Hi everybody,

I had a terrible day that sadly is just the beginning of another terrible week of school : (

So this evening as I was relaxing, I started to write this and I think this could became a nice multi-chapter story...

I won't tell you anything more... just try to read the first chapter.

Good reading.

TEEN IN LOVE

To say she was nervous was the least bit. She was going crazy, didn't know how to behave, didn't know what to wear. Her red sweater makes her look like a whore and her black one was just too boring. Nothing seemed to fit right on her today. First impression last, they say. And it was affecting her.

"Donna, come on. You'll be late"

"I'm coming mom"

Donna looked at herself in the mirror of her wardrobe. In the end she opted for a short and light blue sweater and some simple dark gray jeans.

She grabbed her bag and then ran downstairs to meet her mom.

"Here" her mother said and gave her a bottle of water that Donna put immediately into her bag with the books she'll need for the day.

"Thanks mom, call me if you need anything okay?"

"Don't worry sweety, I just have cancer, I'm not dying or something" her mother shrugged.

"Promise you'll call if you need me" Donna looked at the older woman in the eye and pointed a firm finger to her.

"I promise. Now go" her mother opened the door and kept it open for her daughter to get out.

Donna smiled and kissed her mother's cheek lovingly and then started to walk towards her new school to face a new chapter of her life.

Donna's mother, Bethany, found out she was ill about two years ago. Luckily she discovered it at a very mild stage and after several consultations with different doctors, she started various therapies and at first they seemed to work. The pain was mild and her physique could bear but in recent months the symptoms have worsened and Donna and her mother have had to move to Boston for a new experimental cure.

Today was Donna's first day of school, she had to start her sophomore year and chose to specialize in economics. It won't be easy since she spent her first year at university studying theater, but during the summer she got into books every day and started studying economics and tackled the topics her new class studied during the first year.

She stopped at the entrance of the building. She got lost and had to ask a random boy who pointed out to her the building where there are the classrooms of economics, biology and part of the law classrooms.

She was ready and felt ready. She kept reminding herself that she is Donna and she can do anything she wants. She's got this.

Taking a deep breath, she found the strength to enter and search for her classroom. She took a seat in one of the first rows of chairs and opened her notebook.

She looked around and saw a line of students enter and take their seats in the remaining vacant seats. A small group caught her attention, there were three girls and four boys.

One boy looked like a middle school boy, blue-eyed and blond. Beside him was a slightly taller boy, brown-haired and with a slightly square face and a pissed expression. The third boy was incredibly similar to the second only a little thinner and with a sly expression.

But it was the fourth that fully caught Donna's interest, he was the tallest, he has light brown hair, big and chocolate brown eyes, he's built but not too strong, just enough to understand that he is a sporty type. His face follows perfect features and a perfect jaw.

Next to him, there was a girl with short hair, very pretty, she seemed determined and her hands seemed to fall every two seconds on the chest or arms of the good looking boy.

Donna rolled her eyes there.

The other two girls seemed more opened and more friendly. A blond and a brunette.

Donna spent some time looking at them and then when the professor entered and started to write with a white chalk on the blackboard her focus shifted to the lesson.

Just when the lesson ended, she found out the brunette from earlier sat right next to her and was now looking at her with a wide smile.

"Hi, I'm Rachel" she stuck out her hand for Donna and the redhead shook it.

"Donna"

"You're the new girl right?"

"Ehm yeah…" Donna nodded with her head feeling herself blushing a little.

"Well, if you need to catch up with the lessons you can ask me" Rachel offered politely.

"Oh thank you. I will" Donna smiled. She was glad the people here were so nice.

"And Friday there will be a party at my friend's house" she pointed to the third guy Donna saw, "Stephen lives in a big apartment and decided to throw a party to 'start well the school year', his words not mine" she laughed.

"Oh, well thanks. I'll see if I can come" Donna smiled and then apologized and went away because she had another class in ten minutes.

Donna came home and had lunch with her mother and then went to do her homework. When she finished, she had some spare time before dinner and took out of her bag another notebook and started drawing.

It's her favourite hobby, drawing. She started when she was five and she got better and better growing older.

She took her pencil and drew the first thing that came to her mind. His face. His perfect lineaments and his marked jawline. His eyes and the veins on his neck. His nose and that lips. Those rosy lips.

She drew until dinner time, when her mother called her from downstairs.

"So, how was it?" she asked.

"It was good. Really interesting, I think I like it. And I met a nice girl who invited me to a party and offered to help me with the lessons since I'm new"

"Oh that's great honey" Bethany smiled and sat down. "Are you going there?"

"Where?" Donna asked, eating a bite of her food.

"To the party"

"Oh, that. Yeah, I don't think so. I mean I can't leave you here, alone all night-"

"Donna don't ruin your life for me"

"I'm not, I'm choosing to stay with you"

"Please Donna" her mother takes her hand, "Go to that party. You will meet new people and make new friends"

"Okay, mom, I'll think about it" Donna nodded and a comfortable silence fell in the room.

"Rachel, wait" Donna yelled and ran after the only girl she was familiar with.

"Oh, good morning Donna"

"Hey, I wanted to ask you where the house of your friend is. I think I'm gonna come"

"That's great, if you give me your number I'll text you the address"

The girls exchanged numbers and then entered the economy classroom.

