Acking. That's all her body felt. This acking felt as though every fiber of her being was on fire, or maybe even a stabbing feeling. Like every nerve in her body was being split in two. Head to toe of pure acking, numbing, tingling agony. Every fiber of her figure felt completely stiff at the moment she tried to move. Nothing was working. Then all of a sudden this crawling feeling started to creep up their legs. It felt as though something was crawling up the leggings of the overalls.

This was a very uncomfortable feeling. Wanting to get rid of the feeling my body tried to move even more. Nothing was cooperating. The joints within her body felt as though it was made of pure unmined stone. That's when the warmth started to creep around her legs. The warm liquid pooling under the legs of her body. Mouth opening to let out the scream that was trying to claw it's way out of her throat. To scream out for help, out in pain, scream out for something, anything, but nothing would come out.

The taste of dirt filling her, mouth, the sandy texture hitting her taste buds. Realization hit her hard. Hands finally moving from the rush of adrenalin. Clawing away at the ground above her. Clawing away at the dirt, and small pebbles that were in her way. Nails bending backwards. Sending flairs of pain down numbing arms. Lungs burning desperately for one thing. The one thing that was lacking in them.

Air. The only thought that filled her mind as she blindly dug upwards. Digging away at the unknown dirt above her. Ever so slowly digging away. Moving the dirt blindly around her form. Clearing away a path. Till finally a chilling breeze went around the numb blue tinted hand. Joy filled her dizzy mind as she finally broke free from the layers of dirt she was buried under. A small laugh left her cracked dirt covered lips. Dirt and specks put stone flying out of her mouth as she was finally freed from her odd prision.

The bright blue moon shining down on her body. Black hair matted, tangled, and sprawled out all over the place. Covering her face. Blood leaving the tips of her fingers. Joy rushing through out her body. That joy lasting for only a few moments. All of a sudden her entire body felt completely cold. Exept for the warmth pooling around her legs. That feeling crept into her throat, before the odd warmth started to dribble down her lips. Shakily a hand went up to her lips, before slowly drawing back.

The red liquid glistened for a moment, before moving on it's own accord. A small white looking worm moving around. Pupils narrowed as she started to cough in panic. Blood landing on the ground below her, along with more of those little worms wriggling around. Screams eventually erupted from her throat. Her entire body was bloody, mangled, and rotten. Some bones and muscles showing from under the skin, while her internal organs laid on the ground behind her by her broken legs.

Little worms covering her body as they ate away at her body. Screams continuing to erupt from her. The sound slowly started to become muffled as the would turned fuzzy. A group of people started to walk up to her. Her eyes looked up at the group as they just stared at her. Some of them had blood on their body, while the others had this sickening grin. Faint laughter filled the world. Soon the whole world turned black. Around the body shadowy figures stood. Such familiar outlines, while behind the persons body stood a single tree.

With the words carved into it. "Jesse... R.I.P tiny warrior. Have fun with the maggots and worms in the ground. The fate that your worthless little life has always deserved~"

With one quick movement Jesse sat up, gasping for air. Shakily tempting to catch her breath and getting her breathing back on track. Pupils shrunken and shaking with every breath. Taking a couple of long agonizing minutes for her breathing to finally even out. Slowly she took calming deep breaths. Once she finally calmed down she was able to finally take in her surroundings. They were in their room. Not outside a freshly unearthed grave.

She rubbed a hand up her head and froze at the thick coat of sweat that covered her body. "Ew... I should really take a shower... mm... or a bath." Her gaze went down to the simple green blanket over her lap. Taking a couple of moments before standing up. Her pajamas stuck to her limbs uncomfortably. She quickly fixed her bed up her mind wandering in thought of the nightmares.

Yet another nightmare out of one of the many other nightmares that's been happening nights on end over the course of the last few months. Nothing she does was working. At first she thought it was due to stress as working as the hero in residence/mayor. So she took time off. Going to Lukas's place and with his help the of them building a nice little cabin out by the edge of the jungle that he lived by.

That barely helped. She blinked realizing that she had managed to walk into the bathroom without even realizing it. Jesse simply shrugged as she turned the faucet to almost boiling. Sighing as she pulled at the layers of sweat coated clothes off and placed it onto a random pile by the tub and rubbed her face as she walked into the shower. Sighing as the water hit her skin.

At first the nightmares started off like any other normal nightmare. Like being lost in a cave, with no weapon or torches to help light the way. Getting lost in a forest or other biome or even in a void and either dying of hunger or a monster killing her. Then there were the nightmares where she would drown in the ocean. Nightmares of getting chased by a psychopath and being killed by them.

Though they slowly started to get worst. One of them felt like it was a vivid memory. This dread was the one that start. When everything started to get worse. There she was standing in an old musky rotting room. Standing a little aways from an old musty bedroom. There on the bed laid Lukas. Tied up. Looking around in confusion before finally landing on her. He wanted her to let him go but she didn't. She pulled out a knife and walked closer.

