Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug, Cat Noir and Angel Cuervo.
Chapter 1: Prologue.
(Author's notes: Ladies and gentlemen, what you're about to read for the first time is this: my very first crossover fanfiction between Miraculous Ladybug and The Crow. More specifically, the live action movie iteration of The Crow. However, instead of Eric Draven, Ashe Corven, Alexander Corvis, James Cuervo, or any other true identities of The Crow, there'll be my latest OC for the resurrection by Black Feather. My OC for this story is Augustin Abrigo, an immigrant from New Mexico who was gonna start school at Francoise Dupont, but then he and his younger brother were both murdered by a disgraced police officer as retaliation against Augustin's father for being the one to expose the former cop's dirty dealings. Along the way, Tikki, Nooroo, Wayzz and Plagg have to tell their respective owners about the Native American legend of the crow. While Master Fu, Ladybug and Cat Noir might disapprove of Augustin murdering his murderers in order to have his revenge in exchange for everlasting life on Earth after death just because of Hawk Moth preying on the growing fears of everyone in Paris, Augustin's not going to let even that stop him. After all, in this story, Black Feather controls all sources of magic due to his half-angelic nature, and if a Miraculous user were to be stupid enough to interfere like Ladybug and Cat Noir, or if they were to make things difficult like Hawk Moth, they'd better hope and pray for mercy.
Next is this: any of Augustin's dialogue and choice words in Spanish will be in italics, but that doesn't mean I'm overly making this story in Spanish.
Then there's this: the main story concerning the first stages of Augustin's revenge takes place on the twenty-ninth of April, while his death and resurrection takes place in a flashback on Easter Sunday. And, by extension, the final stages of his revenge take place on the twentieth of May. The reason for the long time passing combined with the first few stages of Augustin's revenge already being completed is because Augustin was biding his time, waiting for the right time as he trains himself on how to fight against untouchable opponents like Hawk Moth and Mayura. And also because Angel Cuervo takes his time with his revenge to throw the Paris police department off his trail.
Additionally, some characters from the franchise of The Crow will appear at some points in this story, including Sarah Mohr and Sergeant Daryl Albrecht.
Next-to-last, among Augustin's powers includes three way time travel, attack prediction, body language analysis, attack reversal, adoptive muscle memory, causality perception, photographic deduction, precognition, absolute hypnosis, physical movement prediction, photographic reflexes, grandmaster level pedagogy, the ability to bestow powers, the ability to amplify powers, the ability to nullify powers, the ability to remove powers, enhanced superhuman ESP, the ability to read minds meticulously, imitative mind reading, and pretty much every superpower related to telepathy. BUT, Augustin's biggest superpowers are the ability to create so many different outfits and suits of armor at will through the use of Black Feather's unlimited angelic magic, whether for himself or for his allies. And the ability to manipulate all forms of magic. Whether it's divine magic, dark magic, or every other source of magic in between makes no difference.
Quarter-to-last, Augustin's powers have no weaknesses whatsoever. Meaning, for example, he can hypnotize anyone regardless of whether they're immune or not.
Lastly, Ladybug and Cat Noir have already known each other from the very beginning.
Enjoy chapter 1.)
(Paris, France, Easter Sunday, 2015, first person POV...)
Have you wondered why you were wrongfully murdered for no reason, only to be resurrected and learn the actual reason why you and someone close to you were murdered?
I know I have.
Just as I come from a family tree of police officers, I come from a long line of good souls wrongfully murdered, only to be resurrected by a semi-immortal crow to exact our revenge against our respective killers.
