sized grey one, also made of metal. Seeing as no one else was in the large stone walls surrounding the fort we assumed it was Mika's. We began to admire their dinos as well.

Before Thug came along we didn't even know you could tame anything, let alone all the impressive creatures Blue and Mika had.

I approached Mika as she was tending to a Rex.

"Did you hatch and raise all of these?" I asked bewildered at the amount of time that would have taken.

"Some were hatched and raised, most were tamed directly."

"What do you mean 'directly'?" I asked.

"When you knock something out and basically drug and force-feed it," she said with a chuckle.

"Here, I'll show you. What do you want to tame?"

"Umm… I don't know, I hope it's not too much trouble."

"Nah, I'm not doing anything," she assured me.

"Well… I don't know what any animals there are or which ones are useful?"

"Well, what are you gonna use the animal for? Are you gonna use the animal for collecting resources and if so which? Are you gonna use it for combat and if so what kind? Are you gonna use it for transport and if so would you use it to fly, swim or run?"

"Uhhhh… combat I guess."

"What kind of combat?"

"Surprise me."

"I think you'll like the Spino." She said with confidence.

"What is that?" I ask excitedly.

Then she walked me over to two tall alligator-like reptiles with large sails on their backs.

"Woah…"

"These are Spinos," she said.

"Whoa…"

"You said that." she joked.

"Where do I get one?" I turned to her.

"They usually live along the rivers, there's one behind the base actually. We can go check there."

"Yes Please!" I jumped and ran to the back of the base only to realize there was no back door.

"The exit is this way," she called.

"C'mon man!" Care called from the gate atop Ursa Major.

"What about the eggs?" I ask.

"They'll hatch when we get back. Now get over here!" He urged.

I quickly rushed over and ran out of the entrance before it was even fully open. Since Ursa Major was bigger, Care and her had to wait till the door opened a little bit more.

As soon as it did though they blasted past me and ran to the back of the base.

While I was fast for a normal person, I was nowhere near as fast as a giant bear. So it took me a bit longer to meet Care and Mika at the back of the base. Mika had beat all of us there with her Argentavis.

"I'm here… there's no river?" I said.

"It's just through the trees," Mika assured.

"A'ight race ya!" Care shouted as he and Ursa blasted off into the woods. I raced to catch up but quickly fell behind.

"You're never gonna survive on the island if you don't rely on your creatures," Mika remarked as she glided above me on Hawks.

Suddenly she swooped down and her bird grabbed me in its claws and flew above the trees.

"Oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god…" I muttered as we very nearly flew into every tree in the forest and barely grazed each one.

We flew over the river bank and the oversized hawk dropped me from its talons into the sand before it landed a few feet away.

Almost immediately after Care burst from the trees.

"Oh c'mon, flying on a bird is cheating!"

"Technically I wasn't on the bird." I countered.

"Yeah well… you suck!"

"You're a great friend too." I mocked.

"Aren't I?" He joked back.

"Hey, guys. I hate to interrupt this very entertaining conversation… but Spino." Mika reported from atop her bird.

I looked across the river to see a wild Spino charging right at us.

"Welp there goes my short life." I started dryly.

"HOLY-" Care screamed as he pulled Ursa out of the way.

"Run!" I shouted as I broke into a dead sprint across the beach kicking up sand into the Spino's face as I went.

I could hear it snapping at me, and every time it did I jumped narrowly avoiding the massive jaws that were closing on my rear.

"You've got a freaking giant Bear, DON'T JUST STAND THERE!" I shouted at Care as I raced past him.

"Sorry, sorry!" Care shouted as he ran up to us and body checked the Spino away with Ursa Major.

"What happened to taming it?" Mika shouted as she observed from above.

"That thing was about to eat him? Also how were you outrunning it, it literally has twice the amount of legs as you?" Care replied.

"I'm aerodynamic!" I replied as the Spino got up from the ground.

Mika flew down to us and threw a small spear with a large feathery tip down to me.

"What's this supposed to do against that?" I asked.

