Chapter 1 – The Quiche
Notes: You don't need to read this story's predecessors to understand this one, though it does set up a few things. One being Ben's new polyamorous relationship with the VKs and Chad that isn't a result of love potions. The second being Wonderland mushrooms, which Jay snuck out in the first story. They are enchanted things that focus on sex magic as a way to achieve a sort of emotional acceptance. Due to a series of hijinks in the previous story, there is a grove of these mushrooms growing at the Enchanted Lake. They also caused a cluster of sexual flowers to grow with them. In the previous story, Ben also brought over the Sea Three after the Core Four had sworn to goodness, though this takes place before his coronation. It was also revealed that Doug is the crown prince of Erebor – a dwarven mountain kingdom (he's half dwarf, half elf) that is in the process of getting officially recognized as a kingdom rather than just a part of Hanover, Queen Snow White's kingdom.
Lastly, in the previous story, Harry started a relationship with Audrey and Doug. Uma gave them permission to court him so long as they understood that crew came first, and they agreed to these terms.
I can't say this enough, the story that follows is dumb. It's dumb. There will be emotional growth and heartfelt romance and political intrigue because apparently I can't avoid that even if I try (like, not hard, but I tried), but there will also be ludicrous, exaggerated, and excessive instances of intimate relations at the hand of magic fungus. It is dumb and absurd and I wouldn't be offended if you decided to skip those parts. This isn't PWP, because I can't really write those, so if you're not comfortable with intimate relations you can skip over that and still get a decent plot, just know that there are a lot of explicit-ish scenes.
GENERAL WARNING – Dubious Consent due to magic – There's a lot of magical greenery making people's lives more complicated in this story, which isn't something they're always looking for but they more or less resign themselves to it/aren't traumatized by it.
-:-:-:-:-:-
Gil liked Auradon.
It was super nice there. The food was good and there was a lot of it and they didn't have to worry about it being poisoned or anything. They got rooms with real furniture and beds (even when he'd lived with his dad in the Lodge, Gil hadn't had one of those – sleeping in a closet until he'd upgraded to a hammock on the Lost Revenge) and their own bathrooms with warm running water. There were plants everywhere and the air smelled fresher and the sky more open and everything just seemed way more cheerful and pretty and nice.
They didn't have to worry about people attacking them as much, though Uma said they still had to be on guard around Mal's crew, in case they were playing the long con. They got to go to school, which Gil wasn't very good at but it was sort of nice to learn things that didn't focus on being a good villain. Gil didn't really want to be a villain if he didn't have to. If anything, he'd be an explorer, like that Flynn Rider guy from the books Uma scavenged as her prized possessions, and while Gil had never read them, she seemed to think that Flynn-guy was super cool, and Uma was super smart, so she was probably right.
There were a few things he didn't like about Auradon, though. Most of them had to do with the crew that got left behind and Uma's growing anxiety since they still hadn't found out what Prince Ben wanted from them, but the rest of it…
Honestly, Gil was happy that Harry had found himself a pretty princess and a pretty prince to appreciate him, because for all that Harry was grumpy, Gil liked him a lot and wanted him to be happy. It was just that this happiness seemed to make Uma even more on edge, because Harry was supposed to be hersand now he was theirs, so she got sad which made her snappy which meant Gil accidentally got himself banished more often than not.
On the bright side, Uma usually sent him to the Enchanted Lake. Gil loved the Enchanted Lake. It was so pretty. The water was clear and there were plants everywhere and there were even some ruins covered in moss so Gil could pretend he was an actual explorer.
Prince Ben had showed them to the place as a sort of welcome party, which hadn't really worked because Mal's crew had been there and Uma didn't like Mal. The good news was that Uma said the place was like a magnet for magic, which meant it was really easy for her to make portals to it even when she couldn't manage it anywhere else (without an elaborately drawn anchor, like the one she had in Gil's closet back at the dorm).
So when Gil annoyed Uma too much, she would send him to the lake, usually allowing him to grab his adventuring satchel that he'd filled with snacks and supplies and actual paper so he could try to draw plants and maps and stuff. He wasn't really good at it, but Uma had a collage of his work up on the corkboard on Harry's abandoned side of the room, so he guessed she must sort of like it.
That day, Gil was looking at plants. He was taking Botany as a science credit, because after being stuck on the Isle for so long, Gil really wanted to learn how to grow things. He shared the class with Evie, who so far had given him only accurate advice when he struggled through his work. But again, that could just be another long con, so Gil tried not to get too comfortable with her.