You see, in an old Native American legend I once read about, people once believed that when someone with a pure heart and a good soul dies, a crow carries their soul over to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it, and the soul can't rest peacefully until that sadness is lifted and dealt with permanently. Such a category of sadness is mostly a kindred spirit being wrongfully murdered for no reason at all. In such a case, the crow can bring that soul back to life to put the wrong things right. Only then can they be reunited with their loved ones in the afterlife
Basically, that extensive first part means that when someone like me is wrongfully murdered for no reason, and they are unable to rest in peace, a crow will bring their soul back to the land of the living so they can exact their revenge against the ones who took their life away from them, and to ensure that what happened to them doesn't happen to anyone else again. Once they have succeeded, they will be able to reunite with anyone who was murdered with them in the afterlife.
Basically, the wrongful murder is what happened to me on Easter Sunday of all days.
My story has just begun.
My name is Augustin Abrigo, and this is the story of how I became the next Crow and the first Angel Cuervo.
(At the sight of the first Arrondisment where Augustin and Beto Abrigo were murdered, in third person...)
As the police started to clear up the investigation site, Ladybug and Cat Noir swung down/flew down to where the crime investigation was taking place.
Ladybug asks Lieutenant Roger Raincomprix, "Lieutenant Raincomprix. What on Earth happened here?"
Lieutenant Roger Raincomprix answers, "You guys came too late, and so did we for that matter. What happened here was a deadly shooting. No survivors, but we apprehended the shooter responsible. Amilcar Moreno. A former police officer exposed, fired and soon to be arrested for drug dealings, organized hits and a recent escape from Le Santé Prison, where he and his group were serving their life sentences. The shooting victims were Augustin Abrigo and his little brother, Beto Abrigo. Their father, Arsenio Abrigo, was the one responsible for bringing in Mr. Moreno due to his own job as a police officer. Mr. Moreno wanted revenge and decided to target Abrigo's kids. But of course, before he could even think about trying to find a way to escape his fate in the name of justice, an anonymous witness knocked out the disgraced cop, restrained him with zip ties and rope, and then called us. Of course, like I said, we got here too late. There's nothing that can be done for Mr. Abrigo's kids. All we can do is hope that the judge orders for the death penalty."
Ladybug sighs in sadness, slightly upset that despite her efforts to protect Paris from Hawk Moth, she couldn't save even two people, and for once, it had nothing to do with Hawk Moth or any of his cronies whatsoever.
Just then, Ladybug sees a crow landing on one of the street lamps, cawing as it looked down at her and her partner.
Cat Noir looks up at the crow as it caws at them sympathetically, having understood their pain of failing part of their duty.
Both Cat Noir and Ladybug suddenly felt a tingle in the backs of their necks and they both felt their neck hairs stand up all at the same time.
That was usually a sign that Tikki and Plagg just sensed in unison that something bad was about to happen, and soon.
Soon enough, Ladybug and Cat Noir went home to detransform and recharge their kwamis, even though they didn't use their powers in a fight this time.
Like Lieutenant Raincomprix said to them, there wasn't much that could be done for Augustin Abrigo or his brother, Beto Abrigo.
But little did anyone realize or know, is that once the corpse of Augustin Abrigo makes it to the morgue, a new legend is about to begin.
This is the legend of Angel Cuervo.
At the Dupain-Cheng bakery, in the comforts of her bedroom, Marinette asks, "Tikki, why did you and Plagg get scared by the crow?"
At the Agreste Mansion, in his bedroom, Adrien asks, "Plagg, why were you and Tikki scared by that crow?"
Tikki and Plagg replied in a split-screen scenario in unison, "We were scared of that crow for a reason. That crow was not like any other crow. It comes from an ancient Native American legend. You see, in the legend, it is said that when someone with a pure heart and a good soul dies, a crow carries the soul of the deceased goody-two shoes to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it, and the soul can't rest until the sadness is dealt with permanently. Then sometimes, the crow can bring the deceased back to life to make things right by hunting down the people responsible for the reborn's murder and murder them in retaliation. After the reborn has completed their mission, they are given two choices. Either they can reunite with their loved ones in the afterlife and become God's angels to fight in the Battle of Armageddon thousands of years in the future, or they can choose to stay on Earth with their powers intact and use them to make sure that what happened to them doesn't happen to anyone else again."
