Dio Brando the sole heir of the Brando lineage known as many things such as a street rat, a bully, a thief, a poisoner, and most importantly a vampire.

Dio having poisoned his own father then got adopted into the Joestar family George Joestar treating Dio as he would his own son Jonathan Joestar.

Dio had bullied Jonathan in their young years having done cruel things to make Jonathan miserable.

Nine years later George fell terribly ill, and Jonathan finds out that he has the same symptoms that Dio's biological father Dario Brando had before he died.

This caused Jonathan to suspect Dio of poisoning George and Dario.

Dio acted a fool acting like he had done no wrong and tries to intimidate Jonathan into forgetting the incident.

However, when told to swear on the honor of Dario's name and honor Dio's act falters and gets angry at the mention of Dario's name saying,

"How can I swear on the honor of a man who didn't have any?!"

This proves as enough evidence for Jonathan that Dio has been poisoning George and had poisoned Dario.

Jonathan goes to Ogre street to find more evidence and meets a man by the name of Robert E. O. Speed wagon. Dio having been found out plans on murdering Jonthan using an old stone mask that when blood gets on it launches spindles into the wearers head.

However, Dio gets a new plan when he finds out that the mask turns the wearer into a beast of unimaginable strength when he tries it out on a drunk man but is saved by daylight as the man turns to dust.

Dio upon finding this information out decides on a plan to use the mask on himself using Jonathan's blood.

Jonathan is saved by George and then decides he must defeat Dio no matter the cost.

Dio escapes the Joestar manor and takes residence in a nearby castle like structure and after another fight with Jonathan who now has the power of the Ripple or Hamon loses everything but his head and then steals Jonathan's body on a ship that was heading to the new world blowing the ship up in the process and being trapped at the bottom of the ocean in a coffin.

One hundred years later the year is now 1983, Dio's coffin is raised out of the water by a crane attached to a fishing boat.

One of the fisherman say "We did it we found it. It's been lost for a hundred years, but now the treasure is ours!"

The fishermen start to pull it on board. One of them shouting directions at the other. "All right careful now! Keep calm! Just bring it this way…" The other one feed up says "I got it! I got it!"

The fisherman controlling the crane says, "Isn't this a bit long for a treasure chest?"

They set it down one of them saying "Yes! Pry it open, quick!"

He gets interrupted by the one with the knife "Wait. How bizarre… This box is locked from the inside."

The one from before saying "Who gives a crap? Just bust it open!"

"H-Hold on there's something engraved here… D…I…O… Dio."

"Do you think anyone gives a damn?! The sun is about to set! Once it gets dark, it'll be impossible to see how to get it open!"

"Yeah, good point! I'll go get the blowtorch!"

When the sun sets all the way Dio gets out of the coffin the fishermen having just broke it open.

Dio says as he sits up wearing what Jonathan's body was wearing one hundred years ago "Finally after all those years I'm free."

The three fishermen are all shocked as Dio stands up as he sinks his fingers into the nearest fisherman's neck sucking the blood out of his body making him shrivel up as his bloodless husk of a corpse falls to the ground.

One of the fishermen speak up "What the hell did you do?! What are you?!"

"I must thank you for pulling me out of the water tell me what is it that you want?"

Dio's hair turns into long tentacle like things with a sharp end to them.

"What I want…?"