A sadistic grin on my face as I stabbed his leg and giggled happily. Then before I knew it I was laughing like a man woman and continued to stab, cut, and twist the blade. The only other sound that echoed around aside from Lukas' wails and pleads, where a group of children that were giggling loudly behind her. Laughing louder and louder, before they starter to sing an odd song.

They started to sing this song when she cut Lukas' stomach open and pulled at his intestines. A sickening feeling washed over her. Her knees buckling as she slid the shower curtain to the side and bent over the toilet. Dry heaving until nothing but bile came up her throat. The memory of that dream horrified her. It wasn't the only horrid dream that was like it. All the horrible acts that she did to her friends in those dreams. Those dreams haunted her through out the day. It made her lose her appetite.

Aside from the memories making her sick to the stomach she just didn't feel hungry at all. Over the last few months she's tried many different things to try and fix whatever was causing the nightmares. From change in diet, to redecorating her room 3 times, to even trying to have her closest friends Olivia and Axel sleep over for a night or two. Nothing was working.

The only thing that would happen is that she would either awaken from the nightmare before it got horrible. To simply having none for a single night, before it started back up again the next night.

Everyone in town started to notice her change in mood. Lately Jesse hasn't been as happy, excited, or energetic as she normally was. A hand full of people think that Jesse was still upset about what the Admin did to her, the town and others. While other thought that she was depressed about Petra leaving. Since everyone talk notice in her change some people tried their best to cheer her up. Mostly in small ways since everyone couldn't think of what to do.

Like how the guy that owns a pig farm outside of town surprised her with the best surprise she loved for weeks. He asked Radar to borrow a room and brough over a large batch of newborn piglets and hurded them into the room. She got to hold and cuddle all the sweet little piglets all day. It did help cheer her up for a month, only got her mood to just drop again.

Some people would invite her over to small parts they were throwing or the miners would invite her on a mining adventure. Those would only cheer her up for a short amount of time. It never got ride of the nightmares though. Sometimes it only made them worse. Which is what changed her the most. Those haunting nightmares that found themselves to follow her into the real world.

Even Axel and Olivia tried out an idea they had. Rebuilding the old tree house that they used to live in together. The three of them simply hing out just like old times... that didn't work either. So lately Jesse has simply opted to stay inside the order hall. Sure, it wasn't healthy at all, but Jesse hates making everyone worry about her. It was easier to stay inside thinking that everyone was doing okay on their own then to see their worried faces.

Though ever since she started to stay indoors it's made her assistant worry even more then he normally worries. A sigh left her lips as she pulled her top over her head and fixed the sleeves. "Where did I put those new overalls..?" She muttered to herself as she walked to the closet. Wearing nothing but her top and underwear. A faint smile formed as she pulled out a pare of overalls from the closet.

She smiled as she placed them on and clocked the buttons of the straps into place. Her gaze went over to the mirror that hung on the back of her closet door. Staring at her reflection as she ran a very pale ivory hand though her long raven black hair. She didn't look that good at all. Dark bags under her eyes, normally pale ivory skin appeared to be more of a white color then ivory, and her hair was more messy. Tangles and knots littered her hair.

Judgement lingered in her dull emerald eyes as she judged the new overalls. They were a fairly simple. A gift that a little kid in town made for her, with the help of her mother of course. The fabric is a gently soft pink that from the knees down turned white. A pink bow laced around the base of the left leg and a magnesium purple on the base of the right. On the chest is a dark pink heart shaped pocket.

All and all the overalls were nice. Maybe not something that she'd wear that often but would occasionally wear. Maybe a once a week... maybe once a month thing. That didn't stop it from looking adorable. 'That mother and daughter did a great job.' Her thoughts wandered for a moment. There wasn't much that made her smile nowadays. So the few times she can actually smile and feel slightly happy was nice.

A couple thought races through her mind as she walked out of her bedroom and down the hall. The walk was nothing but a massive blur until she realized she suddenly found herself in the dining room. Her stomach growling from hunger. Just thinking of food made the raven haired girl even hungrier. That is until one of those nightmares popped into her head and took away any hunger that she felt. Turning her hunger into nausea.

A worried sigh left the assistant as he paced around the kitchen. Glancing at the dining room door Radar kept an eye out for Jesse, before looking over at the food that he cooked for Jesse and himself. Lately it's been a pretty rough couple of months. Ever since the Admin incident Jessr hasn't acted the same. Well she's sort of been the same, but she in't the exact same person as before. A moment later the door opened.

Ebony brown eyes watching as the oak door opened. A certain raven haired hero walking into the dining room. Dark purple almost black bags hung under their once bright emerald eyes. Their eyes dully glancing around as if she were surprised to be in the dinning room before taking notice of a worried looking assistant. "Hey Radar. How are you this morning?" A tiny smile formed on her lips.

It was easy to tell that the smile is a forced smile. "... you had another nightmare didn't you?" Radar started at the hero as she eventually asked up to the table and sat down. Radar walked over, standing across the table, and placed a bowl of mushroom stew infront of his ideal. She simply pushed the bowl of mushroom stew away from her body and rested her arms on the table.

