Honest thoughts on Genshin Impact? It's a good game even with the tons of similarities it had with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the shitty gacha gimmick that I myself can't help but endorsed in like a damn simp. I'll just judge it as an open-world RPG with multiplayer options. Speaking of, multiplayer is kinda underwhelming, I think I much prefer to play alone. I thought it would be more fun but it wasn't...or it's probably just me being an introvert.

Well, at least they have good waifus...

Man, waifus.

Waifus everywhere...

And husbandos as well.

Okay, I'll shut up and just let you enjoy the story.

(Just a small heads up for my fellow Terrarians, the story's more anime-ish so if you don't like that, I don't think this is for you. I implore you to find other stories that fits your preferences. Also, for others, some things said here are not meant to be taken seriously. Just take it as a comedic purposes. You'll know when you get there.)

Prelude:

"The Start of Another Journey"

Large lunar beam scrape across the lands, grazing and turning what was once green grass field into charcoal land. The beam travelled across then onto the space, splitting any planetoids and small steroids. Arrows, bullets and many other projectiles including magic shooting out in all directions from the scene. Impacts from many kinds of projectile spread everywhere, chaos was the perfect word for whatever was happening.

Then, one last blow connected - few glowing crimson knives stuck on its heart. The onslaught suddenly stopped, nothing was moving or making any sort of sounds. A few seconds passed and out of nowhere, loud and large explosions erupted from its being, lunar-colored explosions that illuminated the dark skies. Its scream echoed endlessly through the skies. Despite the horror displayed in its tone the inhabitants of this planet who heard it cheered happily. Then, a blinding light shine, covering half of the globe in white catching its inhabitants by surprise.

Champion of Terraria

Slayer of Worlds

"Serves you right." A mentally-exhausted young man exclaimed, smiling tiredly as he fell on his back onto the wooden platform. "Ugh! Ha...that was...tough." The young man heaved a sigh, "It got me...haa...in the first half, n-not gonna lie..." He let out a chuckle after that.

With an inch of health, specifically about 24 health points left and is regenerating now thanks to the Shiny Stone, it was indeed a tough battle. One that would be remembered as one of the toughest beings fought by the young man whom most would refer to as the Terrarian. Even with some modicum of knowledge he had on Terraria and that his body worked like in the game, Moon Lord was still very hard to defeat especially when the point of view he used to fight was 2-dimensional and just earlier, it was full on 3-dimensional.

Yes, this world was supposed to be a game.

But it was now a mix of game and reality.

Everything he knew about the game exists and everything he knew about reality also exists, both aspects coexist with one another. He was transported here to save the Terraria Universe from the Cthulian Deity which is commonly known as "Moon Lord" and it wasn't even a hard task...it was near impossible. How could he, a loser getting bullied in school 24/7, save a world in which resides creatures that could've ate his bullies for breakfast? No one would've thought that to be possibility, not even him.

But he did it.

He had finally completed his objective.

It was a long journey, but it was a journey like no other.

He came from a weak wimp to a powerful warrior capable of slaying divine entities. Perhaps the reason why he got transported here wasn't just to save the world but to also change himself for the better. He had never stood up for himself before, not to his bullies and certainly not to monsters. But he was forced to in this world, in order to not experience a horrifying death which he had experienced a lot of times. He had to stand up with his own feet, he needed not to keep losing, he needed to be better and fight.

Now, it all came to an end.

It was long, turbulent, frustrating but amazing journey.

This is his Journey's End...

And it resulted in here.

Into yet another world...

How did it even come to this?

After having the God of Terraria; Redigit or simply known as Red return him back to his home world, instead of there it seems something happened and he ended up in this foreign world. This is frustrating to say the least, after he said his goodbyes and whatnot, having to prepare himself to face back his world after all the time he spent in the Terraria Universe. Well, it surely isn't as annoying as having to defeat the Empress of Light in daytime or having to encounter those damn Wyverns during early Hardmode...but surely, things aren't going to get worse right?

The Slayer of Worldshas Arrived

The Champion of Worlds has Arrived

In the Terrarian's interface, there were those two notifications on the below left corner of which one of it confuses him. Two title with one of them being something he familiarized with but the other one was not something he had heard of. He only knows his other title or achievement; "The Champion of Terraria", this one's different.

"What?" The Terrarian said out loud with a confused frown, "The Slayer of Worlds is definitely me but...who the hell's the Champion of Worlds?"

"A problem occured, *!^%." Out of nowhere, the voice of the God of Terraria, Red entered his mind.

"Red? The hell happened?" The Terrarian asked before he frowns, "Wasn't I supposed to go home right away?"

"Yes, that was the plan but some other deity thinks it's okay to just snatch you out of our hands." Red replied, sounding annoyed. "Apparently it's a deity of some gacha game called "Genshin Impact" or whatever."

"Genshin Impact? Do you mean Honkai Impact 3rd?" The Terrarian, having to familiar with gacha games from his home world, furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "What, some other developers just snatched me for no reason?"