Gil was on the far side of the lake when he spotted them – a small cluster of plants so pretty he couldn't ignore them if he tried. Like, lots of things in Auradon were pretty, but the mushrooms were a neat light green that reminded him of some of the shells in Uma's jewelry, and they were growing next to these soft-looking pink flowers with big, welcoming petals that seemed to shiver in the wind.
"Oh, wow," Gil said, crouching down close so he could get a better look at the plants. He'd never seen mushrooms like that before, but his time on the Isle had taught him what all the poisonous ones looked like. These must be fine, and they were in Uma's colors, and-
Gil was a genius.
"Okay, Mr. Mushroom," Gil said, easing a few out of the soil and putting them in his bag. "You're going to help me make Uma happy."
He'd cook her something as an apology, something with her mushrooms and it would make her smile the way it always did when he made an effort for her. Gil couldn't make Harry stop ignoring Uma like a dumb person, but he could maybe cheer her up, and that would be good enough for him.
He didn't get too many, not wanting to be greedy, and paused when a flower near his hand seemed to turn, its petals caressing his wrist.
"Hey, Mr. Flower," Gil said, giving the petals a light tickle. The flower bloomed in response, seeming to flutter cheerfully. "Would you like to come live in my dorm room?"
The flower considered this, then nuzzled Gil's hand, which he decided to take as a yes.
"You're going to love it, Mr. Flower," Gil said, putting the stuff he'd learned in his Botany class to use and carefully digging out the cluster of soil directly underneath the flower, trying to get its roots. "Me and Uma live there now since Harry's gone, but it's okay, because we're both very awesome people."
Obviously.
He slid the soil clump into one of the extra plastic baggies Uma made him start carrying around since he was determined to collect samples all the time (like a good explorer). With that, he eased his new flower friend into the bag and sat back, determined to make a new host of sketches, at least until Uma came back for him.
It was nice to not doubt that she would come back for him, which he would have on the Isle. But out here there were only three of them, and with Harry being courted it was just them two, which meant Uma had to come back for Gil.
He might not have been her first choice, but he was the one she was stuck with, and that was good enough for him.
-:-:-:-:-:-
"Uma, Uma, Uma," Gil chanted that night when he strolled back into his dorm room, holding his container of prizes close to his chest. "Uma, I um- look."
He held them out for her approval, practically vibrating in place with restrained excitement.
While she had been annoyed with him earlier, even Uma could not stay frustrated in the wake of a cheerful Gil bearing food, and with a slow kind of reluctance, she broke into a smile.
"You made quiches?" she surmised, motioning him over towards the table.
"I got the recipe from Jane!" Gil chirped, because they sat at her table now, and she seemed super shy but she was nice enough to hook Gil up with printed recipes because he still wasn't that great at using electronics. "And I followed it carefully. These should be as good as the ones you had in the dining hall!"
These were mini quiches – about the same diameter as cupcakes. It had taken him a while to roll out the crust, but the inside had been easy – eggs and cream and cheese and little cubes of ham, all of which he found in the dorm kitchen, and for Uma's quiches – her very special mushrooms.
Gil had saved all the mushrooms for Uma's quiches since he didn't have that many, and they were so very special and pretty and obviously had to go to the most special and pretty person in the room, which was Uma.
"We'll see," Uma said as she grabbed some tissues to act as plates.
Gil beamed as she did so, shooting a quick wave to Flower who was now safely potted and on his bedside table, where he could wish it good morning and good night and exchange small petal high fives because it was a cute magic flower probably.
"It's good," Uma hummed after her first bite, making Gil grin all over again.
He was sure to eat his quiche slowly in case Uma wanted more. He wanted to show her that he was useful, that he could contribute without her worrying about him all the time (he knew she did, even if she didn't say so, because he was dumb and messed up a lot).
"It's really good," Uma murmured when most of her first quiche was done. "The crust is flakier than last time, more buttery, and I was worried Jane might have given you a bad recipe but this shit is legit. The best of all your attempts, I think."
"Thanks, Uma!" Wow, she didn't normally give him this much feedback. "Does it make you happy?"
"You always make me happy, Gil," Uma said, making Gil freeze in place because that was not a thing she had ever shared with him before. That was not a thing Gil had even dared to hope for. "I always appreciate it when you make stuff for me even when I can't say it because I don't want to seem too attached to you, because if I was attached to you, you'd get targeted more and I don't want you to get hurt."
