Cherryton Academy: a boarding school, featuring separate dorms for carnivores and herbivores. The bedrooms are separated by gender and are divided into floors of carnivores and herbivores. The room assignment is designed so that it is shared by animals from the same family. The school comes with its shop, which supplies uniforms, stationery, and a kiosk for quick food. Its students are all given ID cards, which are used for a variety of purposes, including photo identification, and can provide access to such amenities as borrowing books at the school library, attending school events, and receiving discounts at local stores and movie theaters. The school is on top of a hill, so the city center is quite far away. The academy's emblem looks like a triangle, but it's a footstep. Reptiles at the school who don't have paws don't seem to like the emblem.
Cherryton seems to be quite a famous school, however, despite this elite status among society, Cherryton has failed to produce a Beastar for at least 5 years, compared to its more successful rival schools that can produce a Beastar once a year. That because of the unstable relationship between carnivores and herbivores.
In the eyes of the herbivores, carnivores only care about eating the carcasses of the herbivores they killed, while the carnivores see that herbivores are viewed in a better light than carnivores due to their lack of predatory instincts and can carry great influence.
And the Carn-Herb situations have gotten worse as there have been some incidents in the last couple of weeks that a couple of students had been found unconscious all around the school, and what more stunning is that all of the unconscious students are big carnivores. As the news spread around the school, Cherryton carnival student seems to be on edge on not only to other carnivores but herbivores as well, thinking that it was the herbivores easy of saying that they're not afraid anymore.
Cherryton School, Nighttime
It was silent, the day had ended and everybody went to their dorms to get a good night's sleep, well almost everybody. In the drama club practice room, a student was sweeping up the floor late at night. That person was Els, a female Angora Goat and a dancer of the club. She decided to volunteer for clean-up duty as a distraction to keep her mind off what happened to Tem. After she was done with the clean-up, she put away the cleaning utensil, turn off the light, locks the door behind her, and headed towards her dorm.
As she made her way home, she was unaware that she was being watched, as her mind was still on Tim, unable to tell him how she felt for him. Her thought was brought to a halt as she heard a loud growl near her, causing her to look to see who it was, but it was too dark to know exactly where the noise was coming from. Feeling a little scared, she quickens her pace, only to hear the growling getting louder, which made her run as fast as she could. Not watching where she was going, she trips onto a rock, causing her to fall onto her front near the entrance of the front school. When she turned around, unable to get up not because she was injured, but because of fear as she saw before her in darkness were a pair of blood-shot eyes staring right in front of her. As the pair of eyes made their way towards her, all she can do it tear up and close her eyes, waiting for her end to come and finally be together with Tem. As she heard a roar, she assumes that means that whoever was there was charging towards her and ready to devour her, only to notice that nothing happen for a few minutes. As she slowly opens her eyes, she was shocked to see that not only she was unharmed, but right in front of her, there were two figures. One was a huge male white tiger wearing the school uniform. Right before he can close his eyes, Eld saw the bloodshot eyes, indicating that he was the attacker. The second figure who was standing on top of the tiger she couldn't quite get a good look at it as if it was hiding its face in the darkness, only to see that it was wearing a white zip-up armless shirt brownish-green shorts, and brown shoes. Before she could ask who or what it was, a light shine on her face, making her turn to see that a couple of teachers are heading this way. As she turns her head back around back, she notices that the individual was gone, only leaving her and the unconscious tiger. As the teachers made their way towards the two, Els wonders who or what her savior is.
The Next Morning
Many students surround the bulletin board, most of which smaller students as squirrels or mice were placed on the larger student's shoulder so that they get a better look at the newly place newsletter notifying that the large white tiger student was found unconscious last night, which surprise a lot of students since tigers were one of the toughest species in the school.
This latest incident has caught the attention of two students. One was a gray wolf know as Legoshi while the other was a Bangel tiger named Bill. In Legoshi's perspective, whoever taking out the large carnivores without hurting one another was quite skill and possibly dangerous as well. Bill however was furious as to see that a tiger was taken out, thinking that this will make other tigers look like a laughing stock, especially to the female. He wanted to find the culprit and put them in his/her place.
After answering some questions the teachers ask for her, Els was sitting alone on a bench somewhere, staring up at the sky with the same question pounding in her head to who or what saved her, with a slight blush on her face.
