The netherworld, the world where demons live, and the king that rules over the netherworld are known as the Demon King. But the Demon King's throne has been vacant for some time. Who will be the next Demon King?
Iruma Suzuki, Age 14. He is a human, but was sold off by his moronic parents, became the demon Sullivan's grandson, and started going to the demon school Babyls in the netherworld. As the name suggested, this is a school for demons in the netherworld, so Iruma is the only human. He was worried at first, believing the demons might find out he's a human and eat him, but many things happened, and he's gotten quite used to life here.
Babyls Demon School
"Good Morning Babyls!" two voices can be heard on the multiple flying television. "This is your announcers Stolas Suzy," said the short green-haired lady, "and Dandalion Dali," said the tall brown-haired man, "here to announce a special offer to the first years who are still in Aleph(1)." both of them said at the same time. "We would like everyone to know that Babyls is the best school in the netherworld," said Suzy, "so good that even the first years will have the respect from other demons in the netherworld," Bali finish. "So we like to introduce you to our newest program: The Rank Up Program!" both said at the same time with the words 'rank up program' display on the screen. "Here hows this work: this program will run for one week and in that week we like our Aleph students to shadow higher rank students so that they can learn from them so that you to can achieve a higher ranking," said Dali, "and to make sure that Aleph doesn't feel under pressure, we will only allow first-years who are rank Daleth(4) or higher to tutor the Aleph so that they can feel more at ease," Suzy continues, "And the best part is that those who participate will have the whole week of school off!" Dali yelled. "In a few minutes, we will post who would be pair up with whom with their picture and name below it. When you see who you will be pairing up with, you and your partner will meet in the front courtyard in the school when the first period starts and once the pairings are made, you can't make any substitutes or trades, " Suzy finish. "Best of luck to all of the first-years and we hope you all achieve your rank goal," both of them finish as the television turns into a countdown starting at ten minutes.
The Abnormal Class, Royal One
Almost everyone in the classroom was chatting about the latest announcement.
"Oh man, a whole week off from school. I can't wait to make(steal) money during the time off," said Andro Jazz, a student of average height, has short black hair, and has both ears pierced. On his hands, he wears gold rings (which are training rings for his inherited magic). His outfit is a tattered black shirt underneath the boys' Babylus jacket and pants uniform who enjoys stealing things from others.
"I can't wait to make up the lost time at school to play my video games," said Shax Lied who Shax wears the typical boy's uniform, except he doesn't wear the bow tie leading to it being wide open. His coat is also shorter, being just above his waist. He wears a pair of yellow earrings, a yellow undershirt with a wavy black design on the bottom, and slightly off-white shoes. He has pointy ears, purple eyes that usually just slit, and yellow hair with jagged patterns. He also has what looks like a horn broken into 3 pieces, shaped like triangles. One pair is stuck to his hair while the rest are levitating and facing away from each other. He a cheerful guy who is often seen playing some kind of game. He himself admits that he is addicted to gambling as well as games, and even chooses a battler that allows him to indulge in his hobbies.
"I think it a perfect time to do a little sword practice," said Gaap Goemon, who wears the typical school uniform, except that he doesn't have the complete bow tie (having only the button-like demon eye ornament), nor the side pockets. He also has a belt-like strip of cloth along his waist where he keeps his sword. His coat is longer than the standard, almost reaching his knees. His hair is silver and looks very close to Kerori's natural hair color. His skin also seems to be of the same color.
"Guys! Aren't you forgetting that we had to tutor a student during those times?" yelled Caim Kamui who wears the typical boy's uniform, including a blue cape with white highlights, and a demonic eye-like bow tie at the center. He appears somewhat bird-like, with a beak, wing-like hands, and a general bird-like fluffiness to his head and body. His ears are comparatively cat-like, and he has two small horns on top of his head. That remark caused the three male students to look at him in shock because they know that his biggest personality trait is that he is the token pervert, with little development beyond that point. "That means we might be spending time with hot girls, and with our ranks, they'll be all over us!" he said with slightly bloodshot eyes. This caused the other three to blush and have goofy grins on their faces, imaginary girls all around them.
"HA HA HA! In one week's time, I shall teach whoever they pick for me to respect the future Demon King!" boasted Sabnock Sabro, a blonde-hair man who was taller than any of his other classmates. The only things that he seems to wear are purple pants with light purple fur on the waist, purple boot with fur on the high end, three sorts of straps on each side of his muscular upper body, and a red cape that has gold, silver, and bronze metal strap around it.
"Oh my, tutoring another student seems like fun," chimed Ix Elizabetta, the tall, female demon student. She has long blonde hair, which is tied back in a ponytail and decorated with a large pink bow. Two shorter curls frame her face. She has two long, slender horns alongside the typically pointed demon ears. She has pale skin and red eyes. She has a very long and prominent tail that ends in a red heart and decorated with a pink ribbon. She wears a more provocative version of the freshman female school uniform. This includes a cropped white blouse with puffed sleeves and pink stitching, as well as a cat-eye clasp at her throat. It is decorated with a pink ribbon. A pink and purple strappy camisole is layered on top. The white blouse ends just below her chest, much shorter than typical and her camisole ends soon after. She wears a pink, layered frilly skirt, ending mid-thigh. Two straps, possibly underwear of some kind, are wrapped around her torso, just below the waist. A decorative purple cuff is worn just above her right knee. Her shoes are enclosed with a pink mid-heel slip-on. It is suggested somewhat that her way of dressing maybe because of succubus heritage, in which seduction is a respected skill. "Don't you agree Crocell?" she said to the only other female student next to her.
