A/N: This is going to be the biggest project I have ever tried to take on, and I know I have a bad track record of dropping even smaller projects… and while I am doing this for my own mental health, I also am doing this for everyone who is yearning for some CHROBIN to read… so here we go! Also, the cover image will show you what this stories' Robin looks like.

Premonition: Invisible Ties

Robin circles around Chrom and Validar as the man back peddles, lighting jumping between the two hands of the dark-skinned man keeping the divine blade from sinking into his flesh as Chrom keeps the pressure on his opponent, while Robin charges up a spell waiting for the right moment to attack when the man teleports away suddenly.

Chrom is the first to notice where the man floats above the two as he shouts "THERE!" Looking up Robin has just enough time to jump out of the way of an explosive spell as she sends her own at the man, who disappears after being struck, 'Damn illusions' Robin curses mentally as she looks to Chrom just in time to see him sent flying into a pillar by more of Validar's magic, and just as the dark sorcerer was about to hit him with another spell Robin charges forward countering the spell with one of her own, as she pulls Chrom to his feet, sharing a wordless thanks and your welcome with the man before she turns to Validar as he glares at them both a disgusted look on his face.

"Come on Robin, this is it! Our final battle!" Chrom says returning to a fighting stance "Remember you're one of us, Robin, and no "Destiny" can change that." Chrom smiles at Robin for a moment saying "Now let's kill this bastard and be done with it!" before charging forward once more!"

Validar laughs as he asks "HA HA AH! Why do you resist?" but neither of them gives him a word as Chrom leads the attack once more only for the man to laugh more "Gya ha ha! FOOLS! Struggle all you want! You cannot unwrite what is already written!" only for his laughing to stop as Falchion slips past his guard to sink into his side as Chrom charges past him and Robin lances the man with a blast of Thoron, and Chrom spins around slashing into the man's back.

Validar's body burst into purple flames as he collapses, and Chrom rushes over to Robin, and her to him before they embrace, placing foreheads together before Chrom steals a kiss from his tactician's lips wanting to let her know everything is going to be okay in a way only he can, but as their lip's part Robin notices their fallen foe standing back up as he shouts "THIS ISNT OVER DAMN YOU BOTH!" and sends for a giant sphere of dark magic, in a moment of pure instinct Robin shoves her lover aside taking the blast head-on and being sent back, and sliding across the floor.

Chrom runs over asking "Are you alright?" as he sits Robin up and looks back to see Validar burning away once more, "That is the end of him…" as Validar finally disappears and the dark flames dissipate he turns back to Robin with his goofy smile "thanks to you we carried the day! We can rest easy now" and pulls Robin back onto her feet when a wave of intense pain washes over Robin and the edge of her vision blurs red and her ears ring as it becomes hard to make out what her lover is saying, but his lips read "Hey, what's wrong, hey, hey look-" before a gasp escapes his lips and his face contorts in pain and shock and he stumbles back away from her a spear of Thorn sticking out of his chest as one of his hands clutch at it.

Robin looks at her own hand in horror before looking back to Chrom as he says "this is not your… your fault… Promise me… you will escape from this place… Please go." and he collapses to the floor with a heavy thud his face pressed against the floor as Robin steps back and a cruel unnatural laugh fills the air.

A/N: I know this chapter is just a retelling of the intro but things will soon be a lot more original as I will be adding to the scenes of other parts of the story, just not too much I could do here...
