Creation 0: The Discovery
Date: March 12, 2020, 9 PM
It was nighttime at a big continent stars twinkling in the night sky, it was very very peaceful;.
Until.
Something shined in the night sky and it wasn't a star,
It was a meteorite and it was coming down fast. During the descent, the meteorite began to break into multiple pieces of itself and the pieces spread across one part of the continent, however, the largest one was going over a city, before...
*CRASH*
Crashlanding on a mountain a few miles away from the city
The meteorite cooled down after the crash and a faint light was glowing from inside the meteorite, inside it, there was something glowing bright, glowing silver in which before fading and not lighting up again for the rest of the night
The Next Day
From inside the rock, a faint.
*Clank*
Can be heard with the muffled sound of some type of construction happening outside.
*Clank*
The noise came louder
*Clank*
And Louder
*CLANK*
And louder
Until.
*CLANK*
*CLATTER*
The wall made of rock all clatter downed like glass as light now goes into the hollow meteorite.
Walking into the meteorite was an eighteen-year-old boy wearing long sleeves, pants, an excavator vest, and a hardhat.
"Woah."
The boy looks around the hollow rock before his eyes lay on something in the center of the meteorite, in the center was rock forming a spiral podium, and placed on the podium was a rock shaped into a rectangular object with a circular part in the center and the right (or left if it is from the view of the boy) side of the object. The boy picks it up and looks at it amazed.
"What is this?"
The boy exits the meteorite revealing an excavation site around the meteor looking at the rocks with excavators breaking the meteorite into small pieces.
Date: March 13, 2020
Time: 5 PM
The boy walks through the excavation site before heading towards a tent with a man in his thirties talking to other excavators.
"Um, boss?"
The man turned to look at the boy.
"Yes, Dex?"
"I have found something inside the meteorite."
The boy named Dex shows the man the artifact found.
"Wow, fascinating, you never cease to amaze me, kid."
Dex smiled at that.
However
"But sadly, this wouldn't last forever."
"Huh?"
"Sorry Dex but, even after everything you have helped us with, I have to discharge you."
This shocked Dex.
"W-What?"
"You exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond with it causing problems for our other employees, so we have no choice but to discharge."
Dex's face darkened.
"I-I understand, boss."
The man put his hand on his shoulder causing him to look up at the man's face.
"But don't worry you're not leaving empty-handed."
The man then pulled out a piece of paper from his vest and gave it to him.
"I know your last day of high school ends next week so as a reward for helping us for many years, here is your final check."
The man gave the check to Dex and he read the check and it shows it has.
"A MILLION RISARS!?"
"And as a token of appreciation from all of us, we are letting you keep the artifact you have found from the meteorite as a souvenir from the times you have helped us out."
Dex's face lightened and had a smile to it.
"Thank you, boss."
He shook the man's hand.
"Please, call me Exca. You deserve," the man or Exca said. "Wish you luck Dex."
"Thanks, Exca."
With that, Dex packs up his stuff, took off his excavator equipment and leaves,
"Well that sucks, getting discharged from the work you have been working at for many years," he said walking through the path. "But hey I still have other jobs, and I am certain whatever the future throws at me."
"I shall forge my fate!"
Inside his bag, the strange artifact began to glow
