(Warning: Some characters in this are at there most recent strength from the Manga/Light Novel, so there will be spoilers for, attacks/new forms/abilities. The characters with the things listed to be spoiled are Natsu, Luffy, Deku & Touma)
In news footage from a tourist filming on a pier was shown a giant robot attacking the pier but also something hitting it. The ground shook and shook from fist made out of rock and the ocean floor spiraling upwards and punching the giant robot either in the face or the chest. Then suddenly the half of the robot that was underwater started to freeze, then all the water around him instantly froze as if part of Antarctica came to the New York bay.
A spear of ice then came out from the ice and plunged itself right into the giant robot's chest, hitting its energy core and making it explode.
Some of the debris scattered across, some hit the ocean and some hit the docks the man was recording the footage until the head of the robot came flying over to the recording man and was about to hit him. But a clapping sound echoed through the bay while electric sparks shot from underneath the man and the wood underneath him suddenly rose, transformed, and reshaped into a giant hand and caught the robot head, while someone stood on the wrist of it looking down at the man recording the fight.
He wore his golden-blond hair long tied in a braid that hung down to his shoulders. He had gold eyes with a giant smile on his face. He wore all black clothes except for a red jacket. He also had a noticeable metal arm and a metal leg.
"W-Who-" The recorder asked
"Fullmetal..." The man said
The footage then stopped and a news reporter started to talk about where it was taken and who was fighting the robot. A genius, ex-weapon maker called Edward Elric also known as Fullmetal.
A hand then reached out and turned off the screen "A giant robot?!" A man in a business suit and short blond hair similar to Edward said. He looked over to his left and saw his brother Edward Elric driving a stylish red car.
"To be fair, it was much bigger than how they showed it, Al..." Edward said with a smirk
"That proves my point! " The man shouted, "Shield should be fighting robots, not you brother." Alphonse Elric, Edward's little brother protested "They aren't the bad guys Ed-"
"I'm out of the weapons-making gig, Al... I thought you understood that." Edward said with venom in his voice as he made a sharp turn "I'm a gentler Edward Elric."
"That fight's supervillains..."
Edward then got flashes of what happened several years ago.
It would be a normal day for him, pitching weapons, firearms, armor you name it. It's how Edward made his fortune, selling weapons to the government. And he would've still had done it if he hadn't been the one that got it by one of them. A missile, one made by him, got into the wrong hands, killed 6 innocent people, and blew his left leg and right arm clean off. After that, the terrorist kidnapped him and told him to use his knowledge to make weapons. And he did, just not ones that would be used by them. He made a special right arm and a left leg made out of metal, and with his knowledge of equivalent exchange escaped from the terrorist and went back home. That's when he started helping people with the stuff he made instead of hurting.
"Ok, what about the Devil Buster units? You can help them take the people with those freaky power's down."
"We have been over this a million times, plus I'm not planning on going near General Akainu ever again. That guy freaks me out more than the monster he says he hunts." Edward responded as they drove and arrived at Elric Tower, where they were greeted by Edward's assent Winry Rockbell.
Both Elric brothers got out of the car and walked over to her
"Winry? You don't have to park the car, we have people for that..." He said as Winry stared daggers at him
"For someone so big on technology, you should try answering your phone!" She said harshly
"Why?"
"Because Hydra is attacking the United Nations!"
Edward narrowed his eyes and they all walked into his office to see the T.V robots firing at the United Nations building.
Edward stroked his chin. Hydra is an organization kinda like the Illuminati. They seem to be an organization that wants to run the world down to its knees, they use magic and technology, to further their advances.
There used to be a hero named the Shield Hero, original but still, he got the job done, but he died long ago.
Now it was his turn to fight, his turn to defeat Hydra.
And he was going to do just that, Edward started to walk off as he took off his brown jacket and started to adjust his metal right arm.
"Where are you going?" Alphone's asked even though he already knew the answer
"To kick their ass!"
Edward then stepped into his armory room. He got his jacket on and clapped his hands together.
At the United Nation
The U.S government was losing the battle against the agents of Hydra and Shield wasn't coming anytime soon. Then one of the giant robots was about to fire a laser cannon at the building but it was stopped by an orange laser hitting it in the dome. The laser came from Edward shooting a laser he had built into his metal right arm.
The robot exploded the more the laser hit it and then fell over. All the hydra agents looked to Edward in shock, except one that seemed... unnerved by the sudden entrance of Ed.