In the middle of the lesson the professor decided to make some questions and see who was the fastest to answer.

"Which neighbouring country has better performance in terms of human development than India?"

"Sri lanka" Donna heard a girl say and turned around, she was the girl who yesterday was all over the good looking boy.

"Excellent Miss Scott" the teacher said and passed to another question, "Development of a country can generally be determined by, what?"

"Its per capital income, its average literacy level and the health status of its people" Donna immediately said. She remembered this part was the most interesting topic she studied and it was also easy to remember.

She heard someone scoff and could sense the same person roll their eyes. She turned and saw Miss Scott looking at her deadly. Donna smirked, she wasn't one to step back from some pure competition.

The professor asked three other questions and Donna answered two of them and Miss Scott just one.

Paulsen 3 - Scott 2

Friday came really quickly. For the night Donna put on a shirt skirt and a white button up shirt that she tagged inside the leather black skirt. She put on some collant and a pair of dark boots and painted her lips with dark red lipstick.

She said bye to her mother and repeatedly asked her to call her if she needed something, being it urgent or not.

She took her mother's car and drove to the address Rachel gave her some days previous. The house was quite big and already some random guys were drinking, talking and laughing outside in the little garden.

Donna looked around a bit uncomfortable trying to spot someone familiar. She knew Rachel was coming, and also that weird guy named Louis who shares her passion for theatre.

She decided to enter and when she walked into the building she was met with music and low lights. Turning to the right you could go to the kitchen where there were a lot of drinks: beer, wine and stronger drinks. Turning to the left instead, you arrive in the living room where many people were talking and playing any kind of game.

"Donna, here" Rachel screamed and Donna smiled walking to her new friend.

"Rachel, hi"

"Here, let me introduce you" the brunette took Donna's hand and brought her in the middle of the living room where there was a big red couch and some puffs where the group of friends Donna spotted the first day of school was seated.

"This is Mike" the blond guy, "This is Trevor and she's Paula" she pointed to the pair and Donna understood immediately there was something there, the way his arm was around her and the way she looked at him were all signs of love. "And last but not least, she is Dana Scott, but friends call her Scottie"

Scottie. The girl in the class she battled with.

"Hi, there" Donna smiled.

Rachel told Donna to take a seat and the redhead listened to the group talking. At some point, after an hour or so, Donna's eyes caught the figure of a person. Not just a person though. The only person who wasn't there with his friends.

The good looking boy entered the room with a big red cup in a hand and an attractive grin on his face. It was like he was lighting up the room, everyone talking to him. Every boy made everything to make him laugh and every girl seemed to melt when he smiled.

And Donna partly hated it when she felt herself melt too. She wasn't one to give guys so much credit. She wanted to focus on school and just that, but something in her twitched when she first looked at him.

"Harvey, finally" Donna's trance was interrupted by Scottie screaming.

Harvey, his name is Harvey.

He walked over the couch and sat down. Donna could swear Scottie scoot the closest possible to him but staying distant enough for the others not to notice. But she did, notice.

"Donna, this is Harvey. Harvey, Donna" Rachel introduced them.

Donna's eyes snapped up and were met by pure chocolate colored eyes. When their gaze met, Donna felt something in her stomach, it was like excitement mixed with electricity and something else she couldn't recognize.

They held gaze for a long moment until Scottie's voice broke the magic. And Donna released a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"What if we play truth or dare?" Dana was looking right at Donna with a false smile and her eyes narrowed.

"Yeah why not" Paula agreed.

"I start" Trevor started, "Mike, truth or dare?"

"Dare"

"I dare you to drink this" he gave Mike a cup and then took vodka, tequila and some sprite and mixed everything.

"Oooh" Donna heard.

Mike drank the liquid all in a breath and cough a little when he finished but assured everyone he was okay.

"My turn now" Scottie announced when she noticed Harvey was looking at the redhead with too much interest for her liking. She leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees and looked at Donna, "Truth or dare"

"Dare" Donna answered.

"Amazing" Scottie smirked and then turned to Harvey, then looked at Donna again. "I dare you to go to Stephen right there" she pointed at a guy who was talking to some other guys and giving his back to them, "And go to his room for seven minuts in Heaven"

"Scottie" Rachel scoffed.

"W-what?" Donna struggled to find words.

"What" Scottie shrugged, "is just an occasional hook up, it's nothing. Unless, unless you are a virgin"

Donna felt herself blushing and all the eyes fell on her.

"Truth" Donna changed her answer, hoping to change the subject of the conversation and drop the virgin topic.

"Ok, then, are you a virgin?" Scottie smirked.

"Dana stop" Rachel tried to get in the conversation.

"Oh, the new little redhead is a virgin. Life is not going to be easy" Scottie continued, "Why are you though? Are you some kind of nun or it's just that boys don't want you" Donna heard Trevor and Paula laugh.

Mike's and Rachel's expressions were worried while Harvey stood there watching the scene.

"So, what is it? Nun or just not wanted?" Scottie pressed.

Donna stood up and ran away, saying nothing, not giving Dana the satisfaction.

"Why did you do this? She is nice" Rachel whimpered and ran after the redhead.

Scottie laughed and leaned back to rest her body against the backrest.

"Well, since the little nun didn't answer it's still my turn I guess" Scottie smirked, and that's when she came up with an idea, "Harvey? I have a dare for you"
