Heaven's Love

Prologue

On a cold winters night, down town near the undercover river, a boat emerged out into the open with gypsies on board, trying to escape, and find shelter to hide from the guards that are taking orders from the one woman who wants every last one of them burn.

Among the gypsies is a little girl, she is wearing a navy robe, and she is holding a little wooden angel in her hand. It was the only thing she has of her mother, she was killed during the escape from their hideout, and know she is alone. The boatman stopped near the exit in town and the gypsies started to get off the boat. Before they could escape, galloping horses were heard with guards riding them, and surrounded them. The gypsies didn't know what to do and before they know it they were hand cuffed. One of them fought back to escape but one of the guards tackled him down to the ground stopping him in his track, they heard a horse stopped right in front of them and looked up. There stood the woman they all feared; Judge Bakura.

Bakura sat up on her black horse, looking down at the pathetic gypsy man with her cold emerald eyes, that showed no mercy nor compassion.

"Having trouble with these gypsies men?," said Bakura with a cold voice that makes you think before you speak your last words. The guards shouted, No sir.

The little girl tried to hide her angel from the guards until suddenly one of them grab her wrist and shouted, "you there, what are you hiding?"

"Stolen goods know doubt, take them from her," said Bakura. The little girl stepped on the guard's foot, yanked her hand out of her grip, and she ran with Bakura on her tale.

She ran as far as her feet can carry her, trying to give Bakura the Slip; She ran towards the cathedra, up the stairs banging the doors, and started screaming for help. She turned around and saw Bakura getting closer. She tried to run away again but Bakura catches up and grabbed her 'little angel' from her hand. Her hands are covered with a tattoo that is shaped with a cross, and a heart merged with it. The little girl thought, 'Please someone save me.' Her hands started to glow dark purple like shadows, Bakura was surprised, and the horse was scared. After snapping out of it, Bakura kicked the poor Little Girl Down to the ground. The impact knocked her unconscious but not enough to kill her. Bakura was thinking, 'what kind of monster are you?' When she looked down upon the girl. Out of fear she unsheathed her sword ready to finish the girl off, when suddenly someone shouted, 'Stop!'. Bakura turned around and saw the Archdeacon.

(I made some adjustments on the lyrics)

"This is an unholy demon. I'm sending it back to hell, where it belongs." Said Bakura.

The Archdeacon picked up the poor unconscious girl in his arms.

Archdeacon:

See the innocent blood you have almost spilt

On the steps of Notre Dame

Bakura looked at him with anger and annoyance and said, "I am guiltless. She ran, I pursued."

Archdeacon:

Now you would add this child's blood to your guilt

On the steps of Notre Dame

Bakura stroll towards him, "My conscience is clear!" She said.

Archdeacon:

You can lie to yourself and your minions

You can claim that you haven't a qualm

But you never can run from

Nor hide what you've done from the eyes

The very eyes of Notre Dame

Chorus:

Kyrie Eleison (Lord have mercy)

Bakura looked at the statues of the church, all looking at him, and for one time in her life, Of power and control.

Chorus:

Kyrie Eleison (Lord have mercy)

Marik:

She felt a twinge of fear for her immortal soul.

"What must I do?" She asked the Archdeacon.

"Care for the child, and raise it as your own," said Archdeacon while holding the child bridal style.

"What? I'm to be saddled with this mons...? Very well. Let her live with you, in your church." Said Bakura.

He was surprised in what she was asking and said,"Live here? Where?"

"Anywhere," she said while looking up at the top of Norte dame.

Bakura:

Just so she's kept locked away

Where no one else can see

"The bell tower, who knows, our Lord works in mysterious ways," said Bakura with a suspicious smirk.

Bakura:

Even this foul creature may

Yet prove one day to be

Of use to me

Bakura looked at the angel toy she took from the girl and saw a name carved on it, and it said, 'Light'.

Marik:

Now here is a riddle to guess if you can

Sing the bells of Notre Dame

For 10 years, the child had grown up, learned to take care of herself, and the bell tower. In secret she has been practicing her shadow magic for many night too, and wondering what life has in store for her.

Marik:

Who is the monster and who is the woman?

Light grabbed a rope and started to ring the bells.

Marik & Chorus:

Sing the bells, bells, bells, bells

Bells, bells, bells, bells

Bells of Notre Dame
