Water. Earth. Fire. Air. A boy's mother and father used to tell him stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar mastered all four elements. Only he could stop the ruthless firebenders. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed and the Fire Nation is nearing victory in the War. Three years ago, The boy was banished from his own home for being considered a threat as bad as the Avatar himself. Some people believe that the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads, and that the cycle is broken. Most people in the world had lost hope and that was a good thing until the boy truly learned the hard truth about his home...

The Fire Nation

This is Taro. He was born to a noble lineage in the Fire Nation only second to that of the Fire Lord's. His family was considered to be the Fire Lord's right hand for years even before the Hundred Year War began. A couple of years ago, something different and unprecedented happened...that thing turned out to be Taro himself. You see when he was born, Taro was born with the skin tone of someone of the Water Tribe, which was impossible considering his mother and father had pale skin like everyone else in the Fire Nation. Too top that off, he was born sick with some type of disease that almost killed him at childbirth. Taro's mother and father took him to the Fire Sages on Avatar Roku's Island and they healed him, but Taro was left with this strange symbol that looked like it had been burned into his right shoulder. The symbol looked a red, curved-like triangle with two red oval-shaped like parts going into it (I don't know how else to describe the Pyrus symbol from Bakugan Sorry). After that day, Taro was completely healed and healthy from the most apart except for these strange dreams that occurred, but other than that he was fine...Well mostly fine.

Once the Fire Nation found about not only his birth, but his near brush with death and the symbol he bore, Taro was quickly shunned by everybody including his own family. Any time he walked the streets of the Fire Nation, Taro was met with glares of disgust and hatred for reasons that he never understood. The only people who never shunned him out were, surprisingly, The noble family of the Fire Lord. Taro was walking the streets and got beat up until he met the honorable General Iroh. He saved Taro from the thugs and introduced me to the Royal Family. Taro instantly became friends with Zuko, his mother Ursa, and his coustin Lu Ten. Azula and Taro didn't get along all that well, but she was very interesting to be around and as for Ozai...well Taro rarely ever saw the man, but when he did, he would always give him the same glares that everyone else in the Nation did. When Taro was 8, he discovered had the ability to firebend. Iroh taught him how to use his bending and Master Piandao taught Taro how to use swords and master hand to hand combat as well. Sometimes, Ozai would even teach him as well, but he was a very harsh teacher compared to his brother and so was Azula.

Years later, after the unexpected death of Lu Ten and Ozai's rise to becoming Fire Lord. Ozai declared that Taro was deemed a threat to the Fire Nation and had be banished. Taro was only fourteen. It's been three years since that day, since he was banished from the place he had once called my home and it was then that Taro truly saw what the Fire Nation was. A Nation fueled by chaos and corruption, resulting in the deaths of innocents. Well Taro decided that he has had enough. During his later years in exile, Taro learned that my mark was some sort of seal that housed a great and powerful dragon, but the beast couldn't speak to me. Whenever his emotions spiked, Taro could tap into the beast's power and would destroy anything in his path, but he could only tap into it in spurts. As of today, it's year the 100 AG and the Hundred Year War is almost over. The Fire Nation may think they have won, but they forgot about two things. Taro and the Avatar.

This is Taro the Banished Dragon of the Fire Nation. He is the Pyrus Soldier. This is his story.

100 AG. Earth Kingdom.

Three. It has been three long years since his banishment by Ozai. Every time Taro closed his eyes and fell asleep, He can still here his deep, commanding voice announcing to the other citizens that he was a threat to their safety and security and therefore should be banished because so. In a way, Ozai banishing Taro was a good thing. Taro learned the complete truth of our Nation and how blinded I was by all the propaganda and lies we have been spreading for years on end, especially about the Earth Kingdom.

Taro has been living in the Earth Kingdom for the better part of two years. He lived in a small hut that he built outside of the Kingdom, so that he wouldn't cause a mass panic since Taro is Fire Nation and an enemy in their eyes. Plus if he ever lost control, no one would get hurt. Speaking of the beast, Taro hadn't been in recent contact with it in quite some time. He had almost believed it to be gone, but somehow Taro just knew that he was still there somewhere.

Taro's little hut isn't all that spectacular. Just a simple wooden cabin with little to almost no food at the moment.

GRUMMMMBLLEEEE

Speaking of food. Our esteemed firebender's stomach grumbled loudly.

Taro sighed. "Well, I guess I need to go hunt for food."

He grabbed his cloak and walked out the hut. Nearby Taro's "home", there's a cave nearby that houses Saber-Tooth Moose Lion. Taro has encountered those animals a couple of times while living out here and lemme tell you, those animals are nothing to joke about. As far as he can remember, there were originally four of them out here: the mother, father, and their two cubs. He killed the father during one of my first years here and his hide and meat lasted me for a very long time. Taro refused to kill the babies as they are innocent and young, but their mother on the other hand might have to go "bye bye"

STOOMMP

BOINKKK

"OWWWW" Taro heard a voice cry as he walked over something squishy. Taro looked down at his foot and saw that he had stepped on someone's head. A young boy with a pony-tail that was stuck in the ground.

"HEY WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" The boy screamed, as he continued to struggle.

Taro snorted. "Next time move out of the way. Ohh that's right, you can't." He finished with smirk. The boy glared at him before continuing his useless struggle. It was then that an apple rolled by both him and Taro's foot. He turned around to see a baby moose lion cub there.

"Well hello there." He thought to himself. "If this cub is here, then that must mean that his mother is nearby." Taro smirked at the thought of fighting and getting myself some food.

Taro turned back around towards the poor fool who was struggling.

"Oi." The boy turned towards Taro. "What's your name."

"Who wants to know?" The boy asked in a suspicious tone.

"The person who might save and help you, if you tell me your name." Taro replied back.

"...Alright, my name is Sokka." Sokka said.

"Sokka eh? That sounds like a Water Tribe name." He commented.

"You got something against the Water Tribe?" Sokka glared.

Taro shook my head. "Not one bit. I happened to respect the Water Tribe." Thanks to Iroh anyways.

"Oh really?" Sokka asked incredulously. He nodded his head at him again.

"So how did you get stuck down there in the first place?" Taro asked.

Sokka let out a sigh. "Well, I was chasing after that cub over there." He pointed with his head at the moose lion cub. "I tried to capture it, but I ended up falling in this whole."

Pfttt. Seriously? This idiot

"You're joking right?" Sokka shook his head no.

"Pfttttt...HAHAHAHA!" Taro laughed out loudly.

Sokka glared. "What's so funny?"

"The fact that you failed so miserably!" Taro chuckled. He continued to laugh for several minutes until he decided he had enough fun torturing Sokka.

"Alright. I guess I'll help you out." Taro said.

Sokka looked up at me with a relived grin. "Ohh thanks man! Oh yeah, I never got your name. What is it?"

Taro grinned at him. "The name's Taro."

"Nice to meet you Taro."
