Hello everyone! How're you all? You all must have been very surprised by seeing me here specially when I have already published one fic here. Two fics a day? Guess, Misty was getting very obsessed to torture her dear pairing, that's why, she presents herself here, once again. This time, with a crime-thriller.
Before starting, I would like to wish a very very happy birthday to Sohana Sarkar in advance, once again. This is the 2nd birthday gift of you, dear. At first, I thought to give you a righteous, medieval-age OCKaiHil triangle where there will be no sin, where the love will be very pure. I gave you the options but you rooted for the second, so here it goes. Don't chase me with a broom after it.
Pairings: KaiHil, KaiOC.
Genres: Crime, drama, thriller, suspense, and of course, romance/hatred.
Rating: T+
Warnings: Negative characterization of a beautiful, the most famous female character of Beyblade (Apologies in advance for that *Holds ears*), guns, blood, swearing and alcohol.
Extra warning: Not for those KaiHil fans who ship KaiHil with every part of their heart but don't read KaiOCs/not appreciate them.
So...let's enjoy it!
The scorching summer heat of the outer environment couldn't enter the December-like, airconditioned chamber of the phoenix-prince, nor did the external sunshine sweltering in the cloudless, clear-blue mid-afternoon sky. Clad in a white shirt whose collar button was loosened, showing the line of his broad chest and well-built neck dents, together with black pants, rolling the sleeves up to the elbows, the dual-haired Russian was sitting, leaning his back comfortably against the sofa, lifting one leg on another thigh and spreading his arms on the handles. His right hand was clutching the rope which was tying the neck of his personal German Shephard. Behind him, two armed bodyguards were standing, one male, one female. An orange-haired well-suited guy was facing him, chuckling.
"Sir," He snickered, "You know, I am a big fan of yours. I-"
He had to stop in the midway, seeing the stretched palm of the phoenix-prince. Clearing his throat, the Russian spoke, "Let's get back to the work."
Brooklyn stared at the ruby eyes of the girl who was having her seat on a three-legged tool by the right side of her business partner as well as her Russian boyfriend. Chocolate hair was tied into a high ponytail, lips weren't as thick as they were appearing due to the amount of nude lipstick. In black jacket over pink sleeveless shorts and denim trousers, she was like a bomb in the eyes of the orangette. However, as she nodded, silently saying to him not to delay to place the offer before the Russian and allowing him to proceed, Brooklyn opened his mouth.
"My BM development company wants to build a new satellite city," He started speaking, "Its budget is about 500 million dollars. According to the survey of my engineers, the Japanese villages beside your city make a developed area for that…if needs be, we will give the villagers some money. Of course, they will get place somewhere in this world. Otherwise, a matchstick of yours is enough to turn all the villages and villagers into ashes, isn't it?"
Before the orange-haired guy could finish his words, he flinched, discovering the German Shephard sticking out its tongue and furiously howling before him. Hilary gasped, giving a creepy and narrowed stare at the four-footed beast. All the armed bodyguards in the room got startled, stepping back from the armless and harmless pet dog of the Russian. The sharp eyes and growls of the animal were frightening the orange-haired guy almost to his death. Kai quickly started patting the head of the Shephard in order to pacify it. Though it was an animal, it had better IQ than human beings sometimes.
Once the dog got appeased, stopping woofing and starting waggling its tail, Kai stared at the aquamarine orbs of the orangette, "The project won't take place."
"What?" Brooklyn frowned and shared a look with the brunette who was equally shocked.
"If you want to get it done by any other individual or team," Kai stood up, pointing a finger at the orangette, "Neither you nor anyone from your company will be spared ever."
The man was about to leave his chamber until his chocolate-haired girlfriend left her seat, objecting, "But, it's a good deal, babe!"
The Russian halted at the excited and opposing pitch of the brunette. Nearing him, holding his shoulders and placing her chin there, she spoke in a demanding and pampered tone, "I have already taken the advance, dear. You cannot say no."
"If you have taken the advance," However, his heart didn't melt even at the request of his lover as he jerked her hands off from him in quite a cruel way, "Just return it to them. Burning villages was never our job, nor is it at present."