"Tranq it."

"How?"

"Jump on its back and stab it in the back of the head," she explained acting as though I were a child.

Once the Spino is about to snap at me again I dash to the left.

It chases me for a while before it goes for its next snap. Once it does so I backflip onto its neck and stab it several times in the back of the head.

After a few moments, its demeanor changed. Instead of struggling to snap and claw at me behind its neck it instead began to run away from Care and Mika with me clinging to its sail and neck for dear life.

It went a short distance before it collapsed and slid through the sand.

Mika flew over and landed next to it

"Is it safe to let go now?" I asked terrified as I was still clinging with my arms and legs wrapped around its neck.

"Yeah, he's asleep now."

I slowly let go and climbed off the massive slumbering beast.

This was the first time I got a good look at it. It was a dark red with a green sail and the tip of the sail and its nose were yellow.

"Now what?" I asked as Care ran forward atop the bear.

"I've got some meat here, feed it to it."

"Just shove it down its throat?"

"Gently but yes. And don't overfeed it, you have to feed it slowly. Feeding it too quickly will upset it and make it wake up." she answered.

I did as instructed and after a while, it began to make a rumbling sort of purr.

I fed it once more and it grumbled and stood up. I jumped back and hid beneath Mika's bird.

Mika chuckled before hopping off the bird and approached the Spino.

"It's a beautiful color," she noted.

"Eh Red and yellow aren't my favorites… at least it's got green though."

"If you like green why'd you make pink armor?"

"Oh. This was a gift from Thug."

"You met Thug?" she asked, surprised.

"Yeah, snuck up on me and Care shortly after we met," I explained.

"Ah, that explains you guys wearing Riot and Flak, while only having a thatch house. That actually made me worried for my animals. Most people who gather armor and weapons but no tames and very simple base are usually there to be a nuisance."

"Well unless my unfortunate appearance unnerves you we won't be a nuisance." I joked.

"As long as I don't look at you too closely, I begin to see the veins," she replied in the same joking manner.

"How I'm wearing armor?" I asked.

"That's how thin you are," she replied.

"That doesn't make sense?" Care realized.

"Few things do on this island," she answered.

"Yeah, I guess a Dino-infested island does not exactly follow the same rules as other places." Care said.

"That's not all, there are robot dinosaurs and mythological creatures, there are even these weird Orange cloud things. That is extra strong. There are things that just simply shouldn't exist."

"Like my friend here." Care joked as he bumped his elbow into my shoulder to prove how disfigured I am.

"Yeah yeah laugh, but you won't be laughing when I'm dodging dinosaur fangs."

"Or bullets," Mika added offhandedly.

"People fight each other here?" Care asked.

"Yeah, like I said some just want to cause trouble," she answered.

With that, we returned to Mika and Blue's base with the Spino in tow.

"Where were you?" Blue shouted at us as we walked in the main gate.

"I helped them tame their first legitimate creature," Mika replied unphased by Blues aggression.

"A Spino? Those are useless, Rexes is where it's at."

"And yet your tribe has two… and the tribe has only two members," I noted.

"Shut up." he snapped.

"Ignore him," Mika advised.

We then approached the blue base where the eggs had been left. When we climbed the stairs however we found the eggs were gone and the AC's were turned off!

"Ahhh… they must have run out of power!" I exclaimed.

"Awww well that's just great…" Care grumbled.

"What's all the commotion?" Mika asked as she climbed the stairs.

"We didn't check how much fuel the AC's had and the eggs probably died when the AC's shut down," I explained.

"Oh… I'm sorry, I didn't check the generator."

"I'll fill it now, for next time." she apologized.

She walked to the far side of the room where the generator is.

"Umm guys… it's, it's nearly full," she called to us.

"Wait, what?" Care asked.

"Come look," she called.

We went below and found that the generator was indeed almost full of gasoline.

"So… why'd the AC's turn off?" Care asked.

"It would have to have been someone turning them off," Mika explained.