Marinette and Adrien gasp in unison with looks of shock and horror.
Soon after composing herself, Marinette states, "Whoever the new Crow is, we have to convince them that revenge is not the answer."
Unfortunately, this had the opposite effect on Tikki, as her face morphed into an expression of pure, devil-like anger.
Tikki angrily shouts before continuing calmly, "DON'T YOU GET IT, MARINETTE?! The reborn has to complete their mission for revenge; otherwise they could end up stripped of their powers and forcefully laid back to rest while being denied access to the land of the living forever. Or even worse, the reborn could be separated into two different versions of themselves, one of them being powerless and the other one with their powers intact. Whichever one comes first. And besides, if you try to get in the reborn's way because of your senses of vigilantism, justice and revenge being radically different from his own; he'll try to restrain you indefinitely, as the Crow can manipulate all forms of magic due to its partially angelic nature granting it complete control over all forms of magic. On top of that, even a teenage Crow is an extremely skilled hand-to-hand combatant and martial artist."
Marinette sighs in response, having seen her kwami's point and secretly taking a vow to never anger Tikki again.
In Adrien's bedroom, Adrien asks Plagg, "Okay, and how can we take him down?"
Plagg responds with venom in his voice, "You can't, Adrien. Even a teenage Crow is easily an extremely skilled hand-to-hand combatant and martial artist. The reborn has to complete their mission for revenge, otherwise they could end up stripped of their powers and forcefully laid back to rest while being denied access to the land of the living. Or even worse, the reborn could be separated into different versions of themselves, one powerless and the other with their powers. Whichever one comes first. And besides, if you try to get in the reborn's way because of your senses of justice and revenge being radically different, he'll try to restrain you indefinitely, as the Crow can manipulate all forms of magic due to its partially angelic nature."
In Marinette's bedroom, Marinette asks, "Okay, so what is there to know about the reborn?"
Tikki replies, "Well, for starters, as the reborn is already dead, he or she no longer gets hungry, tired or thirsty, and are incapable of feeling pain or fatigue. Chief among their superhuman abilities granted by the Crow guide includes the reborn's inhuman strength and cat-like reflexes. The ability to brutalize several opponents simultaneously, even those who would be considered untouchable. The ability to draw extra strength from the love of lost loved ones or pain as an alternative. The ability to summon a large enough murder of crows. Heightened senses. Superhuman agility. Tactile telepathy. Tactile empathy. Psychometry. The ability to turn into a crow at will, thus being given the ability to fly and being given night vision. Being a skilled tactician. Superhuman intelligence. Immortality. A photographic memory. The ability to telepathically communicate with the Crow guide at varying distances of each other. And last, but not least, the ability to see through the eyes of the Crow guide, vanish without a trace, and heal any injury rapidly, the ability to use stealth like a six hundred year old ninja, and the ability to use any and all weapons like a grandmaster. Especially when it comes to guns and swords. However, there's a catch."
Marinette asks, "And what's the catch?"
Tikki explains, "The Crow guide is a real bird. If the Crow were to be injured, their injuries would appear on the reborn. And if the Crow was to be killed, the reborn would lose their invincibility and become completely vulnerable. Secondly, if any of the reborn's killers were to ingest the Crow's blood after killing it, the reborn would be completely stripped of their powers and their powers would transfer over to their killers, thus making them unstoppable. Thirdly, if the reborn is successfully tricked into thinking their quest was completed when it actually isn't, the reborn would lose their invincibility and their ability to heal until the jig is up, as the human saying goes. Next-to-last, if the reborn's killers happens to be part of a Satanic biker gang, the reborn will need to be extremely careful, as the biker gang is very much aware of the reborn's weaknesses. And lastly, if the reborn were to do tasks not important or related to their vengeance mission such as lingering on Earth longer than usual before making their final choice, or saving the lives of innocent people without being told by either the Skull Cowboy or by the Crow guide, then the reborn would be damned and cursed to forever stay on Earth, completely powerless. Thus, the reborn will have to embark on a soul-searching quest for redemption until such a time when the reborn repents for the choices leading to this soul-searching quest that was part of them being damned."