Uma stopped, a look of conflict on her features, but Gil was too busy being overwhelmed and happy to dwell on that.
"Really?" Gil asked, the entire concept seeming too good to be true. "You don't want me to get hurt?"
"Of course I don't want you to get hurt," Uma said, her brows drawing together. "I love you. You're my Gilly, and I'll do whatever I can to make sure that you're protected and why am I telling you this?" Uma pushed away from the table in a rough movement, beginning to pace a circle around the room as she kept talking. "I'm not supposed to tell you this stuff, I was never going to tell you this stuff but it's like I can't stop talking and that worries me a lot and-" She cut herself off, turning back on Gil in a rough motion. "Did you put something in those quiches?"
"What?" Gil blinked. "Just- I followed the recipe-"
"Gil," Uma hissed. "Did you add something to the recipe in a sweet and well-meaning way because I'm the captain and you wanted to do something special for me?"
That was- wow, she knew him so well.
"Um- maybe?" Gil said, pushing away from the table so he could root through his adventuring satchel. "But they weren't poisonous."
"What were they, Gil? I need to know what they were," Uma said, crossing close to him. "I need to know what you dosed me with so I can undo the effects because this is a nightmare."
"Right, sorry." Oh no, he'd made things worse, which was the last thing Gil wanted ever. It made the admittance that Uma loved him and wanted to protect him seem less rewarding. "Um- here."
He passed her the one mushroom he hadn't used. He'd been planning on trying to replant it at the lake.
Uma stared at the mint green fungus. "Where the fuck did you get this thing?"
"The Enchanted Lake!" Gil chirped. "I thought-"
"Gil." Uma dragged a hand across her face. "That means it's probably magic. You gave me a magical fungus that is making me spout the truth nonstop which is not conducive to our survival here in Auradon!"
The truth. It was making her tell the truth, so she really did love him.
"I'm sorry," Gil said. "I just- I wanted to make you happy because you've been so sad lately."
"I'm sad because Harry's being an asshole," Uma said, the words followed by a pinched look that likely meant that she had not intended to say that. "He should be dating us, but instead he's with those fucking royals, and it's not like I can be mad at him for looking for an upgrade. For getting some Auradon-level security. I mean-" She threw her hands up, frustrated. "We can't give him that shit. But they have resources and money and kingdoms, so of course he traded us out for something better."
"I think Harry still likes you," Gil offered when her expression got especially pained. "He's always liked you."
"Harry flirts with everyone," Uma said. "It's a distancing measure to keep himself safe from actual feelings. And now he's- he's being vulnerable and emotional with them when he should be doing that with us." She slumped down on the edge of Gil's bed, frustrated. "I guess we weren't good enough."
"Don't say that, Uma!" Gil settled down beside her, and was relieved when she didn't pull away. "You're the best person I know. You're good enough for anybody. You're good enough for Prince Ben!"
"Not that I'd want him," Uma chuckled, aiming a fond smile at Gil. "Right now, the only people I want are you and Harry."
"Me?" Gil flushed. "You um- you really mean that, Uma?"
"You were never supposed to know," Uma grumbled. "But yes, Gil. You're mine. Your smiles are mine; your sweetness is mine. Your hard work and loyalty and kindness are all mine, and I never want to share you with anyone who can't appreciate that."
"W-Wow, Uma," Gil said, overwhelmed. "I um- I love you too, a lot."
She got a pinched look. "Gil."
"No, I mean it," Gil said, knowing the others doubted him sometimes. "You're so brave and determined. You always took care of us and made sure each of us had a place to sleep and food to eat and you made sure we were treated when we had wounds."
"That's basic decency, Gil," Uma said. "Just because I gave that to you-"
"But you're so- smart," Gil scrambled to explain. "You know what you want. You're so certain and relentless and I wanna be by your side when you change the world, because I know you're going to. I wanna help and make you smile when you feel low. I wanna share the load and make things easier for you because these last few weeks where you've been all snappy and sad have been kind of awful. I mean- that's why I used the super special mushrooms to make your quiches. I just- I wanted you to have a good thing, the best thing."
"Gilly," Uma said, her smile fond. "I appreciate the fact that you try. I always appreciate that, but I… I can't hoard you from the rest of the world. You're too good. You could get your own prince or princess easy ."
"But I don't want them, I want you," Gil said, feeling flushed. "You and Harry, the way we should be. Please, Uma. Please, let me love you. I promise I'm not so dumb that I'd mess it up."