"Jesse... please eat something. Even if it's only a single bite of an apple." He frowned worriedly. Pulling an apple from his inventory, and held the red ripe apple out to his hero. Hopeful to see his hero finally eat again. Jesse simply staid still barely moving a muscle. Seemingly contemplating the thought of eating, before slowly reaching out, and taking the apple from the assistance grasp.

"Fine... I'm debating on whether to go for a walk or not... they're still a bunch of those papers in the office that need to get done." Her gaze looking up at Radar. "Oh yes! I know what you're talking about. Theres those along with letters from everyone in town. Um... Jesse... I'm really worried about you and these Nightmare you've been having. You need to see someone about these issues. Maybe a doctor? Psychologist?" Radar kindly suggested. A smidge of hope seeping into the tone of his voice.

"No Radar... nothing will help. Trust me. This isn't the first time this has happened. Theres nothing that can fix it." A small sigh left her as she finally took a bite into an apple. "B-But jesse how can you be sure? Are you saying that... th-this isn't the first time this has happened to you? When was the first time this happened?" Radar frowned. Racing around the table to stand beside his hero. Jesse sighed and said nothing staring at the table before looking at the apple. Mentally debating on whether the conversation would be worth it.

"... The first time was seven years ago. Back when me and my friends became the new Order of The Stone. Not long after the Wither storm was defeated. Though that was mostly my mourning over Ruben. Once the Portal Hallway Madness started... they stopped. Probably cause I was stressed out and distracted with trying to get back home. Only to start up once again once we returned from all that... it took over a year and a half for it to stop the first time. During that time I tried so many things. Looking up potion ideas, reading books for sleep problems, even went to doctors. Nothing worked. So I just sucked it up and just dealt with it. They eventually went away. I found that writing down my nightmares to kind of be helpful... at least it only helped for a little... they were never this bad though." The last part was so quietly Radar swear he didn't hear her at all.

Jesse continued to eat the apple as she got onto her feet. "... I'll be back... hopefully soon." A small sigh left her before forcing a smile and jogging out the dining room door to have a run around town. Once Jesse was in the hall a thought went through Radar's mind. "If... If Jesse writes about her nightmares... then maybe I can read what their about... and maybe bright it to Ivor! He has so much knowledge of ancient potions! He'll have to know how to help!" A joyful grin formed on the sienna toned man as he ran into the hallway and sprinted down the hall towards Jesse's room.

His footsteps were muffled by the red carpet that laid along the ground. He didn't want to invade Jesse's privet life or go through her personal stuff, but he had to know wha was going on. Radar wanted to help Jesse. She's done so much for him when he was in despite need of help and has helped everyone in Beacon Town. He had to do something for her. Once he got to the door to Jesse's bedroom door. He shakily held his hand over the door knob.

Freezing for a split second wondering if he should really go on with his plan. He squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head. Making his debating thoughts leave as he nodded his head go himself. 'No. I'm doing this. I'm going to help Jesse!' His mind yelled at him as he twisted the bedroom door know and opened the oak wood door. Walking inside the smell of lavender hit his nose. The smell was coming from a small slab table beside the double bed. A few candles stood there.

Freshly melted wax cooling on the side of the stick and small wisps of smoke coming off the unlit candle. Hinting to the assistant that it was recently blew out. He looked around the room thinking. "Okay Radar. If you were Jesse where would you hide a book?" He questioned outloud. Eyes slowly gazing around the room as thoughts riddled his mind as he looked everything over. The room is a large 12 by 12 block square room on the second floor. The floor made out of dark oak with a large purple carpet infront of the bed.

There to his left is a along the wall is a closet that Jesse put her clothes, exercises, gifts, small trinkets, and other little things that she either got herself or things that was given to her by the kids in town. The walls a gentle dark cyan color. She had a simple canopy bed that had a black sheet that would cover the entire bed. It was something she added incase she got a migraine and needed to be left alone. Since it was easy to tell if she needed to he left alone. She also had a beautiful dark wood desk that was between the bed and massive long dresser.

"Obviously she wouldn't have this book out in the open... she must be hiding it in a secret redstone operated chest!.. Now the only question is... where would the levers be hidden?" He raised a brow eyes scanning over the room once again. There were a few possible places that a lever could be hidden. There were a few paintings on the walls, the closet, rug, and under the bed. Walking towards the closet a few thoughts went through his mind as he opened one of the closet doors and looked at the different clothes that hung there.

There were different overalls, shirts, pants, shoes, and a dresser behind a different closet door that was most likely filled with her socks and underwear. Deciding to keep his hands our of there for obvious reasons and looked back at the clothes on the hangers. Moving them to the clothes to look behind them. As he was looking a thought came to mind. He's never heard of Jesse ever wearing a dress before, seen her down right decline the idea of wearing one, and threw one out when someone gave it to her as a gift.

She was trying so hard to make sure no one saw her throw it out. To be honest he thought it was because it was given to her by one of those stalkers that was trying to partner up with her a few years back before she managed to kick them out of town and keep them from returning for obvious reasons. Though he never really understood why Jesse never wore a dress. The only thing he did know was that it was something very personal. The other thought that came to mind when this rare question came up is that it wouldn't be the best thing to logically fight in, which would make sense.

