Prompt: We grew up together. You just never knew I existed.
Chapter One: Invisible
Adrien always felt alone lately. Well, besides the fact he had Plagg. But, Plagg didn't understand. Plagg wasn't human. Some nights, while Plagg was asleep, he'd get up and cry. The fact that his father never paid attention- his mother was dead, he felt so alone. Little did he know blue eyes watched him, cried with him, and stayed there with him through every moment.
When he went to school, she followed him. When he became Cat Noir, she gave him pushes he needed. She was there for him, no matter what. Too bad she was stuck where she was. Her name? Lea. Lea Jacque. A long time ago, she got trapped in time, trapped and she didn't grow up.
She watched as the house they now call the "Agreste Mansion" was built. She watched as Gabriel and Emile moved in. She watched as Adrien joined the family. She watched as Gabriel grew his business. She watched as Emile grew ill. She watched as Adrien fretted about, trying to get close to her. She watched as Nathalie and Gorilla were hired to protect Adrien from something there was no protection from. She watched as Gabriel held his dying wife. She watched as Gabriel took the butterfly miraculous out to save his wife.
She watched as Adrien was forgotten.
But- something began to change. Something Lea couldn't quite put her finger on. On days when Adrien would break down, her motherly instincts would kick in and she'd embrace him. But lately- Adrien has been feeling the embrace. And at school, when Lea was paying attention to Adrien, she accidentally bumped into Chloe and Chloe fell. Lea was becoming… solid?
Impossible. There was no way that was possible. But, she tested it out more and more- from pushing a pencil off of Adrien's desk to stealing lipstick from Chloe's locker. From setting more camembert in Adrien's bag for Plagg to logging into Adrien's phone.
It was happening. The curse was wearing off. And there was no stopping it.
"Adrikins!" Chloe said, rushing over to Adrien. Lea stepped in between Chloe and Adrien, causing Chloe's body to make a jerking movement. Chloe looked bewildered for a hot second, but then went on with what she was going to say. "You know, there's a dance tonight for the whole school!"
"Yeah, but I'm sure Adrien has much better things to do with his time than go on a date with you, I know how about Marinette? At least she has a better fashion sense," Lea muttered. Chloe and Adrien looked around, trying to figure out who said that. Oh. So now she can be heard. A smirk appeared on Lea's face. "You know, Adrien, Marinette likes you a lot. Chloe just wants attention. Marinette wants you." Blush appeared on Adrien's face. Chloe looked infuriated. Lea stood to the side of Chloe, as Chloe swatted the air. But, Lea took one misstep and fell forward. She let out a little yelp and landed on the floor.
"Who. Are. You?" Chloe asked.
"Wait- you can see me?" Lea asked.
"What do you mean? Are you an akuma or something?" Adrien asked.
"No! My name is Lea, and I think- I think the spell I was under just broke. I'm- I'm real again!" Lea looked excitedly at Adrien. Lea got up onto her feet and did a little twirl. "WOO-HOO! I'M ABLE TO BE SEEN!" Then reality sunk in. Suddenly, Lea's eyes stung. A tear dripped down her cheek and Adrien looked at her. "I'm able to be seen…"
"What's wrong with that?" Adrien asked.
"I was trapped in time, Adrien. That's all I can explain it as. And… Two-hundred years ago I watched as my parents were killed and wanted nothing else but to die with them, but I got worse. I was cursed. And now that I'm able to be seen, nothing will be the same," Lea said quietly. Chloe looked horrified.
"So you're saying that you're over two hundred years old? RIDICULOUS! UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!" Chloe stormed off.
"What do you mean?" Adrien asked, wanting Lea to elaborate.
"I mean I lived in your house, Adrien. I mean I watched you grow up, you just didn't know I existed," Lea began. "I mean I'm living two hundred years longer than I should've. I belong in the world I was living, though lonely, at least I could cheer you on." Adrien stared.
"Who are you?"
"Lea Jacque," Lea answered.
"I've heard of you, in history. You're the girl that disappeared from prison after your parents were killed," Adrien said, finally realizing what was happening. "You mean you disappeared because…"
"I was cursed. I wasn't supposed to keep living. Adrien, I have done the impossible. I have broken the curse."
Okay, so this story is based off of prompts I find, and so I wanted my OC to have an unforgettable story, and ofc I want her to be with Adrien because I want to marry him. I know I can't so I make OCs that can. I am accepting prompts for more chapters, because I may not be able to find more to fit the story. Review if you liked the story!
