Finally it is here! The Re-Write of The Female Alpha. It took me like 4 to 5 years to finally come up with a good idea to re-write it. Last night I felt like it was finally time to do so. Started re-reading the first version of it and immediately knew what needed to be changed. What could stay the same.
All the characters are still here! Good old Blake, Luna, Michael, her grandma.
Wallis (Paul's brother in my story). He still will hold a grudge towards Luna.
And of course Jacob Black. Her soulmate.
I have yet to see what to do with Luna's powers. How the Volturi will find out that she is the alpha of alpha's, but that will be for later in the story. I still have enough time to think and write about it. Luna won't find out about her alpha voice powers until she is in La Push. Luna is already a wolf though.

And I already am sorry for any grammar mistakes. My native language is Dutch, not English, but still prefer to write in English.

Full summary:
After being banished from her hometown, by her own chief, Luna comes to Forks, to live with her grandmother. However, she still starts her classes at La Push High School, where she meets a few of the pack members. She keeps her distance from them, once she noticed what they are and they feel the strange energy surrounding her.
Leaving them to wonder what this girl is. What will happen when she meets the love of her life? When she becomes closer and closer to the pack? Will she be able to trust them with her secret as to why she moved to Forks? And once they find out, will the pack still want to accept her for who she is?

Prologue

People were whispering. Children were hiding behind their parents bodies. And those who sat closest to me, had scraped their chairs as far away from me as they could.

A single tear escaped my eyes and a hand softly grabbed mine. When I looked up I saw my father looking at me. He gave me a wry smile, which had to be supporting. He never had been good at supporting people, but we just accepted him the way he is.

Another hand, grabbed my free hand and I knew, without even looking up that it was my mother. I looked over my shoulder to see my friends standing together in a group. Close to each other and softly whispering.

If I could, I could easily hear them, but with the situation I was in, it wouldn't be good. Sure, one of them could be easily commanded by me to tell me what was going on, but that was one thing I had promised myself, not to command any of them, even though I had the power to do so.

Suddenly all the whispers faded away and a tensed silence settled in when a door opened. I looked up and watched how the chief of the tribe came striding in to the room.

He looked straight ahead, to the large desk in the front, where the other elders were already sitting behind. His dark, black hair had been braided in to two tails. He wore traditional, Native American Indian clothes, something he only did wear during special occasions, such as this one. My trial.

"Sit down please," he ordered once he had arrived at his spot behind the desk. Only now I had noticed that everyone had stand up, but me. I quickly looked down to my hands. Ashamed that I had not even stand up for the chief who was about to discuss my fate in this tribe.

"Family, friends, people, today, we're here to discuss the fate of, who once has been seen as family, but now she is nothing to us. Because of her a very important tribe member passed away," He began and whispers quickly started to rise up again, until he ordered everyone to be silent. I looked to my right. Saw Nathan's parents holding each other closely. Crying. Blake was standing behind them. His hand resting on his mother's shoulder.

"He is not even trying to tell them that Nathan tried to save me." I muttered to myself. Dad gave me a stern look. Warning me not to continue on on the subject. Having heard what I said.

"Thanks to her, we have sadly lost Nathan. A beloved pack brother, son of the tribe. I am so sorry for your loss." He directed that to Nathan's family. His mother started to cry even harder. Few seconds later Blake and Nathan's dad led her out of the tribe meeting room. Blake unfortunately stayed.

"We however have to say thank you to Blake and his pack. They could stop the vampire from entering the village. Killed and burned it. Unfortunately they were too late to save their brother." the chief nodded proudly to my ex-boyfriend. A few people clapped for Blake. Not a word was being said about me though. How I was the one being attacked by the vampire while I was on patrol. That I was the one trying to stop it from entering the village, but that Blake did not even want to help me. Not until his brother decided to help me out. By the time they pack finally arrived they were too late.
Nathan had made one wrong move which gave the vampire room enough to bite him. It's venom spread quickly and Nathan had sadly passed away by the time the pack arrived.

I growled softly. The story the chief told the tribe was so not true. It was not what happened at all. Which earned me a few warning looks from my pack brothers. Some of them growled back. The pack and the chief also knew the truth about Nathan's death, but the chief clearly did not want the tribe to know how Nathan actually died. The chief was clearly on a quest to blame me for Nathan's death.

Even though I was not the one who killed Nathan. I was not responsible for his dead at all.

"Quiet!" the chief shouted, once he had heard the growls between me and the pack. I quickly turned my head away and went back to watching my hands.

"Luna, stand up," he ordered me and without putting up a fight, I did. There was no use in disobeying your chief.

"You have one chance to defend yourself. Blow it and we can easily make a decision about your punishment," he explained and I gulped, watching him directly in the eye now. What could I say? Even though I was no where to blame for the vampires to suddenly show up, they still thought it was all my fault.

"I, I..." I nervously started out. I tried to find the words I needed, but couldn't.

"There is so much I have to say, but I doubt you'll listen." I told our chief in all honesty after a few seconds while I held my head up high. I had no idea what Blake had told him. What kind of lie was being told. It only could have been bad.

"What do you want to say?" he asked, urging me to go on. I hesitated. Looked at Michael for a moment. He nodded. Encouraged me to tell the truth.

"I had nothing to do with Nathan's dead. I didn't kill him. The vampire did kill him while Nathan was trying to save me."

"NONSENSE!" Blake shouted all of a sudden. We all turned our heads in my direction. He looked at the chief for a moment before directing his eyes at me.

"You and the vampire worked together. I have seen it with my own eyes. Why else are you still alive and he is not, huh?" I shook my head.

"You just don't want to admit it that you were too late for saving the both of us." I said calmly. It was the truth though and he didn't want to admit it. Blake growled loudly. Michael quickly stood up. Forced me behind him while the rest of our pack held Blake back. Prevented him from phasing right in the middle of the room.

"ENOUGH!" The chief shouted. "Blake, calm down. Luna. Quiet now. You have said enough." With that the chief looked around the room.

"To all those in favor of Luna's exile raise your hand." I gulped when I saw almost everyone's hand raise up in the air. Except for my dad's hand, mom Michael and Kevin's hand. They refused to raise their hand. Michael crossed his arms in front of his chest. Shook his head.

I looked up at the chief. Fear was written all over my face. He took a deep breath before he said the words that would change my whole life.

"It is decided then." He began. The chief looked

Around the room once more, before resting his eyes at me.

"EXILE!" he only said aloud and I felt the ground disappearing under my feet. Was he... did he just... I tried to find words to say. Grasp myself about what had just been said. Looked blankly ahead. Everything I had ever worked for here seemed to disappear in front of me.

I felt a pair of strong arms pulling me away, and even though I didn't know who it was, I was glad he did. The people around us began to talk loudly. In the distant I heard my mother crying out loud and my father shouting at the chief. He never shouted. He did respect his chief.

Exile... banned from the one place I called home... and why? Because of some stupid mistake I had made and those vampires.

"Luna, LUNA!" someone was shaking me and when I finally got back to the real world I watched my brother in to the eyes. Michael. He looked to be in pain. Emotional pain.

His warm, muscled arms wrapped around my torso as he pulled me in for a hug. Maybe our last hug. I still couldn't believe it. Banished. From my home. My friends. And most importantly. My family...