Plus it can easily get caught on something, or someone could easily look up it, or someone can grab a hold of it pull her back, or the worst and perverted thing someone can easily pull it up. He shook his head as the thought came to mind. Radar knew how perverted people could be but that didn't stop him from being grossed out at the thought. "Okay no lever in here." Closing the closet door and walking back to the center of the room and looking back at the other things in the room.

He walked towards the massive window that was on the left wall and looke out at Beacon Town. It was a lovely sight as you could see most of the builds in the street. Something that's quite inspiring and allows the imagination to wander. A smile forming before walked back towards the center of the room. An idea popped into his head as he walked towards the carpet. Kneeling down he lifted up the purple carpet and looked around searching for a lever, button, or even a pressure plate that could've been hidden there.

To his displeasure there was nothing. He shook his head and groaned kn frustration. Before he stood up something caught his attention from the corner of his eye. There was something under the bed. It appeared to be a handle or something else that shouldn't be there. Placing the carpet back it's original spot he stood up and walked over to the canopy queen sided bed a few thoughts went through his mind. Laying on his side and looked around under the bed. He squinted his eyes for a split second before they widened them as he noticed a lever that was hidden under the bed.

"Let's see..." He thought as he reached under the bed and flicked the lever. Keeping absolute quite to listen to the room. From somewhere within the room there was a loud click along with the sound if blocks shifting around. Quickly sitting up, head snapping around trying to find out what had changed. Radar didn't notice anything different from before. With a small frustrated grunge he laid on his back. Staring at the ceiling for a minute trying to think of everything he knew about redstone, and what possible redstone contraption that could've been set off.

He sighed as he laid there om his back looking at the ceiling and glancing around. That's when something else caught his eye. Pushing his glasses up and sitting up to get a better look at what he saw. There above the closet there was another lever. It was hard to notice if one wasn't looking for it or wasn't looking at the right angle. So well hidden that anyone would over look it unless someone knew of the levers existence. He couldn't help but feel a little gitty at how smart Jesse is.

Hurting to his feet he ran up go the closet. Thinking for a few moments before hurting over to the desk in the room and pulling the chair over to the closet. A small smile forming on his lips as he climbed onto the chair and looked above the closet. There on the wall there was a carefully placed lever. In a place only Jesse would find. Reaching forward he rested his hand on the lever. Stopping himself to think for a few seconds. Having a mental debate with his morals. "Maybe I shouldn't do this... no! No Radar! No fighting no debating on this! You've already gone this far. You cant turn back now." Shaking his head a little in frustration and glaring at the lever.

He couldn't back down. He had to grow some thicker skin just like he did back when the Admin took over. Back when he was in the Sunshine Institute with Jesse, Jack, Norm, and Petra. Back when he was being chased around by a 50 foot Enderman, magically finding himself in the Terminal, and helping Romeo get free from that place. With a simple flick of his wrist the lever was now pointing down. The whole room fell silent for only a few moments before a concret block in the wall beside the desk moved.

A chest being pushed out and held in place by a sticky piston. Within his mind he happily cheered while staring at the chest with wonder filled eyes. Slowly stalling down from the chair and slowly taking a few couscous steps towards the chest. It felt as through the inanimate object would come to life and bite him if he wasn't careful. Before he keep it Radar was sitting on his knees infront of the chest a hand on the lid. Ready to open it and see the contents within. "Okay Radar... so far so good." He muttered to himself.

Slowly lifting the chest open with ease. Ebony eyes widening a little as he stared at all the books that were inside of this small chest. On each leather binding had a simple number on it. Without thinking he slowly grabbed the first book in what felt like a series. Almost like he was about to read a series of solo adventures that Jesse had gone on during her time as a hero in residence.

The leather of the book felt old. It had some dust on the edge of the binding along with some bits of the leather being missing. A tattered piece of cloth hanging out from the book. The pages within a half full of the books were aged with time. Without even thinking he opened the book to a random page. At the top of the left page there was a Pink square that was colored in the upper left corner. There wasn't much to think about it since there wasn't anything to say what its meant to stand for.

Dear journal... diary... or whatever I'm still calling you.

Tonight I had another nightmare. It was worse then yesterday's. This would mark my fifth week straight of nothing but nightmares. This nightmare was bad. It was on the night I found Reuben. At the waterfall. The night sky full of nothing but stars. He wasn't a tiny defenseless piglet though. He was his adorable self. Happily nibbling on a carrot. We were waiting in a cave. For the sun to rise like any other time we were stuck needing to hide out for the night. That's when this sudden wave of an ice cold feeling that started to rush through my blood.

That's when dread filled my entire body. Reuben was just sitting next to me there on the cold stone. Relaxing like nothing was going on. I was calm until something grabbed my shoulder. Turning around slowly behind be stood this massive monster. It towered over me. Skin pale as pale can be. So pale that they were purple, gray, and slightly blue. Eyes were bloody and bleeding looking at me with lifeless eyes. Blood was also trailing down from its mouth. Past the blood there appeared to be sharp jagged broken teeth was poking out beyond the blood. It was just smiling at me and slowly leaned over me. Trying to get a better look I guess?