Hilary retreated but seeing her facial expression, it couldn't be felt that she was hurt or saddened by this emotionless and cruel, acidic behavior of her boyfriend. Rather, she smirked and faced him.
"You knew, I was well-aware that you would never agree with me on this term," She tilted her head, "That's why, I've taken the advance of one more task. Ayla!"
The scarlet-haired woman was ready for the order of the brunette. Right then, giving a sharp nod, she tucked out the black 9mm pistol from the pocket of her jeans, aimed it at the slate-haired Russian and pulled the trigger. In excitement, the teeth of the orange-haired guy flashed along with his vicious aquamarine orbs. The bullet rushed at him, cutting the air and hit the left side of his chest. Hilary threw a last flying kiss at her boyfriend along with a creepy, sinful wink of her left eye. To her, power mattered more than love. If the guy whom she loved couldn't give her that, he would always be meaningless to her just like a dead body. So did she tend to make him.
"Bang!"
The brunette grinned in victory, sharing a hi-five with the orangette. Nobody saw the smile rising in the lips of the Russian too who had been shot just then. Yet, why he was sneering, nobody knew. Only the shooter whose hand was still bearing the handgun shared another wicked grin with him as if it had been her victory too. As the back of the Russian thudded on the marble floor of his own chamber, all the people left it one by one and leaving him to die, not even bothering to check whether he was really dead or not. Before departing, the redhead named Aylin just glanced at him and closed the doors. His body remained fallen there, yet, not for always.
"Ding-dong! Ding-dong!"
The doorbell of the chamber rang, twice. The bodyguard standing there couldn't understand who could be there at that time as all the invited guests had already arrived to the party. Hilary Tachibana, the new owner of Hiwatari Enterprises as well as the co-manager of BM development company, had warned them strictly, over and over so that the security of everyone could be maintained and ensured without any flaw. As a result, very cautiously, before opening the gate, he took off his black glasses and kept an eye at the keyhole to have a glimpse of the comer. However, this was the first and the last mistake of the bodyguard on the earth.
"Bang!"
A bullet pierced that eye of the bodyguard as the door got kicked open. The corpse of the poor man kept fallen on the earth. The tube of the golden desert eagle stood straight in the hand of a man, covered in black. Even his hair wasn't visible due to the black hat covering his head. Eyes were lidded under a pair of black glasses. Smirking, he took his entry to the party hall, pushing the transparent, red silk curtains hanging from the arcade, crossing the passages as a few men of his own followed him, prepared to protect him as well as follow his orders whenever he would give them.
The party hall was decorated very elegantly, with white nets joined to the pillars along with rose bouquets. Ribbon festoons were hanging from the walls. Round tables covered in white embroidered fabrics were bearing the flower vases of the sticks of white gladiola and hydrangea. A few candles were burning in the lamp-stands too, spreading an intoxicating aroma. Waitresses, wearing short dresses, were smilingly serving soft and hard drinks among the invited guests. Beautiful ladies were shamelessly flirting with the professional, high-ranked men, trying to draw their attention. A few couples were seen dancing on the dance floor, bathing in the showers of rays emitted from the multicolored rotating spotlights.
The eyes of the stranger got stuck to the brunette, the most powerful lady in the celebration party. She walked like a stealthy cat, tilting her head at the left side and showing a splash of her untied, waist-length, wavy chocolate hair. The eyes of every man in the party were fixed on her appearance. Really, in her sleeveless, georgette halter-strap black dress whose top had golden embroideries and the plain black bottom which ended right a bit under her knees in front but the back portion of it sliding against the ground, she was looking like an alive danger. The shades of her magenta lipstick and eyeliner got darker than the previous ones. Gold hoop earrings around her earlobes were playing hide and seek with her insolent brown tresses. He smirked. Really, after breakup, girls get more beautiful.
However, her growing, her glowing added just fuel to the fire of his vengeance inside his heart. Not showing that, he simply strode to the brunette and extended a hand to her. Cluelessly, she placed her hand on it. He gently led her to the dance floor, embracing her waist and swirled her there in a high angular velocity. She wasn't ready for the move; she somehow saved herself from the fall by maintaining the balance between her heels. Again, he held her and they rotated like the sun and the earth. Hilary's nostrils could sense the fresh mint perfume which was very familiar to her. Unknowingly, her heart skipped a beat. The stranger was really very attractive but frightening too at the same time. Why?
