Part 3 of the Dangerous Ride series

Long time idea that came to me while playing Transformers Prime: The Game. There's a concrete move Knockout does in brawls that made me thought, so I'm just playing around with it.
Enjoy!

The Weapon You Don't See...

The femme dodged his low left blow by microns, taking a step backwards. She knew it was just a warning, because the mech pivoted on his leg and launched a reverse right kick. She had seen his intention, and went a step ahead. She moved left and responded with a kick of her own. She thought she had the upper servos on this one, but he had been faster. She was met with his forearms blocking her attack, with a resonating clang that filled the room, before an elbow connected with her abs and a side servo strike to her neck.

Arcee stepped back, resting a servo on her shore neck, to what the mech replied by smirking. She recovered her composure, and measured her rival. He got his guard up for few clicks, before extending one of his servo and waiving his digits, inviting her to come get him. She did not wait. She charged, engaging her blades, and right when she was over him, Knockout knelt down, extending both his arms up to her abs, his both servos tied into a single fist.

The azure warrior would have lowered her blades down on him, if it hadn't been for his strange attitude. The medic did not move, he did not attack, he did not defend, he simply stood there, knelt before her and looking up to her with a triumphant smirk on face. For her, his reaction had no sense, and his expression was an enigma.

"Why so happy?" Arcee inquired dryly, mischievously, raising an opticridge. "You know that was a tactical error, right?"

"Why so certain? I managed to fulfill my objective. You're deceased." Knockout responded calmly. "I won."

"Not a chance. I got my blades on you." She frowned.

He chuckled amused. "You think? You're lucky it was just a sparring. If we really were at the battlefield, you would be in serious troubles, possibly at your way down to the All Spark in this precise moment."

"I still don't see how. Mind clearing it for me? Because even if you managed to hit me with all your strength, you would have to apply much force to cause any real damage. Much muscle and plates in your way. You should know that, after all, you're the medic." She grimaced, deactivating her blades.

"Yeah, sure. Let me clear it for you." His reply beheld sweet dark tone, what made Arcee suspicious. "This move is meant to cause such damage that not even a medic could repair it. In other terms, a mortal strike." The mech shrugged. "So now think. If I had no chances, why would I bother risking my spark by getting in the way of your blades?"

She titled her helm, thoughtfully. The femme began to lightly understand the objective of his movement, though she did not understand why he had chosen it at all. She had been harmed many times during war, in many different ways, but she had always survived, she still couldn't see how his move could mean an imminent decease.

"You ain't following me." The crimson mech shook his helm shortly, as he locked optics with her again, still smirking. "So, answer me a question. Which biomech do you consider is the most important one in your frame?"

"The spark chamber, no doubt." Her expression then change to a mocking one. "But, if you were planning to damage mine, you should have aimed upper." Knockout simply rendered her an aloof chuckle, finding her statement amusing.

"On battlefield, you come across many enemies: troopers, soldiers, officers, commanders..." He didn't answer directly. "To be honest, you all fight the same, aiming for the exact same spots: helm, neck, chest, vents, joints... Foreseeable."

"Where you heading?" She frowned, frustrated. "Stop using riddles and explain yourself clearly." She obtained another chuckle.

"Most plates in cybertronian frames are located protecting the spark chamber. Great design, but not perfect." He paused once more. "You can easily win the upper servo if you know what you're looking for and where to find it." He paused again.

"We medics know more about Cybertronian anatomy than anyone else. Soft sports on the cybertronian frame go pretty much unnoticed, hard to locate, but easy to access." He began slowly, his crimson optics wandering down her frame. "An Autobot medic will use their knowledge to heal. But, the opponent you should most fear in the battlefield is the Decepticon medic, because they will use their skills to reach those spots, and decease with the precision of a surgeon." His optics glinted shortly, locking with hers again. "There's where I am aiming my attack."

She followed the trajectory of his servos and realized the angle of his folded servos was sharp, pointing upwards.

"Alright, what's down there that is not the spark chamber, that makes it so vulnerable?" She demanded, raising an opticridge.

"One of the smallest yet probably most relevant components without which we wouldn't be able to survive." He explained, diving into his medical knowledge. "The main two energon distribution valves, also known as the Compressor Valve Complex. They're in charge of energon distribution throughout the frame from the spark chamber and back to it. Puncture those, and it will be matter of time. The opponent won't live to tell it."

"No." She shook her helm, not buying it. "From your position, your punch would not have enough force to go though it and damage said piece." She denied, still not understanding what he meant to do with his move. "I do have strong muscle and I know how lessen pain when..." She was interrupted by his laughter.

"You amuse me."

Without any other word, he unfolded his servos, extending his long sharp digits which perfectly aligned to have a clean entry through her abs. He motioned his servos upwards without touching her, in slow motion, and then with a wrist turn he moved them to the side, reproducing the move that would have torn her apart. Immediately, Arcee's serious expression changed into a mix of concern and uneasiness as she had finally sawn his move clearly.

Knockout always drove the attention to where he wanted in the battlefield, right away from him, playing coward to mislead his opponents, until he decided to blow his cover. He was intending to strike with his claws straight form the beginning. The only thing that had stopped him from doing so was the fact that she was his teammate now.

While she still remained frozen, he stood up and leaned forwards until his lips were right next to her audio receptors, and whispered something to her. Her optics went impossibly wide.

Then, directing her another intense gaze, accompanied by a smirk of his own, he walked slowly his way out of the training hall, leaving a very much shocked Arcee in the now empty training hall, his powerful words still resonating in her helm.

"Beware, Arcee. The weapon you don't see... Is the one that actually kills you."