This thing was easily 8 feet tall. Arms so long and skinny that its hands went down to its knees. That's when it opened its mouth. It was a bloody void in there. Like its tongue was some how shredded into millions of little pieces. Allowing all the blood that would've corse through its tongue to fill its mouth. All that blood poured onto my face and body. It was all sticky and gross. Uncomfortable. So much blood... it stained my top to a pure crimson red. My hair completely flattening and sticking to my entire body.

I thought that was all that was going to happen when all of a sudden from within that bloody void two hands reached out from beyond all thar blood and sharp teeth. It grabbed the two of us and pulled us in. I don't even know why I wasn't fighting. My entire being was frozen. The only thing I could do was hold Reuben as close as I could as it pulled us into its mouth. It just swallowed us whole. Teeth scraping at my body as those hands pulled us further and further in. Slowly going down its throat.

It shifted and pulsed with each second as we continued to move further into its body. Till we got to its stomach. The ground was covered in pumpkins of all things. Mountains of the. Some of the pumpkins eyes glowed while the rest had no light in them. Then out of the lining of the stomach walls these heads just formed and moved out. Hands stretching out from their mouths. Reaching around searching for the two of us. Then from the things eyes two tendril like objects came out. At the end Oh each tendril was an eye ball. Looking around for its prey watching our every movement.

Terror was the only thing that was on my mind as one of the hands slammed down beside me. Close to grabbing us but thankfully out of reach. Then out of no where this raven flew over our heads before landing on Reuben's back like nothing was happening. Reuben was squealing so loudly... oh Notch his terrified squeals... He was so scared. Those hands just kept reaching out trying to grab us. Suddenly the raven opened its wings and flew off. We simply followed after the bird just wanting to get away from this beasts stomach.

Our bodies simply moving on their own accord working on getting away to safety. Running through the pink fleashy tunnels. Slowly the terrain changed the fleashy walls slowly turning to wooden walls. The walls were painted a gentle red with the first row of blocks being dark oak. Soon enough we found ourselves in a bedroom. I don't know why but... that room... in that room all I could feel was safety. Like the room had a protective spell around it to keep everything within the room safe. A comforting feeling just came out in waves. The room seemed to be about 15 by 15 blocks. Massive windows on the left and right.

They were open and silky see through curtains moved around as wind pushed it around. In the center of the room is this massive circular bed with silk hard to see through fabric handing over the bed and covering the entire bed. On the bed a lady sat there. Looking up at the door. Her face was blurred out. "Jesse... come here Jesse..." Her voice was sweet like honey. A comforting loving voice. Beckoning me towards her. Slowly I walked towards her and climbed up onto the bed. The lady looked so... so fragile. Like a simple poppy petal could snap any bone through out her entire body. "It's alright Jesse. I'm here. Your safe now." She was happily humming. Wrapping her arms around my body and pulled me close.

She then pulled Reiben close and laid him on my lap. This feeling is this it felt... right. Like my entire body was telling me that this place. That this place was my actual safe haven. Safe from the dreams, nightmares, from the dangers of the outside world, the real world. Even safe from this odd force that would just be watching me. No matter where I hid. No matter how far I'd run. That feeling would just be there. But there if felt completely safe.

Radar's ebony eye widened slightly his glasses sliding down his nose a little. He pushed his glasses back up as image of the monster went through his head. Hands coming from the beasts mouth just grabbing a person and pulling them into the creatures mouth terrified him. It scared him even more just thinking of how inside the creature was this odd world. That's when he looked at the other books in the chest. If this one part for the book was this bad. Then what are the other dreams like? That aside there isn't much hes getting done just sitting there infront of a chest.

But he knew two people who could possibly help him piece together what was going on. Yes, Jesse's not going to like that he went through her stuff and showed her privet things to others, but he knew his friends could have ideas of how to help. Maybe even have a miracle potion or something that could help her get ride of the nightmares. The only problem that came to mind was how Jesse was going to react once she finds out that he read some of her privet journals... Then again she didn't gave to know about any of that.

He could just tell Jesse that he told Ivor about his worried and that he made a potion to help her. Keeping a simple secret between the three of them wouldn't hurt any one. Glancing out the window. Realization slightly hit. Jesse would be returning from her walk soon. In the panic he quickly grabbed a few of the journals and placed them into his inventory. Quickly ranning around the room he flicking the lever above the closet, returning the chair to the desk and flicked the last lever under the bed.

Making sure that there wasn't any evidence that would show if someone was in there. Closing the door behind him he took a breath trying to calm his nerves. Radar then quickly ran down the hall and waited into the dining hall. His mind racing as he glanced around the hall and walked towards the exit. He smiled excitedly and waved at Jesse as she walked into the building. "Hey Radar. Something wrong?" Jesse sadly frowned and rubbed the back of her neck. Noticing Radar's nervousness.

"Nothings wrong! I just remembered that I wanted to visit Ivor and Harper to learn more about potions. Since they're gonna be here for a while before they travel through the Portal Halleay System again." Radar smiled as he walked around Jesse towards the door. "Oh that's right. You've been wanting to learn how to make potions of healing... right? Yeah you said that last time they left. If you need me Radar I'll be in my office doing papers." Jesse gave a small wave before walking off down the hall.

