So, i thought of something that I haven't seen happen in this site before, an open collab!

Basically I publish the base story -read below- and you write what happens next and publish it as a separate story! If you want you can also PM the story to me and I'll add it as a chapter to this one (crediting you of course)!

The ninja pushed their way through the crowd. Something was definitely going on, and the team of ninja wanted to know what it was. They finally found themselves in front of the crowd, looking up to see a podium.

A constrictrai was standing on a podium and looking through the crowd.

"Zane can you pull up any info on him?" Jay whispered to the nindroid.

"It seems he is Professor Rackio, Ninjago's first serpentine professor." Zane whispered back: "It seems he is here to hold a speech."

"Nice observation Frosty, can you figure out what it's about?" Kai butted in.

"Let's listen and we'll find out." Zne nodded.

As the crowd quieted down the constrictrai started.

"Greetings everyone, I am professor Rackio, for starters I want to thank everyone for coming here to listen to what I have to say." This speech seemed to be rather well rehearsed.

"As most of you know I am here to discuss the topic of Cross Species Adoption Discouragement, C.S.A.D for short. In my humble opinion it is completely unnecessary and quite harmful." Some yells of protest and furious 'boo' sounds could be heard, people weren't pleased.

"If you would let me explain why I believe this is the case you could see my point." Professor Rackio raised his voice a bit and the crowd quieted down again.

"As we all probably know, the foster system is overcrowded, but what most people don't realise is that ninety percent, and I am not exaggerating, ninety percent of those children are serpentine. Most of whom were abandoned as mere eggs, not unlike myself.

And because of C.S.A.D, most of these serpentine stay in the foster system, all the way until they grow too old to stay in the system, ending up in the streets and shelters. And this situation is not getting better.

I have met people who could be the next Cyrus Borg, but they were never given to opportunities they needed, I have met people who have ideas that could help thousands, but merely because of this foolish 'discouragement' they never got the time of day.

I know we are different in many ways on the outside. But if you look past the scales and the skin, you see, we are really the same. Yes, we sleep for three months, so what? Why should that make any serpentine less than a human? Just because we are the minority we are lesser? That sounds ridiculous when said out loud doesn't it?

So I ask again, what is the point of this discouragement, other than to drive us further apart?

I say we push aside our differences and fear, whether human or serpentine, let's work together for a future where people like my father aren't looked down upon just because they decided to give an opportunity to a kid like me, to a serpentine.

Thank you." With that he walked off the stage.

The ninja looked each other with surprised expressions.

"I mean, I heard the system was mainly crowded with serpentine but I had no idea it was this bad." Cole rubbed the back of his neck as the ninja tried to leave with as few people as possible spotting them.

"Yeah, I wish we could help somehow." Nya muttered.

"Maybe Sensei Wu could let us foster a kid?" Lloyd jumped.

"Learning and getting the permission to be a foster parent is hard work, besides, our lifestyle would not be ideal for fostering in the first place. Perhaps we could donate some money to shelters and the foster system instead." Zane pointed out.

"Good point." Jay rubbed the back of his neck.

Back at the monestary.

"My students I have news." Wu was standing in front of something.

"What is it uncle?" Lloyd stepped forward.

"I adopted this child and she now lives at the monestary." Wu stepped to the side revealing a venomari child with a deep green hide and corn yellow eyes.

"Hello everyone, my name is Maize."