Even though Marinette never heard Tikki use a swear word, she couldn't exactly argue with the catch of being reborn by a crow to seek justice and revenge against one's killers, only to be damned as a punishment for doing tasks not related to their mission without being told to do so.
In Adrien's bedroom, Adrien asks the same things and is given the same lengthy answers.
Even he was not expecting Plagg to use a human swear word when describing the reborn's curse to stay on Earth forever should they deviate from their quest of vengeance, completed or not.
However, once the heroes' kwamis revealed that the reborn also has the biggest ability to manipulate all forms of magic and turn it against any sorcerer who gets in his way or in her way, let's just say the Heroes of Paris decided not to learn anything more about the legend of the crow if they could help it.
Soon enough, the two Heroes of Paris took a vow to never get in the way of the reborn, but to make sure that any negative emotions from the aftermath of the murders at the hands of the Crow would be quelled in the event Hawk Moth tries to take advantage of the chaos.
Meanwhile, in the city morgue, Augustin did indeed get resurrected by the crow.
Of course, it thankfully went unnoticed by the guards and cameras.
Once Augustin vanished and made his way home, he found it to be deserted.
After viewing flashbacks of his life to remember everything all the way to the hour of his murder and his brother's murder thanks to his tactile telepathy and psychometry, Augustin's enraged scream and the sound of glass mirrors shattering in his desolated apartment could be heard all the way to the countryside.
Cleaning up the mess made by his enraged scream, Augustin used his new powers to forge for himself a suit of armor that looks like a combination of various superhero and supervillain suits of armor, except for those that make the wearer look too big and too wide.
Basically, Augustin's armor looks like a combination of the various armors of The Shredder, Iron Man, various depictions of crow-themed battle armor from the Bloodborne and the Darksiders video games, male versions of Wonder Woman's eagle armor in black, and many various superhero and supervillain armors. But without any additional details that most superheroes like Batman have for their armors.
Before he puts on his helmet and mask combination, Augustin paints his face in the same styles as Eric Draven, Ashe Corven, Alex Corvis, James Cuervo and Hannah Foster, but with additional black scars and at least two black circled spots on two parts of his left and right cheeks.
Feeling satisfied in knowing that the face paint will now disintegrate whenever he needs to protect his identity and come on again whenever needed, Augustin put on his helmet and mask combination.
After using his new powers to forge his new body armor and painting his face in a new style compared to his many predecessors, for the first time since his death, Augustin stated his first words from behind his armored crow mask/face guard/medieval knight helmet, with his voice sounding like a combination of the Johnny Blaze iteration of the Ghost Rider, the Danny Ketch Ghost Rider, the Transformers Armada iteration of Unicron, and the Transformers Prime iteration of Unicron. This is what Augustin said: "For the first time in my life, I have finally found my new purpose in life. For the first time since being taught about the Bible, I've finally learned something unknown about the thin line between justice and revenge. While revenge is not beneficial for the living in most circumstances, even in the twenty-first century, it is beneficial for those resurrected to seek justice and revenge for their murders. While God Himself would never approve of revenge in any situation, I'm pretty sure even He would not be able to object to the angelic power of Black Feather. Now that I think about it, I might be a bit comparable to the Ghost Rider in terms of wanting justice and revenge against the ones responsible for taking everything away from me. So, from now on, my enemies of all kinds will learn to tremble in fear at the very slightest mention of my name. From now on, I shall be known as... Angel Cuervo."
In Hawk Moth's lair, the terrorist of Paris was watching the news when he felt a sensation that he only feels when he senses any form of magic or positive and negative emotions.