Radar frowned as he closed the door to the Order Hall behind him before taking off in a sprint down the street. A couple of people were whispering around. Talking to one another once they knee that Jesse was inside again. A few people were attempting to come up with ideas on how to help Jesse, while others were theorizing as to what could have cause this to happen. None of them would've understood the real cause if he told them. Then there was the very few, about one percent of the citizens, of people who were whispering negative things about her.

The ones that still believed that Jesse would do all those horrible things that Romeo did to everyone. When he was pretending to be her. Stealing her life and hurting everyone. A sigh left Radar as he gave a side glare to the people who were talking negatively about his hero. He pushed his tinted glasses up further onto his nose and looked up at the skull house that was in the air. The build that Ivor and Harper called home.

The heat of the lava gave a small comforting welcome to it, unlike the lava in the caves. It also gave a scary aura to it, since the sparks of the lava and the lava itself could accidentally burn anyone.

Radar walked up the single row of stone bricks. A narrow path that went up to a ladder that's used to climb up into the building. Going up he sopn found a trap door and pushed it open. Climing into the skull house. "Ivor? Harper? Are you guys here?" He called out. Closing the trap door behind him and walked deeper into the creeping looking interior.

Ivor hummed to himself as he stood over a brewing stand. Watching as the ingredients worked itself into making a potion. The wood squeaking a little as he shifted his weight from one foot to another. Grinning as the water turned pink. "We're over here Radar." Harper smiled as she grabbed a book from a shelf and started to search for a specific page. "Radar's here?" Ivor quietly asked as Radar came running into the room. He looked panicked as he ran up to the potion making ninja and pulled him away from the brewing stand.

"Oh! Radar. Relax what's wrong?" "Ivor please yell me you can make a potion that can get rid of nightmares and help a person peacefully sleep for... I don't know! Until the person that drank it and isn't tired anymore?!" Radar held onto Ivor's shoulders. Desperately looking into his eyes. Harper looked at Radar and raised a brow. She hasn't known Radar for that long compared to Jesse, her friends, or from what Ivor has told her before. But something told het that this wasn't a normal freak out for the assistant.

"Maybe I can. Maybe I can't. Maybe!" "Ivor! I don't need a maybe! I need a Yes! It's for Jesse... she needs it badly Ivor... she's been having nightmares everyday... she... she's had such little sleep for month now... barely four hours a night... and shes. Just.. closing herself off. Everyone can tell shes been closing people off. Even her closest friends. Olivia, Axel, and Lukas have all tried helping her. Almost everyone has tried something to help... I've tried to get into contact with Petra to see if maybe she could help... shes never left any way for us go contact her. I sent a parrot to try and try into contact with her but that was three months ago..."

Radar swallowed nervously and backed off of Ivor and shook a little trying his hardest to not cry. Harper frowned as she walked up to Radar and wrapped a arm around him. "Now sugar. Take a deep breath and take a seat." She pat his back and helped Radar into a chair. "Now can you explain what's been going on since we've been gone? I'll grab a few books and Ivor and grab the ingredients for the potion once we have all the information we need." Harper smiled softly as she rubbed his back. Radar took a deep breath and shakily rubbed his eyes.

Sniffing a little before shifting through his inventory and pulled out the journals that be brought along with. "P-Please don't let Jesse know that I stole these from her room... I-I thought this could help you. She writes about the dreams that she has and they sound so horrible. For months she hasn't slept, she's closing herself off from everyone... shes barely eaten anything..." he nervously licked his lips and shook his head as he sat the journals down on a desk beside him. "I have to persuade her toeatsomethingassimpleasanapple!" Radar said so quickly that he confused the two.

Harper raised a brow as she took one of the journals off the top of the stack and started to read one. Ivor ran a hand through his beard and looked at the worried assistant. "This does sound bad... has Jesse tried anything about it? Change in diet? Change in scenery?" Ivor questioned as he walked up to a brewer and cauldron. He looked at a few ingredients that they had on a shelf and looked at a few other looking for what he needed.

"Yes! I've seem her change her diet five times! Even though she says she's done it only once... and I've watched her redecorate her room three times before putting it back in order. Olivia, Axel, and Jesse had a sleepover for a few days. Lukas built a log cabin not far by the jungle where he lives. She staid there for a days or so... that didn't help. Even some of the people from Beacon Town have tried things. Presents, parties, stuff like that." Radar shook his head and pulled his knees up to his chest. He rubbed his face with a hand and groaned slightly.

"I.." He took a deep breath trying to calm himself and looked at them. "I had to persuade her to just eat an apple this morning... she's barely eaten anything for the past few days." Radar shook his head and grabbed onto his hair. His gaze went up to the two allowing them to see how worried he was. "That's not good. Not good at all. I'll brew a few sleep potions to hel-" "Ivor... Don't start that portion... from these nightmares that Jesse wrote about... a normal potion won't be able to help her." Harper placed the third journal she's looked through down and looked up at Ivor.