"Yeah," said Crocell Kerori, who Her hair is white and her horns are small and black, peeking out from beneath her hair. She wears a white girl's uniform in the sailor style, with a distinct Sailor Moon-Esque red bowtie. She has white stockings and a red skirt. Her most distinct feature, however, is her large, round spectacles.
Everyone seems to be excited about the idea, well almost everyone. Here we have Iruma Suzuki, the only human in the netherworld who has blue spiky hair and is known for having his trademark cowlick. He has Egyptian blue eyes and constantly seen with an impeachable face. He is usually seen wearing the traditional school uniform of the Babyls Demon School, which is an Olympic blue-colored suit with a stripe of white around the collar on the sleeves, a red demon-eyed shaped bow, and the same colored pants. Right now his face looks pale blue and it seems that he's slightly unconscious.
"Are you okay, Master Iruma?" said Asmodeus Alice worriedly, presenting himself with his fair skin and medium-length light-pink hair. He has pointed ears and his eyes are magenta with long eyelashes. Instead of wearing Babylus' school uniform, Alice wears a formal set of his own. He wears a black dress shirt under a white waistcoat and an elegant white overcoat with gold trim, complimenting the gold-trimmed boots and white trousers. Alice pledged a devoted loyalty towards Iruma.
"Do you have a stomach ache Iruma-chi?" chimed Valac Clara, who has long, straight lime green hair and lime green eyes. A pair of rightly curled horns sits just above her pointed ears. Her teeth are sharp and her nails are red. She has a long red tail with a heart on the end. She wears the traditional girls uniform, a white short-sleeved sailor shirt with red trim, and a red skirt, and a large red bow tied around the collar. She has personal pockets on her skirt that are yellow with white smiling faces on them which serves as an integral part of her magic. She also wears slippers that look like green monsters, named Connor and Murph. Clara likes Iruma, but her liking was more like a friend or a playmate.
"No, it no that. It just I'm kind of nervous being a tutor. I not really sure if I can be a good role model," Iruma said honestly. "Nonsense, if anyone has the qualities to become a great leader, it's you Master Iruma. Not only did you get us the Royal One, but your the only one who is a He(5) while the rest of us are Daleth(4), which is a very impressive leap for a first year. If you just be yourself, I know that you'll make a good impression on whoever you get, as you did with all of us," Alice said trying to motivate Iruma, which Carla chanted "Go, Iruma-chi, Go!" with green pon-pons, which she had one her. Feeling Alice and Carla's support, Iruama felt a lot better with a smile on his face. "If you give believe in me, then I'll do it," he said.
When he finished saying that, he heard a beeping noise a people noise coming from the television, and look to see that it already hit the ten-second mark. Everyone watches the screen with excitement/worry to see who going to partner up. Five, Four, Three, Two, One. When it reaches zero, the screen pop-out the match which made some of the students cheer from the result while others groan.
Back to Iruma's group, all three of them saw who they got to pair up with. 'It looks like I'm paired up with Miss Eiko' thought Alice as he saw his picture next to Eiko Oni, who has long, somewhat frizzy blonde hair which is not tied back. She has uneven bangs framing her face. She has two black, bull-like horns on either side of her head, and pointed demon ears. Both Alice and Eiko have become acquainted as both of them have a common obsession to admire Iruma. She has large, round, yellow eyes. "Ooh, I playing with someone names Dosanko. She looks like fun," said Carla seeing that Dosanko's body is of cone-like shape and is a light shade of purple. She is one of the unique demons that only consist of a single eye with long eyelashes with a black pupil as well as having lips often seen with the shade of red. "Who do you have Master Iruma?" Alice asks him, wondering who will be spending the week with him, which made Carla thinking of the same thing. Iruma saw his picture next to a female short pudgy green dragon with purple eyes. She has three horns on the top of her head with one horn being located on her forehead and the other two on the back of her head. On the sides of her face, she has three spikes. On her back, she has two small light green wings. She has sharp fangs that are seen when she opens her mouth. "Gaako." Iruma read out her name. "I wonder what she likes?" he pounder.
Somewhere else in Babyls
As the students saw who will they be pairing up with, the two best friends of Eiko and Gaako saw who will be pair up with, which surprised both of them, but mostly Eiko. When Gaako looks up to see if she was okay, all she can see is and a blank expression on her face. Eriko was shocked to see that not only she wasn't pair up with Iruma, but her best friend was. "Eriko, are you okay?" Gaako said worriedly. This cause Eriko to look down on her friend, get on her knees so that they were at the same height, and took both of the hand and grip in on Gaako's arm. "Why were you pair up with Iruma and not me?!" Eiko wail with comedy tears bursting out of her eyes while shaking her friend. "You're asking the wrong person!" Gaako said with dizziness in her eyes. With all the communication, people were staring at them, wondering what's wrong with them and some of the female students look at Eriko with jealousy know that she was pair up with Alice and not them.
With all these pairings, many people already know that this is going to be an interesting week.