"Attention, you snakes. You've been trying to take over the world for what now? 60 years?" The one hydra agent that wasn't threatened by Edward's appearance shot a rocket at him and Ed was just barely able to dodge out the way. "You tried to shoot me?! Fine!" Edward said as he clapped his hands together and pushed them against the ground "Is this what you meant to do?!" Ed asked as the ground rose and reshaped itself into a giant cannon. It started to light up and then shot a giant metal cannonball at all of them.
It smashed against the ground in front of them all and they all were pushed back.
Edward then swept his hands together "Well that was easy..." Ed commented but then heard a strange noise, he looked up to find 3 green balls of metal flying towards him. He quickly dodged the balls of metal before they crushed him as flat as a pancake.
Once Ed was in the clear he took a look at the balls of metal and saw that they were moving.
They then revealed themselves as green metal killer robots. Hydra killer robots.
They all had skull-like helmets and green armor on with a knife in each of their right hands.
Edward clapped his hands together again and slapped his right metal arm and created a metal spike at the end of it.
One of the 3 robots then rushed at Edward fully ready to cut him in half with its butcher knife but the attack was thwarted by Edward and him blocking the knife with the spike on his right arm.
Edward then knocked it away with a kick from his left leg and clapped his hands together again. He then reached out to touch and deconstruct the robot's face making it explode but instead he was blocked by a forcefield
"Wait a second? Those are my shields!? Hydra is using my tech against me?!" Edward gritted his teeth and then looked at the other 2. They rushed at him with full speed ready to strike him down. The first threw his knife forward about to cut Ed, but Ed jumped in the air, spun in a circle, and kicked the robot away. He then clapped his hands together and grabbed the other robot's face. This time he was successful with his plan and deconstructed the helmet and made it explode into pieces.
The 2 left remainings then got up and got ready to attack with Ed doing the same.
Edward clapped his hands together and put them on the ground. Slowly the ground around him morphed into a spear. Ed twirled it around himself a few times and got ready to attack.
"Bring it!" Ed said and the 2 robots rushed at the Hero. Edward smirked, once he got a cool head it was all over for them, he quickly disarmed the first robot coming at him. Since the sliced the robot's arm off and then quickly stabbed the spear back into the robot's head. The last one opened its mouth and started to shoot a flamethrower. Edward clapped his hands together and pushed them towards the ground.
The rocks then acted as a wall as a rock pillar rose from the ground and blacked the attack. Edward then put his hand on the pillar and deconstructed it causing it to break apart and blind the robot for a few seconds. Once the robot could see he found Edward to not be in the same place he was before instead, he was above the robot.
The robot tried to use its flamethrower again but it was too late as the rock spear drove itself through the robot's chest.
As Ed landed on the ground he reached for something in his pocket and pulled out a device that looked like a futuristic type of glasses except it was broken into half of it. It was a scanner that Edward made, he put it on his ear and adjusted the glass part to put it on his left eye.
He then turned it on and it scanned the robots and low and behold he found multiple parts of tech he created, the only thing is he never sold anything to Hydra. He sold to the government and Shield.
Edward looked up once he heard a familiar sound of a plane landing, and speak of the devils there it was the Shield helicarrier. Edward sighed, 'Now they show up huh.'
It didn't take long for armored troops to drop from above and surround the hero.
The apparent leader of the armored squad spoke with authority. "Fullmetal, by the authority of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division, you are hereby ordered to stand down."
Edward sighed "Don't you guys get tired of spouting that mouthful?"
The soldier repeated his message. "I repeat, stand down, by order of SHIELD."
In the helicarrier
In the bow of the ship stood a man in a blue military uniform, his name was Roy Mustang the director of Shield. Behind him on a computer was his 2nd in command, Risa Hawkeye.
"Your orders, sir?" asked Hawkeye.
Roy simply raised a brow in interest.
Back on the ground
"This is your last warning. Stand down," the commander ordered.
Edward scoffed. "Unless you guys are here to thank me for doing your job for you, I'm not in the mood for this."
"You'll need to come with us, Fullmetal."
"I don't think so. Scan the Mandroids." Edward ordered.
The HUD of the Armor scanned several layers of the SHIELD armor before highlighting several pieces.
"Alert- seven components of the Mandroid armor are derived from Elric Industries Technology."
"That's some nice armor you got there. Who's your tailor?" Edward mocked.