Hawk Moth wondered aloud, "What could this magic be that I felt? It's unlike any source of divine magic or dark magic I've seen or felt before. If this is what I think it is, I could use it to aid me in my goals. I have to find it. Wherever this new source of magic could be, it will soon be mine to control and command. Soon, Ladybug and Cat Noir will never know what'll hit them. Mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!"
In Augustin's new headquarters underneath the sewers interconnected to his apartment basement, Augustin's stocked up on all sorts of weapons to use in his quest for revenge. As well as rations to survive on in case he ends up powerless and his apartment is no longer a secret base.
At the same time, he's also summoned semi-solid holograms of his favorite martial arts film characters, as well as semi-solid holograms of some notable extremely skilled superheroes and supervillains to train him in the various styles of combat.
After spending the next twenty-five days training himself, as well as using his ability to travel throughout time for ten thousand years combined with his invisibility, his developed superior stealth, and his ability to vanish without a trace, Angel Cuervo literally became a ten thousand year old grandmaster of everything he needed to know about all the forms of combat that have been invented over the years. And that includes even fictional forms of combat that don't exist in real life.
Now, Angel Cuervo was thankful more than ever that he was now immortal, and nothing was gonna change any of that for now.
After teleporting himself to the Eiffel Tower at one in the morning, Angel Cuervo whispered like his voice was one with the wind, "You had better prepare yourselves, Paris. For I, Angel Cuervo will hunt down that pongk and any one of his associates, and I will f****** murder them. I will make them pay for what they did. I will hunt them down to the end of the Earth and Judgment Day if I have to. I won't rest until I have what will be mine. I'm gonna hunt down the ones who took my family from me, the ones who took my otherwise wonderful life from me, and I will send them to f****** Hell, where they will be kept until Judgment Day and the end of days. With my combat skills nearly godlike, I'm absolutely certain that not even Lucifer himself will dare to challenge me. And if Ladybug and Cat Noir dare to get in my way, I won't show them any mercy. Even though I love those guys like if they were my surrogate siblings, their senses and views on the superhero lifestyle in terms of vigilantism, justice and revenge are a tad skewed. It's true that they may not have been what I've been through, but their dark sides might disagree, maybe even a little bit. Even if I have to bring out Marinette Dupain-Cheng's dark side during the battle against Hawk Moth/Scarlet Moth during Heroes' Day, she might never admit to wanting revenge on Hawk Moth for taking every bit of her freedoms from them, as tempting as it is. She'd definitely never admit to how much she wants to pound Hawk Moth into guacamole for almost everything that had been taken away from her. Every hour of sleep, every hour of schoolwork to be done, every hour of homework to be done, every hour of family time, every hour of quality time with friends from school, every hour of working on her amateurish fashion designs to help cement her future as a fashion designer, all of it completely and irreversibly wasted just because of Gabriel Agreste's selfish desire to use the ultimate magic superpower of the conjointly used Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculouses to revive his wife for himself. But would I ever want to dabble in such powerful magic with no regard for the equivalent exchange drawback just to bring my brother back to life and reverse what Amilcar Moreno and his amigos did to us? No manches. Besides, you cannot resurrect the dead with that kind of ultimate wish-granting power without suffering the consequences by having someone you care about on an equal level being sacrificed in exchange. Even I'm not that stupid or delusional or desperate to even dare to try. Besides, our one true Dios of all humankind, with his ultimate power of a truly benevolent God, is the only one who can bring back the dead without any repercussions whatsoever. Along with the help of His Son and the Holy Spirit, only God is capable of resurrecting His children without turning them into vampires, zombies or any other undead abomination while keeping their memories and cognitive functions intact. Hawk Moth, Mayura, Lila Rossi, Felix Graham de Vanily, Chloe Bourgeois, Sr. Amilcar Moreno, you had better prepare yourselves thoroughly, eses. Because as of this moment, we are at war. And at the end of this war, Angel Cuervo, the Order Of The Guardians, the United Heroez, Ladybug and Cat Noir will emerge victorious. And once we do, we will make sure to have you locked up and shut up from the entire world, no matter how long it takes, until you final judgments at Judgment Day are finalized and decided by God Himself. So, buckle up and fasten your seatbelts, kiddies. Because, unfortunately for those who spill the blood of innocent people who had done nothing to the blood-spillers, the real dark ride of vengeance has just begun."