"Not really for no reason, they do have their own but there needs to be some kind of agreement to this. They just took you the moment we laid our eyes off of you and didn't even apologized." Being annoyed was definitely an underestimation, he should've been mad about it but the Terrarian gussed that Red is a calm person though for someone like that, this is definitely them being really angry. "The Re-Logic Pantheon doesn't tolerate this kind of behavior especially considering how powerful you are as our asset." His tone was no joke, the Terrarian guessed right that Red was pissed. "That world of theirs wouldn't be able to hold a candle against you, and as for your first question; no. They're not the same game. However, they have the same developers; the miHoYo Pantheon."

"You sound pissed off, Red." The Terrarian stated with a smile. "Are you really that annoyed? Much more than I am?"

"After what happened with the Google Stadia? I'm in a pretty bad mood alright."

The Terrarian laughed off a bit, he didn't know what happened with the Stadia port but it definitely is not good. Either way, he thinks this is a perfect chance for himself. Although he was prepared to return back to his home world, he never really gets to fully enjoy his powers and dominate a world much like those isekai protagonists of animes he usually binged as guilty pleasures. So he decided to stay here a bit.

"Well, since I am powerful in this world, I could stay for a while and just get along with what those deities want with me." The Terrarian said with a shrug, surprising Red. "The time in my home world aren't progressing, right?"

"Yes, indeed." Red replied, "But are you sure? Weren't you eager to go back?"

"Yeah, I'm sure. I need a bit more time before I return and since I'm in a new world while still having my powers, I wanna feel more of that power fantasy y'know?" The Terrarian chuckled, "So yeah, just let me have a bit more fun will you?"

"..." Red was silent for a few good seconds before a sigh can be heard, "Fine. But we're going to have a very long discussion with the miHoYo Pantheon. I was going to ask your opinion of your predicament but you beat me to it." Red let out a chuckle, "Alright, you do you. Just don't be too careless."

"Yeah, yeah, I know." The Terrarian smiled, "Don't mistake me for some kind of dumbass isekai protagonists, I had my fair share of getting my ass kicked when I let guard down."

"That you did." Red laughed, "Oh, and it seems they also have someone other than you they snatched in as well called-"

"The Champion of Worlds, right?" The Terrarian cuts in, imagining Red nodding as his reply. "Are they strong?"

"Not sure how strong but do keep in mind they are in here, sharing the same predicament as you are. Other than that, with all of your...equipment, you have nothing to worry about." Red replied, "Now, go and have fun. Me and Cenx are going to get the others and then we'll be visiting miHoYo." The Terrarian nodded, "Farewell, for the time being."

"Yeah, see ya."

After that, Red's transmission disappeared and the Terrarian was left to his own thoughts. A new world, he got isekaied once more but what's more exciting about this one is the fact that the game he's in is created by miHoYo. He would guessed that the things here are more closer to fantasy anime rather than western fantasy since he had played Honkai Impact 3rd. From what he'd experience in the game, the waifus are abundant and the characters are anime-ish enough that it would be appealing to him as an otaku.

"Now, what kind of waifus can I find here?" He asked himself as he oversees the sun with his hand above his eyes only to see an incoming Dragon, causing him to blink as he processed what was about to happen "Definitely not a loli dragon, right?" The Dragon was coming closer, its size shadows over him. "..."

"Fuck."

*BOOOOOMMMMM*

And so, the Terrarian began his journey with a bang...quite literally.

"Yo Dimiel!"

"What the fuck, whaddya want Sam?"

"Look at the new trailer of Genshin Impact! They have a new event and it features a crossover with your favorite game!"

"What? What game? Lemme take a look."

"Ya gotta see it, bruh! I tell ya!"

"What the...Terraria!? They're having a crossover event with Terraria!? You for fuckin' real!? FUUUCKK YEAHHHH!"

"Duuuuuudeeee, the Terrarian looks goddamn cool! Looks like Re-Logic and miHoYo works hard on the designs! We got all the Celestial Armor sets too! Solar, Nebula, Vortex and Stardust! And, holy shit! They even have the Hero from that light novel!"

"Alright, this time, imma spend my whole money to get the Terrarian even if it costs me my liver."

"Bruh, you a simp and gay. Though, can't say I'm not with you there because I definitely am."

"Fuck off, don't compare me to you. I'm not the one who donated his whole month's allowance to some twitch thots."

"S-Shut up."

"Either way, I'm fucking excited for this update!"

Prelude End:

"The Start of Another Journey"

(20th of April, 2021 notes)

I've had this draft stuck in my docs and I somehow forgot it even exists. So here you go, Terraria fans and Genshin Impact fans. And no, don't compare the two games together, I love both games. Though, I do dislike the gacha aspect of Genshin Impact but it's just the nature of miHoYo after Honkai Impact 3rd. Can't say it's not a good decision though because they're making money off of it.

Remember, this story is more comedy centric though there are action scenes and power fantasy moments.

Anyway, do leave a like and a fav, reviews are always appreciated.

See ya in then next chapter.

(Also, I might fix this chapter 'cause I didn't bother reread it. I'm currently busy with "The Shape of Something Genuine".)

(Some fixes were made as well as adding in some sentences to make it more bearable to read.)