"I know that," Uma sighed. "I know that, Gil, but I'm- I'm not like other girls, and I know you feel this way now, but-"
Uma cut off with a confused look, blinking down at her stomach because Flower had decided to brush against her, growing a little bit out of its pot to bid her hello.
"What's this thing?" Uma asked. "Wait, did you also get it from-"
Gil wasn't entirely sure what happened, but between one moment and he next, Flower had shoved its way into Uma's pajama pants, and his captain thrashed back against the bed with a squawk of surprise.
"Flower," Gil tutted, trying to pull the plant out.
It was stubborn though and held fast, shifting underneath Uma's clothes in weird, spastic movements.
"Fuck," Uma gasped, her hands clutching at her groin. "That thing's licking me. It's licking my- and it feels so damn good, the tongue- it has a tongue and-" She cut off with a moan that made Gil feel warm, had a certain heat pooling between his legs but he ignored it, because his captain was getting attacked by the plant he had brought back.
"Knock it off, Flower," Gil said while Uma moaned again, completely sprawled out on the bed. He pulled her pajama pants down for better access and froze when he realized Flower was in Uma's underwear too, which meant that what it was licking- the thing it was licking-
"Gil," Uma whined when he dragged her underwear off, his breath catching at the sight of flower sucking against her lady parts.
One of the first things Uma had taught him when he came over was the difference between male and female biology. She'd shown it to him in a book from the library because Gil didn't know anything. Like, he knew about sex from the crew, but he didn't really understand how it worked. Uma's standing orders were for him not to have it until he talked to her about it, but he wasn't sure what the rule was for magic plants that were um- pleasuring his captain's yoo-hoo.
He tried tugging it again, but that somehow only pressed the flower against her harder, had it going deeper because her back arched, legs spread wide as a rough croon spilled from her mouth.
"Can you use magic?" Gil asked, feeling a bit frantic and a lot hot.
"I- I can- I'll try," Uma said, pressing a glowing finger against the petals.
Flower surged larger, seeming to curl around her legs, and Uma let out another deep cry.
"It's bigger, the tongue is bigger, it's going so deep," Uma was saying. "It feels so fucking good even though I shouldn't enjoy getting tongue-fucked by a plant, it's so hot and wet, Gil, and you, you need to stop looking before-"
"Before what, Uma?" Gil asked. "Do you want me to leave?"
"No," Uma crooned. "B-But I should, I should, I-" she moaned, legs spreading as Flower squished against her.
Gil felt hot, couldn't not when seeing his captain like this. She was vulnerable but she wanted him there, wanted him to see her fall apart, didn't mind him witnessing her at a moment of weakness and that was humbling in itself. Gil couldn't help but be mesmerized, stare even though he shouldn't, his gaze fixed to Uma's groin. The hair down there was the same pretty blue as her braids, and just above the flowers petals he could see the little bump Uma had called the clitoris.
It was one of the most important parts to pleasuring a lady, she had said, which made him a little sad that it wasn't receiving any sort of attention now. He wanted to help but felt embarrassed to even think of asking to do such a thing, to think of touching his captain like that, and when he was stuck in this indecision, something seemed to happen.
It um- seemed to get bigger. The clitoris. The clit. It was swelling, going from a small nub to a thin sort of protrusion that was all flushed, the thing stretching out of Uma one inch, then two.
"Gil," Uma gasped when she caught him looking at her, her expression almost embarrassed.
"It's different than the pictures you showed me," Gil said, motioning to it.
Uma's flush darkened, her lips parted in desperate gasps. "It's um- a mermaid thing," she said. "Some um- females are capable of both getting impregnated and impregnating males, so-"
"It's like a tiny dick?" Gil asked, stroking it with a careful finger.
Uma spasmed hard against the bed. "Y-Yes, yes, it's- I know it's stupid-"
"What? No, it's cool," Gil said, continuing to tease the small thing. "It's your cool mermaid thing. Can I um- keep making it feel good?"
"Gil," Uma gasped. "Don't- just because you haven't seen a normal girl-"
"Who cares about normal girls?" Gil asked as he continued to stroke her thin, baby dick. "I care about you, and the fact that you can do both is awesome, and Harry would think the same thing."
That made Uma shudder again, her hips rocking into his attention. "G-Gil."
"It's getting fuller," Gil said, feeling it firm up in his hands. "Is it ready to um- you know?"
"Y-Yeah, yeah, I think it's gonna, I'm gonna-" she gasped. "Gil, it's gonna be a mess."
