Hi guys I hope you all enjoy, I've put a slight twist on the shera story line, mostly in the way the horde runs and trains and the obvious close relationship with Catra and Adora!

Chapter 1 : Probably die of boredom
I could feel the ground beneath me shift slightly, I groan as I shove my face close into my pillow, trying to drown out the huffing and shuffling that was happening not far from my bed. Stretching out in defeat I slowly make my way up to sit sluggishly, rubbing the sleep from my eyes as I yawn loudly, my teeth poking out from behind my lips at the action.
On instinct I reach down to the left of me, frowning as I tilt my head towards the empty space, eyes finally opening, huffing in disappointment I look over to the moving figure at the corner of the room, my eyes now wide open as I watch the muscular figure punch at the air in determination, toothbrush hanging out of her mouth as she takes her final swings at the air, smug smirk in place.
"Of course she's awake" whispering to myself as I rake my eyes over her as I start to sneak up slowly towards her, the blond was just wearing a tight white singlet and very tight sweat pants, my eyes were savouring the view, god she was a sight to see… glimmering with sweat… I'm one lucky girl, smirking to myself as I get closer to my favourite blonde, giggling as I watch her point her finger guns at her reflection in the mirror.
"Pew pew" she says with pride, signature smug smirk on her face as she holsters her finger guns, I couldn't help but giggle louder as I watched her be a total dork, loving the look I received as she spun around her eyes wide in confusion and embarrassment.
"You're *giggle* such *giggle* a dork!" I can't contain my laughter anymore, clutching my sides, I can feel my eyes start to water, looking up at her I catch her eyes, staring down at me with a mischievous gleam I knew all to well, matching that devilishly evil smirk plastered across her face as she made her way over to me, reaching out but missing as I managed to compose myself enough to escape her grasp.
Not well enough apparently as I managed to back myself against my bed post, "oof" I breath out looking up at her as she laughs evilly as her arms wrap around me tightly, I couldn't fight the blush that creeped up my neck and spread across my cheeks as she pulled up impossibly closer, resting her forehead against mine, looking deep into my eyes, Her ocean blues still gleaming with mischief.
I'll never get over the butterflies that erupt in me ever time she pulls us close like this, I never really understood why our bond was as strong as it is, or why this gorgeous blonde was the only one I felt comfortable with but why question something that was perfect?
I could feel myself getting lost in our closeness, an uncontrollable purr erupting, surprising me with another blush, this only made her rub her nose against mine a small smile now replacing her smirk.
"We both know you love it" the blonde purred down at me, bumping her nose with mine again as she batted her eyes down at me.
"Yea yea Adora keep telling your self that" breaking our small bubble I lean back, smirk plastered on my face as I wrap my arms around her neck trying to keep that closeness we had before.
"Psh what ever dork" Adora bumps our foreheads once more before releasing me, heading towards the locker room, "try not to be to late this time" she calls over her shoulder in a teasing tone.
"God she's so beautiful" I think as I smile to myself, turning on my heals as I head to the showers, making sure to take all the time in the world, unlike Adora I wasn't a big fan of all the work and training the horde had us do each day, deciding I'd have a long shower I let my body relax under the hot water, letting time slip by.

An hour had passed by and I was now making my way into the training room, watching my team mates fight against horde training bots. Shaking my head as I watch Adora do most of the work, tearing apart robot after robot as the others struggled to keep up, smirking as I watch my favourite blonde get knocked down after making a final blow to the last robot. Looking over to her I hear her let out an annoyed puff of air as the robot didn't fall down the hole in the floor that Adorable had aimed for it to land in, chuckling to myself I decide now was the perfect time to make an appearance, dropping down in front of the my partner as I strut over the the bot, pushing lightly on it with my foot, watching it disappear as it fell.
Turning around to face my exhausted friend I chuckle pointing at the glowing red floor underneath her that she seemed to be oblivious to, and with amazing timing it disappears from beneath her, hearing a small squeal leave the blondes mouth as she follows the floor down.
Rolling my eyes I make my way to the new hole in the floor, crouching down to peer down at Adora, smirk in place as I watch her muscles straining to keep her hanging in place, a blush creeps up my neck as I keep staring down at her, eyes locked.
"Hey Adora, how's it hanging?" Practically purring the words down at her, eyes gleaming at the sight below me,
"Catra" she chuckles up at me, swaying slightly as she readjusts her hand on the beam, exhaustion written all over her face, "Did you really show up late and let us do all the hard parts?" Smiling seductively down at her as she shakes her head at me. I start tilting my head slightly to the left as to say 'duh idiot'.