The anonymous man smirked, knowing how the brunette was feeling at that time, at his touches, at his unavoidable, fiery death glares whose heat could be felt without the light, even though his amethyst pupils were lidded under the black glasses. Though his lips were bearing a grin, that was scaring the chocolate-haired woman more and more. No, she was very good in communicating with men. Why was she feeling nervous today? Did she mistakenly put her hands into a burning pyre? Whatever it was, her partner was feeling much amused, noticing the condition of the power-hungry, dangerous woman, the new queen of Hiwatari Enterprises, who used to think that she didn't ever need any man to be an empress. He pinned her against a pillar and left his body weight on hers, their breaths combinedly taunted her nostrils and lips.
Don't think,
Only you can play with fire,
Don't think,
By loving, only you can break a heart.
What do you know about fire?
Here, being flames, I'm burning,
The thing you always call fire,
Is always water to me,
The thing you always call fire,
Is always water to me.
Seductively, the guy in black lay a finger on her right cheek and brushed it slowly, tangling her tresses around it. That surely gave some jolts to her heart. Somehow, leaving his embrace and the dance floor, she hid beneath a pillar and peeped at him like a cat. Her ruby eyes were now desperately searching for the orange-haired guy but he seemed too busy in flirting with the invited ladies and cooing them with drinks. Restless, she tried to hide herself from the anonymous, yet, suspicious guy, engaging herself in talking to the guests and asking them if everything was fine.
But when did the vindictive man give her peace? Whenever she would divert her gazes from the guests, he would appear, not missing a single chance. For a few times, he appeared without his spectacles too. Yes, his eyes were amethyst, having the same fire there. Hilary shuddered. Aylin herself had shot him to death on that day. How could he return? Did he become a ghost or what?
'Fuck you, Hiwatari...' She clenched her teeth, 'Despite removing you forever from this world, why cannot I forget you still?'
To solve this puzzle, he would sing near her ears, coming to her whenever she was alone in the party:
I've broken the door of my conscience,
You've left me, for your power-packed dreams
I've broken the door of my conscience,
Coz you've left me, for your power-packed dreams
What do you know about fire?
Here, being flames, I'm burning,
The thing you always call fire,
Is always water to me,
The thing you always call fire,
Is always water to me.
Hilary had no confusion in her brain that he was none but Kai Hiwatari. Somehow, he didn't die, thus, returning for vengeance. The brunette chided Aylin a lot in her own mind, thinking that the redhead might have miserably failed to carry out her task. As a result, the sword of danger was still hanging over her head. Anytime, he could pierce her brain. However, she was, certainly, scared but her nerves weren't that weak. Deciding to smother the last spark of the fire, she managed a pistol. Hiding it behind her waist-length hair, she stealthily stood beside the dual-haired Russian. He was just standing, closing his eyes, folding his arms on his chest and leaning against a pillar. The brunette smirked; his nature didn't change yet. Using the chance, she aimed it at his forehead.
Burn me as much as you want,
I'm always ready to get burnt,
Only loving you, oh unfaithful brunette,
I have placed my life at a bet,
Burn me as much as you want,
I'm always ready to get burnt,
Only loving you, oh unfaithful brunette,
I have placed my life at a bet.
What do you know about fire?
Here, being flames, I'm burning,
The thing you always call fire,
Is always water to me,
The thing you always call fire,
Is always water to me.
Nonetheless, Kai caught the same wrist of the brunette and twirled her as the pistol got aimed at the orange-haired guy. Not wasting a moment, Hilary's fingers tapped there because of the reflexes of her body though she didn't want it. It straightly made a sieve on his forehead. Gasping, he simply fell down on the ground, leaving his last exhalations on the earth. Hilary's ruby eyes went widened. Oh no…what the hell did she do at that moment? She muttered some curses for her ex-boyfriend under her breaths because that was the only thing that she could do at that moment.