Having said his extensive superhero monologue, Angel Cuervo took flight in his crow form and took off towards his new headquarters to prepare for the time to wage his one man war against Hawk Moth and Amilcar Moreno, along with any of their allies.
The next night, April the twenty-ninth, Angel Cuervo arrives at La Bourse et La Vie Bistro in one of the Arrondisments, and once there, Angel Cuervo finds one of Amilcar's associates, Abelardo Abadia, also known as Black Tentacle.
Angel Cuervo successfully manages to get Abelardo alone through simple mind control, and corners him in an area of the bistro where there are no patrons, no guards and no cameras.
After scanning Abelardo's mind for any information for anyone who might know the current location of Amilcar Moreno, only to be satisfied with the results, Angel Cuervo made his move.
In short, Angel Cuervo murders Abelardo the same way Eric Draven was murdered in 1994: Abelardo was stabbed in the stomach all the way to his spine, thus permanently rendered paralyzed. Then, he was shot twice in the chest with two silenced rounds, and he was taken outside, only to be interrogated on why Amilcar Moreno murdered Augustin and his brother. Once the reasoning was revealed, Angel Cuervo learned that, many years ago, Moreno was a corrupt police officer who had a big enough commando-style unit organizing hits and dealing drugs until Augustin's father, also a police officer, found the evidence he needed to expose Amilcar to the police force they all worked for. Once Amilcar and his associates, Abelardo included, they were fired and sent to jail for varying prison sentences. Once Amilcar was thrown in his cell, he vowed vengeance. His partial eidetic memory enabled him to be able to escape his prison bars and free his comrades. After they raided the criminal property locker to get the equipment they needed for their revenge, they broke out of the Le Santé Prison, where they were serving their sentences, and plotted their revenge. Once the backstory was completed, Angel Cuervo took Abelardo into the sky and threw him down from the sky at least twelve stories.
After his work was done, Angel Cuervo picks up the bullet casings, makes sure to cut Abelardo's face to mimic the famous Crow scars, and repairs the damage done to the bistro's private room, in addition to cleaning up any messes left behind. At the same time, Angel Cuervo managed to make sure that no trace of DNA was left behind by him so as to avert suspicions and throw the police and the Miraculous heroes off his trail.
After all, it wasn't time for Angel Cuervo to meet the heroes of Paris just yet. And there was no stinkin' way Angel Cuervo was gonna get arrested just because the French law and justice system disapproves of murderous vigilantes due to the officers' and lawmakers' skewed senses and views of vigilantism, justice and revenge.
With his work done, Angel Cuervo took flight as a crow and made his way to his headquarters to plan his next move as carefully and meticulously as possible.
The next day, "Fired corrupt detective who escaped prison murdered" made the headlines of the TVi news during the morning report.
Nadia states thoroughly in her report, "Last night, former Parisian detective Abelardo Abadia, who recently escaped from Le Santé Prison, was murdered just outside of La Bourse et La Vie Bistro in the cruelest way possible. He was stabbed in the stomach to his spine, shot twice in the chest, and he fell twelve stories. And look at his face. It was cut in the same style as a harlequin mask with a Glasglow smile with scars. What could this mean? Stay tuned for more later on tonight."
Once Marinette and Adrien respectively heard Nadia's report, their kwamis stated to each of them in a split-screen scenario, "It has begun. The Crow has made his move."