"And it will be your mess," Gil said. "So it will lovely."
One last tweak, and the thing seemed to burst white slick, the liquid coming out in sputters that coated Uma's shirt and Gil's hand. She crooned all the way through it, and Gil helped her through the process, feeling honored that he could help his captain feel so good.
The more white stuff that got worked out, the smaller the thing seemed to get until it was back to being a respectable clit size, nestled happily above Flower's petals.
In fact, it seemed that Flower was done too because it pulled away, leaving Uma's um- entire business on display.
It was Gil's first time seeing one up close, and she was so flushed and wet, spread open like and invitation, clear liquid seeming to spill out of her and onto the bedsheets.
"Fuck," Uma said, shivering hard. "It left this goo behind that feels really warm."
"Do you want me to get it out?" Gil asked, already brushing away what he could from the outside.
Uma moaned, her legs flexing wide. "Gil."
"Because I don't mind," Gil said. "I mean- I'd be honored. I'd love to? I just wanna help. I liked helping you feel good, it made me feel good."
"You can help," Uma said somewhat faintly. "I've fucking dreamed of getting your fingers in me for years now, but I didn't want to abuse my power or your trust."
"Because you are the best," Gil sang, happily sinking his fingers into Uma's warm heat. It was very wet, and he curled his fingers to urge the excess slick out, each movement seeming to make Uma shudder. "You feel so good, Uma."
"Your fingers feel so good, baby," she gasped, hips quivering some as he searched and scraped against every part of her, going deeper and deeper. The way she clutched around him- he loved it, loved it even more when he saw her clit start to expand again.
"N-Not again," Uma moaned. "I just-"
"Can I suck it?" Gil asked, mouth watering in anticipation. "Please, Uma?"
"Fuck," Uma groaned. "You can, but you don't have to."
"I want to, I want to make you feel good," Gil said. "I wanna suck your tiny dick."
"Gil," Uma moaned, but he was already leaning down, already licking a part of Uma into his mouth.
He liked the way she shuddered on his tongue, the way she seemed to swell up. It was salty and bitter, like the ocean, and when he started to suck in earnest she really started to moan, the captain clenching around his fingers with a ruthless sort of need.
"Gil, Gil, fuck, sweetheart," Uma was babbling. "I'm not gonna last. You feel so good, it feels so good and your fingers- I- Gil."
That was his name, and she was chanting it, and he felt so warm and worked up and could hardly care because Uma was falling apart because of him. She thought his fingers and his mouth felt good and he was doing that, and maybe she would let him do it again if he asked. He started thrusting his fingers in and out at her at a steady tempo, because she seemed to enjoy that a lot, caoxing them deep enough to make her croak, savoring the taste of her on his tongue.
"Y-You have to pull off, sweetie," Uma groaned. "I'm gonna- I'll fall apart in your mouth if you don't- Gil, Gil!"
She did, but Gil was ready for it that time, ready for the burst of white that coated the inside of his mouth. He swallowed it, choking a little but pushing onwards because of his captain. He sucked it all down, trying to drink Uma dry, reveling in the feel of her gushing around his fingers.
He'd done that. He'd helped. For real this time.
He sucked her tiny dick until it was down to its original size. Teased her wet folds until Uma could only release weak croons.
Only when he was completely sure she was satisfied did he pull away, flopping next to her on the bed, content with a job well done.
"That was awesome, Captain," he said, in case she was worried.
"Fuck, Gil," Uma gasped, letting her head fall back as she struggled to catch her breath. "You always surprise me. I love and hate that about you. Give me so many damn heart attacks but I wouldn't have you be any other way because that's just you."
"I wouldn't change you either, Captain," Gil hummed, pressing a kiss to her bare hip. "And I know that you're worried about your tiny dick-" Uma groaned. "But I think it's great. It gives me another way I can make you happy, and I- I really want to make you happy. Can I make you feel good like this again, please? I mean like, in the future? I want to future make you happy. And um- every day make you happy."
She offered him a weary smile. "You already make me happy every day and… since I have no choice but to be disgustingly honest with you and there's no way you'll let this go – yes, you can make me feel good going forward, but you also have to let me make you feel good, 'cuz I can see what you're packing right now, sweetheart, and it looks great."
Gil was pretty sure he blushed all the way down to his toes, because he'd been hoping she hadn't noticed that.
"My sweet boy," Uma said, giving the top of his head a careful pet.
"My captain," Gil said, throwing caution to the wind and wrapping an arm around her waist. He grinned when she didn't throw him off. "Can I um- be your boyfriend now?"