All the guests got shocked but at the same time, the trustworthy men of Kai entered there, getting done with the men of Brooklyn very silently. Some guests left, some remained there. In front of everyone, Kai aimed the pistol at Hilary's temple and gently took her away from the party hall to a corner by her waist. The brunette was damn petrified, shivering like hell. Never did she think that the dual-haired Russian would outwit her in this way. The corner had a round table along with a pair of chairs. Sitting on one, Kai gestured the brunette to take another. Hilary did the same as she had no other way except obeying him.
A medium-heighted, tanned lady brought a pair of chalices containing golden champagne on a tray and placed it on the table. Then, she murmured in Hilary's ears, "The firefly will never betray her fire, you know, Miss Tachibana."
Flinching mildly, the brunette looked at the waitress. She was familiar to her; with her dark-red hair tied into a messy bun and sharp emerald eyes, shining in the radiance of victory. A smirk rose in the corners of her red lips. Kai smirked at her, tipping his hat, remembering the day when Aylin herself had told him about the nasty conspiracy of his girlfriend. Aylin had always reared a one-sided feeling for Kai. After that meeting, it had become two-sided eventually. The redhead had given him a Kevlar vest. Only for that and her, he was alive. The brunette couldn't feel more surprised and betrayed at this.
Grinning, Kai put an unknown tablet in one of the chalices and kept swapping them in front of the dazed, confused eyes of the brunette. His handwork was so fast that she couldn't guess which champagne was pure and which was not. When it was over, he signaled Hilary to choose one between them. Hesitating, the brunette carefully looked at the glasses but found nothing special except the white froths and bubbles in the golden background of both of them. They all were normal. Huffing, she lifted one of them. Aylin smirked standing beside the table as the couple clinked their goblets against each other, sipping from them.
"Ah!"
However, the result was evident only after a few seconds. Hilary started coughing, feeling a lump at her throat. She was in bursting fits; her chocolate tresses hid her face as she lowered it. Ruby eyes went bloodshot, tears sprang out from them. A stream line of blood didn't forget to trickle down from her nostrils. Patting on her head and sniggering, Kai stood up. Holding the hand of the redhead, he led her to the dance floor in front of the horrified eyes of the chocolate-haired woman. The dices had got tilted, so did the game. Some guests who were the well-wishers of Hiwatari were still present there. Discovering the new partner of Kai Hiwatari, they all burst into wild applauses and screams of congratulations.
Before the fatigued, heavy eyes of Hilary Tachibana which were on the verge of getting closed anytime, the power-hungry, ex-owner of Hiwatari enterprises as well as one of the most dangerous women whom the Russian had ever met in his life, Aylin clapped at a side, taking a stance of Tango. Kai Hiwatari threw away his glasses and hat, revealing his original hair and eyes and claps rained more. The last thing the power-hungry brunette saw was the slate-haired Russian and scarlet-haired woman, approaching each other and hugging the shoulders and waist of each other, starting the dance as well as their new life…

So...dear people, how's it? You all must have been pretty shocked to discover the villain as well as her consequence. I know, some are really badmouthing me and Aylin (Well, we aren't different though :P) fulfilling the content of their heart. For it, once again, from the core of my heart, I apologize to you all. Misty is posting KaiOCs nowdays but it doesn't mean that she's forgotten or given her love up from her dearest OTP. Of course, my OTP, KaiHil is an ever-burning, inextinguishable fire and Misty just wanted to play with it. See, I've written almost all the aspects of KaiHil. Love, hatred, respect-what not?
At first, I thought to put Tyson in the shoes of Brooklyn but *Slaps on my own cheeks* God forbids, may I never have to see that day :P. Brooklyn, of course, makes a much much better villain than Tyson (Can Tyson make a villain ever? :P).
Btw...how was Aylin's role here? Exceptional, isn't it? Mind you, she's not always sweet and affectionate. ;)
Anyways, do read and review. Pardon the grammatical and spelling errors. Take care :D
Dear Soha, I hope you've liked this piece. Pardon me, but Misty has ruined almost everyone's birthday here (Ellie, be ready *Winks*). So why not you? XD Sorry, just kidding. Many many happy returns of the day in advance, again. May God bless you, keep you happy, safe, healthy and sound always so that you can read your Misty Di's fics and keep inspiring her forever.
-Misty ^_^ ^_^
