Niffty sat in a bean bag chair as she read one of her Yaoi fanfics.

"He bit off the Pocky, inch by inch, until he reach his lover's lips and their tongues interlocked in a sensual embrace."

Niffty looked over at Angel, who had his head on his hand as he sighed.

"Angel, what's wrong? You usually like my Yaoi fanfics. Is it that bad?"

"What?" said Angel, snapping back into reality, "Oh, it's not you or your fanfics; I was just thinking about something else."

"Tell me." said Niffty.

"Eh, you wouldn't be interested in a sob story about my life."

Niffty crawled over and sat next to the spider demon, looking at him with her giant cyclops eye as if asking him to tell her his story.

Angel looked at the tiny demon and sighed.

"Well, I guess you could say it started with me and my father; he wasn't exactly the understanding type, especially in those days when those like me that had certain 'preferences' weren't seen in the brightest light. He tried to toughen me up, even had me go into the 'family business', but that didn't change anything. It got so bad that I had to leave and next thing I knew I ended up here and now I have to do business with a guy who treats me like shit while at the same time coaxes me. At this point I just feel so... broken..."

Niffty looked at the spider demon. She could see the pain in his eyes, which made her heart sink a little. She went up to Angel and puts her hand on his shoulder.

"You know, In Japan, sometimes artisans will repair broken pottery with gold."

"What's that suppose to mean?" asked Angel in confusion.

"It means sometimes the things that are most broken end up being the most beautiful."

"I'll probably end up looking like an Oscar by the time I'm fixed..." said Angel, "but that is a nice sentiment. Thank you."

"Glad I can help." smiled Niffty.