"that's low even for you" smirk in place thinking her light jab would have me. Leaning my face on my hand I can't help but flutter my eyes at her, practically purring seductively down at her.
"Aww, you know nothings too low for me" grinning evilly down at her as I let my eyes rake up her body, my mind flicking back to this morning and how good Adora and her muscles looked as they gleamed from her morning work out, shaking my head from the thought I stick my hand down for her to grab on. "now get out from there you look like an idiot" snorting out as I lift her out from the hole, both of us sporting blushes as our hands meet.
Once I pulled her out and on her feet we started to dust each other off before heading back to the locker rooms, where the rest of the team was. Adora bumping her shoulder with mine as a silent thank you.
We arrive at our lockers not long after, I lean into mine as I watch my favourite blonde start taking her gear off and placing it into her locker, a small smile resting on her face as she tries to act all annoyed and serious at me, making me chuckle at the sight, bumping our shoulders as she looks at me, fake annoyance on her face.
"You should have seen your face!" Poking her cheek playfully as I lean my back into her front, "you were all like, ah! No! Betrayal!" I laugh harder as I dramatically lay my hand against my forehead, sliding dramatically down Adora front, her giggles finally releasing as I stand back up, watching her throw on her red jacket back on, followed by wrapping her brown belt around her waist.
"Oh come on Catra, were senior cadets now" turning towards me as I lean against my locker, "I can't believe you're still pulling such childish immature….is that a mouse!" She points in a direction I take no notice in as I squeal, jumping as I hide behind her, my fur standing up at the thought of a mouse, my eyes darting around the room. "Oh god I can't believe that still works!" The cheeky blonde cries out between her laughter, my face going blank in annoyance as she wraps an arm around me at my realisation.
"Are you ever not going to fall for that?" I look up at her, she's biting down on her lip trying to hold in the rest of her laughter as I deadpan her, trying to hold back my own smile, shaking my head.
"I don't know are you ever going to let it go?" Rolling my eyes ass I cross my arms in slight annoyance at her joke, "it was one time!" Leaning against my locker I catch her eyes as she lets out another giggle.
"I know but for some reason it's always funny" bumping our shoulders, smiling down at me, I could feel myself melting under her gaze. nothing new there, soft smiles slide across both our faces, leaning forward to rub my nose against hers.
"Adora!" The sudden voice makes us jump back from each other, I watch as the blonde stands up straighter at the presence beside us, I roll my eyes at the disturbance.
"you've done well" our mentor states, her usual cold grey eyes now gleaming proudly as she stares at Adora, never faltering as she gazes at her, like a trophy.As usual I tune out their conversation, shadow weaver always got on my nerves, especially when Adora would kiss her ass I don't know why but it always set a fire inside of me, I never knew why, I chose never to question it along time ago.
I must have been daydreaming for awhile because suddenly I could feel a familiar squeeze on my arm bringing me back, eyes landing on my favourite person as she smiles at me before her eyes fall back to shadow weaver.
"I wouldn't have been able to get that time with out my team" looking at me again a bigger smile this time, "especially with Catra, were the perfect team" she was beaming at the statement, proud of the great team the two of us made when I did make the effort to turn up on time. She looks up at Shadow weaver again finishing off her statement with, "I couldn't ask for a better partner!" Looking up at her in surprise, sure we were close and could basically read each others mind but I never knew she thought that way about our partner ship, I tried hard not to let my blush show as I looked away small smile now settling on my like I could enjoy those words for to long.
"Ah yes, I will never understand how someone as unmotivated as you can keep up with Adora" I feel her eyes drilling holes into me as shadow weavers sets her sights onto me, eyes narrowing at the sound of my name. Crossing my arms as I roll my eyes in distain.
"Always serving up those great pep talks" I mumble under my breathe turning away slightly, stepping out of Adoras warm hold, feeling myself shrinking away more as shadow weaver practically hissed her response at me.
"Silence! Don't be smart with me cadet" eyes narrowed down at me, watching as Adora reached out to place a hand on my shoulder for support, her eyes softer, sending silent apologies as she turns back towards our sour mentor. I watch as shadow weavers eyes warm and relax at the sight of the blonde.
"Adora follow me" she says as she whipped around, stalking off down the hallway, Adora trailing slowly behind her, throwing me a reassuring smile over her shoulder as she disappeared around the corner.