Even though she hasn't gone deep into reading them. Form what she did read. She knew that they were very bad. "What do you mean Harper?" "I haven't dealt eith it personally. But," she then walked ip to an ender chest in the corner of the room and opened it. Shifting through the contents she placed in that no one else can see. After a moment she then pulled out a very old looking book.

She walked up to the lecture in the room and sat the book on it, before quickly flipping through the pages. "there are people who would gain nightmares that wouldn't go away no matter what they did because, of that they created a potion that can fix the problem... but theres only a 40% chance of it working." "F... 40% chance?" Radar shook a little as that number went through his mind.

"Yes, but that's mainly because of one of the ingredients as well as the mental state of the person that's taking the potion. One of the ingredients, if used properly can make a poison, but when correctly using said ingredient it can make a healing potion. The mental health of the person can also affect how the potion reacts to the body. Times are very different nowadays compared to when this potion was first invented. We can fix the ingredient problem and bring the percentage up to 90%. The 10% that it doesnt work is the percentage that's based on Jesse's mental health. But we can do a few things to control that and bring it up to 99.5%. These things are outside sources like Lavender, ice packs to help with any possible fever or headache, and so on. Making this potion will fix everything. Fun fact this potion was first made over five thousand years ago. Back when potion brewing was in its earliest stages and they didn't know what ingredients were best for good potions and which were deadly. Since its modern day we can remove almost all of the problems and help Jesse." Harper smiled and looked at the old potion ingredients over.

"So... it's safe? Right?" Radar nervously walked up to her side. "It'll be completely safe. She'll drink the potion and fall asleep. After a couple of hours she'll wake up good and new!" Harper smiled happily and pulled a piece of paper out along with a quil that was dripping with ink.

"What's it suppose to do?" "Oh well from the description in the book. It says that it will.. induce intense drowsiness and shall remove the ability and effects of dreaming. The removal of the persons Dream will allow for a long peaceful sleep. The effects of the potion will last for as long as necessary. To be more specific until the person vatched up on all the sleep they missed... basically the potion will affect whoever drank it until they've caught up on all their sleep. So she might be sleeping for a day or two." Harper smiled as she showed Radar the information on the page.

Radar thought as he looked at the page with hope and read what Harper explained. Thinking and looking at the two pages before turning the page to read more. Only to raise a brow at the smears of ink that covered the few pages after that. The ancient book seemed to hold alot of things, yet those old ink smears left an odd feeling in his belly. The assistant simply ignored the feeling that swirled around and looked up at the two elders.

"So... what do I need to do?" "All you'd need to do is get Jesse to drink it." Ivor pointed out then motioned to the guest bedroom. "Bring her here to take it." Harper wrote a list of ingredients and scearched for everything. Humming as she grabbed the ingredients that will work better for the potion and smiled since they have everything they needed.

Ivor thought as he started to work on the potion. "So bring her here... got it! I'll be back as soon as I can!" Radar smiled and ran out the magma skull and towards the order hall. Nell thought as she stood infront of Radar making him come to a quick stop and fall. "Oh sorry bru. But I wanna ask ya something." Nell helped him to his feet and brushed him off.

"I-it's okay. What is it Nell? Something wrong?" He frowned worriedly. "Well I was wondering if Jesse is allergic to cats?" "Nooo... why?" Radar raised a brow and fixed his glasses. "Because my cat had kits and i wanna give Jesse one as a gift for her upcoming birthday." Nell smiled and watched as her cat walked out of the front door and walked up to the two.

"Awww~ that sounds so cute and perfect... oh sorry Nell i can't talk much. I need to hurry. Ivor and Harper are doing something and need Jesse's help." "Oh sorry bruh. Didn't mean to stop ya. I just had to know you know." She watched him run off before picking up her cat and went back inside.

Radar opened the door to Jesse's office and peaked his head in. She sat there at the desk writing away at one of the papers. Jesse groaned tiredly and rubbed her eyes a little. "Hey Jesse... can you spare a couple of minutes?" "Hm? Something happen?" Jesse raised a brow and got up.

"Well I was talking to Harper and Ivor while they were showing me how to make a healing potion and Ivor asked me to bring you over. He wanted to ask you for help but he need to wrap up this potion hes making." Jesse got up from the desk and walked over smiling tiredly.

"Sure thing. What does he need help with?" "You'll see." Radar beamed as he took Jesse's hand and lead her down to Ivor's. "Radar you don't need to hold me hand. You know that right?" She tiredly laughed and yawned a little. "I know but I just wanna hold your hand. Plus... you look like your about to collapse." He frowned as they walked through the town.

A couple of people waved over to Jesse and smiled seeing their hero out and about again. Jesse waved back and scratcher the back of her neck. "Everyone is pretty happy today." She hummed quietly as they walked over the stone brick walkway to the ladder. "They're happy to see you out and about again. They're just worried about you."

He climbed up and waited for Jesse. The pale ivory girl climbed up after a minute and rubbed her eyes a little. "I forget how dark the inside of this build is... maybe I should redecorate my room like this for a night?" She muttered under her breath as she walked further into the room.

