Golden Grenades, Part 2. (The first one was so good that I made part 2?)

Once again, code Blixxardz in the item shop and special thanks to MidasPissHands on Twitter for the idea!

Chapter 1: Recovery, again.

Preparation for the next war took time, and lots of it that is. Talking isn't much of my thing, really. But, in this situation, I have no choice. You know who I am, the golden mastermind who failed his storm device. In other words, Midas is the name. Everything has been a mix of good and bad. I'm worried for my agents' safety, just as much as mine. Sometimes, I hate being an agent. Also, after the entirety of that war, my henchmen turned into shadows, and I suddenly changed into this purple-ly shadow color? I like it, although Tina wasn't a huge fan of it. Anyway, there's been a bunch of targeted attacks, mostly and me and Tina. Shots fired at our doorstep, missiles launched at the Agency (which failed miserably), and numerous henchmen being held captive. Security is running tight, and there's not much we can do. It's time we take out the Ghosts and their army in its entirety.

Chapter 2: Premonition

The agents worked day-in and day-out in attempts to prepare for this battle. "This isn't a battle for victory, this is a battle to protect the ones I love the most. I'm not backing down, not until every drop of blood, sweat, and tears is ripped out of me." Midas was fueled with rage at this point. Tina was trying her hardest to calm him down, but he refused. "I need to win. I'm not letting those fuckers win, Tina!" Midas was yelling at this point, making Tina back off a bit. Tina could feel the energy in the room. Midas didn't want to win to say he won, he wanted to win to protect Tina and the other agents. Tina was his prized-possession. He'd go through heaven and hell for her. Tina got up and hugged her husband, kissed his cheek, and left the room with the words, "I love you Midas." Tina went over to the Agent table, to find Jules talking with Skye about a game. "Hey girls, whatcha up to?" "Nothing much, Tina! Jules and I were thinking about this sick game called, Twister! Wanna hear about it?" "Not now Skye, I need Jules in private for a second." Jules looked at Tina and guided her to the masterplan room. "What's wrong, Tina?" "Your dad, he's going, crazy again. He wants the Ghosts dead. He wants serious revenge." "He's serious about protection, Tina. He's doing this for you." Tina looked stunned. "Me?" She asked. "Yes, you. Marigold had a bounty on your head. As soon as she found out you married my dad, she went berserk. She wanted to kill you." Tina sat down with sadness. She began to feel bad about her decisions. "Do I have to leave Midas for everyone to be happy?" "No, Tina. We'll figure this out, ok? For now, you can be with my dad as long as you want." Jules hugged Tina, and both exited the room. Tina felt scared. She felt unsafe. She didn't like the idea of being hunted for.

Chapter 3: "This Ends Here."

Weeks go by, and Midas' master plan is complete. Everyone was armored up. Henchmen, agents, all of them. They were ready for war. They raided the Ghost base with vengeance. Henchmen versus Henchmen, Agent versus Agent, Killer versus Killer. War began. Hell broke loose. Henchmen bodies began scattering. Both sides were losing allies. Gunfire was raining through. Building's were riddled with bullets. Cars were on fire. Hell was struck upon the Ghost base. Soon enough, it was down to Agent versus Agent. Blood was splattered everywhere. Bodies on bodies. The Shadow army was able to take out their Ghost counterparts. They were soon granted dominance. It was Ghost Midas versus 5 Shadows. The gunfire started back up. Somehow, Ghost Midas wiped out half of the Shadow army. It was Midas & Tina versus Ghost Midas. Gunfire and explosives were riddled over the base. Both sides ducked behind cars and traded shots. Both sides were injured and tired. Suddenly, Tina went in for a grenade throw, and was struck by a bullet in the torso. Her body quickly dropped and Midas looked with shock and fear. He and Ghost Midas exchanged many counts of gunfire before Shadow Midas drew the fatal bullet to Ghost Midas. He looked at Tina's weak, bleeding body and sobbed. "Not today. Not fucking now!" He exclaimed. "Midas, I...love...you." Tina's body went lifeless. Midas cried. He punched the ground until his hands bled. He lost the love of his life. Midas was defeated, for now.

Chapter 4: …

The other agents were down recovering at their bases. My dad, however, sat in his room for days, weeks and soon to be months. He's really devastated. Tina died in his arms. It makes me sad seeing my dad like this. We've tried everything to cheer him up, nothing's worked. The ghosts issued a peace agreement. I'm losing hope for him. The funeral was hard on him. I can imagine the burial, which low and behold, happens tomorrow. Dad, please snap out of it. We miss you.

Midas was at a crossroads between life and death. Nights became lonely, and mornings became unwanted. Midas was in bed for a very long time. Multiple failed attempts at suicide. Midas was giving up. He couldn't take it anymore. It was time Midas retired and became a better man. For the sake of his sanity, and his only hope. Midas soon began packing his things and headed for a boat on the island. He left to start new beginnings. A new life, he hoped for. One thing remained in his memory. His famous golden chair. The agents mourned the loss of their fellow agent. After Midas' departure, the agents decided to split, and all go about their lives as former-agents. The agency was broken. They were gone. It came to an end.

Chapter 5: Present Day.

"And so children, a golden statue lived happily in the middle of the island. They called it, 'The Midas Touch'. Everyone lived happily, ever after. The End." "Yay! Thank you Uncle Midas!" The children screamed with joy. "Run along kiddos, go play outside." Midas sat back in his chair and thought about the agents for a while. He looked over at his fireplace where a picture of TNTina was. He smiled and said "We'll meet again someday, babe." Meowscles and Lynx moved away from the island to help Alli with her modeling career. Jules went on to be a mechanic at a local repair shop, and well the rest just disappeared. Life was better now. Happiness was infinite. Everything was restored to perfection. Midas rocked in his chair and smiled. He was happy now. The past is in the past. The End.

Ok, this turned out to be WAYY darker than I expected it to be. I kinda finished this storyline off as I was running out of ideas on how to drag it out. This might've been a bit rushed so I might edit somewhere along the lines of next week and this week. For now, enjoy!