"And you were with us the whole time, so out of the people we know of, either Blue or Thug." I mused.

"Yeah, Thug is usually hidden away at one of his bases, he doesn't really just casually visit people's bases. Blue on the other hand… he's got the mind of a child, he really doesn't care about others just that, 'what's yours is mine and mine is mine.''' she answered.

"Blue was left unattended," I noted.

"He let our eggs die?!" Care asked.

"Probably not, he's more of a pranker than a griefer," Mika said.

We then saw Blue run to his blue base with a bag full of something. Care rushed over to him with me following. He went into the base so Care hid on the side of the base, right beside the door. Once he came back out, Care grabbed him by his chest plate and slammed him into the wall, with his shotgun pushing his chin up.

"Where are our eggs."

Blue then kicked him away and punched him in the face.

Care got up from the blow and wiped off the blood from his nose. He then quickly took his gun out again and shot his foot almost completely off.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" he yelled at us.

"Just give them the eggs…" Mika sighed.

He then hobbled back into his base and brought them out.

Care ripped the bag from his grasp and decked him in the face for good measure.

"We'll be leaving now…" I said threateningly.

"And Mika, we won't hold this against you, Blue on the other hand…"

"Here, as an apology," Mika said as she dropped four boxes.

We picked them up and found three AC's, a generator, some electrical equipment, and some gasoline.

"Hey, those are ours!" Blue complained.

"Yeah. Ours. I can give them some if I feel like it." she retorted.

"And just like those were our eggs," I added.

"Let's go." Care said seriously as he walked off.

Once we left, I was riding Ursa slowly beside Care as he ranted.

"Why do people have to be jerks like that? I mean, isn't that Mika's tribe? Why does Blue feel so entitled to everything? EVEN OUR STUFF!"

"I know..." I agreed.

Care then hopped onto Ursa behind me and we dashed back to our hut with our new Spino trailing behind.

Once we got back, I set up the generator and the rest of the electrical stuff.

Care fed Survivor, who was much larger than before.

He brought him over to me as I turned on the AC units.

Care then gave me an egg and said, "this is yours."

I took it and we both placed our eggs at the same time.

It took a couple hours, but at sunset, the eggs started to crack.

We both looked intently at our eggs with anticipation.

"I wonder what they will look like." Care said with enthusiasm.

"Probably small versions of the adults?" I replied.

"Ya don't say?" Care joked.

Then my egg opened and out tumbled a black and silver baby Argentavis.

"Aww," I said.

Then Care's egg burst open as well and two full black Argy's rolled out.

"Twins!" Care said at the highest volume possible without startling the babies.

Care gave me a pile of meat to feed them with and we did just so.

Once they were fed and asleep inside our base, we finally had an opportunity to look at their stats.

My Argy was a male, with the edges of his wings and chest silver, with the rest of his body a faded black.

Care's Argy's were both the exact same full black color, but different genders. He named the male Blackbolt, and the female Nightwing.

"What are you gonna name yours?" Care asked.

"Judge," I said.

"Why Judge?" He asked, confused.

"Because, once I get two more, I will have Judge, Jury, and Executioner."

"Woah…" Care mused, "that's awesome."

"How's Survivor doing?" I asked.

"47% matured, and 50% imprinted."

"How are you getting it to imprint?"

"By feeding it, petting it, walking it, lots of stuff." He explained, "We should extend the base to put our babies, they will keep growing and they will eventually become too big to fit in here."

"Agreed, I'll make a small pen for Ursa and the Spino to guard," I announced.

Once I did that and the babies were inside their little separate hut, Care started to cut down several trees, and make stakes out of them. He then tied them together to make a large spike wall and placed lots of them all around our base.

Once that was done, it was dark and we went inside for the night.

We ate what was left of the meat we cooked before and went to sleep.

As I began to drift off into sleep, I heard creatures chirping in the distance. The sound of insects buzzing and the howling of other animals; predator and prey alike. The sounds of nature... when it wasn't actively trying to kill you.