In Hawk Moth's lair, the villain of Paris was watching the news and he eventually decided not to Akumatize anyone who was related to the deceased former detective, for they may be grieving. And as far as Hawk Moth learned, if his victims are created with negative emotions too strong for him to handle, or if they are too young to think rationally, it's much harder to control them. At the same time, Hawk Moth wouldn't willingly Akumatize a criminal or a corrupt police officer because he has common sense. After all, how disastrous would it be if Hawk Moth Akumatized a criminal or a corrupt cop?
So, Hawk Moth decided for now to try to use his dark magic to try tracking the source of the unusual magic he detected the other day. If the magic source was the murderous vigilante, maybe Hawk Moth could try to coax the vigilante to the true dark side.
However, what Hawk Moth didn't realize is that his enslaved kwami, Nooroo, had detected the angelic magic of The Crow, and thus the angelic magic of the black bird and its protégé secretly helped Nooroo start to revolt against his abusive, evil master in the hopes that the Butterfly Miraculous will end up in Ladybug's hands. As well as the Peacock Miraculous and the Miraculous grimoire.
At the same time, what Hawk Moth also didn't know was that Black Feather can easily cloak his angelic magic to prevent anyone using any form of magic from detecting him and his protégé. At the same time, Black Feather can also use any form of magic to track down any devil spawned sorcerer to ensure that they get what's coming to them.
Basically, Hawk Moth is gonna have a difficult time trying to track down Black Feather and Angel Cuervo, but those two are gonna have an easy time tracking down the magic-abusing terrorist of Paris.
Meanwhile, Marinette and Adrien were training further to help themselves in case they get on Angel Cuervo's bad side, even though they didn't know yet that the vigilante calls himself Angel Cuervo.
Marinette and Adrien were secretly hoping and praying that Angel Cuervo's murderous mission of vengeance would be completed ASAP so that he doesn't have to continue being a murderous vigilante and so they can put in a good word for him should he be cornered by police.
Marinette secretly said to herself, "I really pity any police officer and other criminals that might try to get in The Crow's way."
To be continued...
(Author's notes: I hope you all enjoyed the first chapter of my first crossover between Miraculous Ladybug and The Crow. (The movies, not the comic books.) Of course, there'll be plenty of references to the movies and comic books in terms of other people reborn by the Crow, the circumstances leading to their resurrections, and so forth.
Also, Angel Cuervo was inspired by a combination of Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider, Frank Castle/The Punisher, Eric Draven, Ashe Corven, Alex Corvis, James Cuervo, Hannah Foster, Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle, and Night Crow from my other normal Miraculous Ladybug fanfiction with Marinette as the Butterfly Miraculous holder. More specifically in terms of mannerisms, penchant for using a combination of English and Spanish, vowing to take down all sorts of criminals and villains by any means necessary, and wishing for an opportunity to settle down in the afterlife (if so chosen of course), and so forth. Also, you already know what inspirations I used for Angel Cuervo's armor.
Additionally, when Skull Cowboy comes into the picture, he's not gonna be like his omitted counterpart from the film The Crow in terms of constantly telling the reborn to stay focused on his quest for revenge. Rather, my version of Skull Cowboy will be a more sympathetic character, willing to let these things slide just because he knows how stubborn Angel Cuervo was, and because he knows Angel Cuervo's heart.
This story is inspired by my Miraculous: Tales of Dove Papillon, Cat Noir, Night Crow and crew story. Along with a few Crow stories, normal and crossovers.
Moreover, in future chapters, Angel Cuervo will be joined by a partner, who calls herself Hooded Raven. She looks like Angel Cuervo, but in a combination of various shades of white and black.
In the next chapter, Angel Cuervo will encounter Ladybug and Cat Noir for the first time. However, should either of Paris' heroes turn hostile, they'll find out the hard way just how powerful Angel Cuervo really is.
See you in chapter 2.)
