The Calm Before The Storm

As usual Ilia and Linkette were hanging out and Linkette's horse Epona was with them as well. "So what do you want to do today Linkette?" I blinked, shaking my head and then shrugged. "Hay, you've been taking good care of Epona Linkette. Nice job!" So we just sat there talking until Ilias father called us for dinner.

So, the next morning, I woke up early and bathed Epona and took her for a morning ride. i was just coming back from my morning ride when Ilia ran up to me and Epona. "Hay Linkette, you bathed Epona already? I was going to do that!" Ilia says, pouting slight at me. I laughed quietly and replied. "Hay, just cause your my friend doesn't mean I can't take care of my horse." I said bluntly. "What's up with you Link?" Bo asked questioningly. "Nothing, I just have a sassy attitude!" I replied jokingly, although I really was sassy thanks to Ilia. Both me and Ilia laughed at what I said while Bo just looked concused.

A couple weeks later, I was startled awake to a loud knocking on more door. Then a booming voice calls up to me. "Hay, Link, have you seen Ilia?" at that question I froze. "Wait she isn't at the spring?" I climbed down the later and in the process, I called for Epona. A couple hours later, I arrived in a field that was wide open and a bridge. I led Epona by the rains and walked on the bridge, I then arrived in a forest with a lot of little children whereing green. Then a girl with green hair ran up to me with a smile.

So on my journey before I reached this forest, I found out that I was the descendent of The Hero of Time. So when the green haired girl ran up to me, I was surprised. Then she did something else that surprised me, she jumped at me and tackled me to the ground shouting excitedly. "Linkette, your back! I knew you would come back!" I blinked and replied nervously. I was going to play along with this little game, and pretend to be The Hero of Time, because this girl sure thought I was her. "Yeah, I'm back, how have you been?" I racked my brain to see if I could think of her name. "I've been doing fine Linkette, how about you?" I blinked then replied with a bright smile on my face. "I've been great Saria, I think I'm going to stay here in the forest for a little while." I had said the name of the girl without even realizing it. This is the Forest Sage, Saria, she is one of the Kokiri Children who live here in the Kokiri Forest.

The next morning I awoke early and headed to the meadow. "Hello there Hero." A deep voice said, making me jump in surprise. "That's the Great Deku Tree calling you Linkette," I turned to see Saria, who was smiling at brightly at me. Apparently one of the fairy's in the tree herd Saria say my name, because a blue fairy came zipping out of the branches. "Linkette, your back!" The fairy exclaimed excitedly, flying around me happily.

I blinked in surprise looking up at the Great Deku Tree in confusion. "That was The Hero of Time's fairy companion." The Great Deku Tree said, answering my silent question. I blinked and peaked up at the fairy with wide sapphire eyes. I was still in shock because I had never met a fairy before in my life.