Uma sighed. "We shouldn't."
"We're safer in Auradon, captain," Gil interrupted. "We don't have to worry about attacks as much."
"But if we get sent back to the Isle, they'll target your more," Uma said.
"Then we just won't get sent back," Gil decided. "I mean- they're not sending Mal back, and we're way better than her."
That startled a laugh from Uma, which earned Gil a few head scratches.
"Please?" he pressed. "Please, Uma. I promise I'll be a good boyfriend. I'll follow all your rules and make you happy and not be stupid like Harry."
"No one can be as stupid as Harry," Uma allowed. "And… fine," she said. "If we're in Auradon anyway, there's no way in hell I'm going to let Mal have something that I can't. You can be my boyfriend."
"Thanks, Uma!" Gil chirped. "I promise to love you forever."
"That makes me really happy," Uma hummed. "Because I love you too."
Yes, she'd said it again. And she would likely say it many more times.
Gil was so lucky.
"Now, let's get you into the tub," Uma hummed. "I want to return the favor. I want to see what you look like when you come. I want to make you a happy, flushed mess with my hands."
"That would make me really happy, Uma," Gil said, sitting up with a grin, eager to help Uma redress and pleased when she dragged him into the bathroom to make good on her promise.
Uma was going to touch him. Uma loved him.
Auradon really was the best.
-:-:-:-:-:-
Uma had seen Gil in various states of undress due to past injuries, but this was the first time she had purposefully stripped him down, eyes half-lidded and flirtatious the way Harry got sometimes, her dedication and care enough to make Gil ache in the best way. She let out a low whistle when she eased his underwear down his legs, and when she actually wrapped her delicate fingers around his flushed length, he thought he was going to fall apart. His captain was touching him on purpose. She wanted him to feel good and kept looking him over like he was the prettiest thing she'd ever seen.
It made it easy to slide into the full tub, Uma's hand slipping between his legs while she used her water magic to make everything so much more intense, until Gil was shaking helplessly against the tub, crooning while Uma carded her free hand through his curls.
"That's it, just like this, baby," she was saying, pressing kisses to his flushed brow. "You feel so good in my hand, you look so damn pretty. Makes me wet just looking at how pretty you are, how much you trust me to help you."
"Uma," Gil groaned, nuzzling her hand. "Uma, it- it feels really good."
"It should," Uma said, intensifying the magic pulses around his groin. "Because you're mine, and you deserve the best."
With encouragement like that, it didn't take long for Gil to fall apart, Uma guiding him through it all.
Eventually they got into the shower together, both of them naked (which made Gil glad Uma had just seen to him because otherwise he definitely would have been um- hard again). Gil felt humbled by the way Uma let him help her get clean, was pleased and flustered when she returned the favor, until they were just sort of hugging each other under the spray, Uma savoring the feel of fresh water.
"We need a plan, sweetheart," Uma said, nuzzling Gil's chest. "Step one obviously is to undo the effects of the magic mushroom, maybe identify what it is."
"But what about the meantime?" Gil asked, trying not to get overwhelmed by the feel of Uma in his arms, the way he'd always dreamed about but never thought he'd get.
Uma made a face. "We'll have to start avoiding everyone," she said. "Avoid Harry. I can't afford to blab something that could be used against us. I can't make us look weak."
"Okay," Gil said, even though the prospect of avoiding Harry made him sad. "We can do that."
"I don't want to avoid him either," Uma said as though reading his mind. "But we gotta do what we gotta do."
"Aye, aye, Captain," Gil whispered, getting a pleased grin from Uma, and then-
And then, she kissed him.
It really was a fairytale after all.

Endnotes:
If you're wondering about all the different ways magic sex mushrooms can affect a person's life, apparently it's a lot, lol. So yeah, here's some more shenanigans, but this time it's from Gil's POV!
This story will consist of 4 chapters of story content. I update once a week, generally on Sundays, but because things have been so crazy lately, I decided to make an effort to update twice a week. So there will be one update on Sunday and one update on Wednesday/Thursday for now :D
Story notes:
While it's not explicitly stated, Harry's rooming in Audrey's private suite right now since she has one to herself. Originally, Gil was rooming with Harry and Uma was rooming with Dizzy, but when Harry moved in with Audrey, Uma moved in with Gil so he wouldn't be alone. Let's assume Dizzy didn't say anything because she likes having a pretty dorm room to herself ;)
Until next time :)
