You were tired and stressed. Your family has been bothering you a lot lately and with the exams coming up you couldn't handle any family drama. Your sleep has been getting lesser too. Before you mostly got 8-6 hours of sleep at school nights, but now it's just 4 or 3 hours, and it's been messing with you. So what else to do to lessen the stress than watching anime?
It's an anime that has been published a while ago and it became a big hit, so you were kind of excited to watch it. From what you've heard, it's really great, so why not just binge watch it right here and right now?
But what you didn't know, is that that would be your biggest mistake...
You opened your eyes and saw a clear cloudless blue sky. You felt your back touching the hard floor and slowly sat up groaning painfully in the process.
"What the hell...?" You groaned out as your head decided to give you a splitting headache. You looked in every direction possible to see for you, confiusiong showing on your face.
Slowly your mind started registering things, and it didn't take that long to notice the familiar looking surroundings.
You stood up, looking around yourself again, and even pinching yourself to make sure you weren't dreaming.
"Just how the hell did this happen?!" You whispered under your breath in a panicked tone. Surely you have no chance surviving in this cruel game of death and life!
You walked closer to the edge of the building, looking downwards.
'...Maybe I'll just find a mask instead.' You thought to yourself as a shiver went up your spine. You may not have chances in surviving, but you sure as hell aren't going to throw yourself to the cold unforgiving ground below.
You turned around to walk into another building, only to see some of your stuff close to the wall of the building you were on.
"What the- Nevermind..." You muttered, about to question where your stuff came from, only to give up knowing you won't be getting the answer any time soon.
You walked closer to your stuff, putting the pink and black colored backpack on your shoulders and picking up your pink and blue eyed black teddy bear that had a cross on it's left arm.
There was really no point in picking these things up since the teddy bear would most likely just slow you down and the backpack wouldn't have anything you would need inside it since you were going to die soon anyways.
You looked around yourself, seeing a bridge on your right, you begun walking in that direction.
The bridge was slightly wobbly, but nothing you couldn't handle.
Finally arriving at the other side of the bridge, you were about to play eeny meeny miny moe on if you should go left or right, only to halt when you heard a scream. Now normally you'd just ignore the scream, since you were in an anime full of masked killers afterall, but the voice sounded familiar...
"Oh wait, that's the main character.
OH SHIT THAT'S THE MAIN CHARACTER!" You begun speed walking in the direction of the scream. This was your opportunity to get killed by a mask, since the main character Honjo Yuri likes to attract those masked killers - and survive every single one of them - because of her protogonist halo.
Your excitement even rose when you saw the familiar black haired masked man using a sniper.
You slowly creeped up behind the man, looking downwards to the high-rise in front of you - and your soon to be killer - to see the body of a male wearing a police uniform.
'Oh yeah, this was the scene where that pig wanted to rape the main character... That asshole got what he deserved.' You thought to yourself, about to step a bit closer only to almost have a heartattack when the sniper using mask suddenly turned around, pointing the sniper towards your head.
Your shock dissapeard almost as fast as it came when you blinked a couple of times and remembered just who was standing in front of you.
You squeezed the teddy bear in your left arm with a bit more strenght when thinking about how you'll be dead soon. The thought of dying made you a bit scared, but you would never admit that to another person ever. Althought you were willing to die by this hot man's hands, the aftermath of what would happen was putting you on edge.
There's no way you'd get to go to heaven, so hell is where you'd go. But would hell be like in the bible, a place where all the sinners would suffer for their sins, or would it not be that bad? Or maybe there wasn't heaven or hell, maybe you'd just linger around as a ghost? Either way, you were ready to find out about that.
You closed your eyes gently, waiting for the loud sound of the sniper going off, only to be confiused when nothing happened for a while.
You opened your eyes and saw the man...hesitating? Why would he hesitate? You weren't a god's candidate, so why wasn't he killing you?
The man put his sniper down, looking at you deep in your soul.
"Just who are you...?" He asked you and seemingly himself at the same time.
"L/N. Y/N L/N."
Y/N: Surely I have no chance of surving

My chapters are normally over 3000 words longer, but since this is just the prologue, it's only slightly over 1000 words.
Some may be wondering, "Author, if this chapter was going to be so short, why did it take you so long to make this?" Well the answer is simple, I was being lazy (-‿-')
But not to worry, from now on i'll publish chapters every monday (on Finnish time), so you guys don't have to wait forever for updates anymore. Yaaay (〃〃)
On the downside for you all, i've already planned the ending
