When Hermione woke up, she was confused by where she was. It wasn't her apartment that she bought soon after graduating Hogwarts, nor was it Ron's apartment either. It wasn't Grimmauld Place either, where Ginny and Harry lived.

Sitting up, she winced as a headache formed. She felt sore in several places and she suddenly shot up as she realized what had happened.

She had a one-night stand with someone while she was in a happy relationship with Ron. Swallowing the lump in her throat, she returned to surveying her surroundings to find any clues about who she did it with.

The room she was in was lavish. The walls were intricately decorated, and the furniture was all new and expensive looking. The bed, she felt, was soft and silky, and as she turned her head, she saw a shock of bleach blonde hair.

She had cheated on Ron with Draco Malfoy.

Hermione wanted to cry but held it in. There was no time to break down. First, she had to leave and tell Ron what happened and hope Malfoy didn't tell anyone what went on. Just as she was about to give up, the man next to her spoke up.

"And where are you going, Granger?" he drawled.

Malfoy sat up and faced her. She could see the evidence from last night's event and felt like she could throw up.

"Leaving. After all, aren't we both getting married soon?" she replied coldly.

Ron had just proposed to her and wedding planning was already in process while Draco's wedding was in a month, everything already planned out.

"Yeah. So?" he said nonchalantly, which shocked her.

Malfoy seemed too much like a Daddy's boy to cheat. He was only marrying Astoria Greengrass because his father told him to and cheating would only get him in trouble, with his family and with everyone else.

"SO?" she screeched, "We're about to get married, Malfoy! To different people. Didn't anyone ever teach you cheating was wrong?"

She grew angrier with every word she said, but Malfoy remained the same, his face not showing any emotion. Then, without warning, he leaned forward to kiss her.

Hermione immediately pushed him back. She was about to slap him, but Malfoy stopped her before it connected. He kissed her once again and this time, Hermione melted.

In truth, Hermione had always had a minor attraction to Malfoy, but it was superficial. She loved Ron way more than she liked Malfoy, but curiosity won over.

She always wondered what it was like to kiss Malfoy, and now she had her answer. His kisses were passionate, given with everything she got and Hermione was helpless to stop him.

Malfoy broke the kiss and started trailing kisses down her jaw and then her neck. Hermione moaned, but soon, her guilt came back. As much as she loved this, she couldn't cheat on Ron.

She pushed Malfoy away, and this time, he did nothing to stop her. He just watched as she gathered her clothes and left.

However, that was not the last time it happened. The second time, Malfoy visited her in her apartment and despite herself, Hermione couldn't resist.

By the fourth time, it was her who took the initiative, going to Draco's apartment that he bought for some privacy from his parents.

In the end, she couldn't say no. And thus, her descent began and there was nothing that could stop it.