Helicarrier
"Director Mustang, Fullmetal just scanned the android armor. Why would he do that?" reported Hawkeye.
Roy sighed. "Call them back. Tell the androids to stand down. We did not come here to fight Fullmetal."
"Sir?" she questioned.
"Do it," commanded Roy.
On the ground
"Where did you get that armor?"
"Back away." The troops also got into battle formation.
A familiar green butcher knife raised high.
The scanner highlighted the movement. "Warning."
"Look out!"
Edward quickly charged his hand blaster with energy.
Provoked, the SHIELD operatives retaliated. "Open fire."
While the SHIELD weaponry peppered Edward as he raised his arms in defense, Edward strained from the incoming fire. With a free hand, he knocked down two soldiers. "Fire!"
On command, the hero unleashed a massive beam of energy directly into the Hydra Robot. It's metal shell warped from the heat before erupting in a huge explosion, forcing anyone nearby away. When the light-show stopped, Fullmetal got on one knee with his hand smoking.
Edward then rose and walked to a downed agent. "You all right?" He received only groans of pain. "Good." He grabbed onto the helmet and yanked it off cleanly.
On the Helicarrier
"Mustang we are tracking down Fullmetal now," Hawkeye said typing fast on the computer in front of her
Roy Mustang didn't give any reaction, he just narrowed his eyes "Let me guess..." Mustang said as the floor behind him exploded with metal rising from the broken floor.
On that rising metal was Edward Elric.
Fullmetal.
And after that little incident with their soldiers a couple of seconds ago the Shield agents were not too pleased to see him, but the same could be said for Edward.
"We need to talk, Mustang!" Edward said walking one step forward before him being surrounded by people holding guns to his face. Even so, Edward took no notice of them.
"Stand down!" Mustang said, raising a hand in the air. Everyone lowered their guns but were still coshes of the hero.
"You STOLE my tech!" Edward said with venom in his voice. He hated when his tech was stolen, almost as much as he hated S.H.I.E.L.D in general. Now that he thinks about it they are pretty much on equal footing.
"We didn't steal anything Fullmetal." Mustang said in a calm tone "You've been selling us weapons for years. We modified what you gave us."
"You twisted it! Twisted what I made!" Edward spat walking closer to him. "And then you let it leak to Hydra!"
Mustang for the first time in this conversation changed his expression, first calm, and then a little angry "What?"
"I scanned the Hydra bot's and guess what? Other than a new paint job and a little weight gain, they are only a tiny bit off from your man-droids."
"Those man-droids as you call them will save lives." Riza spoke up "And when you withhold resources from us, that gives the advantage to people like Hydra."
"None of you get it. Weapons don't solve problems. They only make problems worse!" Edward announced
"Wake up," Mustang sighed "How can our problems get worse? The tech Hydra's got, supervillains crawling at every corner of the world and barely any heroes to stop them. Like those devil fruit users." Mustang then pointed his index finger in Edward's face "You can't do this alone, you're only one man!"
Edward narrowed his eyes, he then turned around and jumped down the hole he made to get in.
As Edward used his powers to use the ground as a platform for travel he passed by the United Nations building again. There, one Hydra agent looked at Edward and smiled at him before going into the S.H.I.E.L.D.
At Elric tower
"I'm not gonna lie to you, Alphones. There were three robots this time and guys in robot suits."
Alphones placed his hands on his waist. "I tried to watch it on TV, but Wriny wouldn't let me.
"She never watches," he said with a shrug.
"I don't need to," she replied smoothly. "I already know you're gonna be late for your meeting."
As Edward walked away from his friends, Alphones spoke up. "You don't have to do it alone, you know?"
"Do what?" Edward paused.
"All this. Taking on SHIELD. Giant robots. Super-villains. The whole world doesn't have to rest on your shoulders."
"Yeah, it does. I mean, I know you guys are always there for me, but against this?" Edward closed his eyes. "Who's gonna help me?"
With Mustang
Mustang traveled on a private plan sent for one of the 4 high tech security prisoners meant to hold super-villains.
It was named the Vault.
After escorting the Hydra agents to their cells, Mustang decided to stop by an 'old friend'.
"Riza, tell me what you know?" Mustang asked referring to what she knows about the prison
"The vault is meant to hold super-villains and alchemy/tech."
"And what can you tell me about alchemy."
