"It occurs to me that I never asked you." Rum Tum Tugger said as he pressed the back of his fingers against the corner of my forehead.

As soon as his fingers made contact with me I closed my eyes and asked, "Ask me what?"

He smiled as scooted closer to me,"To marry me."

"Don't we kinda have to?" I asked as soon as I saw the confused look he was giving me, "I mean for the truce to take effect."

"Your still thinking like a Tryanslvanian Princess"

"Vampiress" I corrected him with a smile.

"I'm asking you Vampiress," He leapt off the white marble gazebo, "Lauren Drekka Dracula, Will you take me in all my flaws and marry me?"

I didn't answer his question with words I pretty much dove on to him wrapping my arms around his neck and flattened him on his back. I heard his breath catch in his throat, as he fell back in the lush grass and sparse flowers beneath us.

"So... Yes? No? Maybe?" He smiled up at me as we both lied together in the grass.

"What do you think?"

"Is that a No?"

"You can't even say that with a straight face." I pointed out as I sat up.

He laughed with me as he rose on one elbow with a knee bent in a reclined position before he moved to embrace me. He petted my black and pink hair on both sides, as if trying to pat my hair down, his fingers moved from my hair to my lips and poured his concentration into tracing them gently before he held my jaw in both his hands before his lips made contact with mine.

"I'll never get used to that." I smiled.