Instead of waiting around in our room I decided to go up to the roof where Adora and I usually hang out, letting my legs hang over the edge as I take in the dull view, the Fright zone wasn't the most thrilling sight to be seen, grey hues covered the view as metal met metal. Releasing a breathe I didn't realise I was holding, closing my eyes as I think back to this morning, thinking about Adora, about the life we could have, seeing the world together, as a team, as partners.
"I wish we could have more" whispering to myself as my eyes fluttered open, looking down, spotting the girl that had just roamed my thoughts, smirk In place as I watch her for a few minutes as she looks down to something in her hand, my curiosity peaked.
Dropping down beside Adora she squeals in surprise, shocked to see me appear beside her, wrapping my arms around her as I snatch the badge from her hand, jumping back up to a ledge as I playfully hold it out of her grasp, giggling at her frustrated face.
"What have we got here?" Taking in the golden badge my eyes widen in pride, mouth forming a grin as I look down at her, feet landing back to her level. "You got promoted!" Beaming up at her with pride, jumping into her arms, snuggling my face into her neck. "I'm so happy for you Adora!" I mumble excitedly into her neck, feeling her shiver at the contact. Pulling back slightly to stare into her eyes, watching as she nervously rubs the back of her neck, something she usually does when she was holding something back.
"I guess" she shrugs, arm falling to her side as she looks down sadly, "it's really not that big of a deal" my heart sunk seeing her not as excited, cupping her cheek as my thumb rubbed small circles across her cheek reassuringly.
"Are you kidding me? This is amazing!" I step out of her arms excited, "we're gonna see the world! Just like we planned!" I dramatically put my foot up against the railing, fist raised in excitement, "we're gonna conquer Etheria!" Smiling widely over to her, "me and you!" Breathing in sharply with glee as I howl, I could feel my excitement growing at the thought of Adora and i. Grabbing her cheeks I purr out, "Adora" my eyes glimmering at the words that were about to leave my mouth, "I need to blow something up!" Purrs vibrating my body.
"Catra um.." I grab her hands, my purrs quieting as I watch her nervously look down at her feet again, squeezing her hands gently as I boop my nose to hers encouraging her to continue. "Shadow weaver said you can't come on missions with me" my head snapped back up hard as her words registered with me, shocked at the punishment our mentor placed on the both of us. Looking into the blondes eyes that's when I register the sadness laying behind them, her tears threatening to spill at any moment.
"Hey Adora" cupping her cheek, smiling softly as I feel her relax under my touch, locking our eyes I continue. "Look it sucks that she wants to punish us like this but that's okay" I shrug with a small chuckle stepping closer, "she can't keep us apart forever" bumping our noses as I lean back with a crooked grin, tilting my head slightly, this caused my ears to flop over, knocking my red crown out of place, sliding it to partially cover my face, gaining a giggle to leave Adoras lips, well worth my clumsy movements that would usually be embarrassing. Pulling her in, bodies flush against each other, resting our heads against each others once again.
"I hate that she's constantly pinning me against you" the taller girl huffs, shaking her head in annoyance, "they tell us we're a team… partners" she huffs again "then make us question our loyalty for status… how does that make sense!" I nuzzle my nose to hers, feeling her calm in my arms at the action, chuckling as I look at her furrowed eyebrows.
"Don't worry about shadow weaver" I pull away, grabbing onto her arms, making sure to keep her close, "it doesn't matter what she thinks or what she does to us" I can't help the smile that forms on my lips as she stares into my multi coloured eyes, "you look out for me" poking her in the chest lightly, " and I look out for you"
These words have been something the two of us have lived by since we could remember, ever since the horde partnered us together, we've stuck by one another. I'd do anything for this girl I think to myself, blush sneaking up my cheeks once agin as I lose myself into her eyes, both of us leaning in to rest against each other.
"What would I do with out you?" Adora breathed out looking down, catching my eyes, her nose once again rubbing against mine, causing me to purr lightly at the feeling. Smirking at her question and with out a second thought I utter,
"Probably die of boredom" shrugging smugly as I chuckle at her playfully, watching her fake annoyance as she shoves me softly into the wall behind us, I pinch her side cheekily, enjoying the high pitch squeal that leaves lips, stepping to the side as mischief flashes across both our eyes.
"Oh we're gonna play this game huh?" Smirking at me taking a slow step towards me, this caused me to giggle at the memory of the both of us rolling and running around our room trying to tickle each other. Shaking my head of the distraction, I smirk up at my favourite girl.
"You say that like you can't catch me" and with that I make my way up the wall, leaving her in the dust, "how does it feel to be the slowest person ever" I joke down at her, sticking my tongue out as she chuckles up at me.