"It is the deconstruction and reconstruction of matter. Elric somehow managed to know every single last bit of alchemy there ever was and doesn't need to draw a transmutation circle. However, any criminal that has used alchemy has been stashed away here." Riza explained as they started to walk through the prison cells "Such as Greed, Lust, Gluttony and..."
"And the man behind this door. Hydra's boss." Mustang finished as the door in question opened
The man inside was someone who ran Hydra for years, before he was put in jail.
When both he and Riza walked in they both saw them sitting in a chain while a wall of energy resided around him.
His name was Van Hohenheim. Also known as the Father of Hydra.
At the scanner of the prison.
The guards looked over the mutable Hydra agents and their stuff. They needed to make sure they didn't have any high tech gear on them.
Once they got to one of the hydra agents' bags they found something strange. 3 swords and a white rob.
"Uh..." The Shield agent said backing away
Once the next Hydra agent stepped into the scanner an alert popped up.
"Is that a prosthetist?" Asked one man who pointed to the screen that showed some metal in the man's arm
The hydra agent cracked his neck while in the scanner and then reached back to his forearm and held a handle and pulled it back.
"No, he has a weapon inside him." The agent said, everyone pulled out there guns and got ready to fire
"What's the problem, can it not read me? You'll find I'm quite... one of a kind." The man said jumping at the agents through the glass scanner and cutting them in 2 with a sword he pulled out of his arm
This man was Bradley. A man that worked for Hydra, and was there to get Van Hohenheim back with Hydra. They called him Wrath the furious.
Bradley looked at the upcoming agents and got his bag and got ready for a fight.
With Mustang
"I guess we should have expected he would say nothing to us," Riza said as they walked away from the door
"He told us enough." Mustang spoke "Something's going down. But what-"
Mustang was cut off as the elevator in front of him opened revealing Bradley
"Bradley!" Mustang spat taking a glove out of his pocket as Riza gets a gun from hers
"Roy Mustang... a pleasure," Bradley said as he rushed towards him. A hail of bullets was shot from Riza's gun all aimed for Bradley but the man cut all the bullets with his sword and dodged the remainder. Mustang then put on a couple of gloves and snapped his fingers.
That snap caused a spark to appear from his fingers and the spark turned into a blazing flame that was sent straight towards Bradley.
Bradley dodged the flame and took a swing with his 2 swords. In a blink of an eye, Riza's gun was not only cut in half, but Mustang's glove was also cut in half. The glove had a flame alchemy circle on it which is how he could use that fire.
Bradley then punched Riza into a wall while he kicked Mustang into the floor then kicked him in the face one last time.
Bradley then cut the metal door holding Hohenheim and sliced open the containment prison around him.
Hohenheim stretched his limbs and stepped out of the cantonment field.
Red sparks of energy surrounded Hohenheim and then surrounded the white robe next to him. The robe then unraveled and then wrapped itself around Hohenheim's body and reshaped back into the robe.
"Took you long enough." He said in a calm tone
Bradley bowed down to the Father of Hydra "I'm sorry Father."
"It's fine Wrath. Let's just leave already. I grow tired of this place." Father said as they both left the room Riza and Mustang were both unconscious but there were guards around trying to shoot them
Wrath sliced the bullets and then killed 2 of the guards in an instant while the rest got impaled with rock spikes coming from the ground
A few moments later
The rest of the guards didn't pose a threat at all as they were trampled through
The 2 easily got outside and hopped into a hover-car. Father and wrath then started to fly away but someone landed on the roof before they completely left the Vault
Mustang had landed on the front of the car with 2 brand new fire alchemy gloves
"You're not leaving!" Mustang says snapping both of his fingers and burning Father's face a bit, he then grabbed Hohenheim's arm and threw him off the ship
Wrath's face paled and he immediately glared at Mustang "I'm going to kill you for that!" Wrath spat venom at Mustang trying to strike him with his sword but Mustang dodged it and snapped his fingers and his Wrath's back with some flames
Wrath grunted in pain and looked back at Mustang, as he smirked
"You dodge anything, but there's almost no way to dodge this thing," Mustang says he then snaps his fingers one last time and blows up the engine launching Wrath off of the hover-car and onto the ground.
Later
The two HYDRA members are put in prison. And Mustang and Riza both walk away from their cells.
"Are all the other 3 prisons like this?" Riza asked
"No." Mustang responded walking on the ship "All 4 are different."
"4?" Riza asked "I thought there were only 3."
