Rias Gremory, the Heiress to the Great House of Gremory, was the most envied woman in Hell. She was astoundingly beautiful. She led one of the most powerful peerages in Hell. As the Switch Princess, she was the co-star of one the insanely popular Oppai Dragon show. She was married to one of Hells heart-throbs. Rias even had a handsome son who was already making the Gremory name proud. Atop all of that she was actually being considered to become one the Satans in a few centuries. She had truly made a name for herself that was beyond just being a Gremory. Women of all Three Great Factions wanted to be just like her.
Yet, as she watched her jackass of a husband fondling another pair of breasts that weren't hers, Rias would definitely trade most of it away if that was the cost of never marrying him. She would never trade away her son, Ikusu, for anything. Nor would she trade away her peerage. The rest, she would give up in a heartbeat to be rid of the vile pervert she'd married. She'd gladly be an outcast from Hell to be rid of the man she had to call husband.
'There he goes, openly fondling another woman's tits at our anniversary party.' Rias fumed internally as she witnessed her husband molesting the purple haired cow. If there was any consolation of her part, it was obvious the groped woman was not happy to be molested, but feared angering the powerful man. 'Why even marry me if you aren't going to stay true to your vows, jackass?' Wanted to scream at her husband but there was little she could do.
The one consolation she had about the marriage was that she didn't enter it a virgin. She'd given it away to someone actually worthy of her. She hadn't loved the man at the time and it certainly had not been planned. It was a spur of a moment fling at her bachelorette party. Her Queen and Best Friend, Akeno, had talked the man into being one of the strippers. It certainly changed how she looked at him afterwards, even if they never repeated the night. That wonderful night with that man had been the only pleasure she'd had in twenty years. Her husband certainly never gave her any.
"Ara ara. Such a serious face on a night you are supposed to be celebrating." Akeno Himejima whispered as she replaced Rias's empty champagne flute with a full one. "It wouldn't have to do with that man's actions would it?"
"I have a question, Akeno, how do you put up with your man doing such things?" Rias was genuinely curious. Akeno had never shown even the slightest bit of jealousy when her man ogled or fondled other women. Everyone in Heaven and Hell knew Issei had multiple lovers and none of those women showed any jealousy. Not that Rias felt any jealousy when her husband slept around. No, what Rias felt was pure loathing for the man. "Is there something wrong with me that I can't do the same?"
"I remember that he loves me and that I love him. It helps that he truly loves all the women he fondles, and the he never intends to do anything with the ones he ogles." Akeno said with a cheery smile. "And no, there is nothing wrong with you. It's obvious you have no love for your husband and he shows no love for you or for any of his conquests. Without love all you see is the man who's making you unhappy enjoying himself."
"No… no I don't. I thought I once did. He was dashing, handsome, and kind, but the luster wore off after we were married." Rias scowled. "And now I am stuck with his cheating ass for the rest of our very long lives."
"Not necessarily.~" Akeno sing-songed. "You could press him for a divorce. He'll fight it. We both know him well enough to know he will, but it wouldn't be hard to force the issue."
"I have considered that option." Rias admitted softly. Contrary to one would assume, Devils abhorred divorce. There was nothing more shameful than a failed marriage. Devils prided themselves on their word and ending a marriage was going back on that word. Divorcees were literal oathbreakers and thus not trusted. Devil society had a tendency of tarring the children of divorced parents with the same brush. "But that would hurt Ikusu."
"At this point I think Ikusu-kun would rather never have to call than man Father again." Akeno countered as she motioned towards the young man in question. "He looks ready to kill your husband for his antics."
Rias stole a glance at her son. Ikusu Gremory did indeed look ready to kill. The crimson haired young man was staring daggers at the man he called Father. The fact he looked so murderous brought a smile to Rias's eyes. She had no doubt whose side her son was on. It was definitely hers. Ikusu wasn't the only younger devil on her side. Ikusu's best fried Kurenai Himejima was giving a similar glare to the same man. The look Airi was giving could easily have killed an Evil Dragon. Shirayuki and Kurobara held the indifference of cats, but to those who knew them it was clear they held the man in disdain. Mordred, Shin, and Zen keep fingering the hilts of their swords like they wanted to cut the man's hands off. Ernestine and Robertina's glares were softer than the others, but not by much.
"It looks like all the children of my friends would support me." Rias couldn't hide how touched she felt about that. "Tell the others, I am confronting him tonight."
"Husband, I would have a word with you." Rias used what her son called her Disciplinarian voice. It was the same one that she would use to get the children to listen to her. Those who had witnessed her enact vengeance on those who wronged her would say the tone was similar, but there was just a little less promised death in her words.
"Perhaps later, Rias." The man stated as he slipped a hand into the slit of busty succubus's dress in the search of her womanhood. "Unless you have the desire to join in."
"This cannot wait for later." In the past Rias might have capitulated and delayed. She hadn't wanted to rock the boat too much. Now, she was determined to see this done. "I want a divorce."
"Well, you can't have one." Her husband replied. "I don't want a divorce."
"I am going to have one. It's something I should have done when you brought the Nekomata sisters on our honeymoon and spent more buggering them than you did with me." Rias did not change her tone. "I want a divorce and we will be getting one. I see no reason to remain married to you. Not when you have given me nothing that a husband should. I have not had one iota of love, comfort, companionship, or respect from you. Nor do I have any for you."
"And what of our son?" He said blithely. "He is something I gave you."
"No, he isn't. He was never yours." Rias stated coldly. "The only good thing that came from my marriage was the child conceived at the bachelorette party. How pathetic is that?
"You're lying."
"I have no reason to lie to you, Riser."