"Jesse! I'm so happy to see you." Harper smiled and hugged the tired girl. She then moved back and rested her hands on the girls shoulders. Looking her over and frowned. "Jesse I'll be honest for Ivor while he is getting frustrated at the potion hes brewing... you look like shit... how long has it been since you've had a peaceful sleep?" She frowned and dragged her inside.

Ivor turned around and blinked. "Jesse you look like shit." "Harper already told me... I just haven't been sleeping well. That's all." Jesse rubbed her arm not wanted more of her friends to worry about her.

"Well everybody in town has been talking. Someone even asked if we knew what was wrong with you. Since everyone's been talking about you not getting enough sleep" He grinned while turning around and picked up a glass bottle filled with an oddly colored liquid. "We decided to make you a potion to help with your sleeping problem."

"Ivor." She sighed a little. "I've tried medicine already. It doesn't help." Ivor shook his head and handed the raven haired girl the potion. "This potion is nothing like medicine. The potion will remove all dreams and nightmares you'll have. Allowing you to peacefully sleep for as long as necessary until your no longer tired." He smiled happily.

Harper nodded and smiled at her friend. "This potion will work. Back when I lived with Harry and everyone else before the whole P.A.M.A incident... I made a potion like this a few times to help people who couldn't sleep well for months on end. It 100% worked." She smiled happily and motioned Jesse into a spare room.

"Now you just drink that potion and sleep here in the guest bedroom. This way no one bugs you until you've gotten enough sleep." She kissed Jesse's forehead. "But Beacon town." "Radar can handle everything for a few days. You need to sleep." Ivor commented from the other room. Jesse sighed as she brought the glass bottle up to her lips and started to drink the contents of the bottle.

"... It's really sweet." Jesse yawned a little as Harper kissed Jesse's forehead and laid her down. "Now you get some well deserved rest." She hummed softly and laid the blanket on Jesse. "Your very motherly you know that?" She tiredly looked up at her. "And Ivor kind of acts like a father." She yawned and rubbed her eyes a little.

Harper smiled at the comment. "Well to be honest we do want kids... but I can't have any. I've always wanted to be one... though mothering others helps fill in that void." She hummed and laid Jesse's head on her lap. Running her fingers through the raven haired girls hair. Jesse smiled and closed her eyes slowly. Rolling onto her side and relaxed. "I never had a mother since I was... five I think?" She unconsciously commented as she passed out from the potion.

Jesse slowly sat up in confusion. Rubbing her eyes and looked around. "Hello... Harper? Ivor? Radar?" Slowly the hero got to her feet and stared at the room in shock. The stone bricks were all in versus states of age. Some cracked, some covered in moss, even some of the bricks were missing. Vines crawled in through the ceiling and littered the room.

The bed she laid on earlier was in tatters. The bed frame rotting away, the blankets in tatters and shreds and the pillow ripped open. Panic filled her as she ran out into the main room. The room was in even worse shape then the guest bedroom. Bookshelves fallen over, books scattered across the floor, a large check of the wall missing allowing lava to flow into the room.

Broken potion bottles, books burnt to ash, and what looks to be someone's hand on the table. Her emerald eyes looked at the table and saw a few things. She slowly walked up to them to examine them. The first thing she picked up is an odd device. This device is rectangular and about 6 inches tall, 4 inches wide, and 3 inches thick.

The gray metal item had this item sticking up through the top and an odd square frame on the upper half of the front. Three dials were under the odd over layed iron bar grid. One dial a blue color, another a red, and the last purple. She couldn't help but raise a brow as the blue dial was glowing softly.

She decided to wait with the glowing dial and checked out the other two items. The next item is an odd torch like item. She saw something like this before. Harper showed her this invention she was working on that she called a flash light. Basically like a torch but it could go in your pocket and you would have to craft one if you needed to do a simple trip.

Jesse shrugged as she placed it in her overall pocket and stared at the last item. A music box. She slowly picked it up and looked it over carefully. "I... I remember this... I haven't seen this since I was four... I wonder?" She opened the black box and stared at the soft pink interior. A little dancer stood in the center holding a sword in one hand an a potion in another.

She reached behind the box and slowly turned the key. Grinning excitedly and waited for the music to play... but nothing happened. The box was silent as the key slowly unwound and the dancer slowly moved in a circle. Sorrow filling Jesse as she placed the box in her inventory. "Maybe... Maybe I can fix it later? But first... this thing." Jesse pulled the odd rectangle out while placing the music box in her inventory.

She tilted her head and placed a hand on the blue dial. Nervously turning it to the left and waited to see what would happen. ~Hello Jesse.~ the rectangle box spoke. Jesse's eyes widening at the voice she was hearing. It was Harper's. 'Is this... one of Harper's inventions?' Jesse'smind race as she listened to the box.

~I know you might be confused. I understand. I can't tell you much because this is your journey. But these three items will help you along the way. Good luck Jesse. I believe in you.~ Harper's voice gently came from the box before going silent and the dial turning to the right on it's own. All three lights now off. Jesse blinked as she turned to the trap door and stared silently debating on what to do next.
